Great customer service! Nice selection of guitars. Will definitely be back.
I’d “pick” this place for all my guitar needs. Very helpful and friendly “staff”. Don’t “fret”, the prices are good, and they won’t “string” you along.
Great selection with great owners!!!
Large selection!! Beautiful instruments!!
It’s a shame places like this will be going out of business soon. If they would have what I needed or was interested in like certain pickups or more interesting pedals and better guitars this would be an awesome place the last time I went in there the walls were filled with Nashville guitars and they had a couple good electrics but literally every acoustic guitar hanging on the wall was a Nashville guitar and I was looking for a Taylor or Martin but I’ve never seen anything like that in that store I go there to buy picks and strings but that’s only because they don’t have a guitar store in Talladega. When they don’t have pickups I need they asked me if I want them to order it but in this day and age I can just do that myself and get it for cheaper because looking at the price of the looper pedals they’re not buying them wholesale they’re buying them straight off of a website and marking the price up.. The people are super nice I hate giving a three-star review but I’m just being honest.
Nice place. Good selection conveniently located.
Walked in today to look around and from the moment I walked in the door, the older gentleman (I guess the owner?) had his eye on me and was watching me like a hawk, made me feel unwelcome to be there. He asked if I was looking for anything in particular and when I told him very politely he didn’t have what I was looking for he arrogantly told me “I opened this store in 1973 and everything you see in the store is priced the same as you’d get it online” like ok bud I wasn’t complaining about the price you just don’t have what I was looking for. When I told him I wasn’t looking to buy today, and was just looking around he made a sarcastic comment about “well if you’re not buying, we can just put this back on the shelf” ??? I continued to walk around and look at some more product and he continued to watch me like a hawk until I got in my car and pulled out of the parking spot. All of my musician friends have recommended I don’t frequent this store, and I can honestly say, after that experience, I will not and will tell anyone that asks not to either. Lousy excuse for customer service.
I read reviews for this shop and thought it was an honest place to sell my gear. I walked in with an Epiphone AJ 220, with an Epiphone molded hardshell case I bought seperately, and an Epiphone “Snake Pit” 15w practice amp. ALL in like new condition. She plugged the guitar in and it was only the fourth time it had ever been plugged in. I never put the guitar in the case without wiping it down first. Look everything I listed up for yourself, and you’ll see what I lost. I messed up and let the lady know that I was in dire need of money for my family. The old guy asked where I bought it, and when I told him, he said he’d lost alot of business to “places like that”. No. I looked around the shop, and all he had was used gear that had been repaired and put up for sale. Junk. My guitar was the nicest instrument there! The reason he’s losing business is because he’s trying to sell junk and beating people in need out of what their instruments are worth. The lady acted like she was on Pawn Stars! If I hadn’t had needed the money really bad, I would have told her where she could stick her $200! That’s all they gave me for everything I brought in. Look up the items I listed, and you’ll see I did my part to support this business! The reviews I read must have been friends of theirs, because they definately misled me. Not fair at all.

Clean store. Helpful staff. Good prices
Convenient.
Usually quick in and out shopping
Very friendly staff & stocked well
Was there last night back today still lots of inventory not on shelves. Cashier, colored man super nice saved me from leaving disappointed
Only negative is the isles were so full of stock that must isles you literally could not go down. Which meant I spent less money which was good for my bank account. Lol. But did score a good haul on craft supplies.
This used to be a great place to shop, but it is getting harder to get down the aisles and they keep running out of the things I usually buy
Yes
Very slow
Nice place

Eric is a great guy to do business with! He is very knowledgeable with guitars and willing to go the extra mile to help you get what you truly want at a very affordable price! 10/10 recommend Eric for all your guitar needs!
Although the company is in its genesis in regards to breaking into the market. It is responsive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I highly recommend purchasing from DRL Guitars for your next guitar purchase. I can guarantee you will not regret purchasing from them!
Purchased a Nashville Guitars Works 4-string bass from DRL Guitars. The whole process couldn’t have gone any smoother. Excellent communication, fast shipment, guitar was professionally packed and arrived in perfect condition. The bass was exactly as described. Will definitely buy from again as soon as I can make up my mind which model. A++

My son has been with Lisa 18 months. He had never played an instrument or learned reading music. Eli can read music like you say ABC. How in the world Lisa has taught a leftie to play I will never know! Did I mention she accomplished most of this virtually? We absolutely love being a part of Psalm Streams. I promise Lisa will find your child’s way of learning and off to the races they will go!
Lisa is a brilliant musician and teacher! The only thing that matches her musical skill and prowess, is her passion for teaching and developing students.

Awesome place. Highly recommended. They take the time to talk to you and discuss whatever you need help with or give an extra opinion from experience. Plus Its great to have a local music shop that isn’t overly expensive or rude.
Rented a speaker for a great price. Sound was incredible for the show
Went in today looking for a nice keyboard at a good price for my fiance. Chevalier productions had a brand new and very nice Yamaha YPG535 88Key keyboard for a great price. They were very informative and extremely professional. They even gave my 2 year old juice and crackers while I loaded the keyboard in my car. I will definitely be back in the future!
Really great shopping great all around
The lady was very helpful & prices are really reasonable even for a single mother as myself! My daughter & I will go back
Good people that try to do their best to serve you. Good prices on everything, always friendly and accommodating.
These guys did the sound at the Singing Showdown in Oneonta, Alabama & I was so disappointed with their sound quality at this outdoor event. The Singing Showdown is a singing competition & almost every instrument or track that played for each vocalist was way too loud. I’m just bummed !
This place is awful. They had my sons guitars for a week and when we picked them up, they still were not ready. They had not checked them or even tuned them and I had to call that day to get them even to work on the last one. They were supposed to fix the pickup switch and they just did a bandaid repair. They just needed to be set up which is about a 30 minute job. These people are the worst. We will never ever use them again.
I took my Ibanez Ps model to them to have a set of push pull pots put in. After it being there for four months, I went to pick it up. He was finishing it up as I showed up. Got home and it did as he said. It was out of phase when both pickups were engaged and wasn’t playing right. Inspected the wiring and found it was wired wrong, and when I removed the nut for the selector switch, it was on so tight it messed up my finish. Currently in the middle of rewiring it
