If you are watching a live band most likely the sound and equipment is being supplied by Sound Logic. They are THE vehicular resource for entertainment in Arkansas and surrounding areas. Second to none and access to quality equipment no others around here have with thirty years of experience.
This is a great place to learn piano. Ms. Pam teaches in a relaxed atmosphere and chooses fun music for her students. My daughter started about 5 months ago and absolutely loves it. I can’t believe how much progress she has made in such a short time.
I’ve known Ms. Pam for many years. She taught my children piano and I could not have been happier with her teaching method. She is kind, patient and excels in her knowledge of music.
I highly recommend Ms. Pam whether it be on the education level or music. Your student will love her!
Pam is very patient and kind to my little one! She has a way of teaching that makes learning the piano fun. My little girl has learned so much in a short time!

Address: 4 Allegheny Ln, Maumelle, AR 72113 , Maumelle , Arkansas , United States
Got some neat stuff here. Older shops like this tend to have the cooler finds.
Amy and Steve are awesome. They are good, fair, honest people and they run a great shop.
I arrived at this location on Tuesday 6/2/20 at 9:32 am, and no one is here. Website and business says they are open T-Sat 9-5. I drove two hours to come to an empty location. However when they did open. They showed pretty good customer service.
Known Steve and his family a long long time and have gotten several cars and trucks from him never has he lied to me about anything
So far (for a week) I have been unable to reach them by phone. (This is probably due to our HEAVY SNOWS over the past week.) I hope to visit their store soon after the SNOWS melt. Hope they re-open?
Notorious for buying stolen items. My shed was robbed and this pawn shop has my items and are asking me to pay ridiculous price to return my stuff.
The place to go to IF you want to sell stolen items! I would NEVER buy from this pawn shop.
Lazy employees. Will not test products for you. Will sell you anything for their own benefit
7. Maumelle U Storage
Address: 101 Commerce Dr, Maumelle, AR 72113 , Maumelle , Arkansas , United States
We have used Maumelle Storage for years and have always been taken care of with respect and great friendly service. Thanks guys!
I selected Maumelle U Store for my storage facility due to its convenient location, safety, cleanliness and great staff. They continue to be very helpful. I highly recommend their facility.
Great place! Clean, safe, and incredibly kind and polite staff!
It’s nice and new, but they don’t have a restroom available if you’re moving after hours, and that’s a little bit frustrating.
I stored with them for a year and a half and it was a wonderful experience. The only issue i had was when covid hit and i didn’t have much money they wouldn’t accept partial payments so i could lower my overdue balance. The guys in the office are super nice and i like that i could access my unit at any time of the day. And it was super peaceful. All in all it was great
People in the front are awesome and friendly.
They sent me an email saying they were raising the monthly rent by another $10. They gave 2 examples of other storage places that charge more and claimed they were still the cheapest in town. There are a LOT more storage places than just these 3 in town and the others they didn’t list ARE cheaper. But all of my stuff is packed up there so I guess I just have to pay it. I could see raising it for new customers but it’s kind of crappy to do this to people who already have their belongings stored there.. and forcing them to pay this or move all of their stuff to a lower competitor..
They say you get a month free and it’s really now it’s just days. Then you have to turn around and pay the whole rent not fair at all it was never explained to me like that. I didn’t get a walk through for the truck I was just handed the keys and that was it!
Loved the location and the employees were super nice!! But with no fence around open rv storage, thieves had no problem cutting the catalytic converter off my Motorhome. Had to move to a different location

Very excited to have a music lessons studio/repair shop so close to home! The teachers are very knowledgeable and they offer a wide variety of lessons. The location is great & very convenient. They’re also the only place on this side of the river that offers guitar repair & sells strings. Great atmosphere, great people, excellent work. Highly recommend Renown.
We’re so excited to have renown music in the neighborhood! Our son has been going since they opened and absolutely loves it. He’s learned so much from his piano instructor and most importantly they keep it fun for him so he’s excited to learn. It’s a bonus when kids think their teachers are cool. Brandon Toney the owner is great and they offer lessons on all kinds of instruments. We love you guys! Keep up the good work!
Best music shop ive ever been too, with the funniest staff. Highly recommend here over the guitar center in little rock

