What a great music store! They have QUALITY used guitars, basses, pedals, and amplifiers. Their used equipment has been touched up and inspected by a master craftsman. The owner is the nicest guy you’ll meet, and the prices on the used gear are way better than you’ll find online in most places. Seems like a great place for lessons as well from what I heard when I stopped by. Musicians of NLR and surrounding areas, it’s worth the visit.
Hey! Just wanted to give a shout out to Brandon Toney of Renown Music in North Little Rock. Took my MusicMan Stingray to Brandon to do a set up. My bass came from the factory in virtually unplayable condition. Brandon was able to adjust the neck, bridge, pickup height, and intonation to put my bass into perfect playing condition with a set of new strings which I provided. And he did all this work in the space of one-hour! He thoroughly explained every adjustment he made on my bass. Brandon clearly has masterful skills when it comes to servicing guitars. And he’s a great guy! I was about ready to trade-in my MusicMan but now, after Brandon got his skillful hands on it, you couldn’t pry this bass out my clutches for any amount of money! It’s a keeper! I highly recommend Brandon to anyone in need of guitar repairs. Thanx Brandon for a job well done!
Brandon is a genius! Done magical things with my guitars!

The staff is excellent. Great place to have guitar repair and set up. The guitar tech goes beyond the call of duty to make sure everything is working perfectly.
Good selection…
Good for new strings but a small selection of equipment.
Good variety. Little bit of everything
A few months ago, I visited Saied Music’s North Little Rock location to look into used flutes (online flutes are too hit-or-miss, I discovered, so I wanted to be able to try one before buying). Not wanting to spend a small fortune on an instrument I wasn’t sure I’d stick with, I figured used would be a safe bet.
The gentleman who was working that day showed me a Jupiter flute that had a price tag of $380 or $385 (I just distinctly remember it being in the $380 range). It had a head joint with a gold-plated lip plate that I found rather garish, but for the price, I was willing to consider it once I tried it and realized it played fairly easily. So, I went home to think on it, but I ultimately put off getting a flute for awhile.
Yesterday, I returned, and lo and behold, they had the same flute still in stock. However, this time a different guy brought it out, and the price had been removed, leaving only a partial green tag with some text on it. The man made a fairly loud show of talking to the other guy, who had originally showed it to me the first time I saw it, saying that, since it had a green tag, he could sell it for below the “book price.” He thumbed through a binder, ran his finger down a list of prices, and landed on $480. Then, he quoted me $450, saying that price was $30 below list.
I immediately thought of the scene in Legally Blonde when the clothing boutique worker pulls a tag off a dress from last season and tries to sell it to Elle for a huge mark-up, believing her to be too uninformed to know any better.
I closed the case without taking another look, then left the store without saying another word.
I lost all trust in Saied Music in that instant, and I will not return.
Not very much guitar stuff. Didn’t even have strap studs.
The absolute worst store ive ever been in will not be back
I wish I could give an amazing picture right now but they are working on an 80 year old Coronet. They are taking it on and if they do as great as last time I hope to start learning to play it.
Did excellent work on my old trombone, very nice people!
Very helpful and informative
I came in with a horn to have repairs done to it. I needed to have my saxophone’s neck recorked. I needed additional repairs, but above all needed the recorking. The repairman came up, looked at the instrument brand and said he could do nothing for me because if he broke something, he would have to make a part. I thanked him and walked out. I thought by the ratings that this would be a location with skilled craftsmen, but instead feel like it’s people prone to mistakes so they can only work on standard brands and not all instruments. I’d consider calling before coming. They are the only place around for quite a distance and driving over 60 miles to be treated like this felt very awful!
Joe was very helpful and patient with all our questions.
Friendly and professional staff and services.
Great Service Very helpful and kind
Unique violin shop
I love that there’s a local place to have your stringed instruments adjusted and usually while you wait. My only complaint is that they charged me two different prices for the same service. My family is new to violin lessons and the instrument, so I can’t be absolutely sure that there was no difference…but there should be a uniform price for tuning/restringing a 1/4 sized violin. The staff is very courteous and informative. They also have a list of great string instrument instructors.
The staff here goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. The selection is top notch!! They ALWAYS have what I’m looking for. Hands down the best guitar/drum/keyboard/tin whistle/harmonica shop in central Arkansas!!!
Staff extremely knowledgeable and kind. They take the time to answer questions.
Great music store with a lot of variety and will do custome orders for you
Good selection and helpful employees
The environment was great! The atmosphere was music and I played a duet with another person
I know it’s “Guitar Center” and not “Bass Center,” but I was a little disappointed in the selections of basses and strings. People were friendly and helpful. Just didn’t have what I needed.
Store manager Brandon hates homeless people and kicks anyone out of the store who he thinks is trash. Very disrespectful and disappointing.please treat people with respect n matter what they look like.
