The management is very helpful, and the store is small but has a good stock and variety.
I been coming here to music center for the past 5 years this is a great place wounderful customer service always seem to find everything I’m looking for thank you
Small inventory of low to mid range instruments. I needed a set of Elixir phosphor bronze custom light polyweb and had to settle for 80/20 custom light nanoweb. Nice family run business. Trying to buy local whenever possible.
I needed a last minute sound system for an outdoor party. All three personnel in the store were extremely friendly and helpful. I was in and out with exactly what I needed in less than 20 minutes. Thanks for helping me make my company picnic a success!
Good store with helpful staff. They always have what I need in stock as far as audio cables etc goes. I would have given 5 stars but their hours aren’t good. 11am to 7pm, come on guys.
Been in this store twice now, both times the workers talked down to me and basically ran me out of their store within 5 minutes. Horrible customer service.
I WENT IN THERE TO BUY A BASS AND THEY HAD A LITTLE ROOM WITH ALL THESE RED TAGS ON THE GUITARS AND BASSES “DO NOT TOUCH ASK FOR ASSISTANCE” SO I ASK IF I COULD TRY ONE OF THE BASSES AND THIS KID WITH A SNOTTY ATTITUDE LEANING OVER THE COUNTER GOES “ARE YOU GOING TO BUY IT FOR ME TO GO THROUGH THIS TROUBLE?” I SAID WELL I’D LIKE TO TRY IT FIRST. HE THEN HUFFS AND GET THE BASS DOWN. I WAS SO TURNED OFF BY THE HOLE STORE I JUST LEFT. DON’T GO IN THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET TREATED WITH DISRESPECT AND RUDENESS.
I will never set foot in this place again. I don’t even know the employee’s name, but he has red hair and a tear drop tattoo on his face. He was extremely rude and unprofessional on multiple occasions. He also lied right to my face about how many lessons I’ve taken since I’ve been coming there for the last 4 months. Their instructor Hans is a nice guy and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the lessons I took from him but because of this other employee I will never go back.
5. Guitar Center
Address: 5025 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
I got a good guitar and a lot of help, a worker there helped me with getting everything I needed and was very patient.
so amazing
They always help me a lot. They’re great guys. Staff is awesome. Love this store. Been going here for over 10 years
Ok
Good service if not too busy. Good prices and pretty good selection. Setup luthiers are knowledgeable and helpful.
If you’re looking for an electric guitar, this is probably a good place to go, since they have a huge selection. Their selection of bass guitars, however, is pretty meager – especially if you’re looking for 5-stringed models. Their acoustic guitar selection wasn’t very impressive either. In spite of that, I have to say that I was miraculously able to score a great deal on a used Martin, which was exactly what I was looking for (I paid less than $600, out the door)! Definitely worth the visit. I would have given them 5-stars if they had a better selection of other things besides electrics.
Shun this squirrel nest and especially their Guitar Repair. Dave kept my Stratocaster 28 days for fret work I had to have corrected at The Amp Shop where I shoulda gone in the first place. Later I found a charred pickup lead that thinned out my tone… Went in for Fender parts that were supposed be stocked but were out… Typical corporation. Take a bag of peanuts if you go!
Great place, great staff, and a lot of instruments to play
I’ve never been to another business where I know more about everything in the store then literally the entire staff.
6. Hamilton Piano Company
Address: 1656 S Congress Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33406 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
After moving from New York to south Florida, my piano was in serious need of proper tuning. I contacted Hamilton Piano Company and had a great customer experience, especially with Jim who did an amazing job tuning my circa 1970 upright piano. I’m very happy with the work he did and highly recommended Hamilton Piano and Jim!
Family owned and their knowledge of pianos from antiques to professional and modern pianos is second to none. We ended up getting my sone an upright piano at an estate sale and was badly out of tune. I called Hamilton and scheduled a tuning appointment. Neil cam out and explained the process and spent 2 plus hours getting the pitch correct. My son is happy and playing the piano daily. I highly recommend Hamilton Piano company for any piano needs. Great people and great value and service so you can’t go wrong.
