A great local music shop. They have a high quality selection of guitars, amps and accessories. Taylor and Mesa Boogie dealers. I’ve brought 3 of my guitars in for set-up. Quick turn-around and reasonable prices.
Very clean. Beautiful instruments.
Great location, expert staff that educates customers, does great repair work, including setups, repairs — Fretwork, wiring, pickup replacement, etc. Simply the best technicians I’ve ever dealt with.
There aren’t many repair shops around anymore, and this one is the absolute best. Check it out.
Used to have great service and great selection
It’s helpful to have a store like this in the area, but service leaves something to be desired. Customers should be served in the order they come in, not based upon how pushy they are. A simple “who’s next” goes a long way
I have been bringing my guitars here for a few years , the guitar tech is knowledgeable and conscientious. I learn something new each time I’m there, I would consider him one of the best in the bay area. The Staff knows the products they carry and is friendly.
Brought a bass with a maxed out truss rod to see if they could put a spacer in it. Their repair guy called me a few days later telling me that the truss rod was fine, and that it just needed a proper setup. I go get it and in the shop it looked fine with the action a bit high but okay, but when I got home I discovered that it was tuned half tone down, so no wonder it was fine: less tension, less bow. When properly tuned it still had the problem. So, don’t trust your repairs or setups to this store.
We’ve heard good things about this place so we thought of giving it a try. We went there to rent an instrument but they said the one they have is being repaired. We asked for a return call once it becomes available so we can get it. Five days later and still no call so we decided to call them. Then they said it’s no longer available as someone else already got it.
2. Consumer Music
Address: 1017 Tennessee St, Vallejo, CA 94590 , Parkway , California , United States
Quirky decor, great selection of guitars.
Full service: lessons, rehearsal rooms, & knowledgeable staff.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Super cool guys.
Thanks for fixing the guitar guys. They have a friendly staff and really know their stuff.
Thanks guys for keeping this store up and running in our town for long time and for your “Fusion Fridays” that are the few opportunities we have in town to perform live.
Your prices are competitive and the several years you have in this bussiness have helped you to have what we really need with the security that you allways back us up .
Thanks also to the owner(s) that have kept his bussiness up and running against the super competitive world of the “unknown faces of the internet no warranty world”
Good job! and for our neghbohrs : please buy localy
It was pretty cool in there… Kind of pricey… But they offer classes nn
Great place to learn music at all levels, all the staff / teachers are patient and are very passionate about what they love about music and teach.
I called to inquire about the repair of my ESP Ltd Bass Guitar yesterday and spoke to an employee who was condescending and rude. Truthfully, you can receive better customer service and more informative musicians at Guitar Center then this dump. I’ll never come back.
Also, prices are outrageous compared to any online source and this shop should be taken as a last resort. They never have anything in stock.
Took my very first guitar in to get worked on. Agreed to have a few things done, setup, saddle change, tuner change and BRAD offered to bevel a small hole under my truss rod. THIS MAN did 1/3rd of the work he charged me for, NICKED AND SCRATCHED my guitar, then DIDNT BOTHER TO CALL FOR A MONTH do-not-bring-anything you care about to this guy, he is a salesman, not a musician.
Total rip off…never again, known Brad since forever and he totally ripped me off…several time’s…$$$ mean’s more to him than friendship…never again!
3. Music Go Round
Address: 944 W Robinhood Dr, Stockton, CA 95207 , Parkway , California , United States
This place is great! I have purchased many different guitars, amps and pedals through the years at Music go round. I highly recommend it for anyone from beginners to professionals as they always have great gear in stock! And even more online! I now live in Nashville and still use gear purchased from this store in the studio as well as the honkytonks. I appreciate Tim and his team and passion for music, guitar and good business! Hard to find now days, definitely wouldn’t get this kind of service at guitar center, reverb and all the others out there. Thanks for all you guys do!
Seth was awesome, easy to work with on a gear trade! Very knowledgeable and no BS. Spoke with Tim, also easy to work with! Will be returning SOON to buy more gear!
Nice environment and people
It is okay but does not have a great selection But the economy is not great right now People are nice friendly needs to improve.
