Central Organ has been a wonderful company to work with — Tim, and staff, have been so accommodating in helping St. Luke’s get a new organ that fits both our church, and our budget. Their service has been excellent. I would highly recommend them to any organization looking to purchase an organ.
I have worked with Central Music for many years on a variety of projects and they have always delivered a first-rate product. I currently play a Rodgers hybrid at church and enjoy a Johannus Vivaldi at home. I love both instruments. Their customer service has always been first-rate and consistent. I highly recommend this organization.
Wonderful! Staff members are very helpful and determined to help you find your perfect instrument.
Bad customer service, very rude
Owner stood over me questioning about my income. Felt very unwelcoming. She claimed to do a lot of work with the church, but should probably read the Bible again. There are better piano shops where people welcome aspiring musicians…
We are looking for a Silent Brass system for our son’s trombone, the newest one the SB5X-2, and found MrSilverTrumpet online. They had the best price anywhere and we got Priority Mail as there free service, so we had the system in hand in just two days!. Thanks for the great service.
We found MrSilverTrumpet while searching for a Silent Brass trumpet system, the SB7X-2 by Yamaha. Forget Amazon, eBay, and Reverb. Their prices were lower than any of them and other competitors. So, we gave them a try. Great customer service, we got a quick delivery of our silent mute, and it was a genuine Yamaha product. This is the type of small business I like to support, and they are also authorized Yamaha dealers.
4. Steinway Piano Gallery Clearwater – Formerly The Music Gallery of Clearwater
Address: 5990 Ulmerton Rd, Clearwater, FL 33760 , Pinellas County , Florida , United States
The gentleman attending my wife was kind enough to help her with her piano repair. Because of his help we will (hopefully) have a very very merry Christmas with music from the family piano again. Thanks so much for your generosity! Feliz navidad!
Music Gallery is run by great people and who are actually musicians. The elder, handsome fella was so helpful. No high pressure car salesman techniques used here.
I’ve even gone back and asked for their expertise in high end pianos that I needed in my line of work. They’re happy to help.
Exceptional assistance in finding the right piano for our family. Jonathon & Charlie share their expertise with patience taking the pressure out of the process. The whole Music Gallery team are professional and kind-Bryce & Anthony moved our pianos with a smile! Their selection of piano’s fit any budget yet all are inspiring instruments. Highly recommend!
They have wonderful piano from upright to baby and grand pianos.
Lots of nice pianos.
Nice but very tiny parking for music recitals
For CHARLEY (Says he’s an owner) I’m not one to write reviews but I’ll put this out there for anyone who enjoys BAD customer service. If you want to be treated rudely and get disrespected then this is the place to do business! Ask for Charley at the front.
I’m sure the place is great if you’re buying a piano. It’s just one of those experiences where, if you’re not a dollar sign, you don’t deserve respect type of things. I was just helping my parents sell their old piano because they were moving. So I called around, these guys popped up first in the search. The guy didn’t sound too enthusiastic when I told him I had an old piano to sell. fair enough I suppose. Sent pics and he said not interested, which was fine, no problem there. So I asked if he could recommend me some options. You know what he said? “It’s an old used up piano” No one wants it the cost would exceed the value (which was true yes) Then he proceeds to say “Just the truth”. Like really bro? You had to put it like that so rudely? That could’ve been said a million other ways without having to be condescending. I called another place up and they didn’t want the piano either, the difference was that they were professional, kind and actually gave us some information on where we can donate and even helped setup up a time for a pickup from the donation center. VERY helpful. So my 1 star is directed toward the rude, disrespectful guy who was also condescending to me, just down right rude. He didn’t see profit, so he didn’t feel the need to reciprocate respect. He was just a jerk. Tweeted it to my 300K+ followers and made a Youtube video on my main channel on snobs like this guy. On the plus side, this gave me an idea to create some content on Youtube. The ad revenue I’m going to get is definitely going to exceed the cost of this experience. Worth it.
My wife and I visited this place today and found the staff inattentive and non-friendly.
I walked around the entire store and none of the staff even said hello.
Walked out very disappointed. 2 thumbs down.
5. Villano Music and Music Lessons
Address: 205 9011 Park Blvd, Seminole, FL 33777 , Pinellas County , Florida , United States
Gave great advice on the repair of my guitar strings. The owner (Mr.Villano), made helpful and insightful suggestions. Very knowledgeable!