Jim was absolutely terrific – professional and knowledgeable. Scheduling with the company was easy and efficient.
free tuning with purchase, but not if you’re from out of town. Edit* My apologies as it was best offer on Ebay in which you saved money by avoiding Ebay fees by selling outside of Ebay and jeopardizing whoever’s account that was. I didn’t know best offer means “discount”. if that’s the case I’m listing it for 500,000 with a 95% discount!!!! Amazing!!!! and since you took this as a “bad” review, and decided to make this public, I’ll add my side of the story as well thanks for the hospitality and “free” help loading after I had asked your employee (the one communicating back and forth) if there was going to be help after we drove across the state to load it and he said yes or we would have brought all the right equipment plus extra men to move it. You were sure happy that “someone” made an offer and were finally getting it out of there…. so ya…. thx soooooo much for the customer service
all went well. on time, at bid, works great!
Hamilton Piano is who I always have tune my Baby Grand Piano. Chris is a very good tuner, very polite and takes great pride in his work. He also asks you if you have any concerns before he starts which is very nice. The only thing I have to say is that my appointment was at 9:30 AM and he didn’t arrive until 10:00 AM. Thank you Chris and Hamilton Piano.
7. Music Man
Address: 179 N Jog Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33413 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
Great customer service and a solid selection of student instruments. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and they’re taking care of a repair on a student rented instrument in less than a week.
Overall, quite impressed!
We had the most amazing experience here. From the moment we entered we were greeted with friendly enthusiasm. The team helped us out of a situation and were so kind and patient. We are so grateful and thankful and will be back!
Very professional and helpful staff…
Excellent teachers
Excellent location and wonderful customer service
It is good place to buy musical instrument especially related to wind instrument such as saxophones, trumpets, flute, clarinets, and etc. I bought mouth piece for soprano saxophone for my dad, and he really loved it. You may feel it is really small in size, but there is no place like this in WPB. Additionally, you may spend time to find out where the Entry is if you are the first time visit.
Ok
I have purchased three clarinets for my daughter from Music Man, with the last one being over $3600 (Buffet R-13). The “brand-new” clarinet was damaged. We had it repaired from an outside person since my daughter needed it immediately for college auditions and we had been told by Music Man that the repairs would take three weeks. I received a phone call from the manager, Chris, asking for copies of my receipts. He then told me that he would submit the receipts to Buffet for reimbursement. After I submitted the receipts, Chris told me (A MONTH LATER) that he didn’t know why I had dropped off receipts for reimbursement and there would not be any reimbursement since I had taken it to elsewhere for repair. He even went as far as to say that he had never called me and had no idea what I was talking about, even though he had asked to speak to my daughter about what exactly needed to be repaired, as there had been other Buffet clarinets that needed to be repaired. After spending over $7000 at this store, I feel their customer service is horrible. Will never recommended it to anybody.
They lied to me
8. MusiciansBuy.com
Address: 130 Juno St #2, Jupiter, FL 33458 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
Probably the best customer service I have ever received, Tim was awesome. The price was the best I could find as well. My 8 year old loves the electric guitar. I cannot recommend Musicians Buy enough.
I have never wrote review on the store, but this time I want to express my sincere gratitude to employees of MusiciansBuy and especially Quinn Whiteside who was my sales person and help me to get my dream machine Ketron Audya-8. My experience with the store was awesome. I dealt with the store over the phone (store is in Florida and I am in CA) and they help me every step in the way. First of all I could not get this instrument anywhere else and MusicianBuy got it for me, quickly helped me to resolve charge issue to make sure it is applied to my credit card only when instrument was shipped from the store to me (not when it was shipped from Italy). And couple words about instrument – this is unbelievably super sophisticated gear which is truly an instrument of 21st century. Thank you MusicianBuy for helping me to get this awesome instrument I enjoy every minute when use it. There are a lot to learn how to use it, but whatever I can use it for now is still fantastic.
It has been an absolute joy going through MusiciansBuy for my purchase! I received my Concert Ukulele kit in record time, no shipping charges due to the dollar amount I spent, which was really great! What followed next though, is what really made me want to write this review…I got my kit, opened it up and started unpacking it, and after about an hour I got around to looking at the Gig bag that came with it. I had accidentally received a bag that was for a Soprano Uke and not a Concert Uke, I emailed them back (after hours) letting them know this, and that I would be happy to return the smaller bag for one the correct size, and I’d also be happy to pay the difference. The next morning I already had an email waiting for me from Chad, and he was telling me to KEEP the Soprano bag, and that he was going to be sending me out the correct sized bag later that day FOR FREE!! Sure enough, later that same day I received the email with my tracking info in it, and it is on its way to me, just as Chad promised it would be! Even though I may not be ready for another instrument real soon (gotta learn this one first), I promise anyone reading this, that when I am ready to start shopping for another, I am going directly back to MusiciansBuy’s website, and I will also be referring them to all of my friends and family that ask!! This company exemplifies what QUALITY customer service is all about! Thank you!!
