Great little breakfast spot with a great view on the upper balcony. Good food, prices are on par, and it’s a wonderful “people watching” spot as you eat and watch tourists and locals meander down the street.

My wife and I loved to come to the café for coffee or the cheese platter and drinks outside. Tonight was a sad night. We went out on the deck to find all the empty tables uncleared and a waiter sitting in one of the chairs talking on the phone and the rest of the staff somewhere in the back. We cleared our own table and watched the chatty waiter talk to a table of young ladies, eat some of their food, lay his head on the table…then let down his hair and fluffed it around the tables, this all taking place with several tables in view. The only thing gluten free on the whole menu was tortilla chips. We are not first timers and always looked forward to our stays and opportunities to chill on the deck at the café. I am afraid this might be the last time
We visited One Flight Up on a Saturday evening. Initially it was very crowded but I found an empty table in front of the singer. We were not even greeted when we came in. After about 15 minutes, the singer took a break and many people left. We were the only ones sitting inside. We could not get anyone to take our order for coffee and dessert, even when we stopped one of the staff and asked for service. After about 30 minutes of being ignored we left.

Fun, fulfilling staff, and great inventory. I always enjoy the conversations I have while hunting for the next best book. It is nice to be able to find a good mix of novels, games, and comics all in one setting. If you ever need a book the store owner can order (usually at a discount). Really thankful to have these guys in downtown :)!

Such a wonderful store! A great selection of new and gently used books at a good price. New books are sold below retail price and the used books are a fraction of the original cost. A great place to bring the whole family, everyone will find something!

Went for curbside pickup and waited, and waited, and waited. Not a good experience.
Curbside pick up is the worse, waiting time is longer than doing your own shopping. When you tried to call the hung up and tell you they are busy and food will be out soon. Ive wait 48min call and then had to wait another 16 min is unbelievable.

Great little craft beer bar. Very relaxed atmosphere. Could probably benefit from having more than 1 bartender working, but I suppose that’s just the world we live in these days. Still a good place that I enjoy.

They do not wear masks here and its concerning, they server food and have open seating, but no one wears masks and they don’t sanitize the tables after guests leave.
Overall underwhelming experience. The barista wasn’t very friendly and had no recommendations for us and after ordering an iced latte that was priced at $3.75 online we were unpleasantly surprised to find out that it was actually $7.50. Website needs to be updated if the prices are not true. The syrups were nothing spectacular and the espresso tasted burnt. This is my opinion after being a barista for two years. As you can see from their reply, they aren’t the best at dealing with customers. Clearly they looked me up on social media. Weird!

Totally rude and unkempt store they don’t even restock their products they don’t even have toilet paper or milk. I’m disappointed I even trusted a store like this just to be let down by their employees which promised me if it didn’t work they would replace it are now not keeping their words. Hope they get fired.

As a place to take a break while walking around Mount Dora, it is hard to beat this cozy little spot. They always have multiple wines available by the glass, or you can buy a bottle and have them open it for you. Craft beer is available as well. There are almost always locals about who are friendly and always willing to help out visitors, so don’t be afraid to say hi and ask a question if you need to.
If your looking for a great place to hangout and get to know the locals Maggie’s is it. We make sure to always stop in when in town. This place feels like home the moment you walk in.
Best wine shop in downtown Mount Dora. They have great service and we love the wine walks on the first and third Saturdays. Always a great time!

Late to write this review. I came here to purchase a glass of wine while on my annual trip to Mount Dora. Bartender was careless, distracted, and inattentive. So it came as no shock that she ran my card for multiple glasses of wine. She charged me for the drinks of the people standing at the bar next to me. It was stressful trying to explain to the manager what happened and get my money back. Won’t be back.
I thanked him like 3 times with no replies, no help. Guy at the bar has just a horrible attitude. I do not know if he was just tired or just down right rude. They definitely need to check their attitudes. I understand there is nothing much to do in Mt. Dora but still should be more professional when dealing with customers.

In late 2019, Kristen started sharing the stage with Kevin full-time. Since losing their live gigs and jobs to COVID-19, Kevin and Kristen started performing Livestream concerts from their home. They are also hard at work writing original material and expanding online opportunities through social media and YouTube, and now they perform music on stage and full-time! Our entire group loved their music!
They were incredible, we have had so many compliments. They played the crowd, did requests, made my daughters wedding so special. The next day they performed for our small town Prescott Daze, and were loved!
Simply awesome! Always great to see them! You can always count on a wide variety of artists and songs. I have been watching them play for many years!

This place is a lot of fun! It’s bigger than it looks and is crammed full of different antiques and collectibles. Prices vary depending on the different vendors, but overall it is a great experience. I have been several times.

I think the prices are fair. You can bring in items to sell also. Laura use to pay half of what she would be selling the item for but that is no longer true. She only offered me 20 for my lamp and when i returned to the store I noticed she was selling it for 165.00.
I would buy antiques there but I personally will not sell any more to her.