Staff is always helpful, pricing is sometimes high but you can haggle sometimes. Will continue to buy from them when the need arises.
Music Go Round is just as the name implies. It is primarily used instruments that are resold that generally in good condition. They don’t carry a line of new instruments that I’m aware of but the service and especially the guitar tech is excellent.
None
Sorry won’t be doing anymore business I sold my practically new guitar barely used like really barely only got $30 including carrying case like really. You are still making profit off of it and the bag. I guarantee you will sell it for $80 not including bag.
This place is a ripoff. The tubes for my $700 amp cost $130 a set and they offered me $200 for this tsl601 marshall
4. Music Exchange | Piano Store in Dublin, CA
Address: 7704 Dublin Blvd, Dublin, CA 94568 , Parkway , California , United States
This is where you should buy your piano. The owners are great people, super friendly and helpful. They helped us find a beautiful used piano that fit our budget.
Apparently this place is by-appointment only, but the man working the shop noticed me hovering by the door and he let me in to try the pianos on display. They’re all pretty beautiful, and I would certainly stop by again if I actually had the money to buy one of them.
Since today, I went to Music exchange with my mom and I saw a guy named Gary Finkelstein and he is ver nice and a good piano player and I was good playing on the Yamaha CVP-709 and I play styles. They have Movie Soundtrack, Ethereal Movie, Choir Soundtrack, Wild West, String Concerto, Choral Hymn, and more styles in it. And I like the CVP-705 and CVP-709 because both look good.
I like this store a lot. I’m from out of town but when I visit they’re nice enough to let me play on any of their pianos. They don’t sell sheet music but have a few books you can use while playing.
Gary and Mary are pleasant and helpful. Pianos are a big purchase item and it’s nice to have people who will take the time to guide through the process. Ultimately I purchased a used piano through a private owner, but wouldn’t hesitate to make a deal with Music Exchange if the circumstances warranted.
Nice showroom with lots of beautiful pianos. Gary was super helpful. Only complaint is they only carry Yamaha digitals, so can’t compare to their brands. That said I think Yamaha makes me of the best.
Be careful of this place, especially the after sale service. I bought a piano a year ago and it started to have quality issue, which I called the store several times to request the service under warranty. The store had many excuses and did not schedule the service or provided me updates for weeks. People there are very impatient and impolite when I called to check the service request status.
It is really sad that I have to give a 1 star review but all support ends after you have made a purchase. They say that if you buy a piano from them, the first tuning is free. We got our piano from them almost a year ago. After calling numerous times, and trying to get our piano tuned, and giving my phone number as well, I have never gotten an update or a call back. Every time, Ron, who is very nice to talk to, will say he will get someone and then nothing – no call back, no update. This has been extremely frustrating. I have been patient and understand there is some labor shortage etc due to Covid, but this takes the cake. I wish I had gone with a different business to buy our piano
5. Ingram and Brauns Musik Shoppe
Address: 3160 Santa Rita Rd # B4, Pleasanton, CA 94566 , Parkway , California , United States
Friendly and efficient service. Wide range of rental equipment available.
Very friendly and helpful staff!
Came in on a busy Sun morning to rent a violin for my daughter. Very efficient – rental agreement was online and quick. They let us choose between two violins, but we’re newbies and didn’t know the difference. Bought a shoulder pad for $20 and adjustable music stand for $12– I think it was cheaper than Amazon. Pretty happy to support a local business, especially when the service is excellent. I felt the rental price was reasonable, too at $20/month
I’m super happy I found a rental instrument/ music shop in Pleasanton. It’s a cute mom and pop store. It’s a pretty popular place for locals and parents who wanna rent instruments for their kids. It gets pretty busy.. so be prepared to wait for help from someone, esp when it’s school season. The location is convenient. There’s music lessons here as well.
We have been standing in line for at least 15-20 mins. The guy behind the counter is talking and chatting about when he was in high school, showing the customer different damaged violins, and literally taking forever. I can tell that the gentlemen behind the counter are super friendly and customer oriented, but there is a long line. We have all been waiting forever!!!
