Excellent customer service, was prompt in correcting my address. Easy to order from their website and my module was boxed instead of plastic packaged. Came with a cool inspirational Tarot card too! Will be making further purchases from them if they have stock on what I’m wanting.
Very fast shipping, friendly and responsive! I look forward to buying more gear from Sunset Synths.
A+ Customer Service –
Purchased a Module that I could not find anywhere else –
Transactioon and shipping went smoothly!
Thanks a Ton!
3. Sam Ash Music Stores
Address: 4644 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 , Orange County , Florida , United States
Muita variedade de instrumentos. Qualidade e preços muito bons. Você fica “maluco” dentro da loja rs
I always go here for my band’s needs and they never fail. Ray helped me out and was fantastic.
Good service
My experience is always very positive walking into Sam Ash everyone there is extremely helpful. The reason for my four stars instead of five stars is that there just wasnt enough employees working at the time I was there. Rob was exceptionally nice and helpful when I dropped off my Taylor for service. I waited about 10 minutes in front of the guitar strings and finally I was able to get some help. My complaint is not a product of customer service just a lack of people working.
Ron was very helpful…pretty laid back…not pushy at all…we called about a Fender guitar..he held it for us….we got there and snapped it up…what a great deal on this gem!
Great store with a huge amount of various instruments from entry level to more experienced.
I have been a customer at the location before it was even Sam Ash and I would like to know who that guy was honestly I expect that it was probably the manager
Is a big store with equipment of quality. But even when they has a great volume of customers, they seems to be just a few associates. So be ready to spend big time to get someone to help you; and if you are lucky enough to get someone you better be willing to shared with another customer.
And don’t try to save time by calling with a question, because they will put in hold for several minutes, to then tell you that they are busy and can’t answer the phone, but they can call you back.
Hope that your life don’t depend on that call back.
Pushing Samson products over others because they own Samson. Ugh! Not a fan of inferior product that produces higher commissions. Salesman wasn’t happy since that’s the majority of the product they had readily available
This is the best guitar store in Orlando. The staff is super friendly, and the curated selection is incredible. I have never had a bad experience here. If you want a place to play some killer guitars, and relax, this is the place.
My business neighbors
By appointment only – but one of the only real music shops in Orlando. A boutique that specializes in old, unique, and strange guitars and amps. Well worth the visit if you find yourself in Orlando for a week or more and need to buy a guitar to play.
The staff is really nice, but the store is the size of a walk in closet. They had some pretty cool used guitars, and a few amps, but this place is nothing in comparison to Jimmy’s Vintage Music. I couldn’t get over how small the place was. The “vintage” part seems a little lofty as well.. I’d say “used” more than “vintage”. Really cool guys who work there though.
Walked in this place on 3/27 with the money I got from my tax return. The guy working the sales floor did not greet me. I ask him a question about a Breedlove guitar and he said he did not know if it included the pickup or not. He could not give me an answer as to the price of the guitar. I had $3400 bucks cash just burning a hole in my pocket and I was out to buy a nice guitar. Then I saw a nice Martin D-35 on the wall. He handed it to me and within 5 minutes I fell in love with the instrument. I ask him a simple question about the Martin and he completely ignored me. He was working on his laptop and had no time for customers. I purchase several high end guitars a year and I will NEVER go in this shiyhole again. Nor will I recommend them to anyone. I I were you I’d avoid this place.
Here is the owners unbelievable response:
Hi James. I’m finding it hard to believe a word of your review. There is no possible way you asked if our Breedlove had a pickup in it. None. Nor would my employee fail to answer two questions about a Martin that he just handed you. Feel free to call me, if for no other reason than to verify that you were even at the right store. Eric
Here is my response:
So you think your best response is to call me a liar. All this does is piss me off more. I can promise you every word of that review is true except for the fact that it was a Martin D-28 and not a D-35. You would have been much wiser to try and contact me in a professional way as apposed to being accusatory. Seeing that you find it except able to call me a liar I would like to point out that your sir are a complete and utter moron.
