The board I received was a little beat up. Was having a email exchange with the sales manager Casey. He just completely stopped responding and did not follow through on what he said he was going to do and replace the board.

I’ve been trying to get Sublime Guitars to contact me regarding returning a guitar for over a week and they are not responding. I have sent an email, left voice mail messages and have sent them 2 messages on Facebook. They do not answer the phone nor have they responded to any other form of contact. I’m still waiting on them to contact me.

What an amazing group of employees this store has. 3 of my kids have instrument rentals here. Everyone is super knowledgeable and eager to help. When someone says they will research something and call me, I write it off. When they said that, they called me the next day with an awesome answer.
I may delete this review and write it again so I can give another 5 stars.
I just moved to Polk County 2 weeks ago and needed 3 guitar stands to setup my guitar room. I googled Guitar Center and found one was about 24 minutes from my home so I drove there.
I walked in and wasn’t greeted by anyone and no one asked if I wanted assistance. After a short while I found 4 or 5 guitar stands on display on shelves but not a single one had pricing displayed on the shelf. I asked a young girl who was at the register if this was a new store and they just opened up because nothing had prices displayed on the shelving and she told me no and laughed. Never asked if she could assist me.
I left Guitar Center and headed home when I noticed the Carlton Music sign on a building I was passing so I pulled into their lot and went in.
I was immediately greeted by an employee who asked if I wanted assistance. I told him what I was looking for and he walked me over to the guitar stands. We talked briefly and showed me a stand that was priced really well. I bought 3 of them. He even asked if I wanted assistance getting them to the car.
I was impressed with the family owned store, the attention and service I got there, the selection of product that exceeded the big box store’s products and the prices which were less than what I expected. They had a good selection of guitars and amps and I saw they had drums there as well. but I didn’t spend a lot of time there as I had someone waiting in my car for me.
This was a good find and Im glad I stumbled upon them by chance. I’ll definitely be back and I highly recommend them.
The Carlton’s have been deeply involved and supportive of local musicians for at least 40 years. They are musicians themselves and regularly perform. Not gonna get cheap prices…but the people and support are really great.

Wish I could’ve left zero stars. I guess customer service doesn’t exist anymore. The young girl working the counter seemed overwhelmed and when she asked the longer haired gentleman at repair for help he seemed bothered. Just needed someone to look at my clarinet I have had for 30+ years to make sure it still functioned properly. They said they could send it off to the repair shop!! What a joke. Not sure how ypu work in a music store, but know NOTHING about the instruments.
Their sales associates have the worst customer service I’ve ever seen.
After buying a very expensive clarinet. They would not buy it back after was told they would when I bought it. And it was only used 4 months, so it was in the same shape as it was sold.

I am recording artist J Rose and I have been working with producer Luis Marte for quite some time now. He is a consummate professional and is so easy to work with. He really listens to certain suggestions on the sound I’m going for with each individual track we collaborate on. Luis also offers up his own suggestions with his well trained ear that help elevate my vocals and over all sound. Being newer to the recording community, he really helped put my nerves at ease the first time I worked with him and I have been going back ever since. His studio has only top of the line equipment and it truly is amazing to watch how quickly he can different layers and basic fundamentals of track together while I’m right there in the studio. He is a true master of his craft. Some of the tracks I have recorded over have been his very own productions, which are better than good, they’re great. His packages are EXTREMELY reasonably priced. Not only do you record with him, he then goes on to mix and master the track with Top 40 radio quality! Luis has been in the industry for years, starting in the freestyle genre. Who doesn’t love freestyle? He has worked with artists such as Brenda K Starr, Ricky Vaz and 98 Degrees to name a few. I am so blessed to have been introduced to who is now not just my A+ producer, but a good friend of mine. Do yourself a favor and check out what my guy Luis Marte is all about. You won’t regret it.
Got to the studio and immediately Luis greeted me with a smile. He offered refreshments and right away we got to recording. We recorded an entire song quickly and it sounded very high quality.
The best parts about working with Luis and his studio are that he gets great sound in his studio. He has a great ear for melodies/ harmonies and he’s respectful towards your vision but also offers input on how to improve.
His prices are also fantastic! Cant wait to work again. Thank you for the experience Luis