9. AMP Shop & Music Parlor
Address: 776 S Congress Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33406 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
Bari and company are awesome! I had some issues with my MIM Fender Strat, some of which I wasn’t even aware of. She went above and beyond… I got my guitar back and I am absolutely thrilled. It plays like butter! For the record, I am very hard to please. I highly recommend The Amp Shop, especially if you’re as picky as me. Thank you Bari!
Phenomenal shop! The staff is always very friendly and welcoming, and the setup Ashley did on my acoustic Martin (which got a little too much humidity in it over the last year) brought the action more manageable than what it was when I first purchased the guitar. Epic work as always!
Were good nice guys and womens
Good
This has been a reliable location for many years
Sold me an amp for $130 that they didn’t even check at half volume (cuts out) and called that “fully serviced” and couldn’t do anything for me when I complained bc I live out of state.
Closing early on a Friday during season? Bad business practice. Sitting outside your shop at 4:45pm. Call ahead or schedule an appointment with these guys

10. George’s Music
Address: 130 Juno St #2, Jupiter, FL 33458 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
Supply chain issues caused me to change how and who I buy products from. George’s music had the guitar that I wanted in stock. I called ahead to verify this and ask some questions and the customer service agent was very helpful and professional. Their website’s live inventory feature was helpful and the online purchase was everything you’d expect it to be. Communication between ordering and delivery is exemplary, I knew the order and delivery status at every stage. They have a checklist that they go over before shipping out guitars and it arrived ready to play. I would recommend George’s Music and would definitely buy again from them.
Great to work with kept us informed at all times!
Highly recommend them !!
A+++Service!!!! Super nice! Wicked patient! They know everything! I don’t even live in the same state, and I will give them my business everytime!!
Que precio tiene la guitarra electrica, mustaine¿??
Great store with great people. Unfortunately it’s closed. You can still buy from them online though.
Great experience the staff put the customer first. They where very knowledgeable about there products they sold..
Not a “music store” but more like a warehouse with a very small showroom. This is essentially a front for their booming internet business. Prices are higher than most. Selection is limited on even the staple items like guitar strings. Will work in a pinch, but wouldn’t ever go out if my way to visit again.
Out of business
This place is closed

They are good at what they do. They give you honest quotes for what might be needed.
Good variety of instruments and accessories. Helpful friendly staff. Good prices
Great store for instrument rental.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR STRING REPAIRS. Or, frankly, repairs in general. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. I originally brought my viola to the store in Port Saint Lucie to be repaired and was told that it had to be shipped to the West Palm Beach store where the actual repair shop was. Seemed reasonable enough at the time. But this store then held my viola for well over a month, and started constantly making excuses as to why I couldn’t have my viola. Not only that, but it was impossible to get ahold of anyone at the store by telephone. I called time and time again and left numerous messages, but I was rarely able to get in touch with anyone until I actually spoke with the repair person. First it was that I didn’t tell them how I wanted it repaired (I did. Twice.) Then it was that the repair person only works weekends (she herself told me that she would come in and fix it on a weekday if needed, but they didn’t seem to care about that), and then it was that they couldn’t ship it back to the Port Saint Lucie store. Then, finally, when I finally got them to ship it back, they did it LATE. It is well over a month later and I STILL do not have my viola because of the terrible customer service. I’ve missed over 10 lessons now because of this. DO NOT go here for string repairs; they are simply understaffed.
I used to come here to have my instrument cleaned for years and will no longer be doing so. Repair shop is unwilling to accommodate professional musicians that are time sensitive. And no, I won’t be leaving my instrument that I make a living with with you for 7-10 days. That’s completely unacceptable. I even offer to pay extra for the rush. Insane. This would never happen in New York, Boston, LA, San Francisco, Dallas, or any city with pro music shops.
Trash. Not in a good way.

The man is very sweet, and is very passionate about his work and music
16. Guitars from Spain
Address: 1498 SW 1st St, Boca Raton, FL 33486 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
My experience with Guitars from Spain was excellent. Was looking for a really nice guitar (for my wife’s birthday) and stumbled upon this site. Talking to Eduardo was a pleasure, this guy knows his business like no other. The Spanish guitar I ended up buying is superb. My wife loves it!