My experience with Mr. Villano recently was quite memorable. I needed a family member’s guitar restrung-I did not have any reference but liked what I read on the website so after calling to inquire pricing and hours I took the guitar to his shop on a Friday. He let me know the additional touch ups that he would do aside from the strings. The strap also needed to be re-placed and upon his suggestion I agreed. Mr Villano called me the next day to let me know it was ready! I could tell the difference as soon as he took it out of the case! I don’t play guitar but have always appreciated a ‘fine tuned’ instrument. He also shared with me the history of this particular guitar which was quite interesting! I appreciated the quick turn around and cannot wait for my brother-in-law to pick it up and play!
Thankyou!
Barb Mc.
Great music store, excellent customer service, great music instructors.
Nice staff. Small inventory
It would be nice if they open when they say they will be open…
Called the store to see if they could repair an isntrument for me and as I was calling I also visited their website. The website said closed so I hung up and was going to call back tomorrow. I then received a call from them which I didn’t ask for and I tried to explain why I was calling but the guy told me I was wasting my time. He never listened to what I had to say. I would have not given any stars but that is not an option to post. Rude.
I called to ask what thier business hours were on a Thursday at 1:30pm. The old man answered the phone “Villano Music”. He hung up on me I thought by accident so I called back. The second time he answered with, “didn’t you notice I hung up the phone?” I don’t think he wants his business to last. Go to Sam Ash if you want a courteous person. Wow what a disappointment.
Brought my brand new telecaster in for a setup and the owner did a good job, however when I brought it in a few weeks later to have fret sprout addressed, the owner mangled the high E side of the fretboard. It appears he used improper tools, sloppy technique, and did no protective taping. It is rough, uneven, and he also proceeded to over bevel the frets to almost 3 times the proper length so the string constantly pops off the side. When I brought it to his attention and asked him to pay to have the neck that he ruined replaced, he refused.
6. Dynamic Sound Ltd Inc
Address: 13791 49th St N, Clearwater, FL 33762 , Pinellas County , Florida , United States
Went in the other day as a 1st time guitar owner, and the folks there were very friendly and gracious with their time. Advised me on picks to use and showed me how to tune my guitar (also told me that I had the wrong type of strings for the guitar which I purchased 2nd hand). One day I might sign up for there guitar classes which I hear are great!
Great music store!!
Knowledgeable staff.
Big box retail…just know what you want…
Good prices.
Terrible! I’ll never be back here again.
I gave my daughter keyboard classes for Christmas, she paid for them and there was no problem until the following month they withdrew another month of classes from my bank account without my authorization and when I spoke with the person in charge of the classes he told me that it was not his responsibility . Not recommended.
I’m a lefty player who came in to buy an amp. They didn’t have a single left handed guitar in the store so I couldn’t even try the amps out. I asked the sales associate if they had anything at all and he said “Nope.” I would have to bring my own guitar in to try out their amps. I came with the intent to buy. Lost sale.
8. Seminole Music
Address: 11920 Seminole Blvd, Largo, FL 33778 , Pinellas County , Florida , United States
Mike May excellellent left handed guitar teacher great attitude and very patient.
Employees are very nice and helpful. Stopped in on black Friday for the deals. Got 2 free lessons with my guitar purchase for my son. I’ve been to all the bigger guitar stores and the prices are bigger too. These guys have the best prices!
Loved it. Very nice, professional, and very happy with my purchase.
Local musician here, I bought a pair of sticks here in a pinch before a gig. They broke before my first set was over. 10/10 will not be back here for any gear. 2 stars because the guy behind the counter knew they were cheap sticks.
Keep up the good work!
Went to check it out – it appears to be out of business!
One of the best up and coming music collectives in the Florida area. A very accepting crowd who all has one goal in mind; making music to make the world a better place.

Upon the reopening of the Clearwater Sam Ash store during the COVID-19 experience, I took my acoustic guitar in to be restrung, battery changed, etc. They hadn’t yet brought back their guitar tech. But the manager of the guitar department offered to do the tune up for me. That was very thoughtful! The job was completed in two hours and was wonderfully done!
I want to thank Sam Ash for always being helpful, courteous and kind. Stepping into their store in Clearwater is always a pleasure. And I always feel well-taken care of and never ripped off. Sadly, in this case, I am moving to South Carolina soon and will be hard pressed to find a music store on the same level as Sam Ash. When I return to visit, you can be sure that I will stop by the old Kapok Tree Inn and say hi to the Sam Ash staff! Thanks for all your help.
This was just a quick stop for a new capo. Fast, helpful service.
