Danny is so nice and knowledgeable. If you need a piano or any work done to yours, go there! He is awesome
Great for piano/guitar lessons, and organizes recitals for students.
We purchased a beautiful piano from this store. Jessie and Danny were very helpful! They have a lovely inventory and were always available for any help or concerns I had.
My daughter took lessons here with Mrs Nancy. She is so sweet and patient. Although we’ve had to take a small break due to personal reasons when she starts back Mrs Nancy will definitely be her teacher again!
Good service. Nice showroom. Friendly staff.
Good people in ownership. Have only gone in the past for guitar lessons.
My piano is the worst sent they been by, it was out of tune but at least all the keys worked, I will never use them again
3. Vinylyte Records And Skate shop
Address: 28 S Court Square, Newnan, GA 30263 , Newnan , Georgia , United States
I’ve been going here every so often for the past year but everytime I have gone the staff is amazing. They have a huge collection of rare to common to kinda worth checking out vinyls and CDs for you to add to your collection. Love coming back to Newnan just for Vinylyte, last time I was here in June, I was having a hard time choosing which vinyl to buy and ended up buying 2 lol. Anyway, love this place, check it out! Support your local businesses!
Jessie is one of a kind! Sharing his space and taking time to give young folks the ability to express and explore music each and every month by hosting a totally free open mic night. I personally saw him handle tough situations tonight in a very respectful manner (he showed respect and asked for respect). I am so thankful for vinylyte and browns and all they have done to encourage young musicians. They are a good example of what is right with the world!
Meh, good but not a lot of stuff to my taste in albums
this is a clean little record shop. decent inventory, both used and new (lacking in indy, industrial, punk and metal but. . .), and prices are average (you could find better online but no shipping cost and no private seller weirdos). the record chick was nice and didn’t openly judge me for my horrible taste in 80’s italo disco. so ya, i’ll be back to pick up some stuff.
On the whole a solid selection. If you don’t collect vinyl records and you are looking for a gift the selection is slightly limited. The staff was helpful. It is a unique experience which takes you back to another time in music.
Great inventory, outstanding vinyl, BUT HORRIBLE customer service.
The records were kinda overpriced and they have almost no popular or namebrand artists. Not a wide selection at all. I think the vinyl shop should be closed or re managed, the skate shop part was the only fair thing inside. Kinda disappointing.
4. Brown’s Guitar Mill
Address: 28 S Court Square, Newnan, GA 30263 , Newnan , Georgia , United States
Brown’s Guitar Mill is great! JB does excellent work for very reasonable prices. His custom work is awesome and he’s a super nice guy as well.
JB! Very excited for you – congratulations on the new store! Kinda excited for me too as I have a GREAT place to bring my axes. You are the best and will be continue to be incredibly successful. I need to visit and SOON. Blessings… Frank
I have been a customer for 2 years now and have bought 3 guitars. And had several of my own guitars repaired. Outstanding work done! I highly recommend Brown’s for all things guitar!!! Thanx JB.
just picked up an OG archtop harmony, price was decent and saved me from “the hunt”, and dude that sold it to me was cool, so no complaints. also check out some vinyl while there (the record store and guitar store are seperate entities but in the same storefront).
5. Pawn Express
Address: 93 Temple Ave, Newnan, GA 30263 , Newnan , Georgia , United States
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely purchase there again!
This is the absolute best place you can go,great guys, best prices, always welcome there! Can’t beat there customer service!
The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back!
Decent prices on pawning items, but don’t take dusty items to pawn, they called dust on our a/c mildew even though we wiped it off and showed it to him.
A+
Good employees. Fair prices on a lot of items. However they kinda seem like they are tired of seeing you. If you return a few times. Not rude, just give me a burden type vibe. And not talkative. So just sell or pawn and leave.
None.
Dont go here! I pawned a couple of nice things here. Ran 7 days late and they didn’t work with me at all to get my stuff back. These reviews on here are pretty fake because ALL OTHER PAWN SHOPS in newnan would have taken into account the high ticket prices of my items and somehow worked with me to get my stuff back.( had cash in hand too!) Do business elsewhere. I will from now on.
They suck they need to shut this place down
6. Musicology
Address: 48 Spring St, Newnan, GA 30263 , Newnan , Georgia , United States
World class music school for a variety of instruments.
Fair and transparent pricing with teachers and staff that care
I been taking lessons for a couple of years now+ and have learned a great deal. Doug Keyes is very patient and very knowledgeable. He constantly challenges me and has something new all the time. If you want to learn the guitar well this is a great place to do it. If your just beginning to play or have been playing for 30+ years like myself Mucicology is the place to go to learn your instrument. All of the instructors are excellent!!!!
Victoria is a wonderful teacher. Great place to learn.
Just stopped in to check out the place and ended up getting a great deal on a sweet Yamaha guitar! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful people. Will be the place that I go for all my music needs!
An overall outstanding customer service with a “service with a smile” attitude that will keep me coming back. As a fellow guitarist, the music center has a great atmosphere and a good selection of electrics and acoustics. They carry good amps too. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to spend an afternoon with guitars, drums, or ukulele.
I’ve been trying to teach myself how to play guitar for a few months, and needed a fresh set of strings, ended up having an awesome conversation with the owner, and left with a new set of strings and some really great playing advice!
