Miles was excellent! His repair service and communication were both top notch. I was in town for a gig, in need of an emergency repair, and he was able to help me out in a pinch. I highly recommend contacting him with any repair needs.
Adam was amazing. He fixed me right up!

The best on the south side for lessons, instrument purchases, and repair. Friendly and professional service. Great music shops are becoming hard to find. Love it
Jake’s Music is terrific! The service is very high quality. When we need instrument repairs and accessories, we go to Jake’s. Thank you, Jake!!!
Very helpful with my flute. He is a great guy overall. Very friendly environment and feels very welcoming!
Very nice, good pricing and repairs done in a very timely fashion.
I went in to get repairs on my son’s saxophone. Jake was a nice guy, I thought the repairs were expensive.
Great neighborhood repair shop.
Never got a call back. Guess they don’t want my money for repairing a clarinet v
I’M ADDING THIS FOR THE STORE TO RESPOND: THERE’S NO INDICATION THAT HOURS ARE “BY APPOINTMENT ONLY” UNTIL YOU DRIVE ACROSS TOWN. PLEASE FIX THIS. THANK YOU

St Cajetin Grammer school choir came in for an amazing recording session.. A 6 song cd is in the works.. Great job kids!
Love renting movies here and getting recommendations. Always friendly and helpful.
Well what can I say about these guys, they are awesome. Like family! They tend to the need and the better of the client, then bring out the best in the client to put the best project forward. Thanks guys! You rock! Literally!
Rossi Music is a neighborhood gem! I really like that now there is vinyl records for sale with a diverse selection. Thank you for that! Plus the owners and front guy are cool.
Great place for supplies, sheet music, lessons and advice
Rossi Music is what a music store should be with a both passionate and knowledgeable staff.
SUZAN M.O’Rourke wrote on 1/19/2019 I visited Rossi’s in the Fall of 2018 and looked at a variety of instruments but seems to have a shared phone number with Little Company of Mary Hospital aproximately 1 or 1.5 miles east on 95th street. Unfortunate use of a beautifil web site The store offers sheet music and new snd used rental /purchase of instruments.
I visited this place for sheet music. The songs I wanted were found online and promptly printed for my purchase.
This place claims to offer guitar repairs. So i brought in a Gibson LP Custom that simply needed to be re-wired. The pickups were already installed all that was needed was to wire it up and solder it all together. A nice clean pallet to work with.
3 weeks in, I call and was told, We are waiting on parts! Ok? So i decided to buy a wiring kit offline for 100.00 and drop it off. Took me 1 day to get the parts, Took them 3 weeks and they were still waiting for wires and volume pots? Really?
So they had all brand new parts, wires, etc that i purchased myself. Once again, A nice clean slate to work with, Everything was brand new and clean, So wiring and soldering should have went smooth and looked good.
Another week later, I call and ask if its ready, Yeah! Come get it! So i guess they dont call people when instruments are ready for pickup?
I pick it up and bring it home, Plug it in and hear the worst noise ever.. The output of the pickups was all wrong. I have never heard a guitar sound this bad. I look inside and was shocked at the job!! Wires twisted together just hanging there. Soldering burnt thru the brand new pots! This was HORRIBLE!
I call him about it and he said, Oh well i plugged it in and the pickups had sound? Your kidding me right?
I could have brought it back for him to “fix” but after looking at what he did to a brand new wiring kit, Its best to keep guitars far far away from this guy. PLEASE if you have a guitar that is halfway decent and needs a setup, pickup swap or anything that requires a brain, Please take it elsewhere! This place is far from professional.
My son was taking lessons and love it! I paid for his classes in advance and was told that I didn’t and was expected to repay for my son to continue lessons. Advice if you decide to use their service take your own calender and make sure a teacher sign off the day he gave lessons. This will help you keep up for when the teacher cancels for the days you paid for.
Bad customer service, dude with long hair gave me attitude and had a overall bad vibe
Fantastic tuners! Incredible precision and accuracy! The clip-on models are great for live performers. As a guitar player I used a cheap tuner for a long time, but since I switched over to a Peterson I’ve never regretted it for a minute. These tuners are the absolute gold standard for quality and detail. 100% worth every penny!
Just got my first strobe tuner and what a difference. I’ve been playing guitar for over thirty years and have had probably an equal number of guitar tuners. Well this will be the last one I ever purchase because I don’t think I’ll ever use anything but a Peterson strobe. A guitar tuned this accurately is just a pleasure to play.
These are stellar tuners. Well worth the money. I’m not sure my guitar had ever really properly been tuned before.
What’s more, the customer service is just top notch. I broke a tuner (totally my fault), and it turns out that they actually do repairs (who does that any more?). Really fantastic company, really fantastic product.
Couldn’t find a parking spot or entry door.