17. BOBB’S Pianos & Organs
Address: 1583 N Military Trl A, West Palm Beach, FL 33409 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
Helpful and efficient service. Will refer all piano needs here !
This is a long story but worth the full read so that you can understand the difference between Piano dealers…Our journey to buy the perfect piano started in 2015. We are the kind of clients that make “logical” decisions and don’t run on emotions. We visited ALL the piano stores in Broward County, and even called a few places in Miami, but couldn’t find the right piano for us. I called BOBB’s pianos in Palm Beach (even thouhg it was far for us) and Tim said they had several pianos that met our criteria. We visited their store on a New Year’s Eve, and even though they close at 1pm, they didn’t mind keeping the store open for an extra 2 hours for us. I played every single upright piano they had, and then ventured into playing the grand pianos. Tim and the owner were very patient with us, encouraged our children to play as well, and even taught them the difference between the digital keyboard and a piano. It felt like we were just hanging out with new friends. After playing the grand pianos, I knew that I could not settle for an upright, and the baby grand was still out of our budget, so I decided we weren’t ready to commit. Tim understood our reason and said he would find the perfect piano for us.
For 2 years we received updates on new inventory as well as pre-owned pianos, but still our budget didn’t allow.
In March 2017, my husband gave me “the budget” for my perfect piano” as an anniversary gift, so we looked on Craigslist for pianos, and we visited 2 stores with restored pianos. The pianos were all in questionable condition, even though they were presented as “like new”. We decided to visit another local store in our area and our experience there was extremely negative, the salesman that greeted me started critiquing how I played, and was unfriendly and rushed us. We decided to call BOBB’S Pianos and told them our budget. Within a few weeks they called and said they had a brand new baby grand Kawai piano right on our budget. We drove to Palm Beach with our children and were greeted as we were old friends. It was joyful for them to see me play the piano they had found for me. I said “this is it”, but being a logical buyer, I decided to give the other store a last chance. So, we went back to Broward and visited the other dealership again and found a pre-owned piano EXACTLY like the one I was about to buy from BOBB’S Piano, but with a $1,500 price difference. I was so excited! I had found a great deal under my budget!!! It was all great until the salesman came up to me and said “if you don’t buy this piano, I’ll sell it to the lady that just left”. I really liked the action and sound of the piano, so I started to panic. I called my husband and he was very upset to see the salesman using emotional pressure as a sales tactic. Since it was pre-owned we decided to make an offer to the store manager, whom from the distance just yelled “it’s not going to happen”. Both salesman and manager were extremely rude at that point. I was determined to purchase the piano, so I tried to convince my husband. He started inspecting the piano and realized the piano had paint sprayed all over the top. We both panicked. The salesman at that point said not to worry, that he was going to “do us a favor” and have it perfectly clean if we leave a deposit.
So, we left a deposit. As we left the store we were both upset and “the joy” of purchasing our first piano was gone. We thought about it for a day and decided to go back up to Palm Beach and play the piano from BOBB’S Pianos. We were happily greeted by Tim. We told him what had happened with the pre-owned piano and were honest about wanting to save the extra $1,500. He understood and explained the condition of the pre-owned piano we were considering to buy. After playing the brand new Kawai baby Grand and the way Tim and everyone at BOBB’S Pianos treated out family, we decided to purchase the piano from them. The piano was delivered the next day to our home and it was the happiest experience ever! Buying our first piano from BOBB’S Pianos was an amazing experience!!!
My two year old Kawai electronic piano (my second in 30 years from Bobb’s) was damaged in moving. I want to commend Lance L, the gentleman who installed this piano about two years ago, for making the needed repair today. He was professional and personable. I can highly recommend Bobb’s for your piano needs.
We bought a piano here a year and a half ago and we are satisfied with the one we bought. Good customer service. No sales push. On top of all that, they also offer free piano exchange.
If you’re going to consign your piano with this company please learn from my mistake and don’t.
I’ve called numerous times to ask about our piano that we consigned THREE years ago and I’m told they still have it. I find that hard to believe. The last time I called the gentleman said that “oh yeah, it’s right here on the showroom.” I asked him for a picture of our piano in the showroom so he could prove he still has it and guess what? I never got a picture.
Not only will they take your piano to consign but they have no interest in paying you what was agreed upon in your contract. So, Bobbs, how do you want to proceed with this because I’m done trying to get your business to do the right and honest thing.
