Places like this are so rare anymore. It’s a treasure.
The owner is super compassionate about music and hopes that everyone can find there own love for it
Great service and inventory! Love my new guitar.
Bob is awesome to work with and very knowledgeable. Has a great selection of used equipment.
Bob & Robert are awesome. Great little music store.
Nice Selection of instruments, courteous service
I will never do business with them again. We had taken an alto sax in for pad repairs and it too over 2 months to be repaired and then were charged outrageously for it.
I have personal issues with the owner/operator
Do not bring your instruments here for repair. I brought my violin in to be repaired and it was completely ruined by the worker. All it needed was for a small hairline crack to be filled. Instead, the repairman decided it would be better to sand off the varnish and stain which is impossible to replace and match to the original. Although I liked the store before this experience, I cannot forgive this kind of decision making. This would have been avoided if the repairman had simply told me how he planned on repairing the violin, but he did not.
Amazing store, affordable products for amazing music supplies and extremely friendly owner.
Very smart owner.really great advice
Carl rented me a digital keyboard for five days while I was in town for a vacation. He charged fifteen dollars a day, but waived the first and last days because they were “partial.” I’m very grateful to him for accommodating me and trusting me with the instrument. His store seems cozy and well-stocked. It’s located on the hill west of the old town and can easily be spotted (on the north side of 160) by the cluster of bright red roofs at the edge of the woods. Stop in and see what he can do for you.
For a small town, this place is amazing. The owner knows so much and has helped me as an artist. Nice instruments for good prices. But this time I only needed some drum sticks, that where less than expected, I may add.
Carl has opened a beautiful new shop!
Very knowledgeable, nice selection .
Musical equipment is overpriced amazon deals from Christmas. Owner is a nice guy, but was clearly just trying to sell more expensive items over cheaper arguably better ones. “Handmade” strings snapped within the hour, I have a hard time believing the Ernieball strings would have any problem. Sadly though I listened to the worker who assured me that they were the worst. Overall I recommend just driving to Durango you’d end up saving money and not being treated as if you haven’t been playing guitar correctly your entire life.

Stoped into this shop today driving through town today on a whim and ended up picking up some killer albums. They actually have an amazing selection and the dude that helped me out was super cool and helpful I totally recommend stopping by.
Great store, with some really unique and interesting items. Paul is awesome!

He genuinely cares about all different kinds of music and truly wants everyone who comes in to find there place in the music world. Amazing customer service and an amazing addition to this musical town.
I am so glad this store is here,a great place..
Cute store pack with tons of things.
Good local music, guitar store
Jimmy’s music was very nice store however seemed understaffed.
Had my mind set on buying a new piano keyboard and supporting this local music store in Durango and to know that the workers (maybe even the owners) don’t know how to treat their customers is very disappointing. When I walked in I wasn’t greeted, even after a few minutes I wasnt asked how I was doing or IF I NEEDED HELP FINDING ANYTHING. I know what you’re thinking “maybe he was busy” nooooo! Because there was another worker there and no one else was in the store. I wasn’t addressed or anything until I was about to leave. I know I’m an adult and maybe I should have just asked him myself but if I’m gonna spend a few hundred dollars at your store then I’d expect to be treated like it let alone be WELCOMED INTO THE STORE! But my question is why? Did I not looked like a serious buyer? Was it cause I was wearing a mask? Or was it cause I was brown? My questions are valid and justified through the actions of the workers. Sad to know that people are treated differently for whatever reason. Such a bad impression on the community and very disappointing experience.
They did not have what we were looking for.

Helpful staff and a very clean store. They have great stuff and their sister store, Finer Blessings had great stuff as well.
Clean, organized, fair prices, friendly staff. What you really look for in a thrift store. Thanks!
Awesome..
Great thrift store…nice people…lots of clothes. Good place to find misc stuff and sometimes sporting goods
This store closes so often it is unbelievable. I have stopped by at least 3 times this year to find it closed at random times. I don’t live in town so this is always completely a waste of my time.
Prices r outrageous for used items. Can go to Wal-Mart and get item brand new for the same price.
Some prices are high for a thrift store.
Only if you want to pay retail for a used item $25 for used purse wasn’t even name brand and it was plastic. a person could go to JCPenney with a coupon and get a brand new purse for half the price of their used one.

