This is my goto music store. There aren’t many in Lakeland and they have always had what I need. I have purchased instruments and had guitars repaired there. I am very happy with their service. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

I have to say this is one of the better music stores I’ve ever been to family-owned and all the employees know what they’re talking about bought a acoustic guitar Yamaha Traveler and it was priced 15 cheaper than I could find it anywhere else including Amazon .. but I have to say that the employees were what made that experience the best . I definitely recommend this place .

There isn’t a lot of product to choose from for purchasing. Hello always sitting around and the one that was waiting on us didn’t seem to have a lot of knowledge about their equipment or supplies

Customer service didn’t know how to fi d piano music I needed to purchase.

Wish I could’ve left zero stars. I guess customer service doesn’t exist anymore. The young girl working the counter seemed overwhelmed and when she asked the longer haired gentleman at repair for help he seemed bothered. Just needed someone to look at my clarinet I have had for 30+ years to make sure it still functioned properly. They said they could send it off to the repair shop!! What a joke. Not sure how ypu work in a music store, but know NOTHING about the instruments.

Upon entering, a bald head older male with glasses shot up to ask if I needed help (never mentioned his name). I asked about an instrument since he was the first one up. The guy was short with answers and giving a vibe that he did not want to attend me, throwing a book down back and forth. I watched another gentlemen’s with longer hair pull the same book out and explain in detail with people very nicely. I informed that guy, we were new to this experience and were recommended there by a local music teacher. The guy kept leaving me to go assist other customers, get on his phone to verify our information, stopping to call someone to ask for help and told me if I don’t provide a reference he will charge me a $200 deposit. I was forced to call a reference and put someone down on paper I did not want to. Then the guy left me to decide…

After being alone for a while, another gentlemen came to help & was a great. I explained the situation and how I was feeling. He apologized for the other guy and stated, “I’m sorry for him, that’s just his personality”. I stated to the new guy, he should know if he doesn’t want to fully assist a person and immediately ask another associate to help. He agreed. When the new guy asked the old guy if he already verified my information, he lied and told him no. That’s when I got upset and asked, why he lie like that?

Being a single small business owner for 20 years, a husband, father and grandfather I understand protocol/business. I felt discriminated by this guy & his demeanor, skepticism and unfair treatment which is a huge concern for me. We rented the D grade instrument and left …

After discussing with my wife, we found an A grade instrument and a trumpet and paid cash for them and drove 4 hours to go pick it up. Monday was Labor Day so we didn’t visit the store to return the instrument. I visited the location today to return the saxophone because my wife and I made a decision not to do business with people like RP… RP is the bald guys name I learned today…

Today, I was returning the instrument. Matt was the gentleman that was helping me today. In speaking with Matt, the bald head guy “RP” took it upon himself to continually and rudely interject into the conversation. Stating he needs to call the corporate office to verify return policy. As I was asking Matt questions for clarity, RP took it upon hisself to keep answering for Matt and give me a card when I can return the instrument. I asked RP to excuse hisself from our conversation and allow me to deal with Matt. He rudely stated, go ahead and finish with him and I will write the notes on his file.

As a State Official for 6 years, this gives me the indication that RP wants to attempt control the narrative with our story now and I’m on the defensive side of this situation. Even after being asked not to interject with my conversations, RP doesn’t seem to understand how I’m feeling at this point…

So, from RP calling corporate, I now know there is one & find myself calling the corporate office and spoke with Glen. Glen is working to make things right and once again, on another business day, apologized for the RP’s behavior!

For the guys that are picking up the scraps for RP, I’m giving a 2 Star Rating.

RP needs training on empathy, customers service & how to discern when NOT to service a customer AKA stay out of it! I hope he takes the courses to become better at what he does someday. We forgive you buddy, we just won’t ever do business with you!

This far from community help these woman that answer the phone are quick to send you to someone they know aren’t in or definitely won’t answer the phone but you hear their friends bragging about how they’re bills are paid? Where are these community leaders looks like they need the help of Grady Judd

I am very happy to hear that the senior center is moving and even happier to hear that they are supposed to be getting a whole new crew to run the place. The people that have been operating this place are extremely rude and racist towards the white elderly people who are just looking for a place to hang out and share a meal, a cup of coffee and hopefully make a friend. This is no place for that kind of behavior. They harass people until they don’t want to go there anymore. I have sincere hope that this will become a center that is there for ALL of our seniors and not just a hangout for seniors who want to behave like thugs.