This is a great place to be. Three of my children have been attending this school for nearly a year, and has progressed immensely. Ms. Emily teaches my daughter the viola, she is beyond patient. I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive teacher. Ms. Grace Bell teaches my son the piano, they made such a great connection in such a short time, she is what her name says… And my other son plays the saxophone and to this very day he misses Ms. Libby, his new teacher is awesome as well. The only thing I’d recommend is siblings discount, besides that I wouldn’t change a thing.
My daughter loved her teacher even if she wasn’t learning as fast as she wanted but that was on her, not the teacher. That’s why we decided to go even having 3 classes left, and your right 3 ⭐️is not enough considering your low prices and your amazing teacher.

I have my two boys (6 and 8) enrolled currently in the Rock 101 tract at School of Rock. I can’t say enough about what a great time they are having. Their teachers Mario and Will are so great with motivating them and keeping them interested in the instrument.
Best decision I’ve made in a long time. I’ve taken voice lessons for 10+ years but what Brian taught me on my first day blew my mind. He not only teaches you “how to sing” but teaches you about the anatomy of your voice, which is equally as important. I can’t wait to see how much I improve!!

Vista Audio Productions – Ron Powell, and now with the help of his daughter, Barbara Hardin, have recorded school bands, choruses, and orchestras around the state (including mine) for as long as I can remember. I’ve been teaching since 1992 and remember them from even before that when I was still a student. These recordings include individual school performances as well as district and state level events. They have always done a stellar job, are so easy to work with, and their recordings always sound fantastic. I highly recommend Vista Audio Productions!

Hello, I wanted to leave here all my frustration with this store. On August 31st I went to Guitar Center in Lakeland (45 minutes from my house) looking for a speaker, so after waiting almost 1 hour I was attended to and bought a Gemini PA-15LKII speaker . Before leaving the store, I asked the salesperson if he could test the speaker, however he told me he couldn’t test it because the store was too crowded, but I had 45 days to return the product. When I got home and opened the speaker, I had a surprise, the speaker came without the components such as the power cable, the support and without the microphone and its wire, it was not a new product. At the same time I called the store and the salesperson who answered me apologized and asked me to return the next day. When I returned the other day (another 45 minutes) the product I bought was no longer in the store, and no other similar one that I could afford, so the manager Mason, who served me very well, told me that he had two speakers of the same model in the Tampa store he saw in the system. So he gave me a card for the value of the box and told me I could go to the Tampa store to pick up the product at the store. When I got to the Tampa store (another 50 minutes of travel) the salesperson who answered me told me that he didn’t have any speakers on that model, however I explained the situation of what had happened to me, but he told me that the product was unavailable, I was SHOCKED. Even so I looked at other speakers but I chose not to take any and asked for the cancellation of my order. To my surprise the seller told me that he couldn’t cancel the order because he didn’t have the box in the store and that he would have to wait for the box to arrive at the store for him to cancel my order, again I didn’t believe it. I explained to him that the manager Mason at the Lakeland store assured me that the Tampa store had the product, but the Tampa salesman didn’t take my word for it. After much insistence I managed to get him to call Mason, so the call was made and the salesman put it on the speaker, and to his surprise (salesperson from Tampa), everything I said was true, the salespeople talked and Mason said to the seller in Tampa canceled my order, and it was done after I insisted a lot, absurd. In short, I couldn’t buy my speaker, I wasted my time on the trips I took (money), I spent my money on gasoline and the purchase money hasn’t returned to my account yet, remembering that I bought the product on debit. That same message will be put on google as a bad review unfortunately.
I don’t know why I keep coming back here. The place looks dirty and unprofessional. I went into the recording/live sound area. Floors were dirty and unswept. Barely anything was plugged in for me to try out. I couldn’t tell how much things were because there were barely any price tags. Power cords and other cabling on the floor. The icing on the cake for never coming back here is that not one person greeted me or asked if I needed help. Very unprofessional and a loss of 2 grand I was trying to spend. I’ll keep ordering from Sweetwater. I hope management sees this and makes some changes. Look around. I’m right.
