Always satisfied with this team and store! They always help and answer my questions in full detail. We’re regular, long-time customers and it shall stay this way.
Very nice place. I purchased multiple pieces of equipment from here for my portable A/V set up; mixer, amplifier, microphones, ect… The people here a re very friendly and helpful. I haven’t had any issues with the equipment to date, which is a plus and would definitely recommend others to check them out, especially if you are in need of an amp or guitar, they have a huge selection.
I recently bought a Gibson Les Paul Studio from this location that I had been eyeing for months. I had been in contact with Alex over the phone, prior to making the trip to the store. Alex gave me a good deal, and I could not be happier with my purchase. He was professional, helpful, and down to earth. Thanks again!
Helpful staff with a variety of instruments and accessories available for purchase. The prices seemed pretty good from my experience. Several higher end instruments but plenty for the beginner as well.
Good price. Good customer service
Used top of line gear at inexpensive prices. Definitely check out if you are a musician in need of equipment.
Went in today to buy a few picks around 12 this afternoon. After grabbing a few, I went to pay for them. The guy in front of me just bought an amp and left to get his car to load his equipment up. I was standing there waiting to pay for my stuff and the guy behind the counter (without even acknowledging me) just walked away. I can’t imagine he didn’t see me. I’ve shopped there off and on for years and I never go out of my way to leave bad reviews, but this place earned it. I teach guitar and used this place for books, picks, and other things. I’m very understanding towards employees in retail and usually won’t make an issue out of most things. But, I was completely ignored and I won’t refer my students to ever go to this place to pick up anything they may need.
Guitar Center offers more for your used gear
The selection of instruments was fantastic and the employees were very friendly and helpful. We picked up a nice Jackson “Shattered Mirror”. The reason for 2 stars is that they changed the price tag on it. Not the price, just the tag. The original tag was thick with price sticker over price sticker. This made it obvious that the guitar had been in the store a while. We left to get the money for it and when we got back it had a single sticker.
The problem is there is usually a little room to play on price. But I was.told that there was nothing they could do because they only had it for three days.
Why argue – it’s their house? We just wont visit again.
3. GROVE GUN SHOP gold & pawn
Address: 201 Stanley K Tanger Blvd, Locust Grove, GA 30248 , O Grove , Georgia , United States
Tyler was very helpful with my purchase today. Everyone has been extra nice each time I have been in, even when no purchase. Je
I was there today picking up some dvds im in town staying for a lil bit from Alabama.. I had a moment of wow they have an amazing group of fellas . The checkout guy was very polite and courteous. Ill be back soon to look at that Bow and probably more movies. @Mandino780 @Mandi.sue1980. Instagram. Peace and thank you for that ☺
The absolute best shop in Georgia. Excellent customer service!
they have a large selection of of guns here, so if you’re looking for a used gun shop, this is probably the place. Everything else in the store is mostly stuff in poor – fair condition that carries a “like new” price tag. unwilling to negotiate on a guitar that needed work and a good cleaning.
They stole my money for a purchase on gunbroker and never shipped the ammo. They refuse to respond to my emails, I’ve tried multiple times to resolve this with them. Common thieves and no better. You don’t have the ammo, fine. I want my 190 bucks back. You want this review changed? Respond to my emails.
Edit: They finally did refund me my money, but it took weeks. Honestly they need to keep an eye on what they’re offering online, if it isn’t in stock then don’t take money for a purchase you have no ability to fulfill. Upgrading to 3 star for the managers professional response and prompt refund once it was addressed.
They treated me pretty well here. I was referred to them through a Pawn Shop in Morrow. And the did not disappoint me. I will definitely be a return customer.
How do you have hours to open at 10:00 and not be open knock on the door they still don’t come to the door says they are closed after a 45 min drive to get there they want even open shifts business model.
Dont go here! they a crooked as hell. They also buy ammo from academy sports then Triple the price at there store. These guys are a disgrace. I hate I bought anything from them.
They treat people terribly, if you don’t know something they will laugh at you and not really help you and if you don’t know much about guns, they’ll make you not even wanna know anything about em anymore, they are such stuck up and mean. Really hate this place with a passion. Overpriced guns too so not even worth your time too go in.
4. Harris Band Instruments
Address: 3800 Salem Rd, Covington, GA 30016 , O Grove , Georgia , United States
Had what I needed and they are open on Sundays. They are mainly a school band type store so if you are needing guitar or rock band type stuff the selection is limited.
Nice place to learn and buy instruments
I’m a high school band director and I send all my instruments and encourage my students to bring their instruments here for repair
5. Music & Arts
Address: 1522 Hudson Bridge Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281 , O Grove , Georgia , United States
Great music instructors! Great customer service. The kids love the classes. Take advantage of the amazing deals and expose your children to the joy of music
Brian changed my guitar strings for me and everyone was very pleasant and time efficient.
Great experience. My son had an older guitar which I got repaired and tuned.
They are so nice and laid back. I did not give them 5stars only because it would be nice if they had more people to help so the wait to check out wasn’t so long.
Employees are knowledgeable.
A fairly well stocked music store.
Advertised there was an open house, when we got there they looked at me like I was lying after I came in and they did NOT greet us. I asked questions and the guy helping me was polite. Set me an appointment with a vocal coach same day and when I came back for my appointment we waited over 20 mins. I went up to the counter as a courtesy. The women continued to hold conversation as I stood there when I could have just left without saying a word. When she finally finished her conversation with the gentleman then she addressed me and I told her I will not longer be waiting, she tried to get me to reschedule I declined then left. Poor customer service and inconsiderate of others time.
I have been in here a couple of times. Yesterday, the service was bad enough that we won’t be back. I took my daughter in to grab some guitar strings and we arrived at about 4:50pm. The associate was with another customer at the register, so I didn’t think twice about the fact we weren’t greeted. My daughter and I browsed the store while we were waiting for assistance. After the other customer left, we were approached by the employee. He didn’t greet us or ask how he could help us. Instead, he asked us to leave as he was closing the store. I asked his name (Blue) and we left. Don’t waste your time. McDonough Music has always been helpful and I will continue to take my business there. There are many other small businesses that want to help you.
