Terrible, terrible service through the years. I have my daughter’s instrument rented with them, did the same for my son a couple of weeks ago and 2 weeks have passed and he still has no instrument. His teacher hasn’t been easy on that, and the only thing they tell me after waiting almost 30 minutes on the phone for someone to pick up (third day trying to call), is that I have to wait (!!!!!). There is no communication, nothing. They don’t update, they don’t send anything. If you have nothing to do and are lucky enough for someone to pick up, you MIGHT stand a chance. Just cancelled because I don’t want anything to do with them again.

We bought our second Clavinova from Bill at Orlando store this April and received the same great reception and consideration we received several years ago when we bought our first. I don’t play the piano it is my wifes and she is very happy with everything regarding Bill and the store.
Was a wonderful experience!! We ended up purchasing a baby grand and now my children and I enjoy it every day!! Really helped us through the pandemic!
I worked with Anthony Maher in purchasing our Yamaha NU1X. He was an absolute pleasure to work with from the initial discussions about the piano all the way through the purchase and delivery. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and engaging. We are very happy with this piano. It has everything we want and it was Anthony who gave us the comfort to purchase the piano….he was right on all accounts. Delivery was quick and efficient. The guys did a great job getting the piano in the house and didn’t leave any mess. They made sure the piano was where we wanted it and working properly and they answered all questions before leaving. They were also very pleasant and easy to work with. I highly recommend working with Anthony if you are interested in learning about pianos or buying one.
Welcoming and knowledgeable salesperson. Bought Yamaha clavinova, but rep did not tell us these are made to only work with ipad. Will not work with Chromebook. Has issues with android devices. Ended up getting refurbished ipad.

Drove 50 miles one way to ask question on my Brand New CVP709GP, it was his day off, 2 weeks later am still waiting to get the call I was Promised.
Now at this point I have no Interest in hearing from him. Yamaha Webb site don’t work, suppose to have videos on how to use. I registered 3 times and can go no farther on Webb site.

I bought a piano there a 5 years ago and the gentlemen who sold it to me were very nice! Even during my first visit 7 years ago when I was just browsing and ended up not buying right then and there they allowed me to test pianos and look around without impatience. I went in again recently and the new gentleman there was rather rude when I said I just wanted to browse, saying he was there to sell pianos. How do you expect people to buy if they can’t look around or test? Not sure if that was just a joke gone wrong, but the other two gentlemen from a few years ago were much nicer.

You can rent for the short and long term too. The place is well-organized and neat. The cooperative and friendly staff is always ready for quality service. Fast follow-up over the call, and email. All instruments are very well maintained. Restroom facility available and big space parking.
My friend uses the valve oil from here to grease his tuba. He is very satisfied with the product and enjoys it. He’s swore to never buy valve oil from anywhere else until his last days.

My daughter and granddaughter came into this store and were met by a woman who told them in a not so friendly way that they couldn’t be in the store without wearing a mask. Which is no problem at all and they were more than happy to do so, however not one single employee was wearing a mask! And they had all the instruments hanging up so high no one can reach them. My granddaughter is in her school band, plays the flute, violin and ukulele and the treatment they got in this store should be a warning!
They stop charging my card for unknown reason and reported it to the credit bureau. Veritas is very shady I fully regret getting an instrument from this place .
Horrible service! Called to find out if they had flip folder pages in stock and the girl had no idea what I was talking about. I explained and she put me on hold for 5 minutes and then hung up on me. I called back and was put on hold another 3 minutes so I called back and asked for Manager. I was told Manager was busy. I explained what happened and asked another girl who had answered if they had them in stock and she said she didn’t think so. I asked her if she could check their inventory and she said she’d try. What? Try? All 3 girls I came in contact with over the phone were clueless and didn’t seem to care. Go to SAM ASH you will get top rated service and all employees are knowledgeable.

Excellent store and well stocked with so many options. I spent hours here playing different guitars trying to make a very important decision on a very high end Les Paul guitar. Staff was super friendly and helpful even when the store got really busy. I’m super stoked shopping here.