That was a great 4th of July sale!
Bought an electric guitar and amp a couple of weeks ago. It was an impulse buy. I already play acoustic, and after playing the electric a few times, I realized it was going to hang on the wall a lot. I returned everything yesterday and wanted to get a higher end acoustic than what I already had. They took the return with no questions asked and then patiently assisted me for 2 hours as I played several acoustic guitars to find the one I liked. Good experience.
Lots of products, decent service, a little pricey on guitar string installs. It used to be cheaper. Now $30
They have everything, I like this place for it’s helpful staff. Never had a bad experience.
Made the deal over the phone -price, model, etc. Yet it took an hour and a half to get in and out with the keyboard. Sales staff did not seem knowledgeable ( I actually took one customer they couldn’t help and helped her pick out a keyboard for her daughter, and I’d only been playing 1yr!)
They never gave any advice nor suggested accessories (Had to go back for a stand).
Not impressed.
The gentleman who rang us out was not helpful at all. I wasn’t able to listen to the speakers before purchasing them. And with him caring less he gave us the oh well I’m sorry. He didn’t even ask if we needed cables or anything for the speakers, when I asked where can I find some cables he just pointed at the rack and said they are some there. I work In a customer service carrier and the way he just didn’t care about the customers needs, completely left a bad taste In my mouth. He acted as if he didn’t care to help the store make a sale. Come on guys, you guys use to be place that everyone wanted to go to. But I guess the only way for management to be aware of the issues they have is by someone saying something. They only two guys that where super friendly and helpful was the greeter and the gentleman who walked us to the recoding department. I hope the next time that gentleman will be more attentive to his customers and less on his phone and help them with the sale.
Upon taking a many mile drive to Clearwater in the rain in search of a affordable starter drum set we found that the service of one particular lady here was rude and horrible, going elsewhere to find a drum set now, bad customer service on this trip.
12. Monument Music LLC
Address: 970 Lake Carillon Dr #300, St. Petersburg, FL 33716 , Pinellas County , Florida , United States
My son played so many trumpets……this is definitely not Sam Ash. The owner was attentive without being invasive and really helped my son narrow down his choices to three. Then he played each in the practice room as long as he wanted. My son finally decided on a Sonare 900 series and he could not be happier.
Excellent friendly service!
Excellent, top notch service and quality. Beautiful instruments and accessories with knowledge staff. They also do great repairs.
17. Arc Music Inc
Address: Clearwater, FL 33756 , Pinellas County , Florida , United States
Great store with huge selection. Staff was very helpful
Great place, highly recommended especially for vintage stereo, vinyl and more.
Great vibe in here…. Love all the posters. Wish they had more vinyl
Good selections
Don’t come here unless you know what you are looking for. There is simply an overwhelming amount of stuff that you can quickly get distracted. I can spend an hour in there just thumbing thru things and still not feel like ive looked hard enough for hidden goodies. CD’s, VHS, Cassettes, Vinyl, graphic novels, collectibles and everything in-between. Prices are good to fair and the people are friendly.
Absolutely will not buy here again! Face masks are not required if there are less than 10 people in a location and those persons are maintaining social distancing.
Persons who are exercising and maintaining social distancing also do not have to wear a face mask. There were less than ten!
Lot of old stuff, could.find anything interesting in used. New records seems overpriced
went in because Seminole music closed and I knew Daddy Kool Records sells guitar accessories so I wanted to ask if they did too. I ask an employee leaning against a case on his phone, and he looks at me like I’m an idiot and says “no were a record store.” Rolled his eyes, and walked away. I was gonna look at records too but after that I just walked out:
Edit: I was smiling in shock because this dude was rude. He never said the second part of what you describe, stopping at “were a record store.” So i think y’all are the dishonest ones. You can say whatever you want but when someone has an attitude you know it. Really professional way to handle this too guys! Insult your customers who have already been wronged by your staff
20. Moe’st Everything Muse
Address: 5208 66th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709 , Pinellas County , Florida , United States
Great service, Mo is a true gent and knows his stuff. You’ll find some hidden gems here and you’ll definitely have a great conversation about gear, music and life.
Great shop, and Moe’s the best.
Moe seems like a really nice guy. Great prices, not a music store that’s going to gouge you.
Moe seems very knowledgeable and does repairs. Also he has a connected studio.
I’m definitely going back.
F Guitar Center.
Shop local.
I know Moe personally and he will go the extra mile to make you happy and give you the best deal possible.