I thought this place was better around this area. Now I found out that they are very greedy. I rented a flute for the whole school year. As the school ends, I returned on the same day when my billing cycle starts. Spoke to the owner who answered my phone as well. Apparently, I was auto charged around 5:30am in the morning but I returned the instrument at 3pm. Though they got the instrument back, he told me that he won’t refund for the fact that I was late for few hours and still charged for the whole month. It doesn’t sound fair to me at all. I would think twice before I go to this store again.
Zero star. I was there with my child. I believe it’s the owner’s son that I spoke with. Pure sarcasm. Was very sarcastic towards me in-front of another customer. Staff was much more respectful and responsive in answering to our inquiries. He could just answered us properly instead he was very rude.
6. The Music Store
Address: 66 W Portal Ave, San Francisco, CA 94127 , Parkway , California , United States
Went in here for the first time this weekend. Great selection at fair prices. Very friendly and knowledgeable owner working when I visited. Lucky that this is only a couple stops away from me on the M line, look forward to visiting again soon!
Music stores are a rarity, so visiting my local music store was quite a treat. They have a wide selection of vinyls, CDs, DVD movies, and even blu-rays. Many of the vinyls aren’t necessarily collector’s favorite. Many of the covers that come with them have seen better days but they are offered at a very reasonable price that even competes with eBay prices. The guys behind the counter know their stuff, so if you need something they might have it in inventory so just ask!
Wonderful music and video store (CDs, vinyl, VHS) with a friendly owner.
As a teenager, I use to hang out at the local Tower Records, digging through records to find something to add to my collection. This place allows you to look and hopefully find that old album to add to your collection. They have both old and use CD’s and albums. The key is taking the time to looking through everything they have.
Very knowledgeable guys in the guitar room, they knew exactly what I wanted, even though I didn’t.
Comfortable enough to stay and dig forever!
Why, but why don’t you post online you are closed for a week???
7. Steve Deutsch Woodwinds
Address: 560 1st St d100, Benicia, CA 94510 , Parkway , California , United States
Bought my main instrument from Steve many years ago. He took the time to help me find what was right, patiently and carefully, and as a result, it’s still may favorite instrument. He listens, pays attention, and helps his clients zero in on what they want. 6 out of 5….
Has a large selection of fine guitars and bass
If you’re into playing bass, this is where you want to shop. Steve is extremely accommodating, and I spent two and a half hours there trying different basses with different bows. Steve’s approach is solid. He provides information, and then leaves you alone so that you can hear the bass that you’re playing… Finding and purchasing the right bass or bow can be a time-consuming experience. Steve’s approach makes it much easier, and I will definitely shop there again!
I put my guitar on consignment with Steve about 2 years ago. He lent it out for long spans of time without my permission and eventually sold it without informing me. Then he said he needed the money for his own bills, so he couldn’t pay me. He’s obviously got problems that should keep anyone from trusting him. I’m taking him to small claims court over it.
9. Starland School Of Music
Address: 1631 Park St, Alameda, CA 94501 , Parkway , California , United States
Truly enjoying my time here! My violin teacher is knowledgeable and very encouraging when it comes to learning new things. The staff are always helpful and very friendly. Honestly one of my favorite parts of the week is going for lessons.
Our daughter has been taking piano and flute there for the past few months. She absolutely loves it and has been getting really good!! We have been extremely happy with the experience and the results. She really loves music so it has been wonderful to find a place that is fostering that love within her. Sign up early because scheduling can be a challenge but it is well worth it to wait for a slot there.
Hi this review is for Aimee, she helped us with the enrollment procedure. She was very amicable and answered all our questions. She helped my daughter to set up her goals for the voice lessons. She was very encouraging and engaging in her conversation with my daughter. We are looking forward to the music lessons.
Lesson quality was good taken on their own, but didn’t see the kinds of overall service, communication or results that merit the high prices and complicated cancellation policy.
10. White’s Music Center
Address: 100 E Caldwell Ave, Visalia, CA 93277 , Parkway , California , United States
Had to get 2 instruments, staff very helpful, greatful for their terrific service.