The people are friendly n courteous. It is a nice clean place
So many instruments coustmer service was great
Very friendly.
Knowledgeable and amazing service!
In and out. Didn’t stay long. However, they had what I wanted and no one in the area complained about the half Naked Trucker with a guitar in the parking lot zoning out in his own world.
Nice, clean store with nice stuff. A helpful staff that watch u coming in and out. Slightly high priced, but good quality merchandise.
Not very much guitar stuff. Didn’t even have strap studs.
The absolute worst store ive ever been in will not be back
A few months ago, I visited Saied Music’s North Little Rock location to look into used flutes (online flutes are too hit-or-miss, I discovered, so I wanted to be able to try one before buying). Not wanting to spend a small fortune on an instrument I wasn’t sure I’d stick with, I figured used would be a safe bet.
The gentleman who was working that day showed me a Jupiter flute that had a price tag of $380 or $385 (I just distinctly remember it being in the $380 range). It had a head joint with a gold-plated lip plate that I found rather garish, but for the price, I was willing to consider it once I tried it and realized it played fairly easily. So, I went home to think on it, but I ultimately put off getting a flute for awhile.
Yesterday, I returned, and lo and behold, they had the same flute still in stock. However, this time a different guy brought it out, and the price had been removed, leaving only a partial green tag with some text on it. The man made a fairly loud show of talking to the other guy, who had originally showed it to me the first time I saw it, saying that, since it had a green tag, he could sell it for below the “book price.” He thumbed through a binder, ran his finger down a list of prices, and landed on $480. Then, he quoted me $450, saying that price was $30 below list.
I immediately thought of the scene in Legally Blonde when the clothing boutique worker pulls a tag off a dress from last season and tries to sell it to Elle for a huge mark-up, believing her to be too uninformed to know any better.
I closed the case without taking another look, then left the store without saying another word.
I lost all trust in Saied Music in that instant, and I will not return.
13. Guitar Center
Address: 12315 Chenal Pkwy A, Little Rock, AR 72211 , Maumelle , Arkansas , United States
Chris knows all, and is great at answering questions, I bought the flame top pro and it’s amazing, thanks Chris for all the follow up, you’re an asset to the team
Picked up a few things. Nice selection and helpful staff.
Customer service was great
Decent selection, good service
Good service and attention
Most of the salesman a very helpful asking you if you need help when you’re basically just browsing
I guess you need to be a musician to be worthy of help at Guitar Center. I called them earlier today because I wanted to purchase a banjo and lessons. I am not a musician and have never really played an instrument, but I have always wanted to learn to play Bluegrass on the banjo. The friendly gentlemen I spoke to on the phone (no need to mention names online) told me to come in and ask for him.
I went by there this afternoon and he said he had to leave for a lunch break, but he could show me where the banjos were located. So he pointed me to a wall of banjos and then left for his lunch break. I understand needing to take a lunch break…no worries at all…but I asked if someone else could help and supposedly someone was going to come help me.
So after standing there picking up random banjos for 20 minutes, and feeling like a total idiot, I went up to the front desk and asked for help and asked a couple of questions.
I was told he would check on my question. I walked around the store for about 10-15 minutes, always within sight of the front desk, and saw multiple people arrive and get help. I sat on a stool for a while and finally a different gentleman came up to answer my question and I said I came in to get a banjo and sign up for lessons and that I needed someone to show me the banjos and answer questions. I was interested in a nicer used one (more expensive) versus the lower-end new models. He asked me to wait a moment and he went to the desk to answer a returns questions for another sales rep. That was no problem, they are busy, but he then moved on and helped other people. I stood around for another 10 minutes or so thinking he would return. I again watched as they helped other people that not only came in after me, but even ones as they arrived through the door. And at different points in time the gentleman behind the desk was helping no one at all and even looked over at me a couple of times.
They were clearly very busy, and I do understand that. But I was ignored consistently and felt foolish. I had cash in hand and was ready to make the purchase. I was really disappointed and felt silly…like I really didn’t belong there.
I am not big on writing negative reviews, but this really bothered me so I thought I would share my experience so other people new to the music scene will at least be aware of my experience. Perhaps this was an anomaly…I just don’t know.
I can go to any major box store walk-in shop check out and leave. A guitar center I have to wait outside the door until I’m allowed to enter. They were only allowing three people at a time in the store. I will be buying online from now on. I don’t need anything guitar center has that bad.