These guys tried re-stringing my guitar and they made my strings mute and makes a buzz and ringing sound worst re -string I had to add a star I it wouldn’t let me post.
This place has an autopay that is not advertised, so when I thought that I only payed for 4 lessons I ended up charged for more without knowing until I saw it in my bank account. When I called the store manager, Molly, told me that I should have known it renews and that it’s my fault, not giving me a refund for classes I did not attend. Cancelling autopay is also not easy and I’m in the process of having my bank close the hose on these people. They are extremely greedy! The lessons were also not great as my 30m classes were often spent with the person being late and talking about politics. Do not come here! And the customer service is terrible!!
They were offering on Facebook free guitar lesson for women in the community, but fake advertising once you get there nobody knows about it

I am giving this a three-star because of this particular visit normally Best Buys a great place to go I have spent thousands there they have one of the best online as far as being able to compare items and do research on this trip however me and my friend were looking for tablets and when we went to the tablet section the person that came to help us I would ask him questions about the Android tablets he’s like I don’t really know I use Mac and tell you about an iPad we weren’t looking for iPads so the person that was over the tablet section actually did nothing to help but actually get in the way and was unable to answer any questions whatsoever

Se quer deram a possibilidade que iriam trazer o produto até o local. Atendimento bem fraco, além do que eles cobram oito dólares para aplicar película de celular, mesmo comprado na própria loja. Sinceramente achei um absurdo de caro. Deveria ser gratuito! Enfim, volto somente se inexistir outras opções.

I won’t go anywhere else for my music needs. I bought a $2800 drum set. Initially they blundered on my order, but when it was pointed out, they owned their mistake and offered to make things right. And they did! I love that they didn’t make excuses and just said, “we blew it.” And they went above and beyond in making me happy. I respect and appreciate that. I highly recommend this store for people at any level of musicianship.

The only thing I have against them was, if you were going to buy a Gibson great, but if you wanted any other brand of guitar your options were very limited.
What ever happened to customer service? We made a 45 minute out-of-the-way stop while on vacation because we don’t have a Sam Ash where we live (only Guitar Center). The employees ignore you and then when you finally flag one down for assistance they act like you’re bothering them. They have a decent selection of guitars that you can’t try out in the store because you can’t get any help.
Walked into the store on a Saturday to ask about external mic’s for my DSLR camera and they were very helpful, but only showed me one that was a little too pricey for a beginner like me. I walked out and thought about it, and decided to call them (instead of driving back down to the store) to confirm if they have any similar mic’s for a cheaper price. The receptionist connected me to their live sound department, but they were “too busy” to help at the moment and would call me back “in 10 to 20 minutes.” I received a call about 2 hours later at around 5:30pm, which I missed because of dinner with my family. I called back the next day, the receptionist tried connecting me with their live sound department 3 times, but nobody picked up at all. The receptionist said they must be “too busy” to take a call and he could leave a note with them. They must not have received the note because it’s been two days and still no call back. So I call again this morning, 15 minutes after they opened, and the same receptionist could connect me to the live sound department if I want, but nobody is there. “Traffic can be bad, which might be why they’re late for work” he says. I told him it’s been very challenging to find an answer to my simple question, and their store should be able to answer it over the phone, so maybe I could speak with a manager about the issue. He said he would connect me, and after a minute on hold, the music ended and all I heard was very loud fuzz. I hung up, am now writing this review, and will never be shopping at or recommending Sam Ash to anyone ever again.
I went to get my guitar and other gear to prep for a show. They only uses credit so my bank freaked out. I then put everything on layaway because that was the only option he gave me. Went back less than a week later and the same card issue happened when i swipped my card. Called my bank and it was clear.… went to swipe again and then was told that they have a cheaper guitar in stock somewhere that i could pay for and get shipped. I was inclined to say no due to my gig tomorrow. I was then told that they SOLD THE GUITAR. Idk how layaway works but it was so frustrating that i drove all the way out there for what?! The guy was nice and gave me 12 dollars off the final total of 500 dollars.

Honestly the worst mistake I made was not going here first. I have been wanting to learn violin and have been looking for a quality violin at a lower price point to learn on. Lily immediately jumped in to help me. She got me set up with a violin and and stickers for finger placement, gave me LOTS of pointers with tuning and bow care, and just really went above and beyond to set me up for success as much as possible. I left feeling completely ready to dive into learning. Great quality instrument, great selection of instruments and accessories, and the best service I have ever experienced in any situation ever. I would rate 100 stars if I could. Thank you Lily!!!
Great experience!! Looking for midi cable and was shown and explained the options quickly and with knowledge. Then the associate, Orlando asked me about what I was doing musically and offered his expertise in answering any questions I may have. Also invited me to a Saturday class. Thanks Sam Ash and Orlando, for making my shoppping experience great. I will definitely return.
The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but once inside the selection is good. Watch for an occasional used bargain and check out the monthly sales.