Everyone at White’s have always been so friendly and helpful. They always help me find the right gear for my son. This time Mario found the perfect alto to fit my son’s
wants/needs and my budget. Thank you!
Muy bonito
Great and helpful!
Great service! Wish there was more selection but their wide expanse of all types of musical knowledge is unmatched in the area.
Low inventory. Cluttered. Go to guitar center.
Be careful of the instrument rental contracts here, very shady. There are many other options to rent instruments from places nearby, and I would recommend going with a place like Guitar Center over this one if you want an honest and straightforward agreement. We were told by the owner, Robert, at a rental night that we pay monthly on the balance until the value of the instrument is paid off. When automatic payments stopped getting charged, we assumed it was because the instrument was paid off. After a year, we got a notice from a collections agency saying we owed almost $1000 in rental charges, without any prior notification from Whites music that there was still any kind of balance on the account. Whites music claimed that the reason charges had stopped was that the expiration date on the card expired, and that we would have needed to go in and state that we wanted to own the instrument or we would continue to be charged for renting. The owner, Robert, was very rude to us on the phone and hung up on us when we asked questions about the music contracts. Other workers there said the person in charge of sending out notifications of the account being past due had recently been fired and refused to say anything else about the notifications not being sent out. One worker, Joseph, stated, “Are you in the habit of not reading the fine print on contracts?” in response to inquiries. If you rent from this company, you need to read carefully and keep careful records. Their contracts are set up in a way to take advantage of people, with a stipulation in fine print saying that you have to take additional measures then what is told to you on first signing. Furthermore, they are not afraid to lie about their services or speak unkindly to customers. It is apparent that Robert sees his business as a way to make money and that is all. He does not care about his customers, and he doesn’t care to run an honest business.
Update: After reading the owner’s reply, you should know that they did not lose money on this deal. This is a shady comment in itself, because they are referring to a small fee that was paid to the collections agency for them taking on the account. White’s Music received a payment in rental fees of over $400 from myself and the trumpet was returned to account for the other fees. They made hundreds of dollars as a result of this deal, not including the value of the trumpet which they can now rent out again. The owner also mentions the contract continuously as a reason why it is okay to behave the way they did. My dilemma has, and continues to be, that I received no notification of any late fees before being sent to collections. This dilemma was never responded to and the owner did not make up for this oversight. This company did not go out of it’s way to help me with this matter. They took a lot of money from me and did it in a dishonest way. If you notice, the owner makes no mention of hanging up on me, being rude, or the comment made by the employee about how I should have read the fine print on the contract more carefully. This business believes that it is established and it’s long-standing history with the community can make up for poor practices, and that as long as something is written into a binding contract, they can swindle people however they want. Just because this company once had an honest reputation in years past does not mean it continues to be that way.
I ordered a piano book from this store and was told it would be there in two days. When I called to see if it was in I was told to call back. Well it’s been about 10 days and no book. when I called to ask about it the guy said still not in,.when I said do I need to go somewhere else to get it, the jerk says sure we’ll just cancel your order. Thanks a lot for wasting ten days of my life and now my granddaughter has to go to piano practice two weeks in a row without the supplies she needs!
11. Guitar Center
Address: 4254 S Mooney Blvd, Visalia, CA 93277 , Parkway , California , United States
Friendly, helpful, got to point of the product I was looking for. Fast and efficient!
Nice
Love this place. Great service.
Love this store
Pretty nice size with nice people
Almost, always has what I’m after.
Just make sure when you spend about 5 or 6 Grand it’s what you want they offer half for any trade or deal’s you try to make
Terrible customer.service. I walked in… walked around the store twice… looked at a guitar for 15 minutes walked up to the counter… never once was approached… never once asked if i could be helped. i stood at the counter for2 minutes while 3 employees just talked with one person (I don’t know if it was a customer or their friend). I went on Amazon and got the same guitar for less and rec’d it in about 3 days
They need to upgrade their software to make payments is almost 2022 wth
12. Music & Arts
Address: 24451 Alicia Pkwy Suite 9A, Mission Viejo, CA 92691 , Parkway , California , United States
Friendly staff good prices and they are very informative about the products
Went into this store for the first time just two weeks ago; Dave was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful with our Adult son who was interested in guitar lessons as well as re-stringing his guitar. We were given a tour of the store which is fully equipped with studios for voice, guitar/strings, drums, and keys. The store is well stocked and beyond reasonable with their price points. We walked out that first time with only a set of guitar pics. Went one week later with our guitar for re-stringing anda strap. Casey was wonderful, and walked through the process slowly for my son to watch and learn. We got more information on upcoming classes and lessons. There is a small, nice place to sit and watch lessons via closed circuit screens for people with children in lessons. This is such a great place for any beginner or seasoned musician needing equipment. Love the location and the staff, this is our new music home!