A staff from a church and my property manager and I contacted Mulberry Community Service Center last week. A staff told all of us that they can help me with rent assistance. I explained to the person on the phone what happened how a scammer has my bank information impersonated me, logged into my bank account online reversed payments that I made to Toyota and Direct auto for February and March total $1190.93. I filed a claim with Chase that I didnt do it. Chase Bank paid back the merchants. Thought the bank wouldnt charge me. Chase Bank kept all my direct deposits to cover the money paid to the metchants.
Anyways, I went to that MCSC , brought the documents requested. Only I was shamed and put down by the staff there. Katie or Kathy lied that she never promised to help or asked me to bring in documents. They told the property manager and the church member the same thing.
That woman was focused more on that I made money but not the fact that I’m getting evicted and that the bank took my earned income due to the scam. She went on all over my bank statement about direct deposits made to my accounts two months ago. Yeah I used the income to pay rent for March, April, on top of that my car payment and auto imsurance, gas and food.
I took my documents and left as I was having a panic attack. Thank you for causing me more stressed. I got panic attack on the way home yesterday. Being traumatized by scam, and getting evicted have already caused me depressed only to get shamed by these women. I hope to find out about their donors. These people arr very racist and discriminate those seeking help. Supposebly they are christians?
Learn about trauma informed and practice humility. That woman at the center was rather argumentive and racist than being of help. Thank you for my panic attack.

1st the door wouldn’t open,
2nd there was no hand sanitizer in the despenser,
Lastly i got my hands soaped up in the restroom and then the water wouldn’t come on.

Walmart has too many products out of stock. Zero customer service.

Do NOT order grocery pickup have done this three times and each time I’ve waited over a half hour….

This is my favorite store ever. Their prices are low! Their employees are so kind! They go above and beyond what their job asks them to do and I am so grateful that I live close to them. They have gotten to know my boys and not a day goes by that they dont acknowlege them every single time we come here. It’s very nice to know there are still good hearted trusted people around here. They have been a godsend for me. They are building onto their kitchen due to great hot lunch and dinner meals and they cook for discount prices and they are also building a liquor store for their customers that would benefit from that since they couldnt keep up with the supply and demand of every individual that comes here. That’s how much they cater to their customers!! This place is an all out wonderful place even to come purchase things that you may run out of in an emergency or if you’re like me and dont want to deal with Walmart and their parking for just a few things. Unlike any other convenient store, this sunoco has great prices! I can purchase almost every household need for only $1.49!!!!!! That amazes me and the parking is easy as well as the route to get here is easy and easily accessible with even a turn lane for this store so be sure if your in the area to come say hi to these wonderful workers!!! Ik I enjoy my coffee their as well as the people sitting at the benches they have outside for u to relax and scratch off your winning lottery tickets they sell here and have many winners I may add.

A Google search for ethenol-free gasoline indicated that they have it here…but, they do not!

Today is Sunday 9/17. I just priced a gallon
of Zephyrhills water – $ 1.99. A day or two prior to Irma they charged us $ 3.30 a gallon. Not good! Next stop – Atty Gen. Pam Bondi.

Very disappointed. Before the expansion, their swai and chicken was priced lower. Now, they’ve raised their prices, I think twice on the chicken. In addition, I see the sizes of the pieces have gotten smaller. I also disliked that the clerk did not know English and greeted me in Spanish upon entering. The manager was very dismissive of my questions concerning different prices posted in different places for the same item. Of course he charged me the higher price.

Convenient location but I’ll plan accordingly and pass by them from now on. Too many better options.

Over all experience was pretty good, busy store, it was clean, prices fair but the only problem was there was 1 cashier and a long line.

Floor associate. A young girl seemed agitated when I asked if they had a specific cup. Then had more of an attitude when the manager called her to the front to help check out customers.

My son had the bridge on his violin fixed here. Great service. Very accommodating. I rent a violin and it’s half way paid off but I would have purchased one here at a fraction of the cost had I realized how much I’d save.

Jimmy’s is the real deal. TONS of rare and vintage gear. Jimmy is incredibly fair on trades and a pleasure to deal with.

This place is incredible. Lots of great vintage instruments at very reasonable prices. You can also find some great bargains that Jimmy has taken in on trade. Jimmy he is awesome, salt-of-the-earth, old school. Got a discount off a very reasonable price without even asking for it. I will be back again and again and I’m bringing friends.

Can’t say enough good things about Jimmy and his shop. He is always bringing in amazing gear. Contrast that with buying vintage gear online which sucks because you never know what you are getting. At Jimmy’s, you can put your hands on it, inspect it, play it, listen to it and prices are usually better than online too. It’s a great experience. We are really lucky to have his shop here in central Florida.

Jimmy’s has a great selection of used guitars and amps; many Les Pauls, Strats, Teles plus many acoustics. He also has old Fender and Marshall amps, both old tube amps and newer ss amps.

Great store! Friendly warm atmosphere, I highly recommend this store.

I used to like this place but none of the employees or customers are wearing masks. Pretty messed up to wilfully endanger the community but that’s Auburndale for you.

I felt like I was bothering the owner because I was interested in guitars under $500……..

I have done many transactions with Jimmy’s vintage music. I recently traded him a brand new Eric Johnson Stratocaster for a 1965 Gibson es 125. The Gibson had high action and needed to have the neck reset at a cost of $400, so he said.
I took the guitar from Florida to Nashville Tennessee to a luthier who says not only is the neck joint destroyed but the neck has a crack in it from over tightening the truss rod and the guitar has been in a fire. I am out $2,000 because of this.
I will not be going back to Jimmy’s vintage music at any cost.
I’m always up front with anything and everything that I sell and I let people know what the issues are.
I feel I’ve been completely screwed over in this transaction and I am not happy. When I texted Jimmy he called me screaming obscenities as if I had done something wrong.
There are a lot of other places to buy instruments other than someone lack of integrity.

