Bought a new bass and bag there today. Great experience. I got to play a number of different basses so I could get an idea of the sound I wanted. Wasn’t rushed. You can’t beat the knowledge, service, and selection. Great for other acoustic stringed instruments (violin, viola, cello) and some electric.
We visited Miami String because my son was ready to upgrade his violin. I loved how patient Charley was with my son, letting him play each violin and guiding him with the right questions and suggestions. We also appreciated how he made us part of the process! He did the same when it was time to select a bow. He told my son exactly what to look for in feel, balance, and ease of play. It was a learning experience! In the end, it felt like we were in an enchanted place and my son is thrilled with his new violin and bow. Definitely recommend Miami String! My son says that they had really good violins, it wasn’t easy to narrow it down to one.
if you want a viola, violin or any other stringed instrument you have to visit them
In my personal opinion owner is a narcissist. Extremely unprofessional and unethical in their interactions would strongly not recommend. The most unprofessional business owner I have ever interacted with.
When consigning my violin and selling my bow I ran into some minor issues with cashing a check.
1.) When calling the business and trying to find an alternative resolution the owner tried to extract money from me falsely stating that a check costs 150$ to cancel, acted in a condescending and haughty manner as if his time was the most valuable thing in the world. Tried to and attempted to extract money from me and weirdly accused me of trying to cash a check twice. During my actual interactions with him in person- several times berated employees for taking too long to inspect the violin, consistently displayed a contemptuous, haughty attitude.
2.) They failed to advertise the violin online for the actual consignment. Owner was very aggressive in his pursuit of me consigning the violin probably because he has no intention of actually trying to sell it. When expressing concerns about the contract they failed to make any alterations, and after retaining an attorney it is abundantly clear that they took advantage of me.
These are extremely dishonest and unethical people and I would steer clear from doing any form of business with them.
Enthusiastic staff, great selection, however people need to know about the billing department. My advice to anyone dealing with the billing staff is DO NOT give them any other credit or debit card numbers to cover your monthly bills. They will use whatever card they can with or without your permission.
Had an issue with my “real” credit card that I provided for billing purposes when I signed my contract and used my debit card to cover my monthly payment in the past. Fast forward to today, where I emailed their billing department stating that I had some financial issues and would be able to forward the whole payment to them within a week (my next payday). 45 minutes after sending the email, I look at my online banking and find out that they had already debited the funds from the debit card today presumably because they payment wouldn’t be fast enough.
I understand that they are running a business, and that we are contracted for the monthly payment. However, most of the people renting instruments are parents renting them for their children, and parents occasionally fall on hard times. A business that thrives on parents business shouldn’t make them have to choose between a monthly payment to them and their light bill… oh wait, I didn’t have any choice. Just taking the funds from any account that they might have held onto the debit card number from is devastating to families in some circumstances. Currently I will be left with next to no money until my next payday.
I am considering returning the instrument immediately because of this, if only to get them out of my life.
We love Miss Jane! We’re so lucky to have her so close in our neighborhood. I’ve taken my son to her toddler and preschooler classes, and now my daughter to the baby class. It’s a sweet, fun, low-key group class (and a nice way to meet other parents). Planning to keep taking my kids for many years to come.
We love Ms. Jane’s music class! It has been an amazing experience to watch my baby grow into a toddler and see how music has such an impact on brain development in young children. I learned my little guy likes to bounce and rock and needs to do it! Ms. Jane is an expert in her field and we are grateful for her and her classes!
I’m not sure who loves Miss Jane’s music classes more, my toddler or me. At home, she regularly starts singing, dancing, playing instruments, doing hand gestures or talking about friends from class. We’ve met lots of neighborhood kids her age, and the classes help teach social skills using the activities. If it works for your schedule, the unlimited package is a great deal. Highly recommended.
I went on the service call at this place. I wasn’t to fix their a/c. I noticed that they have tons of old records from way back, dj. gears that fit your dj. set equipment, ECT. Cool place, y’all check ✔️ it out.