Came here to rent a clarinet for my 6th grader, it was quick and easy. The gentleman who helped me was very friendly and helpful. When it came time to return it, a different gentleman helped and he was also friendly. That process was also quick and easy! I’d definitely come back when the time comes.
The good reviews here do not fall in line with my experience at all. And they sell instruments yet have no basic knowledge about them at all. Completely unhelpful
I really want to give y’all a good rating, but I don’t understand how I can provide formal approval for my flute’s repairs, and then proceed to have to approve two more times over two more months because someone, somewhere keeps not actually putting the paperwork through? I expected a timesink since repairs take a while, but to have had my flute sitting WAITING for said lengthy repairs for more than two (three by now?) months despite me approving it three! separate! times! because someone just didn’t click a button is extremely disappointing!!!!
Do not rent your music instrument here, it’s a nightmare.
13. Kenny’s Music School and Shop
Address: 24731 La Plaza, Dana Point, CA 92629 , Parkway , California , United States
I LOVE this store!! I’ve been coming here for over a year to make copies and fax paperwork. They are soo helpful and personable. Bobbi is a ROCKSTAR!!
Always a great experience here. They are never out of stock on supplies, employees are always helpful, never more than 5/6 people shopping at a time. Quick in and out. This is my go to office supply store.
Staffs are always super helpful and that’s excellent service.
Great in and out location
The customer service here is superb! Even when I wasn’t looking for help someone offered and when the staff was extremely busy they did their best to accommodate and be available for anyone in need. One thing that stood out the most was, after completing my transaction, the cashier, seeing my hands were full, offered to take my bags and walk me to my car! Yes she literally left the register- with no other customers waiting of course-, grabbed all my bags, and escorted my daughter and I until we were all loaded up. I excused her multiple times but she insisted on helping, leaving me beyond grateful. Also, Shout out to Mr. Romni, their tech guy! He and his crew are amazing at their job. Fyi, they fix computers too.
I go to Office Depot for the low-priced USB flash drives.
Extremely slow and rude copy service.
Overpriced
Overpriced. Everytime I go there I end up paying more there than at their competitors for the same products.
15. Dana Point Music
Address: 24699 Del Prado Ave #B, Dana Point, CA 92629 , Parkway , California , United States
Best service. None of the big chain stores come close.
So far so good!! My daughter really likes Gigi!
We went in for a viola mute, and although they didn’t have one, the woman called 4 other music stores trying to find one for us! We were blown away by that and have committed that whenever we need something we’ll be going to Danman’s Music.
We also have several family friends that send their kids to Danman’s and have nothing but great things to say about their teaches – in vocal, guitar and piano.
16. KYR Music
Address: 14560 Pipeline Ave, Chino, CA 91710 , Parkway , California , United States
I needed copies of a C. D. I have of a family ancestry. And 4 out of 4 places I called on for help. Not ..one of these major stores could help me. Finally someone from Best Buys suggested I try a music store & recommended KYR MUSIC IN CHINO. So close to my home too. Richard there was So helpful & accommodating!! He up loaded my C.D
& Emailed to me.He then explained to me & wrote instructions on how to send ALL this information on family history to some relatives via e-mail!! I,m kindof computer illiterate when on my computer. Richard WAS wonderful in helping me & solve my problem & would NOT ..ACCEPT ANY PAYMENT from me. He was so nice to say the least!! I will always recommend him & KYR MUSIC STORE. GOD BLESS THEM!