Below is another response by the owner of this business. First of all I need to say that every word I wrote in my review is absolutely TRUE. I made up nothing. I would have no motivation to do so. I am not a competitor of his and prior to walking to Blackbird I knew nothing about them. Just look at this guys response to a legitimate customer complaint. You need to ask yourself after reading this guys response “Is this a person I want to do business with”? “Is this a music store that I would want to deal with if I had a problem with an item I bought from them”. This owner is totally unprofessional and IMHO does not deserve to be in business.
Usually I don’t talk bad about business partners but this time I feel like I have to, sorry about that!
I spend over 1,000$ at this store and still don’t even know the name of the person I communicated with!
It honestly was the worst buying experience I’ve ever been through.
First of all, I tried to negotiate on the price (cause this is what you usually do) but there was noooo way to lower the price, not even the tiniest bit…
Well, that’s not the reason for the bad review but it’s definitely part of the whole bad buying experience. I agreed to buy the guitar anyways for the listed price, everything okay so far.
Then the troubles started to take over. The seller told me that if I want to pay by Credit Card they would only ship to my credit card’s address, although this means they would have to ship the guitar to Germany. Never heard something like this before…So I had the trouble of finding a different way to pay. The seller didn’t even seem to be interested in finding a different solution for me, I had to figure things out on my own.
Well, I found a way and the shipping worked well BUT I asked for a receipt, cause I will need that for import documentation to Germany. And guess what, the receipt never got to me.
After asking for a digital receipt via mail, this store seriously asked me what a receipt looks like and offered me a screenshot of the PayPal transaction…..
Guys, I don’t know what kind of sketchy business is going on here, but the customer is definitely not king in this place!
Sorry, but this is not how you treat customers who spend more than 1,000$ at your store….
I’m just glad the guitar arrived….
8. DTM Guitarworks
Address: Servicing Central, Orlando, FL 32825 , Orange County , Florida , United States
Dan has performed miracles on 3 of my guitars (so far)…
The 1st was an acoustic with some particularly annoying dead spots above the 12th fret. The 2nd was an acoustic guitar that had a broken truss rod which he *welded back together*!. Finally, something I didn’t think was going to be possible, a right to left handed conversion (on an acoustic 12 string!!)
All of them play wonderfully now. I will definitely be bringing more guitars to DTM Guitarworks.
I bought a used guitar and took it to DTM for a setup. Daniel set up the guitar exactly how I asked: low action, specific tuning, and cleaned it up very nice. Daniel also took the time to fix one of the frets that was damaged from the previous owner. I will be using DTM for all my future guitar work.
9. Alfredo Velazquez Guitars
Address: 415 E Pine St, Orlando, FL 32801 , Orange County , Florida , United States
What sets this instructor apart is their genuine care for their students. They go the extra mile to ensure you not only improve as a singer but also enjoy every step of your musical journey.
My bass lessons with my instructor Greg have been fantastic. The personalized attention he gives me has helped me improve my playing and understand music on a deeper level.
Helpful and kind staff. I didn’t feel pressured to buy, and they were more conversational, just telling me their honest opinions about the instruments. They really do have a great selection of ukuleles. It was ridiculous. I found one I loved, and they were all great prices… Comparable prices to guitar center but waaay better selection and quality. Would recommend to anyone.
12. Tropical Music International, LLC
Address: 627 Brookhaven Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 , Orange County , Florida , United States
I’m new to town and liked the place as soon as I set foot in it. Chad from the guitar section remembered me from my last short visit and was just awesome. Really friendly staff and over all just a nice experience to shop there. Will be back!
Excellent, salesman was very knowledgeable. Understood our needs and didn’t try to oversale
The team here including Joe who is also the guitar tech is AWESOME! If they don’t have it in stock they will track it DOWN! Knows about guitars, found a Marshall in a box new by calling like 8-9 places for me. Got me the Freddie King ES 345 from NYC, found me a Pete Townsend Les Paul, they can find it! Makes the deal work for you, great customer service by the managers here as well. My fav Orlando music place!