Seems to be closed down and the number is out of order too.

they price match pretty well and have been around for a while. Been going here for years. I wish they had a separate room for direct monitoring in which you can take a pair of studio monitors and do a/b comparisons between them.
Great experience as it always is! Top notch guitar repair tech. Sales people always knowledgeable.
Great customer service. Decent prices. Wonderful experience. Would highly recommend paying a visit.
The brass repair area was difficult to find even with directions… The sign over the hallway says bathrooms. Otherwise, great experience! Everyone was nice and helpful.
Great customer service. Great percussion professor. He is very patient and encourages you to continue practicing. On the other hand, Sam ash must get a faster and more efficient software to register students and/or pay for items, and/or return items. The store should have another attendant for questions and answers from the public. It is a long line and waiting period to go through. It is too lay back of a management style for the price point of products, classes, and other store’s competition.
The service was on point, The crew was very courteous as you walk through the door . The items that I needed they had it in stock.
I am a combat veteran dealing with severe PTSD. As I walk to the door after making several purchases with my wife I get stopped by a female who apparently seem to be one of the employees. She was not an employee and she had stopped me because apparently she had lost her phone and she thought it was either me or my wife that I began to feel extremely easy as the employee would call the phone to make sure that the phone would not ring on either me or my wife is cost of your anxiety to me as I had to leave the place as I started to shake with memories and flashbacks of combat this was the worst experience of my life . They said that they were stopping everybody but they had allowed another two females in the mail to leave right past us. That causing or letting me know that they were provided me as a Latino or an African-American this In the Sam ash in Miami Gardens
The worst experience ever. Poor customer service, bad attitude and rudeness is what I experienced at Sam Ash Hialeah because I was completely unlucky, the store man was studying piano guys! And he didn’t pay attention to the customers at all. Besides showing a full ignorance about the products and components was 100% arrogant, like he was doing me a favor. Guys, don’t go to Sam Ash Hialeah, is like traveling back to the communist stores in Havana where you mean nothing. If you enjoy being ignored and treated like s…., Sam Ash Hialeah is the best place to go.
Absolute worst experience ever(0 stars). Purchased a couple demo lighting products, after a week of asking what the delay in shipping was, they hadn’t even been taken down yet, and I was told they didn’t have boxes for them. I then canceled the order. After a week, I get an email saying that I might get an email saying the items were shipped and to disregard. I then get an email from customer service saying they are handling my “case” that should have been over-with…4 days later, I get a credit card alert saying my card had been charged, and the customer service guy I spoke with told me he never heard of Steve T. whose signature says he is General Manager?? What kind of operation is this?
There is no explanation why I was charged, but it will be 3-5 days for a refund.
First and last time I will ever order from this company. Don’t waste your time or money….
Having worked with him before, Mr. Vazquez did a great job of teaching and being patient with me, despite my limited skills at the time. I prefer a one-on-one teaching approach, so this was exactly what I needed. That said, I personally learned a lot and did better than I anticipated. Thank you for a job well done.
My daughter started taking lesson with Mr. Gottlieb-Vasquez at the tail-end of June and over a period of 2 months, she made great progress . Mr. Vasquez is a professional in this field and has a lot of patience to teach, which is a plus. I highly recommend Mr. Vasquez to anyone who is looking to learn the piano and most importantly, the right way.
He is the best!!!
I’ve know Eric for some time, and have learned more about music composition, appreciation, composer histories, teaching methodologies, etc. than I can remember! Nonetheless, I appreciate the source of knowledge he is. His love of the art is wide and deep. He is demanding in his expectations and standards, and this can be intense – but this is also the standard of anyone I’ve met with a love for classical music.
Demanding, but an excellent source of learning. I marked “Good Quality” above because of the love he has for music.

Great service. Staff extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My son takes guitar lessons there too. He has a great rapport with his coach and is learning a lot.