The best teachers ever!
Excellent service , first time was there for violin rent. Andrew attended and all well, daughter was so happy with all things. Recommended.
租了半年的 ,学了几个月 。
体验不错,
Love this place . They are so helpful, specially Andrea. My kids are coming to Kyr for 7-8 years. There coaches are great.
Very nice staff but the policy on instrument rentals is crazy. My daughter rented an instrument and paid for 2 months. She was unable to use the instrument so we returned the instrument 3 weeks later and they could not refund me the difference. This instrument was scratched, damaged and USED.
I will not be going back and telling others to go somewhere else.
They are terrible the manager ROB charged my debit card without my authorization. I no longer rent with them and returned everything back. Very unprofessional. My bank is dealing with them now. I will never go back to them again crooks .
They never have anything I need. They are always sold out. I’m a student that is in concert and marching band and they do have half of the things I need. I prefer you to go to guards music store.
17. Sacramento Antique Faire
Address: 1 Sports Pkwy, Sacramento, CA 95834 , Parkway , California , United States
A Sacramento favorite for sure! A wide selection of everything that falls under the Antique Faire “umbrella” with prices to match. Come with cash; negotiate your own prices.
Great cool stuff.
Great Antique origineel book prints Found everything I wanted. This guy Michel Brinkman is also on Alameda antique fair.
Lots to see here
Always fun to take a walk and look at the items that people find valuable. I’m not an antiques person so I go more for the people watching. Nice way to spend a Sunday morning.
Cool store tons of stuff.
A utter waste of time, and my money walked around entire venue in 5 minutes, nothing of interest
It was interesting to experience an antique fair like this one. There were some vendors with good items. Mist of it was trash though. I have gone to a lot of antique shows and thus one is by far the dirtiest. Word of advice to the vendors, clean items you intend to sell. Also, don’t put it out if it’s not for sale. We won’t likely return.
Low value high entrance fee 6$
18. Bellflower Music Center
Address: 17125 Bellflower Blvd, Bellflower, CA 90706 , Parkway , California , United States
They repaired my cello string for $30 which was less than what I though it would be so I’m happy
Por los estrumentos y mi hijo le gusta ese lugar, u buen servicio
The people that work in Bellflower music centre What is very professional very nice End knew exactly what they were doing
I didn’t know this place was here! They have alot of instruments. Today I bought some more patch cables. I’ll be back!
Bought a used bass guitar at Ash and I love my new axe. It was reasonably priced and plays beautifully. The salesman was pretty easy to talk to. They have a professional roadie service they try to sell you, don’t need it but if you’re interested give them a call.
Really fast and efficient service
Little hole in the wall
Owner has very bad customer service she refused to allow her employee to help me by saying that they were to busy but I was the only customer in the store at the time she also speak to her employees in a very rude manner I been a customer for a couple of years and always had a great experience with the employees I think the owner can learn something from her employees maybe she should stay in the back room and never come out I will no longer shop here and I will make sure none of my friends and family that I always recommend this place to will not shop here either
We have always found the staff friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Bellflower Music.
19. Styles Music
Address: 777 E Foothill Blvd, Pomona, CA 91767 , Parkway , California , United States
Buying a new guitar can be daunting and intimidating, especially if you’re looking to branch out into something new and aren’t really sure what you’re looking for. After spending a few awkward hours playing poorly maintained & out-of-tune Fenders & Gibsons at the bigger stores (GC & SA), I finally stopped into Styles music.
The selection is smaller, but actually way more varied (who needs try 30 Squires when they all feel the same anyway). Also all the nice stuff isn’t hung up 15 feet on a wall, so I got to play way nicer stuff than I did elsewhere.
On top of that, Greg & Lou are not only super knowledgeable, but super helpful as well. Greg put a few guitars in my hand I wouldn’t have considered, and I ended up loving them! They were also super patient; I made three separate trips to confirm the guitar I wanted, and they even let me bring my rig in during my last visit to make sure the guitar sounded great with the rest of my set.
I’m loving my new PRS, and they even gave me a good deal to trade in some of my old gear as well. I can honestly say I have zero buyer’s remorse, which is not common for me. Thank you Greg & Lou!