A great place to shop for old music love shopping there
They always find the old music!
Great little indie record store. Support them please! Not many of these left in the world!
I’m more of an indie fan, so the huge amount of old records was a little disappointing to me. Those looking for stuff from the 70s and 80s would love this place
Anything past 1990 is seemingly lost.
Never knew this was in the area. Great prices and take some time to look for what u want. You’d be surprised with what u find. One record is 5 bucks and anything in a collection is 3 bucks each per record. Definitely worth the trip!
So.much.stuff!
I dont know is it is cool or clutter
Unorganized and a strong musty moldy smell. Overpriced scratched LPs. Ridiculously overpriced used stereo equipment. Huge selection of records but good luck finding anything in decent shape except the new records in the front of the store.
Tried to offer me $10 for over100 records lying saying they had mold I took them down the street to his competitor and got over $300
The store is great but Randy was very rude. I have been a customer since 1973 but Ol’ Randy has gone off the rails since then. He called me a “zest fest” which I did not appreciate. It was very uncalled for. I am not a zest fest.
We definitely recommend this place.
Our son has been taking piano lessons for the past few months through Zoom class, and we are more than happy with Mr. Michael’s level of knowledge and professionalism.
Our son has already learned a lot and is always looking forward to his class.
My daughters have taken piano lessons with Harvest Music Studio this past year and they both learned so much! They enjoyed their lessons and looked forward to piano time. The teacher was open to help them learn to play songs they liked from movies they have watched and they were so happy to sing along or show friends and family members when they learned the pieces in the piano. This is dedicated, talented, and very patient piano instruction and I totally recommend it!

Ms. Hill is an amazing teacher. As a senior citizen, taking on new challenges can be daunting. However, Ms. Hill has the unique ability to relate to how you learn, and capitalize on that. She will start where you are in order to take you where you want to go!
I began my journey at the Music Scene as a voice student. I’ve since added piano, which I’d never played before. The Music Scene has opened new doors, and I am so enjoying this journey with Anisha Hill as the leader.
For as long as I can remember, it has always been my lifelong dream to play the piano. After retirement, I set out to follow my dream and was Blessed to meet an amazing music teacher who is the founder and owner of The Music Scene, Mrs. Anisha Hill. Her professionalism and patience for us seniors are absolutely stunning. Taking piano lessons at The Music Scene has been such an awarding experience. No longer do I watch others play the piano and wish I could play. I am now reading and playing music on my favorite instrument, the piano at my favorite place, The Music Scene under my favorite teacher, Mrs. Anisha Hill. This is the place to be! Five stars all the way!!!
I have always enjoyed music. Mrs Hill is phenomenal. I refuse to accept instructions from anyone else. She is truly a blessing. I would recommend this class to anyone.

Dope! Nice selection. Cool people. I’ll definitely be back to pick up a few more albums.
Beautiful quaint little shop. Finally another location to dig on the further Southside. Owners Mallory and Chantala are awesome. Don’t miss this one. Records were super clean and fairly priced. Especially in the $1 bins.
