I took my inexpensive but not crummy guitar in to fix a string buzz. The guitar tech diagnosed the problem, fixed it in due time (I had to wait a day behind another more extensive job, which is fine), and the bill was quite reasonable.
Thanks for your help today, after some good sandpaper and some elbow grease this new ebony nut you guys had in stock sounds awesome feels awesome!
The always treat me like family and always try to help with whatever they can. Highly knowledgeable staff and great selection of gear for any musician.
Nice music store.
Pros: I just moved here and was told by a guitar center employee that Flores music down the road has the best guy around to diagnose a problem I have with my very expensive guitar. Three shops had tried and failed at this point. I wish I could remember the technicians name; it started with a “j” I know, he takes one look at the guitar and checks a couple things. He then tells me that the problem is easily fixed. I tell him I’ve heard that before. But while I waited he fixed the buzzing problem and even corrected a couple other things that were bad. I’ve never had a guitar play this well ever! The con is when I was done thanking the savior of my taylor guitar a man from the store got mad at me for peeking my head in the shop to talk to the technician who I am trusting with my guitar. Sorry Flores music for bothering you with my business. Great repairs and lousy customer relations.
It was awesome na Kevin Gray Is such a good drum teacher
Ripped off a 15 year old gave him 250$ for a 700$ guitar that was 3 months old would never go here for anything, also had a les paul fretboard gauged and fixed here done terribly wrong it buzzed at most lower frets dunno how they are still in business besides the fact they are the only ones with mesa boogie
Don’t buy anything from them, nobody there competent enough to know what they are selling
Do not visit if you have brown skin. Clearly has a preference for whites only…. cannot believe this place and the racist service exists in 2014!!! Had a horrible experience. They would rather not serve me or take my money….. beware black and brown people of Peoria!!!

Some of the nicest young people I ever come across. Wish McDonald’s was this nice. Even with a bad experience to no fault of their own I can’t complain about anything except the self entitled customers that give them a hard time and get in my way of trying to check equipment out and correct a situation
Great site knowledgeable staff
I was just there…and ignored…because I don’t look like the kind of customer they like. Ended up spending over $600 & getting exactly (actually more & better than I thought I could afford). Thank you to AJ; he’s a pearl.
Friendly employees. Good selection of gear.
Staff was knowledgeable, good selection of guitar strings.
Do yourself a favor, save yourself the headache. Go to Sweetwater.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! NEVER ANSWER PHONE! UNABLE TO DEMO USED PRODUCTS!
should have went to a different salesman. Offered the guy a favorable trade for them and he wouldn’t take it. Should have dealt with the manager instead.

My go to guy for guitar and amp repair. He is a savant and always knocks it out of the park with anything I bring to him. Highly recommend this fine establishment!!
I have had three guitars setup by and one guitar pedal fixed by Aaron and all four have returned playing and sounding better than when I first bought them. I can’t say enough about his impeccable attention to detail and of the care he puts into each instrument, as if they were his own. He has gone above and beyond when repairing and setting up my guitars to make sure the end product is perfect. He took parts from one of his Ibanez pedal to repair my Tube Screamer, he spent extra time finding and solving a buzz issue on a third party Jazzmaster bridge during a setup with no additional charge and he made my Gibson Les Paul and Taylor Acoustic play beautifully and made them an inspiration to play.
Working with him has been great and communication is timely and very detailed. I highly recommend his services. I will definitely drive down from St. Louis for any future guitar repairs.
Aaron is hands down the best in the area for stringed instrument repair and set-ups. He makes guitars sing like they’re supposed to. If you need anything with your guitar, bass, etc, don’t hesitate. Go to Whiskey Town!

Eclectic shop has been there forever, love visiting and can always find some record I cannot live without. Put this as a must visit on your list!
Super friendly staff and great selection of vinyl!
Amazing selection, awsome staff. Very knowledgeable
If you want to be surrounded with enough vinal to side your house this is the place. They got it all, seriously they got it all. If you love music, you’ll love this place.
Great selection at a fair price!
Great selection of used music. Way WAY overpriced. Purchase cheaper off the net.
Never will return. Had records out on the floor that evidently weren’t for sale yet??? had no interest in helping me and then when he did was a total jerk. Unbelievable.
Lots of oldies rock if that is your thing. Prices way too high.
They have great customer service and are always friendly and welcoming. Lauren is very knowledgeable about choral music and the guys in the shop are very good at what they do. If you need a good place to go for music or purchasing a step up instrument for band, they are the place to go.
Great selection with knowledgable staff
Nice music store with a wide variety of instruments and books. Had the middle school band books that I needed.
Friendly staff and had just what I was looking for
The store is pretty good. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They take the time to help you find what you are looking for, whether it’s sheet music, instruments, or accessories. They also offer lessons with some great teachers.
Friendly and helpful staff!
Have issues taking money off cards don’t say why just say sorry we can’t help
Very Christian oriented and professional. Definitely a place that I don’t mind working in
The culture and energy of BGP is honorable and important asset in our community. Like a moth to a flame, you will find yourself attracted to their commitment to quality work done with excellence.
Let me just say, these folks are the real deal. Good people that are out to give God glory with what they create. All of them have a heart of worship and obedience to God. I look forward to what they do as a music group over the years and the different connections made through them. I’ve worked with them personally and appreciate their press as they work to become who God has called them to be.

A great selection of pianos and the salesperson was very knowledgeable about all of the pianos. We did find a piano and purchased it that day.
I purchased a Yamaha NU1 2 years ago at the Piano Network and was given an incredible deal! I had a really good experience!
I popped in for a quick stop, just wanted to try out a particular model I had been researching online. Left my friend in the car with the engine running. Tom was very helpful and showed me exactly what I was looking for, he was very knowledgeable and explained several different options. Before I knew it an hour had passed, my friend was not happy.

Great place for record browsing & vintage knick knacks! One of my favorite local businesses & owned by a great couple!
Great place,great people, great prices!
#SnobAlert – One would not expect a vinyl shop with this high level of knowledge, selection, quality, and complexity to exist in a small market such as Peoria, IL. Thoroughly impressed. Whole-heartedly recommended. Secretly coveted.
This record store had a wide variety of albums. I bought 5 vinyls for only 10 dollars including a 1973 Wings record, a Dave Clark 5, a record by Moe Bandy, a live Who recording from Leeds England, and an Arlo Guthrie album as well. The selection of newer records was just as diverse. Have fun with your music!
Great place, nice selection.
I live the local record store. But I got to admit. The staff was helpful for sure. But the selection is very limited. Prices are a little higher than other local stores. The organization of the records could be a little more updated. But otherwise a really cool retro local spot. Defiantly worth checking out.
