Without a doubt the best music shop in the entire area highly recommended
Staff was excellent!!! Looks small on the outside but the store was full of great (used) gear – Marshall, Fender, Music Man, Line 6. Ovation, and much more. Lots of sound reinforcement stuff too. Prices looked reasonable. I was told that the stock rotates pretty fast too.Stop by and check ’em out.
Highly recommend this place! A great assortment of guitars, bass, speakers and home audio equipment, old and new. The owner was super helpful and went above and beyond with us. We will definitely be back!
They don’t have guitar strings.
First time in shop and they have a good selection of speaker cabinets, amps and mixers as well as guitars. Plus they take trade in’s on purchases.
cool place. cool staff. good deals on stuff you might not see every day.

Address: 1914 Cogswell Ave, Pell City, AL 35125 , Odenville , Alabama , United States
Amazing staff, high quality music gear, instruments and very knowledgeable.
When I rate or refer a person or place I focus on quality of products and or services, customer service, accessibility, and atmosphere created by the facility and people. The review of 1 star saying just a small music store isn’t accurate, same person gave dollar General 3 stars. Instead of filling a warehouse full of every kind of item imagined making it hard to find what you need, these people filled a warm, vibrant building with the best instruments, prices, services, and love for music and people! I’ve been there broke and wishing, and been there with money to buy, never treated less than the owner himself. Highly recommended!
It’s a shame places like this will be going out of business soon. If they would have what I needed or was interested in like certain pickups or more interesting pedals and better guitars this would be an awesome place the last time I went in there the walls were filled with Nashville guitars and they had a couple good electrics but literally every acoustic guitar hanging on the wall was a Nashville guitar and I was looking for a Taylor or Martin but I’ve never seen anything like that in that store I go there to buy picks and strings but that’s only because they don’t have a guitar store in Talladega. When they don’t have pickups I need they asked me if I want them to order it but in this day and age I can just do that myself and get it for cheaper because looking at the price of the looper pedals they’re not buying them wholesale they’re buying them straight off of a website and marking the price up.. The people are super nice I hate giving a three-star review but I’m just being honest.
Wonderful music store.Friendly staff. Very helpful in supplying me with what I needed from instrument to private music lessons.
It’s a standard small music store. There aren’t a lot of new high end instruments here, but they are all very nice folks.
I read reviews for this shop and thought it was an honest place to sell my gear. I walked in with an Epiphone AJ 220, with an Epiphone molded hardshell case I bought seperately, and an Epiphone “Snake Pit” 15w practice amp. ALL in like new condition. She plugged the guitar in and it was only the fourth time it had ever been plugged in. I never put the guitar in the case without wiping it down first. Look everything I listed up for yourself, and you’ll see what I lost. I messed up and let the lady know that I was in dire need of money for my family. The old guy asked where I bought it, and when I told him, he said he’d lost alot of business to “places like that”. No. I looked around the shop, and all he had was used gear that had been repaired and put up for sale. Junk. My guitar was the nicest instrument there! The reason he’s losing business is because he’s trying to sell junk and beating people in need out of what their instruments are worth. The lady acted like she was on Pawn Stars! If I hadn’t had needed the money really bad, I would have told her where she could stick her $200! That’s all they gave me for everything I brought in. Look up the items I listed, and you’ll see I did my part to support this business! The reviews I read must have been friends of theirs, because they definately misled me. Not fair at all.
Walked in today to look around and from the moment I walked in the door, the older gentleman (I guess the owner?) had his eye on me and was watching me like a hawk, made me feel unwelcome to be there. He asked if I was looking for anything in particular and when I told him very politely he didn’t have what I was looking for he arrogantly told me “I opened this store in 1973 and everything you see in the store is priced the same as you’d get it online” like ok bud I wasn’t complaining about the price you just don’t have what I was looking for. When I told him I wasn’t looking to buy today, and was just looking around he made a sarcastic comment about “well if you’re not buying, we can just put this back on the shelf” ??? I continued to walk around and look at some more product and he continued to watch me like a hawk until I got in my car and pulled out of the parking spot. All of my musician friends have recommended I don’t frequent this store, and I can honestly say, after that experience, I will not and will tell anyone that asks not to either. Lousy excuse for customer service.
5. Kannon Piano Services
Address: Moody, AL 35004 , Odenville , Alabama , United States
Mr. Kannon (accompanied by his wife) did a great job tuning our ancient piano. I really felt like he went above and beyond in replacing a number of parts and was very realistic about the results we were going to get.