I walked into the store..immediately 3 sales associates approached me asking if i needed help finding anything..this irritates me..makes me feel like a criminal, or someone who is going to steal..I was quite pleasant with them, thanked them for the offer, picked up a set of strings and made my way to the checkout..I stood at the abandoned register for almost 10 minutes when finally a sales person who spoke very poor english approaches me and asks”Are you being helped” This angered me even more..”Tell me sir, ,Does it look like i have been helped?”…AND HE WALKED AWAY !!! There is a gentleman at this store namef Wally , He came over, apologized to me and helped me very quickly with professionalism and courtesy..Wally is a credit to this store,,the others are not.
I had the most terrible experience as I was looking at a guitar that I would like to buy I had an employee come up to me and say you’re in my way and you’re doing something you’re not supposed to be doing which all I was doing was testing the guitar playing the guitar to see if I like to buy it so I stuck the guitar in his face and told him here if I’m in your way please let me leave and I would take my business elsewhere
Eh, went there looking for cables and help, stood in an almost empty store waiting for upwards of 20-25 minutes for anyone to help me and nothing. Finally got help, not that impressed, will probably shop online from now on

Selection is great, but customer service could be better in that I waited for 15 minutes before I had to interrupt a conversation to get service and then the young man who helped me with my purchase to the truck seemed like someone was forcing him to do his job.
Usually enjoy going into Guitar Center, however my most recent trip I needed headphones… There was no employee anywhere around to help so I spent about an hour reviewing online reviews about each headphone I was looking at and never once was approached for help. When I finally made my choice, the checkout line was disorganized and employees were randomly choosing who to help instead of going by who was next

Poor selection of guitars, guitar amps, etc…and disorganized…The warranty and service plan you buy is honored but they take up to a week at least. Even a simple change of strings takes 2 days at least…

Store hours say 10 but this is the 3rd time I’ve been there and they haven’t even showed up waited about an hour this morning and nothing bad for business if you can’t make your posted opening time don’t post one. Probably saw a couple hundred dollars come and go cause no one was there. Great store great selection and Jimmy is the bomb but need to get the opening thing together.

After a very disappointing experience at another Central Florida music shop, my daughter and I visited Music Shack in hopes of finding her a clarinet. What an outstanding experience!
Music Shack is a small, family-owned musical instruments shop in a Longwood strip plaza. Aptly named, the ‘Shack’ is not a big place, but the service you will receive here far surpasses any lack of variety in their selections.
Amelia was the store’s representative who assisted my daughter and I. She was both knowledgable and patient as we asked our 101 “newbie” questions about clarinets, rental agreements and reeds. In the end, I have a happy daughter because of Music Shack and that makes me a happy Dad. I look forward to many future visits over the years to come.

I purchased music here. It was OK.
Went for sax repair. Took about 20 minutes just to drop off sax and purchase one item. Sax repair was overpriced and only partially complete. Was partially ready two days after promised. Phil, who does the repair kindly explained to me that it was my fault the repair was not complete and that for an additional fee he would complete the repair. Worst customer experience I’ve had in a very long time. Will not be back.

Awful customer service. Sons middle school tried to push this business for band rentals. I called early on a business morning and Received their voicemail. I left a message and it’s been days where no one could handle to spend a few minutes to contact me back. I rather bring my money elsewhere.
Edited to respond to owner. Yes I’m aware everywhere is short staffed due to Covid. That’s why I was ok with waiting DAYS for a response but never got one. You did not hear my voicemail yesterday because like I said , I left it last week and have gone DAYS without the business following up. I was patient and understood that due to Covid I might not get anyone to answer their business phone immediately. I waited DAYS for the business to be able to catch up and respond to me but was left in the dark. If I can’t get a question answered before handing over my money, why would I trust that once you have my business I could get through to you for any rental issues in the future. Like I said I will seek other places.
