I bought a limited edition Gibson sg,and these guys really bent over backwards to give me the best possible deal on my trade in..I’ll never go back to rip off guitar center,I’d rather give my business to the smaller ma&pa shop because the people there are very knowledgeable and top notch..
Great experience working with Mike and Billy on selling some instruments that we no longer used. Thank you.
Love it
O hope I can work there as a greeter some day
As always large selection of stuff but pricey.
The staff are super helpful and friendly. The store needs remodeling, very drab decor not bright or inviting.
I was on hold FOREVER, and it was super annoying.
Sam ash sale person did a terrible job with me
My experience with Sam ash music was very bad there service down right sucks there staff is not business oriented what so ever they have no clue in what there looking at I would strongly recommend guitar center because they are the real deal located off RT 1 orange CT thank you
2. Acoustic Music
Address: 4 Maple St, Chester, CT 06412 , Navarcles , Connecticut , United States
Great staff! Walked out with the best guitar I’ve ever played (let alone owned)
I love this store. Ian and Dan are very knowledgeable and made my shopping experience one to remember. I was able try many different guitars and was able to find the guitar that was right for me.
if you play guitar and enjoy finer instruments you got to stop in…. the best selection of quality acoustic guitars and a few electrics too for those who like to plug in. They will also match Sweetwater as well. So if you need a new instrument stop in and support a local shop.Very knowledgeable staff as well.
Had a guitar cable when I needed it.
No prices listed
Thé Owners are lousy business
Not many mandolins
3. Bethel Music Center – Instrument Sales, Rentals, Lessons and Repairs
Address: 273 Greenwood Ave #101, Bethel, CT 06801 , Navarcles , Connecticut , United States
Staff is friendly and helpful! Bought a used violin for my granddaughter, brought it back to trade it in, was given a fair trade in price, will be picking out a new used one!
My go to music store for over 10 years! As a music instructor, I need a place that I can rely on to stock the supplies that I frequently use. Books, strings, sticks, picks; they always have what I need. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly, it’s a great environment for learning, and they can repair just about anything. I always trust them with my instruments and have been very pleased with the work they have done. Try them out, you won’t be disappointed!
Instrument rentals are great for their prices
Just stopped by quick. Had a great hour. They are the best
Good info from employees
4. Guitar Center
Address: 50 Boston Post Rd, Orange, CT 06477 , Navarcles , Connecticut , United States
This place is the best.
They treat there customers like a friend.
Pete best guitar tech on the planet.
Chaz store manager is super professional. Thanks for all your help
And patience.
Helpful staff. Willing to answer the most basic of questions. Large selection of various instruments and accessories. Very good pricing.
I like the store, and playing the piano there as well.
One of the few music stores in CT. Decent stock.
Somewhat good service
Tough to get waited on here …..however . Classic music store.
You would think that a company with a bad rep would open up a few minutes early. Just saying go back to being a store for musicians. Maybe have clinics at the smaller stores.
Just went in the store to check out the chapman guitars not a one in there. If your looking for a PRS only 3 of them. But you can see a lot of Gibson and fenders best wishes
I will do all my shopping on Reverb
What a disappointing experience I just had on the phone with Guitar Center in Orange CT. I called to request an ESTIMATE for a bass I am considering selling. This is something I have done many times and always had helpful conversations. The person who answered the phone refused to give me an estimate and told me they never do that. I nicely explained that I understood it was an estimate and that I realized they would have to see the instrument. He refused to look it up … Again, I’ve done this many times… I’d rather not support the chain stores anyway.
A little over yr ago I had ordered a vintage guitar online from guitar center and it was shipped professionally done. I thought that was the Guitar Center Standard so I decided to purchase an other one. The next purchase came from this location and all I can say people ship $2 LP’s with more responsibility and care than these guys did with shipping a 1967 Vox Super Lynx Deluxe.
