Kidder Music provides wonderful customer service and quick responses. I highly recommend their business!
Great people, there to help! Offered me a lot of helpful information on an old instrument of mine, and went to extra work to fix the broken string when they noticed a little manufacturing problem that made it harder to change the string at no extra cost. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Well-priced products, as well.
Great customer service and an amazing selection of instruments.
Friendly and helpful staff!
Friendly and knowledgeable
The store is pretty good. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They take the time to help you find what you are looking for, whether it’s sheet music, instruments, or accessories. They also offer lessons with some great teachers.
Have issues taking money off cards don’t say why just say sorry we can’t help
4. Flores Music
Address: 3831 N Sheridan Rd, Peoria, IL 61614 , Marshall County , Illinois , United States
Great Selection! Great Staff! Very helpful when needed! 5 Stars!
The best music store experience i have ever had was here, the staff were very friendly, kind & actually knew about the instruments. I walked in looking for a bass & not expecting to see a big variety. Not only did they have a great variety of basses but they have a very good range of prices. I found one that i really liked, it both looked & sounded amazing. I truly can’t express how happy i was with the bass i bought & the level of help i had making my choice, i will definitely be returning for my musical need from now on!
The always treat me like family and always try to help with whatever they can. Highly knowledgeable staff and great selection of gear for any musician.
Pros: I just moved here and was told by a guitar center employee that Flores music down the road has the best guy around to diagnose a problem I have with my very expensive guitar. Three shops had tried and failed at this point. I wish I could remember the technicians name; it started with a “j” I know, he takes one look at the guitar and checks a couple things. He then tells me that the problem is easily fixed. I tell him I’ve heard that before. But while I waited he fixed the buzzing problem and even corrected a couple other things that were bad. I’ve never had a guitar play this well ever! The con is when I was done thanking the savior of my taylor guitar a man from the store got mad at me for peeking my head in the shop to talk to the technician who I am trusting with my guitar. Sorry Flores music for bothering you with my business. Great repairs and lousy customer relations.
It was awesome na Kevin Gray Is such a good drum teacher
Nice music store.
Last year my son was supposed to be getting a pretty nice Fender Telecaster, which they said would be held on to for us until we saved up enough money for it. However, they ended up selling it to someone else. I will never step foot in this store again.
When I was unhappy with the 5th string banjo capo they sold me, they didn’t offer any kind of refund or even a discount on a new installation. Instead, they reacted in what I thought was a rude and unhelpful manner. Come on people… this is customer service 101!
WENT HERE WITH MY MOM AND DAUGHTER , people act like they are too busy to help paying customers that have been a customer for years . SHOP AT SWEETWATER , OR SAM ASH THEY Treat you like customers not trash !! Family is done shopping here endnof story you should too this place is NO GOOD THUMBS DOWN !!

Rock Solid Studio is just that, Solid. Jimmy completely understands the profession, is so professional from the moment you begin to the final product and has the insight and instincts to create exactly what the client envisions. Hands down, Rock Solid Studio is a valuable gem in Central Illinois! He can accommodate any size ensemble and relates to all age groups. As a high school band director, that is comforting to know. Do not hesitate to make the connection with Jimmy and enjoy the experience.
I can’t say enough about this studio. The space is the most inviting and inspiring studio I’ve worked in by far. The guys are wonderful people and Jimmy is a rare talent in production. The quality of work is exceptional. Rock Solid studio is really a cut above.
Jimmy and the Rock Solid studio is like none other. My recording sessions were professional and the result has been amazing. I use the recordings every week in my teaching material and they are crisp and crystal clear.
We had a very good experience here! Nice studio with professionals. I would definitely return!