Horribly rude staff was inexcusably mean for no reason. Maybe was having a bad day but I’ve never seen such harshness and attitude
Very rude man that came up to us. Went in there because we want to buy a piano but we were just looking right now and I told him that I was just looking and he just stands right in front us without saying for a few second then says “looking for what a refrigerator?” , didn’t even ask if we needed any assistance on what we were looking for or any sort of help.
18. Chafin Music Center – Now Music & Arts
Address: 608 N Dixie Hwy, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
Nice shop, good selection and friendly service, very much preferred over other PBC shops
They have great prices, but they are awful at repair. I went there 4 times for the same exact problem that was never fixed
good to have a place to go that really knows how to work on instruments. I brought my old clarinet for restoration and they did good job.
I wish they had someone with luthier experience. I wanted to learn the viola and I may be a beginner but I took the time watch YouTube videos on how to handle the instrument. The employee’s there touched the bow and now it doesn’t make a sound! I’m stuck with a non working Viola until my rental period is up! The employees and owner need to make an effort to understand each instrument.
19. Guitar Center
Address: 510 Linton Blvd Suite 105, Delray Beach, FL 33444 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
I can only speak in respect to the guitar section of their store, but out of all the Guitar Centers in the Palm Beach County area, I feel like this one is generally the most well-stocked, and has the greatest variety of gear/accessories. The employees have always been helpful when available.
Great store with friendly staff.
Been a customer for almost a decade. Airways taken care of there, no matter who is working. Always get the best deals here.
Great staff. Pretty good selection of instruments.
A very nice store. Not enough acoustic and classical guitars
Great service and reasonable prices.
Went there to find stands for my speakers.. They only have the cheaper Proline models.. I’m willing to spend more money on something more expensive, they said sorry we can order it through our website, and my reply was, sorry I can go home and order it through eBay, and even go online and ask opinions on the best models.. Sorry, you guys, I can find a much bigger section online, and you people wonder why retail is dying.. Put a bigger selection into your stores, and I’ll buy from your stores, because I would rather buy local, but unfortunately your local stores NEVER have a good selection, so I’m FORCED to go other routes… And people wonder why retail is dying?????
This place is very disappointing. Online is worse. Go to Sam Ash. Better service.
Literally standing at the front waiting to buy stuff for 20 minutes, no one even said we’ll be right with u or anything. Meanwhile everyone is standing around doing nothing.
20. Village Music Wellington
Address: 10410 Forest Hill Blvd, Wellington, FL 33414 , Palm Beach County , Florida , United States
Stopped in by chance this week. I love to see family owned music stores like this, and was pleased to meet with the owner. He is very knowledgable about his products and has priced his guitars quite fairly (and he carries a fairly broad line in all price ranges).
I have not yet purchased, but have already seen my next guitar. And, I will be coming back to purchase.
Update 7.9.14
Purchased a Seagull – Natural Elements from Steve about a week ago and I am loving it. The guitar is beautiful in both sound and appearance, just be sure to have Steve check the height of the strings. He will adjust the truss rod to increase the playability of the guitar. I love the guitar and I really appreciate Village Music!
Great music store, fantastic people, and they do amazing work!
First time here tonight and I absolutely love it! The music is so good! Tonight was Indigo Dreamers. Perfect for date night or to shake off the bad joujou of the day. We’ll be back for sure.
Me and my wife are living in Palm Beach county and we are travel lovers and we like to taste different food flavors, also we enjoy to know new places in our neighbor and far to, for that reason in that occasion we visited village music cafe where they have good prices, good branches and quality, the staff is very nice and helpfully, the place is clean and organized, and you can do everything by the website. If I help you please push .
Very nice, well stocked new music shop with a good selection of guitars, acoustic & electric, plus accessories. People were friendly and welcoming. I’m not confident that the cafe makes sense, and cannot imagine why I would ask the music instrument sales guy to brew me an espresso. Maybe in the future it will be more music and less cafe (instead of 50/50)? Overall a very good experience. I wish them great success!
Great local music talent.
The owner would not stop bragging about encounters at nam. It got to the point where we stood for over an hour and did not once get to see an instrument although we were there to view acoustic guitars. And then after he was done “sharing” he stood up and said “I have to get ready for my gig”. We did not once ever get to see or play an instrument. Do not recommend.
Went in to have a coffee and a bite to eat. Sat at the bar for 15 min and never saw a single person.
Looks like a nice place but if that’s an indication of how they treat customers it’s not good.
Hours say you were open. Drove 30 min for nothing. Thanks a lot. Idiots.