I absolutely love this store. I’m treated with utmost respect when I go in there. Each team member is always accommodating my needs like when I want to try out a piece of equipment or play a new instrument. Love those guys so much more then they’ll ever know.

My church dropped off an electric drum set to be refurbished and now they say they can’t find it. All that can be found is a pedal. How does a music store lose a whole drum set? BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a 3/4 violin from them for $417.00. My son is no longer interested in playing so I took it in to sell back to them. When I bought the instrument it was classified as good condition and I was told at the store it is still in good condition. They offered me $40.

Unknowledgable staff, small selection on ukuleles and ukulele accessories, and felt like I imposed when I asked the staff a question.

Purchased a guitar amp online used but when I received it didn’t come with a power cord. If a product they are selling don’t come with all its components then it should be noted on the website in the description.

This store suffers from the atrocious, retail-killing lack of leadership.

For the first time in my life, a store manager successfully blamed his “new associate,” (who misplaced the equipment), night shift manager (who failed to inform me that my gear was found), and—believe it or not—the customer. (Me! O_o)

This man’s condensending tone throughout our exchange was only topped by his patronizing pandering after realizing he’d fail every single customer satisfaction and service rule when his staff massively dropped the ball on caring for paying customers.

The event?

Me literally waiting for an hour—with my 5-year-old child—as poor tech man searched all over the store FOR MY LOST GUITAR in complete embarrassment and disbelief.

Mike, the tech man, was a total gentleman. I’m saddened that his talents aren’t match by a true leader in management. And to the new closing man, I’m sorry you weren’t properly trained, then thrown under a train.

My review to you today is to stay away from this establishment until the corporation does some form of training to elevate this management personnel to tolerable levels.

We had a wonderful experience with this company. The young man who came to set-up our waterslide was such kind, good worker. Our party was a huge success because of this product. Our communication before and after the event has been good. Their timing is just what they say it will be for drop-off and pick-up.

Every time I visit the store I find a treasure trove!! And I have not even visited the “home” store next door yet!

Love this little place. Never know what you’ll find.

The prices are good, but because it’s a small store the selections are limited (most of the merchandise wouldn’t appeal to younger people). The workers are pleasant.

I showed up at 5:27 and the second I walk in, I’m greeted by an annoyed “We’re closed sir…”, because they close at 5:30. I tell them oh, Google has you listed as being open until 6; (laughing) “Google is wrong”.
I’ve controlled Google times and dates before, it’s up yo you, the business owner to inform Google, so it’s your fault if it’s wrong. I like to stop in at thrift shops inbetween sales appointments as my job sends me all over and that is the worst thrift store experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been in open thrift stores with no ac. As I write this, 5:33, lights still on, open sign still hung. I hate businesses who don’t engage customers. You could’ve politely given me 5 minutes to do a quick look around, but instead you chose to go the rude abrupt route, not really gaining anything other than a bad review and a lost customer.

I had the pleasure of checking out this really cool little shop located in beautiful historic down town Plant City. The owner was the nicest man. There is a woman who displays and sells some AMAZING artwork there, being an artist myself the owner and I talked for what felt like forever about art and the uniqueness of this particular artists style. I stopped there for guitar strings but stayed longer for the artwork and the wonderful conversation. I highly recommend this place. I will be a returning customer for sure!!

The staff is amazing! Everyone I’ve interacted with has been kind and very informative. Michael always offers solutions to help with repairs and the price is fair.

Wasn’t at all like the pictures online. Only a handful of guitars, some cables, strings, and picks. They did say they were going through a remodel but it looked like it was more geared to other art and not so much music. The staff on hand were very friendly though.

currently in dispute with them over music lessons, and billing. My wife had to threaten with criminal fraud charges to get a call back from the manager. They picked up and moved in the middle of the night from one side of town to the other no notice not sign in window just gone. I did not find out till several weeks later what the new address was when they TEXT me about changing the lesson time.
The manager in talking with my wife said we show her signed in 6 times in January, she only went on Tuesdays and last i check there was only 4 in the month, so he is confused or some one is bad at book keeping.

I drove two and half hours to support a small business only to realize they had the wrong listing on their site. I called before I left to make sure they had it. The owner was very rude and tried to sell me a used floor model for over what the listing was. Amazon is not the problem its small business owners not caring to connect with customers.

First off someone has been deleting any negative reviews here. Second I was very dissatisfied with their knowledge and the instruments I purchased to put it in a simple statement I basically got ripped off by them. I would not recommend them under any circumstances. I have been a musician for over 40 years this is the only music store that I have ever put a negative review on that should be telling you something there. They do not have the knowledge needed to do any repairs a good chunk of their instruments or substandard they are also selling instruments new that are actually shop seconds in other words stuff that could be sold normally as new because of manufacturer problems. And if you happen to get one of these you’re tough out of luck and that was exactly what happened with me I have been majorly screwed over by this store and I’m speaking this from a very experienced musician