I couldn’t believe or understand why there was such a small selection of audio interfaces. I’m happy with the product I purchased, but I had no choice. I probably spent more for a product beyond my needs. In addition, I felt like I was keeping my sales rep from something else more important.
I needed a pair of studio monitor stands and dropped by San Ash and quickly found a great, stylish pair for under $100. Love the store, the selections and the people.
I wish they opened earlier than NOON or 1 o’clock – Otherwise I would give them a 5 star. However, it was just an average visit.
Went in today to buy a Roland drum kit. Didn’t talk to a single employee the whole time. No one greeted us and no one was there when we walked out the door. There was initially an employee in the drums department, but when we walked in the drum room, he disappeared behind the employees only door and never came back out. Waited around 15 minutes or so in the drums department looking at various things, and no one ever showed up. Selection of drum pedals and hi-hat stands was abysmal. The cymbal room only has a fraction of the cymbals it used to have compared to when I first started drumming about 12 years ago. The price tags for the electronic drum kits did not correspond to the demo kits in front of them. Place felt relatively empty and like it’s not going to be around much longer. I thought I was doing the right thing by supporting local business, but ultimately left empty-handed and will order from Amazon.
Eh, went there looking for cables and help, stood in an almost empty store waiting for upwards of 20-25 minutes for anyone to help me and nothing. Finally got help, not that impressed, will probably shop online from now on
14. Retro Records
Address: 59 N Bumby Ave, Orlando, FL 32803 , Orange County , Florida , United States
I have been part of Retro Records Buying & selling for nearly 11 yrs they are honest,Help full & always fair about the prices.I found from latest Artists to the oldest.
Some folks might get mad they take a truck load of things to sell an they would only buy a few well is a Business not a wishing well.I known the Owner for quite a few years his a great Business man polite an help full.Great Store I recommend to anyone who’s looking to find something special if they don’t have at the time just ask them if they could help u find it who knows you might get it.
It’s great, lots of awesome music of all sorts
I buy all my cassettes there. I love this place it’s cozy and right next to a fantastic sandwich shop so it’s a perfect place to go for a lunch date.
Buena tienda de vinilos y CDs se consiguen buenos temas en lp y 12″ también CDs a buen precio y muy buen estado, prácticamente nvs
Very old building, don’t think the air was even on. Selection was just ok.
Not the best selection. Prices are high
Owner was a real A-hole! Follows you around the store like a child and God forbid you touch anything he will “rearrange” it back to his liking. Prices are crazy like the owner! Would never set foot in here again!
The collection is endless and has plenty of variety. Nice atmosphere, unlike Park Ave Records, these guys are serious record collectors, so A+ for your collection. I bought 4 used 7″ vinyls, about $23 dollars, not bad. Tried them all out but, to my surprise, out of those 4, only 1 works. The rest are unplayable and warn out and have scratches all over them. I was going to return them but usually with record stores, they can’t be returned after the record is in your hands, because of the delicacy and liability obviously, I understand that. Plus I’ve been told the manager will not accept returns and it’s a waste of time, regardless of the situation. So I won’t even bother. The manager on the clock was nice and helpful though, he seemed like a cool guy. I’ve heard from lots of people also say that their records have been warped from here and it’s sad. I never want to put down a business and shame them because I understand the economy is crap and the last thing you want is some punk kid talking crap about your store on the web, but I spent my hard earned money on these records, and I feel I got robbed blind. I did look them over before I bought them, but due to the lighting condition and my amateur skill in telling the condition of the vinyl, I struggled. If you do shop here, I recommend shopping for the new records (sealed) but the used ones are a gamble and to risky. I’d be happy to talk to the owner if he were to reach out to me and gladly revise my review if this was to be handled but for now, I must do a service to the vinyl community in being honest. I’ll stick to Park Ave and RNRH.
