The amount of growth I’ve seen from my student’s time at C&V music has been so inspiring! The team goes above and beyond, and you feel their care and passion for music and learning in every lesson. I really love the annual events they put on for the students to showcase all they’ve been working on. So much love goes into every moment they spend with their students! It’s only been about a year and I’ve seen my student go from not knowing much to now reading music, playing by ear, and learning hard songs in one sitting. The greatest gift C&V music has offered is confidence and the discipline to want to keep getting better. At this point, I can’t wait for my unborn child to reach the age to begin taking music lessons! If only C&V music taught little infants if you’re questioning if you should give C&V music a chance — stop! You won’t have any regrets, this company is a gem!

Guitar Center held $700 hostage until my credit card company reversed the charge. Guitar Center themselves never willingly refunded me.
They physically dropped my “available now for store pickup” item, offering to have a replacement unit transferred from another local store the following week. The timing wouldn’t work for me, so I asked them to cancel the order. The store associate said they did. At this point, everything was fine. Unfortunate, but understandable.
Later, I saw a shipping notification from Kansas, of all places, despite me never ordering an item to be shipped and having assumed my item to be canceled and refunded (because the associate told me it was). Nope, still being charged and awaiting refund.
To get a sense of how absurd this is, imagine ordering food for takeout, then the restaurant telling you they dropped your food and canceled your order… only to then try to still charge you with food shipped from another state.
It bounced around the country for a bit, with Guitar Center refusing to refund me, until the charge was reversed without Guitar Center’s help. One support rep for the 800 number was very nice, but ineffective.
There’s no excuse for this behavior, especially during a pandemic when people are losing jobs and don’t just have extra money sitting around.
I called and asked if they bought used drum sets. The employee asked the type and said they were definitely interested. I took the kit apart and drove right down. When I got there I was informed that they weren’t buying drum sets at the moment. I told the guy I had called already and his exact response was “I don’t know what to say, you must have called the other store”.I hit redial on my phone in front of him and by my 1 star ,you can guess who was right. Total waste of my time. Total unprofessional attitude from the clerk.
Wow! Congratulations guys, you have earned the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE award! I walked in, ready to drop some serious ca$h on musical gear and these knuckleheads completely ignored me. When I asked for help, they seemed irritated that someone would dare speak to them. I got, “oh I don’t work in this department, duh” to “yeah I’ll be right there” and then nothing. This place is a filthy castle of burned out, grumpy musicians and you are much better off watching YouTube videos and purchasing things online.

A decent Ace finally! Good inventory and lots of associates to help.
There is nothing more satisfying then walking in to a local, family owned establishment and receiving a 5 ⭐ experience.
I don’t recall the gentleman’s name who helped me find some very specific sized hardware, but it wasn’t a task I was willing to take on myself and spend hours walking up and down the aisles locating.
Wes was as pleasant as anyone could be at the front register, and it was abundantly clear that he loves what he does and it shows.

Great Customer Service
Even when they don’t have to, they still do whatever it takes to satisfy a customer. They go above and beyond, unlike the attitude from big box stores. I love having a local hardware store that I can count on. And the way that everyone on the team is friendly and accommodating, it positively reflects the attitude of management. Well done Ace.

Needed a key made front register guy was like it’s in the back, then I stood back there for like 5 minutes for someone to help me and I had to go find. That person was great but the front person seemed very disinterested.
Quick fast friendly service getting propane for hurricane Irma.
Very curious visit. Was excited for a quick trip to get some supplies. Instead ended up being ignored from the moment I walked in. No one acknowledged me standing at the paint counter for quite a while. Even though two employees walked past me a couple of times.
I realize they are busy, and was hoping for them to offer to help when they could. Eventually I asked the front cashier for someone to help me in paint.
I was then told by the charming young lady that came: “We were all with customers” Interesting am I not a customer? I completely understand being busy. But simply letting me know, we’ll be right with you, or can we help you? would have been amazing.
Honestly I had a few questions about my supplies I was getting, but felt like I would be inconveniencing them by asking so I’ll try google I guess.
The second star is for carrying the paint I needed!

What happened to
Axe the helpful hardware Store??
I ordered the key from the store in the end of September. I was told I should get the key a week or two. In the October I called and checked nobody even knew where my order was. I hung up and called backa again finally someone found the order, and yet he said the key was on the backorder. I waited two weeks, decided going to the store to check. The guy who took care taking 15 minute to check and then told me the key is on the backorder, and he needed to submit the order again. By this time, I am PO. I told him go ahead to give me the refund. He replied You have to wait for my manager and he is somewhere in the store. I WAITED AGAIN. By now, I am very angry, and I paid 150$ or more for the key and waited almost two months, and the order was not even there. NOW I HAVE To wait for the manager who wondering around the store instead of a customer who has a big issue with their service. I do suggest thinking twice b4 getting keys done at ACE. I decided to cancelled my credit card payment for none received merchant since they dont care about customers.

Rob in the guitar area was amazing. We were looking to get my 11 year old son into his first decent guitar. Rob was extremely knowledgeable and so patient. He allowed my son to try as many different guitars as he wished and Rob was able to provide valuable feedback into which guitar fit my son the best. The store was well organized, clean and allowed for a very nice overall experience. We will definitely be back.
Always have a great experience every time I’m here with my son. Tyler is amazing and we love Jeff as an instructor too!
First time I came to this location, they did a great price match for me especially because the exact product i was looking for wasn’t available. Decided to come back, and they were excelent in helpng me out again. Great group of friendly folks.
The Instructor Jeff is good. He supports you and a great motivator. I was new to bass and he gave me good tips to start with
The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but once inside the selection is good. Watch for an occasional used bargain and check out the monthly sales.
Much nicer since we don’t need masks. It was rough during those indoctrinating times. Basically comply without real science and medical facts. Tyler was a great help. Very welcoming and friendly. Remembered what I called for and needed.
Just got home from my first visit since our country closed down for the flu. Met at the door by two mask wearing employees. I wasn’t wearing a mask and was asked if I had one. I replied no and turned around to leave. I was offered a mask, but will not wear one. They are not required by our county and when they are required I still won’t.
I guess I’ll just feed the Amazon giant. It’s only a matter of time before Amazon puts them out of business anyway. Better get used to it.
My kids took music lessons.
We had a lousy experience with Ambika in piano. She was very unprofessional and entitled. She changed class dates and times several times and even cancelled at the last second.
The other teacher was great, however. So choose teachers wisely and don’t be afraid to switch if you feel uncomfortable with your teacher.
I keep getting calls from this place. Please stop calling me.