Lou and the staff at Styles Music are true professionals. The customer service and pricing are absolutely unsurpassed! I just dropped in to look for a used acoustic guitar and was shocked to see how great the prices on NEW acoustics are. Suffice it to say that I couldn’t pass it up! A giant “Thank You” to Lou for pointing me in the right direction.
If you are looking for a fantastic deal from REAL musicians who actually care about their customers, look no further than Styles Music. I promise you will not be disappointed. Personally, I couldn’t be happier!
Thanks again, guys!
Always have a good experience every time I go in to the store. Staff is very friendly and always accommodating.
Took my guitar to get adjusted and have new strings added. Get my guitar back with a string that was put on in such a way that i cant even use the string -.- string isnt even able to make anyguitar sound-___- as shown on picture ,third string was put in with no care );
both guys are great people,I have bought guitars, strings, accessories and also they have worked on my guitars.A-1 service all the time .I would recommend them
Walked in to find some ukulele books to learn and to play some music. They were a litter hard to find but I’m glad with my purchase. There isn’t a huge selection but there are some starter books so I’m ok with that!
Bought a vintage guitar from this store that ended up having buzzing issues. Not thinking much of it I had a few techs look at it, all three techs stated and even showed me how bad the neck was warped, a long term issue from improper care. In hopes of returning a bit after their return policy since the issue had been there to begin with, they held their return policy ground, said their guitar tech looked at it with no problems, and even had the audacity to tell me that I not only needed a second opinion, but that the situation was nothing but buyer’s remorse! As if I don’t buy and sell guitars for a living. Seeing another review here about bad tech experiences here..I would normally say this tech needs to stick to basic restrings only, but apparently can’t even do that either. I wrote a very understanding and forgiving email about the issue and even offered an exchange for a different vintage guitar they had, trying my best to give this place a second chance..and not only outright refused me but added insult to injury claiming the neck warp was nonexistent. Thankfully I was able to sell the pickups for more than half what I paid, and plan on using the body for a custom project. One of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had the pleasure dealing with. Completely insulting. I, nor anyone I know will buy from this store again.
Really unprofessional to me as there customer. Sold me a used amp that was broken.
Check your used gear before you sell it!
Told me they would fix it, free of charge and possibly throw in some gas money! The amp would be done in about 4 days. Awesome!
3 weeks later! Excuse after excuse, they than surprised me with 60$ Charge when i went to go pickup the amp. Not ok!
If the amp was completed in original time frame, i wouldnt have cared about the 60$ charge.
Styles music you still have the ability to correct this, i hope you reach out to me.
The guitar tech here is totally incompetent. I have a tech that does amazing setups elsewhere but he has been away due to medical leave. I had brought in an instrument to be fret leveled and the guy here was using the fret rocker completely wrong with the strings on. He told me he couldn’t do anything and that I should wait for my miracle guitar tech. I’m glad I did not do business with these jokes.
20. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 10355 Trinity Pkwy, Stockton, CA 95219 , Parkway , California , United States
They do a great job considering how people trash the store. Prices are good. Store is clean. Workers are friendly and helpful!

Yes I like to shop at Walmart is a great place to shop at they always have a clean store any good sales
To crowded and not enough workers. They used to be open all night which was convient in emergencies, but now they close at midnight.
They just throw employees on the registers without even properly training them. I was making a WIC purchase and she didnt know what she was supposed to do. Not only that she didnt even know how to ask someone for help. I work in a grocery store myself and have had experience doing WIC vouchers so I was trying to tell her what she should do and just laughed at me like I was dumb. She kept looking around to happen to catch another employee walking by. Another employee opened her register right next to the register we were at so she tried asking her for help who started to help and then another employee who had just got off work started engaging a conversation outside of work. I could say we were waiting for her to process our transaction for a good 20 mins. Not once did she flash her light or call for a manager. Meanwhile my 5 month old baby is crying the whole time and we were just trying to hurry up n get out! Once we were finally done not once did she apologize for taking so long. This was the worst customer service Ive ever seen and worst shopping experience at this store!!!!
