Visited for the first time today after being drawn in by the variety of instruments on display. The store was very well organized with sections for ukuleles, guitars, and pianos. I was quickly greeted and an employee helped me find what I was looking for. The owner and employees were all so kind, and I’m sure I’ll will be stopping by again with some friends!
We called Family Piano out to tune our 57 year old Baldwin spinet. Can’t say enough about the service we received from Family Piano. They are now our go to store for servicing all the pianos in our family. Julie came out and tuned it and then came out another time to refurbish some of the inner workings of the piano. No more tinny sound, just a nice mellow tone. Alice and her crew are doing a great job and are committed to music and music education. Oh, and I forgot to mention that they are very reasonably priced. If and when I need or want a new piano, I will run right over to them.
The sales associate Rick was very helpful in the Golf Mills location & I wound up purchasing a Kawai electric as an anniversary gift for my wife.
The family piano co service is very good for us and help me find out good instruments . But rental areas the piano teacher not well so older .she doesn’t nicely to kids and always talks to students about except teach content . Almost never demonstrate how to play the piano Alway use the most .the kids everytime back to home need go to YouTube find out how is play the song . I lots of time thinking about her waste of money and time to do her pension.doesn’t let kids grow up .learn few year doesn’t learn anything.if someone wants to not keeping up with the times kids go there learn to piano need clean eyes and check it . I think the older teacher is older ideas ,not keeping up with the times

This is kind of a no-nonsense shop for pianos, ukeleles, guitars, and keyboards. They have some other incidentals but the staff is very helpful, very knowledgeable and they have the availability of offering advanced services to support any piano that you might have. The overall “Mall” experience is very George Romero-like but this store seems to be doing well enough here. Lots of floor space, many pianos. I played a Dean acoustic guitar here for the first time in my life. Oddly I don’t think I knew that they made anything other than the infamous “Flying V”. Cool, clanky guitar actually. We bought a new concert Uke and strings for my Martin.

Beautiful company

The only time this company is involved in its surrounding Community is to go out to lunch. In the years that I’ve lived over by it I’ve only seen the employees do one community service event that involve the rest of the community. Now be on that from the service side of things you could deal with a lot of other audio companies and get your equipment Elsewhere for a lot cheaper.
Lazy, lying corporate trolls.
5. Melody Music Studios (music lessons in home or studio)
Upon entering, I was frozen in my tracks for a long minute just to take it all in! Been a guitar player for 58 years and thought I’ve seen all the cool amps. This place had amps I didn’t know existed. A true throw back in time. Does anyone remember: Biasco’s, Associated Music or Roselle Music? This place fell hard during Covid…but still an absolute must visit! John the owner, will have some small batch organic coffee waiting for you.
Great place, friendly people, so grateful for checking this place out. Best of the best.
Great to learn music. Some years ago my daughter started taking piano lessons and did quite well. Now I’m taking guitar lessons and hope to do half as well. My instructor John Z. Is great! He’s a terrific teacher, fantastic encourager, and extremely patient.
Great customer service.
Very very kinds staff
My amp was supposed to be fixed on the same day I dropped it off. After about two months, I picked it up, but it was not finished. It was taken apart piece by piece. The store is messy and terrible shape. Everyone who works there basically does not care if you are not being helped. There is no reason to go here at all.