Visiting the guitar junkyard is always fun new instruments talking with Terry getting my guitar sound awesome it’s a pleasure too.
This place is lined with guitar stuff from floor to ceiling. It has about everything you need for a guitar instrument. The guy was very helpful.
Not my favorite but only choice around
Due to health issues store is closed so I can’t read it
I went into Younger than Yesterday having total ignorance of vinyl. I simply needed a few records for an electrical engineering project, and the staff helped me through every step of the way. They even gave me advice for how to do my project. Great store, great atmosphere, great people.
Very friendly gentleman and knowledgeable
My only complaint is that their new vinyl is very overpriced. Great selection of used stuff though.
It’s ok they have so much stuff in boxes, and storage containers It’s a mess In there. So they may have tons of good stuff but don’t know because in boxes or storage bins. The place is kinda hard to get around to check things out.
Great selection at a fair price!
Eh
Never will return. Had records out on the floor that evidently weren’t for sale yet??? had no interest in helping me and then when he did was a total jerk. Unbelievable.
. Totally made us feel unwelcome. He has TONS of stuff. We made a purchase but will never go back to the overpriced elitist
9. RBC Entertainment
Address: 2010 E Bishop Ave, Peoria, IL 61614 , Marshall County , Illinois , United States
Jeff is amazing to work with. Affordable rates, good music and personable DJ. My wedding had no alcohol and he still got most of the guests out on the dance floor. Would definitely recommend. My only critique would be to play a few more slow songs so people get a slight break from the full-on dancing songs haha. Otherwise, great experience.

Great deals Great prices
Super nice store and very helpful always
Good amps but they didn’t get down a guitar i wanted to play
Knowledgeable staff and everything you need.
Last five years I have purchased several guitars several by I’m talking around 10 I walked in to this music store a lady did not even ask me how they can help me all she said was what are you looking for looked around for awhile noticed that the pricing was a little bit outrageous. But the main thing was the woman that put the sour taste in my mouth by acting like it was a bother for us to even walk in the store. Oh well their loss my game I’ll continue purchasing equipment from American music supply Sweetwater. Won’t go back
These guys are crooks. Everything they sell is overpriced, and their services are terrible. I went in to install a new bridge pickup for my electric guitar, and they quoted an unreasonable price for the job. Since I was already there I figured whatever, go ahead. They estimated the job would take about 24 hours to complete. Little did I know “24 hours” meant a month and a half to them. I’m not even kidding. Every time I went in to the store to check, they yelled at me and said “there’s a guy who comes in to do the work, but he’s been just swamped lately. He’ll get it done when he gets a chance”. So 1.5 months later I receive a call, and it’s finally done. I go to pick up my guitar, and plug it in to one of their amps to check out how it sounds. It sounded like something was damaged in the guitar. I told them that there was something seriously wrong here, but they said it’s probably their amp and I should go home and check it out. I went home, plugged it in and it was messed up. It literally sounded like metal springs grinding against each other. The strangest noise I’ve ever heard from a guitar.
When I took the guitar back to them, they were incredibly rude and told me it was not their problem and the pickup was broken. So I was out $130, and left with a broken guitar. I ended up having to spend another $200 to get the whole thing back to playing condition.
I learned my lesson, and have warned all my friends against this store.
unfortunate, but i’d had a guitar in storage for a year and the fret board was a disaster.they did an excellent job cleaning that, however, they took it upon themselves to badly alter the guitar without asking us despite us being there and only explained what they’d done after it was too late. another thing about these “fixes” was that they didn’t address the problem at all! they said the action was too high the lower you got on the neck so they shaved the frets?? they also took some off the bridge, though only to the top, not where the strings rest in it. i’m a novice so i didn’t catch this in store, just paid for strings and cleaning and alterations for $40. value of guitar negatively impacted & i paid for it! nice and nice sounding 20yr old, semi acoustic fender. such a shame, and as i said before i was in store and they didn’t ask! i would get my strings changed there again, though stressing that nothing else be done without consulting me
16. Veranda Vinyl Records & Artware
Address: 221 E Main St, Streator, IL 61364 , Marshall County , Illinois , United States
A fun and interesting store. There is a great vinyl selection and some awesome art. I’ll be back!
Excellent selection
I had a reel to reel of a choir my mom and dad sang in from the 1960’s. Could not find anyplace to transfer til I saw a post from an old friend from grammar school. I sent him the reel and it exceeded expectations. I thought it would be distorted because of the age. After Jon cleaned it up it sounded crystal clear. I was able to share with my siblings. Veranda saved a cherished memory we thought would be lost forever. I would highly recommend Veranda. Great price and quick turnaround time. Thank you Jon and Veranda!
Not friendly at all. Will definitely NEVER go back…..
I would definitely avoid this place. I would have called it a store but the old man working there is rude and doesn’t care. Unless you’re a certain skin color
Rude Rude Rude. I don’t know what this old man’s problem is. He obviously doesn’t care about customer servic, The girls Next door are a million times nicer and they accept debit cards and treat you with customer respect