**Update**
Also found out that all of these records were bootlegged and not originals, beware of this place. ^1 Star^
15. Discount Music Center
Address: 3301 Gardenia Ave, Orlando, FL 32805 , Orange County , Florida , United States
great service from Nate at DMC. he set me up with an amp and cable and let me try all the guitars i want. i ended up leaving with a beautiful Vintage brand thinline tele
Very knowledgeable, great selection
You find everything you need
Small store with attentive staff.
Decent place kept wondering why parking lot was empty then I walked in and seen the prices on used gear marked way above average at least the stuff I looked at which was alot. If it was new yea I can see it…used at new prices come on now. If there is something you really want this is a place to try, not buy unfortunately, if they had competitive prices could have made a sale that day otherwise save yourself a few hundred can get the same stuff online delivered to your door for less. Which sucks as this store has loads of potential with lots of gear.
Nasty service.
Atendimento PÉSSIMO! Funcionário super mau educado! Não merece nenhuma estrela.
Indico a George’s Music de Orlando, excelência em atendimento, preço e som!
Inattentive staff

Recording studio and record shop in a great location! A great place for music lovers to stop by after walking around Lake Eola.
Friendly staff who love supporting art and the local Orlando seen! Great addition to Downtown Orlando’s creative scene.
Nathan was a phenomenal producer for my son’s original worship song. He is one of the best kept secrets in the music industry. He was professional in all areas and definitely knows what he is doing. He knows how to improve the music written and was knowledgeable with all instruments and voice. There was not an area he was not skilled in. Bravo Nathan!
19. Music & Arts
Address: 4676 Millenia Plaza Way, Orlando, FL 32839 , Orange County , Florida , United States
excellent fast timely service! The young man who served us was pleasant, friendly and very helpful. thank you.
I was trying to get my guitar fixed and called every guitar center and no one was available till Wednesday and I happen to find THIS shop on the Internet I called they Were polite and said they can do the repairs I needed. And when I got there they were amazing they took almost 45 minutes to repair my guitar (the repair you need a sepicalist for) but they did it and I got my strings replaced and I got so much equipment that I needed for such an affordable price. Definitely worth it, and definitely making this my new music shop
Great experience, answered every question I had about guitars and helped me pick out one I liked with no pressure and a large selection.
Would give them 5 but their shipping sucks
Very small selection of guitars and amps
The staff was very helpful in answering my questions even though they didn’t have a Cello my son’s size in stock it was a very informative visit
Don’t buy it unless they have the instrument in the store. I bought I violin but they had to order online. When it came , the violin was not what the seller told me about. And today(10/13/15) has been over 3weeks I have been waiting for my money back and I didn’t received yet.
By the way, I never took the instrument out of the store. As soon as I looked it, I told the seller I didnt want it because the violin wasn’t the way the seller told me before…musicarts has a terrible customer service.
DONT BUY UNLESS THEY HAVE PRODUCT IN THE STORE – because if they order online, you will deal with the online service.
Go to some place else..or If you want to buy online, use amazon or Walmart or even target(they sell instruments online).
I was not impressed with this location. The manager on the phone sounded friendly, but was slightly strange and rude in person. They were very disorganized and their computer system constantly would not be working. The bathroom was out of order all the time. when you walk in there is a horrible smell with a dingy feel to it. The rest of the staff was nice but poorly managed. I think this franchise is only looking to make money and not have personal relationships with their customers who come in for lessons. I would steer away from music and arts, because I’ve had similar experience when I lived in Connecticut as well. find yourself a local place that offers lessons on a personal level.
Horrible company. No customer service. They will take your money and ignore your calls
Rick is very friendly! He drove down to me to pick up my guitar and I got a very fair price for it. Highly recommend!
I have to tell you that this place knows more about guitars than any other place I know! If you are just getting into the game or are an experienced guitarist, this is the place for you…try it, you’ll like it! #bingtrain
These cats know their guitars! Great people and great selection. Got to check them out!!