Wonderful food we had breakfast there it’s amazing
Excellent breakfast, coffee, iced tea and atmosphere!
Great service. Delicious breakfast.
They have good breakfast buritos
Food is a little different but it was good!
Quaint spot with beautiful outdoor seating, good pastries and coffee
Sadly disappointed. I stopped here because of the great reviews for some coffee on the way to Utah. I ordered 2 lattes and the milk was burnt which ruined the overall drink. I watched the barista level the coffee grounds off with her finger.. the wait time was a bit extreme for 2 drinks when it wasn’t too busy. Definitely not worth $5/drink.
Been there 5 times now and every time we receive very poor customer service we ate in the cafe and we had ordered to go out the door and she closed down and refused to give us what we ordered to go every time I’ve gone there it’s just extremely poor customer service they’re extremely slow it should never take 40 minutes to make a coffee breakfast was over by the time I received my coffee just like I said the prioritizing is way out of whack they don’t know how to take care of the customer somebody needs to give them some direction and that place is going to stay in business why should I continue to go no matter how good the food is if the service is so extremely poor
30 minutes per cup of coffee…
15. Rainbow’s End Thrift Store
Address: 154 Adams St, Monte Vista, CO 81144 , Rio Grande County , Colorado , United States
This is a great place to visit a couple times a month to see what they have gotten in.
always some gr8 bargains…I purchased NWT a George Strait button down shirt last week for $6… not junk.. Month ago another button down men’s shirt, UNTUCKit, new with tags, $20… suggested retail on this shirt is $65 …
My favorite place to shop!!
very nice store, neat collection and well displayed, clean
Lots of merchandise and friendly staff.
Nice second hand store…some things are. overly priced.
Prices are off, somethings there you could buy brand new for the pice of their used stuff. They try to sell some computer games where the product key is already used rending the item usless.
Mean people…I’ll never go there again. No bargains.
I’m writing this review to inform others and the management that the shopping carts in this store are very dangerous for children. They are top heavy and tip easily. Several months ago a cart tipped with my son in the child seat and he flipped on to his head. Today, the cart tipped again, luckily with no one in it but it hit my son as it tipped onto it’s side. Now I hear from our babysitter that the cart has also tipped when she was in the store, with a small child hitting his head. I asked the staff ‘how often does this happen?’ and got: ‘I’ve never seen it’. Well it’s clear that some of the staff have seen this before and at some point there will be a serious injury. Management: if you replace the carts I’ll change this to 5 stars.
16. Music Go Round
Address: 8055 W Bowles Ave #2C, Littleton, CO 80123 , Rio Grande County , Colorado , United States
Great customer service! A last-minute broken pickup in my guitar left me scrambling to get it fixed before an upcoming weekend of gigs. I dropped in to this store not knowing what to expect. Brian and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful, even going as far as to call other shops to find the pickup I needed. Brian did a great job on the installation. I was playing my guitar the very next night!
Music Go Round is my number one place to get music gear, the place is very nice and the employees and the boss himself are very kind, friendly and awesome people. I can highly recommend spending your money here. All the employees are competent people and clever people.
I stopped by with my 12 year old daughter looking for a bass guitar. The staff was friendly, attentive, made sure we had space and time to play a number of instruments, and checked in with us just enough to make sure we were okay. For a music store, it was a really comfortable experience. They had a really nice selection of used instruments and gear in decent shape. Now I have to convince my kid we can only buy one bass instead of the four that she liked.
I’m an old-school bassist and a lefty, and worked at a music shop for years when I wasn’t gigging. I felt right at home at this place.
Staff is a great bunch of guys who have a grasp of what’s what about musical instruments. It used to be a good place to sell your used appointment. I would give you a a decent price but nowadays they won’t even give you a price better than what a pawn shop will give you. I’ve noticed in last couple of years their prices have gone up. They don’t negotiate the prices, which puts customer at a disadvantage Because condition is a huge part in what you pay. I will still stop in and check their inventory. But not as often as I used to.
Very knowledgable and helpful
Great shop! You can expect to pay a little more than average for used fear here, but they are VERY thorough with inspections before they buy. You can trust you will get good gear. Use as a last resort for selling though. They will give you next to nothing for your used gear. They have to make money right. Overall, staff is very friendly and helpful and new gear rolls in pretty consistently which is good and bad news for those of us with incorrigible G.A.S.
I contacted the store online before buying the product online to make sure the store could deliver it within my timeframe. They assured me they would.
Now it’s the eve of their 2nd missed shipping opportunity and I won’t receive the gear in time. I had to purchase the item new and pay for overnight shipping to make sure I got it in time.
Between the purchase and now, the store had gone radio silent, despite my sending an additional email requesting information.
The upshot is that I purchased the gear through a reputable online dealer and will have my gear by Wednesday (today is Monday), rather than whenever the staff of this store decided to get around to it.
Btw… “Sorry dude” doesn’t cut it. Hope the store manager processes my refund with a greater sense of urgency and professionalism.
Nice selection of instruments. Prices are on the high side for used equipment. But what really cemented my decision to never go back is that, of the five employees in the store, not one approached me to see if I needed any help. Save your time, money and effort. Go to a different music store.
Was just in the store upgrading my daughters amp not realizing you close at 4pm. Innocently thought you were open till 5 atleast like most places. Besides the miss understanding with hours. You don’t turn off the lights on your customers while they’re about to make a purchase. I come here alot and have always been treated with respect. But turning the lights out on us was a pretty low and rude move. Basically felt like you were all saying FU to us!
If you can play or sing in front of an audience you should atleast have the confidence to make an announcement that you’re about to close ahholes!
17. Big River Music
Address: 117 N Main St, Creede, CO 81130 , Rio Grande County , Colorado , United States
Breakfast sandwich was great and super fast service. Prices are good as well. Really peaceful place to grab a good bite to eat.
Deli turkey sandwich on a warm bun is so good. Drinks are very pricey but food is good.
Needs a waitress, and a little bit faster service, not a “order her” sign and this place will flourish.
The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. I had a burrito and the meat was tough and not flavorful. I wouldn’t stop there again.
The “panaderia” was exactly what I was looking for – authentic Mexican sweet breads. The wi-fi and the delicious quesadillas were an added bonus. Friendly service, clean and quick; I will definitely be back when in the area.
They got our order wrong, then they tried to overcharge us. Food was alright but the wait very long for sandwiches.
We got lunch around 11:30. We waited an hour for 2 orders of huevos rancheros.. when we got our order it was literally just 2 soggy corn tortillas, 2 hard eggs and some beans. No cheese whatsoever or chili. I could have cooked that at home in less than an hour.Never going back.
There donuts are cold, hard, and full of grease. Tastes like they made them days ago and refried them.