Rude staff
I have never seen a more unorganized and unprofessional place of business. This company is a bad representation of our historical Mount Dora.
Walked in here today at about 4:20 pm, the store closes at 5pm. I was shopping around and looking to purchase a few items, when at about 4:40, an employee (an older woman)abruptly tells my fiancee and I, “Were closing….the doors already locked”. This woman had no sense of politeness at all, and couldn’t even say that if we’re looking to purchase something to do it now because they’re closing. Instead, she basically tells us to get out. Mind you, the store is “open” for another 20 minutes. I put down the bunch of merchandise we were about to purchase and walked out, never to come back. Don’t come here, there are a lot of better competitors in the area. This place obviously doesn’t want to sell anything.

This place had a really cool vibe. I went there for the first time today. I got a regular medium roast coffee, which was very good. I really liked the atmosphere. The baristas were nice and I dug the music. I would definitely recommend!

First time here. The workers were friendly and helpful. All I had was a decaf coffee with milk and sugar but I enjoyed it. I drank my coffee there and the atmosphere was nice. I will go back again.

Espresso way too expensive and not a great quality. I also noticed that looking at the reviews they only respond to the higher stars and looking at the lower stars you would think they would reach out to those considering the comments.
Didn’t eat food only had hot tea but did Not get a tea bag was not asked if I wanted my tea bag & was not told I was not going to get a tea bag the hot tea was horrible tasting like milk when I asked for a tea bag to make it taste like tea I was told they didn’t have tea bags? Customers should be told first off when ordering hot tea we have no tea bags

So when I told the customer service waitress & waiter I didn’t want this because it taste bad I was Not Offered anything else to replace it not even a glass of water to take the bad taste out of my mouth for 5. Dollars kindness can take you a long way! Felt sad over this! Loud music should be lowered but nice atmosphere!
Very disappointing cold brew coffee today. If you like cold brew, I suggest serendipity brew instead. They have an excellent sweet cream cold brew and they are truly local whereas foxtail is a chain.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Make sure that you will look up EVERYTHING online. They sell donated used items for more money than you’d pay new in many cases. It’s a huge scam and all about profit. Especially if you are looking for video games. They will look up each single game and check after eBay rates and prices. Everything rare will be sent to their central just to be posted on their eBay-like website with bidding bots. Everything else in store will be raised above eBay prices and set up in a glass case upfront. The only video games you can theoretically find for a reasonable price will be sports games and games you’ll find on every other yard sale or flea market for less money.

Tyson was extremely helpful. I’ve been mourning the loss of my mom’s album collection for years, however Tyson was able to help me find a few replacements in great condition and really great prices. He’s very knowledgeable and helpful. I’m definitely coming back!
Tyson is THE MAN. Soul II Squeeze is by far my favorite record shop in Florida. From the amazing selection, the pricing, and above all, the stellar customer service. Tyson is super helpful and knowledgeable, and so generous. You can tell this store is run by someone who truly loves what they do, and it’s stores like these that make ME really love collecting vinyl records so much more.
Cassettes were a little expensive but they were worth the money

Don’t waste your time. Go to Rennigers or take a drive to Daytona Atlantic Sounds or Steve’s in Deland. This is the second attempt at this store for me. His records are over priced. If you do want to purchase Vinyl from this store definitely inspect before you buy. The record I was looking to purchase had visible scratches that I showed to him. Said he could get $20 for that all day long online. So if your purchasing online buyer beware, it might be scratched. I’ve been collecting for years and purchase a lot of vinyl. I’ll gladly pay $20 for a semi rare good condition vinyl. The record he was selling for $20 should’ve been between $2 to $5 tops in the condition it was in. Unfortunately will not be returning to this store, which really kinda sucks because I was really wanting a local music store to shop at. Also only takes cash or PayPal.

Everybody recommended Reggingers as a must-see, so we went. We had our dogs with us, so we could only go to the outside section in the back. We saw some nice vendor booths with homemade stuff, especially in the tiny houses on the right in the wooded area. Nice sellers. We walked through the entire flea market area with lots of vendors selling rusty junk. I suppose people buy this stuff or they wouldn’t be there, but I sure wasn’t interested This area is a real flea market. I suppose the indoor part would be more interesting for me. It’s probably a lot like the Red Barn flea market we have in Sarasota.

Actually have some antiques instead of low end garage sale items and trash! 117 acres and we were done in 3 hrs. The shops have nothing exciting either. If you get there early you are parked the farthest away! We drove 2 1/2 hrs and booked a room for 2 nights. Total waste of money and time! They need to see what Arcadia is doing and copy that! I went there 30 yrs ago, could not believe how far dowhill this place has gone.
Sitting here waiting for the gate to open for Extravaganza and as always, the parking spaces that are SUPPOSED to be reserved for handicapped are 99% filled by vehicles with no handicapped plate or mirror hanger. People who are either selfish or just too stupid to know what handicapped parking is. Surprising that Renningers, who rarely misses an opportunity to extract more money from visitors, has not posted signs saying vehicles parked there illegally will be booted and fined. Oh well.
