This is an amazing store with a fantastic service. I walked in looking for a new Sax and Mark and Lisa made it happen. They were super friendly, answered all my questions, and made my shopping experience a fantastic one. Thanks! I strongly recommend this place!
This is one of my Fav places to get all of my musical needs taken care of! friendly and knowledgeable staff! Great Rentals to btw
Great customer service! Went in to have my daughter’s viola string replaced and Lisa was amazing. So much great information about instruments, lessons, repairs, rentals. She really took the time to make sure the instrument was working great before I left. Definitely will be back soon for all of our instrument needs. Thanks again!

This is my first Google reviews actually. Very relax environment and…great coffee!
I purchased two 8oz packages of coffee from these guys at the Stamford farmers market. OMG THIS COFFEE IS INCREDIBLE!!!! The aroma, the flavor , sumptuous . This is quality. Great service, super friendly. I will be a loyal customer starting today. They are located at 185 Sound Beach Avenue, Old Greenwich, Ct.
Thank you for incredible coffee!!
Great Space and even greater coffee. The Acai Bowl and Banana Bread are must haves.
I love the ice cream and the tea!
I never leave reviews, but every single time I come here I am so disappointed by the workers. The food and coffee are great, but the staff is SOOOO rude.
The coffee was so hot that it warped the cup. The lid fell off and went all over my leg. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Very sad.
I ordered a small iced dirty chai and somehow it came out to over $8 before tip. They gave me a latte with an extra shot and when I asked if that was the dirty chai they said no, that they messed up and would remake it, but let me have both drinks. The espresso in both was soooo dark and strong, I’ve never had anything like it. They tasted okay, but I could only have a few sips because it was just way to strong and almost weirdly thick.
My friends got the Ruby Cocoa latte (no espresso) and it was pretty good.
Overall I was bit disappointed with this place. When it was my turn to order, I was ignored for a couple minutes by the barista. A simple “I’ll be right with you sir” would have sufficed but nope – ignored while the barista attended to different things. Then when I did order, the barista grabbed my coffee cup with her fingers grasping the inside of it, don’t believe she even washed her hands after doing other things. Then I wasn’t asked if I wanted milk or cream and so when I realized, I had to wait again in line just to be greeted by a very unenthusiastic barista asking if I needed something… I liked the coffee but won’t be coming back anytime soon.
10. Rental Instrument, LLC of Greenwich
Address: 299 Greenwich Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830 , Old Greenwich , Connecticut , United States
Lovely service here, and Constantin and the entire staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend for instrumentalists of all levels.
This violin shop carries superior quality stringed instruments. My husband is a musician and we have rented from them for our children. Their instruments are definitely better than what you will find online at amazon or from most other rental shops that are not specialized in Stringed instruments. The staff has done a good job taking care of our instruments when we need things done, and the convenience of being able to rent instruments of this quality locally is very nice. This business is an asset for our community.
We have sent many students to Constantin for many years and the feedback has always been positive. Constantin, Marco and the rest of the crew are very knowledgeable and always provides the best service. Highly recommend for all your rental or purchasing needs.
Good cellos, but not a fan of thier violins. It’s mostly just personal preference, still much better instruments than cheaper rental places.
Thier violins made me want to be a violist and that’s not normal.
Overpriced. Found out work done on my instrument would hurt it longterm.
While I understand that small businesses, especially during this time, need to survive and will need to have higher prices than online retailers, the prices at the shop are often at least double what you’ll find at other local shops for online retailers.
This price gouging for students and musicians is not worth it. I’d recommend visiting other reputable string shops in the area or going to Bob Isley in Rye.
As a professional musician and music educator, I cannot recommend going to this shop. If you’re looking to support a local business, you can check out Robert Isley Violins in Rye or Philip Perret in Katonah. I have never been price gouged at either of those shops.
Very Very unhappy about their charge policy. I had to pay $15.95 for exchange a bigger size violin just around 1 months. When we rent the violin, I already ask isn’t 1/4 too small for my daughter? They insisted on 1/8. Just had twice violin lessons, the teacher already said it’s too small for my daughter! How can my daughter grow so much in an month! Highly doubt they did this on purpose to charge more! If I could give 0 star, I will!
Edited
I wasn’t happy on the phone. I told you I was busy and had no time to deal with you. I had to hung up on you since you wouldn’t stop talking. I don’t even know if you refund the $15 or not.