Shoutout Jonny for helping me fix some
issues I’d been having with my classical guitar. I will be back in the future and will recommend my friends to come for any of their guitar needs.
I brought different kind of basses, acoustic, fretless and fretted, for repair, adjust, change, etc.
John was always patient, competent and of very good advice.
The results of each project were beyond my expectations every time.
The prices were below my expectations too
The Guitar Nook is the place to go from now on.
Much better than Guitar Center. But unfortunately they don’t repair amplifiers.
3 stars because it’s mostly a Fender shop, small, cozy, nice, but Fender
Use to fix all my guitars there, and buy guitar accessories plus many guitar lessons for my son. I referred many people there and my son did too. Until one day I trusted their judgment on an electric guitar case by Fender. It broke in less than a week and now it’s still falling apart. I went for an exchange; the answer: “Sales are final” -showing me the sign. “Contact Fender, that’s not our problem now” I tried to contact Fender, no answer so far. I tried to help their small local businesses; now I buy online!
One sales rep was extremely dismissive.
I gave them a second chance with a repair. The second rep was nicer, but misquoted me on the repair at a very low price. After doing the work, he told me it was more.
He compromised.
Unfortunately, the work (saddle/intonation set) was done without glueing the saddle at all, so it was never actually set, the work was never actually done. I basically got a glorified string change.
Absoluterly terrible guitar tech… Hired him to re-work the sottering on my guitar. I showed him the back open so that he could have a solid idea of how difficult it would be and that no surprises would show up. First we agreed on $40 cash (which is not only more expensive than guitarcenter but I would assume he wanted cash so that he could avoid the owners cut). He said that he would call me in two days max… I called the third day and said that it was $50. Also said that the guitar was done yesterday and so I went to pick it up. He shows that the potentiometer (volume knob) wasn’t working and that he didn’t really check it…. after suttering the electronics… Anyway he says that he’ll work on it and the day after I pick up the guitar (without the old potentiometer) and once I start recording with it, the know feels super loose… low and behold the picture provided…
Listen I love competition and its the main reason why I went here. But do yourself a favor and avoid the guitar tech….
17. House Of Hits Recording Studio

House of hits is da dope studio. The vibe is dope and the engineers are all on point.
Nothing short of amazing. Been here before, came back today and coming back again. Professional, clean, exciting and superb quality sound and treatment.
Cool studio wish more was included for the high rates.
Customer Service was fine. If you’re a more conservative person certain things may not be your preference. But over all they’re ok
Customer service is terrible , lack of commutation. Unprofessional. vibes were way off. Felt uncomfortable didn’t even do the session I just let them keep the deposit. Not worth my time and maybe not yours
Don’t waste your money there is much better even if they offer endless reviews they cannot achieve what they promise. Metallic sound repeatedly said that there were cut words and it has not been solved. Sound engineers are not real. They sell like vinny himself doing mixes and masters but that’s not the case!
Requires to pay for,A recording and publishing.

This is an amazing place the only one. There’s no places like this. An exclusive store guitars Better find out for yourself.
Came in simply looking to buy a couple guitar picks as I am learning to play the guitar and Frankie was kind enough to gift me a few. The store has an unbelievable selection of guitars, will definitely return when I’m ready for an upgrade!
For 20 years I searched for the one that got away. The one that the tone, the feel, the look was just all me. I lost mine in Pawn in 1989 when I was young and dumb. Never seen another like it in good enough shape or unmolested to pull the trigger on. Until now! I just received my Washburn A-20 in Ohio from Miami vintage Guitars and I could not be happier with the communication and service. If I could give 10 stars I would. Bravo
Great collections of guitar
They told me my guitar was worthless and gave me $125 for it. Then proceed to listed online for 2900. That is not how you do honest business.
here at 3:15 on a wednesday. nobody’s here. and I called first, and was made to believe this is a store, while to me it looks like a loading dock. absolutely horrible traffic in this area.
