Great, relaxing spot for a glass of wine and conversation. The wine list has a nice range of familiar and unusual varietals. The proprietor listened to our preferences and offered several tastes for us to select a couple of glasses. Simple menu of cheese boards, etc. to help soak up the wine!

Very chill small community wine bar, with a customer focused vibe, explorative selection of wines…I was there on locals’ night (Thursday), but I bet it’s just as comforting every other night.
Went in there about an hour before it closed…. just sort of fumbled around looking at various things…. they got some good stuff in here…. it’s a nice little shop for anyone who lives out here on the coastal peninsula who doesn’t want to drive all the way to San Mateo or San fransico for a guitar center
Rented my baritone horn there and I love it and also rare instruments like the baritone usually music stores don’t have it or they just one but in all I like my baritone

My wife told me that this store is much more customer friendly compared to the one at Grand Ave at downtown South San Francisco even though manor music equipment may not be as complete as the other one, but the people running this store are really nice. if you need to go to the store, I suggest to call them ahead because their store hours could be tricky. In addition, if you need to borrow any musical instrument, do not go the last minute. They may be able to get you one if you give enough time. Please support this local business.
They have a wide range of instruments, just not very good quality ones. Most of the inventory is probably best suited for beginning musicians. As far as guitars go, the best one I saw was a mid-range Seagull. Most are just plywood guitars. I constantly wonder how they stay in business. Staff members seem to be friendly.
This weekend I came into Manor to pick up some sheet music for inspiration. I picked up a few older books from the back of the store, and I was surprised that they charged the original cover print price (~$20 per book) on books printed in 1995.. I should have spoken up at the time, but the more I thought about it the more I wanted to know if this was a mistake? !
Terrible attitude. Not helpful. Never go back again!

Gary and Peter were phenomenal in solving my problem of how to get my Yamaha P45 and my computer to both play through the same headphones. Their solution was elegant, simple and economical. They are rock stars!
I have a very pleasant experience with this local shop while buying a digital Yamaha piano. Gary is very knowledgeable, and he treats you well. The offer he gave me was significantly lower than any other authorized dealer in the market, (both online and local). Sorry to hear that they had to downsize their shop, but they will be my to-go stop for any future musical instrument needs.
I emailed Gary looking for a discontinued Guild bass. Like many other instrument shops, B Street did not have one in stock. Luckily, Gary went the extra step and found a used model from a different (big name) store for me. This shows Gary focused on what I, the customer wanted while not looking for a quick sale. That’s true customer service. Thanks, Gary!

Just positively the most down to earth, relaxing place. The bar is great! Love the sunsets on the patio! It’s such a great place to meet interesting people from all over while enjoying a drink around the firepits on the patio, watching the sun go down over the ocean!

Spectacular views and vibe in this famous (and supposedly haunted) restaurant. The rear patio, with fire pits and ocean views, is a great place to relax with a drink. I believe the resto provides some blankets too. The two times we’ve been here, we ate inside as it was a little too windy and chilly blankets and fire pits aside.
The food is nothing out of ordinary though. A little on the pricey side (you are paying for the views after all). I think I was more impressed with their Sunday brunch menu than the regular offerings.
It’s a fun place to hang out and eat with family and friends.

Very disappointed. Worst filet mignon I’ve ever had, I’m pretty sure it was not filet. Do NOT recommend.
Patio being dog friendly was great but the surrounding beaches all say no dogs! Food here is incredibly over priced for the amount of food you get. $18 for 2 crab cakes? $12 for clam chowder that came in a small paper bowl? and $7 for chicken on the dog menu but ended up being less than a full chicken breast. and all our food tasted good but was served in a plastic tray. Also the view from the patio overlooks the ocean but you cant see it while seated because of a large hedge that lines the patio. Would not recommend due to the high prices and paper/plastic dishes. it is dog friendly but the surrounding beaches ad trails are not so dog friendly.
This place might be a hidden gem with amazing ocean views but was very disappointed with the reception we recieved. We waited outside for more than half an hour since the place was not open for lunch ( the restaurant opens at 12pm). After entering the place, the hostess informed us that since there were several walk-ins and several people with reservations ahead of us it could be wait for 30 minutes. But at no point did she ask us if we wanted to wait nor made an attempt to take our number. She simply said that ” in the future should you wish to come here try to call ahead and make a reservation ” and was dismissive.
I know I will not come back here ,even if I am in the area.
I understand that all restaurants are busy and if they want us to make reservations it has to be made clear on their website or a sign should be put outside. The lady did not even try to be accommodating.
If I could give no stars I would. I usually refrain from putting a bad review but the hostess was so dismissive and rude, I had to put my review.

Great collection of basses, probably the largest in the U.S., friendly and knowledgeable!
One the nicest business man I have ever met I felt like Charlie Buckets in Willy Wonkas chocolate factory. He is very polite and patience. He greet us very nicely when we walk in. He probably has the best selection of new and vintage upright basses and he is very knowledgeable about what he is talking about he spent a hour and a half taking us through he inventory of over 70 different upright basses. bassist or not any musician should check this place out and also meet his dog.
Has a large selection of fine guitars and bass
I put my guitar on consignment with Steve about 2 years ago. He lent it out for long spans of time without my permission and eventually sold it without informing me. Then he said he needed the money for his own bills, so he couldn’t pay me. He’s obviously got problems that should keep anyone from trusting him. I’m taking him to small claims court over it.
