Wonderful family-run business with friendly, helpful staff. They service instruments for many school districts and do repairs quickly on instruments with fair prices.
Nice store very helpfull staf & good prices. I have rented and purchased from them.
Love there price and you get a great instramet fpfa great price
Great place for kids in school music programs and musicians beyond that age.
The store was better before Covid. It was all open and had a large selection. Now they have most of the store closed off and the lights aren’t all on. Call before you go to make sure they have what your looking for. The owners are knowledgeable.
I was happy until the saxophone broke 3 weeks after renting it. I thought We were getting an instrument in good shape but apparently it was not the case.
Also, the lady at the store is very nice until you ask them to expedite the repair process or question them why they take so long to fix the instrument that never should have broken in first time if it was inspected and sterilized not too long ago.
She was a rude on the phone and she just think that talking to my daughter’s teacher will solve any inconvenience. It does not, because my daughter can’t practice without the saxophone so the one that they should be concern is about my girl missing practice time and getting behind. Sad moment for a middle schooler
Complete trash, terrible sevice. They don’t have a wide selection of books that actually matter when trying to become a great musician. Over priced on everything, buy everything online. They don’t know how to properly repair instruments. I took ina saxophone that I bought from them and they didn’t fix everything. I told them the pads were sticky and they didn’t fix them. Quality of the instruments they sell is extremely low. I wouldn’t recommend to people that actually care about creating music.
Cranky old man with no concept of customer service.
Deserves zero stars. Can’t go in the store. All they offer are a few junky used books outside. Only good as a walk up window if all you want is a box of reeds. I won’t be returning and won’t be recommending this dive. Go anywhere else.

My appreciation for the excellent customer service which I had received from the store on my last visit . The staff was warm and accommodating, and they were so helpful to me. There are lots of New and used instruments. I highly recommend this store.
Best place for music
Expensive store some of the staff are very nice and friendly some are grumpy 🙂 but the owner will do her best to accommodate your wishes!
I like how knowledgeable employees are, but they are disorganized and that has cost me many trips to this store.
Friendly Customer Service !
Instrument Rentals and Sales
I have a 15 year old strat that I hadnt used in years, and I knew it was in desperate need of a proper set up. I reached out to Langley and he was super responsive from the first email I sent. The entire experience was so smooth and Langley is a true professional. My guitar plays and feels better than ever now that it’s properly adjusted and dialed in. Thanks Langley!
Langley is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to guitars. His passion and talent for repairing them is clearly visible, and he is very good at letting you know exactly what state your guitar is in and where he can help fix it. He’s kind, gentle and professional. He even insisted on not charging me because according to him, my guitar needed minimal fine tuning! He did a great job fine tuning it regardless and my guitar sounds so much cleaner. Overall, a very satisfactory repair/fine tune. I look forward to working with him more in the future.

Your loyal customer since 1991.……………………………………………….
I hate to write a bad review since I really enjoy the service at Bill’s Ace Hardware. I’ve been getting my tanks filled at the Concord Ace location 2 times a week for the past several years and never had any issues. However, the few times I’ve had propane filled at the Martinez location, two 20 lb tanks have come back overfilled by about 4 pounds each. Both tanks were very new (2018 & 2020). The associates were adamant that propane tanks cannot be overfilled even though the weight clearly showed it was (brought a scale to show the second time around). I don’t feel safe getting propane filled here, so I’ll be sticking to my guys over at Concord!
Crackheads screaming and running around the parking lot