Nice staff but they keep it as hot as the surface of the sun inside the store. Great place to shop, better place to lose some water weight.
Live this store and customer service
better than Odenville!!!
Nice store friendly ppl
Convenience.
When they change the interior around which is terrible they have two cash registers but they only have one person real working them I have never seen two and you will guarantee to find a line every time
Quit letting your employees stand at the entrance smoking. Not everyone wants to breathe cigarette smoke. Employees seem to want to be more interested in socializing with each other, rather than take care of the customers.
Freight on the floor. Isles to close together. I found myself turning my buggy around just to get through the isles.
7. Guitar Pro’s LLC

Love this store!!! Everybody is very nice and super helpful!!! Everytime I need a new piece of equipment I come here first. If there was an option for 10/10 I would give it that rating
Awesome staff. Great vibe
Good people, very nice environment, and great prices!
Great people and fair prices. Support your local music store!
Have a decent variety of all different kinds of cords and instruments and the guitars rule great prices too. And the lady in there is always super sweet
Nice selection of new and used guitars. Needs a jam space though..
I bought a guitar for $2,875 from this shop online and they listed it as mint condition. I had to take it to a local luthier to have the frets polished because they were so dirty the guitar was unplayable. The shop refused to even split the cost ($50), wow! Incredible.
WAS our trusted source for guitars and gear.
Took in a Seagull acoustic to have the battery and strings replaced at the end of December 2020(only having someone else do it because of the value of the guitar).
The battery went dead MUCH faster than normal (usually takes 6 months). We are very aware that leavi g guitars plugged in drai s the battery. That was NOT the case here. We took it out and found they had installed a promotional Progressive Insurance smoke detector battery in it. Instead of what we are used to getting, Energizer or Duracell. I called and was told that we should have told them we wanted a better battery. It cost us more than $30 for the strings and a battery replacement. No offer to replace it. The lady said they just use whatever is “handy”. I don’t pay for what’s handy. So much for being Pro’s. If the lady had simply apologized, that would have been the end of it. I wasn’t looking for anything other than to let them know that a substandard battery had been installed. When we brought it in initially, we asked for the strings to be changed and the battery replaced. No one told us at that time that we weren’t being charged for the battery, just that what we asked for was $30, if I had been advised of that I would have either asked for a better battery or brought my own. I hung up when her tone told me how disgusted she was that I called with a problem. As for my other reviews of other businesses you mentioned, I review honestly and fairly. If you notice, I have many very positive reviews of several companies in the area. I managed customer service depts with 4 Fortune 500 Companies in my career. Again, I wasn’t asking for anything except courtesy, which was unfortunately lacking. The lady I spoke with had a “how dare you complain” kind of attitude. (modified for clarity based on the reply from the company)
Accused me of taking out a screw, when all I asked was for the value of what it would cost to fix that. I fixed it myself 16$ out of my own pocket for a new screw, set of strings, and labor on my workbench at home. I thought about going to small claims court, for not selling me a guitar in the condition they claimed on reverb. I’d been looking for this guitar for a while, I didn’t want to just return it. I just wanted it in the condition that I saw it in and felt insulted when they instantly made me out to be at fault even after sending pictures moments after receiving it from UPS and to top it off I even have video of when I first opened it on the CCTV at work. Overall poor online experience.
