Monday – Brought my bass in to be setup. Waited about 2 and a half hours to be told that they don’t do setups in house. I was also told it would take at least a day.
Tuesday – called in in the afternoon and it still wasn’t picked up.
Wednesday – had a gig Wednesday night. Called at 1. Asked if my bass was picked up. I was told it wasn’t yet. I responded sayibng that I needed my bass for gig. Do not send it off. I show up at the store at 7pm that night to pick up my bass. The store clerks tell me that my bass was already picked… At 12 and whoever was wrong. The clerk tried to call the guy who does their setups and it went straight to voicemail. He told me that he could rush the setup and could have it back early Thursday. I decided to just to borrow my guitarist’s bass and pick up my bass Thursday.
Thursday – I show up to the shop at 7pm. My bass is behind the front desk waiting for me. I tell the clerk that I’m here to pick the bass up. He hands me the bass and tells me that i denied service so nothing was done with it. I left the shop with my bass in hand and never stepping foot in that shop again. I’m also sending my students elsewhere.
Update: my bass is chipped…

The staff, however, needs some lessons in good customer service. They are knowledgeable, yet incredibly rude and have a demeaning attitude. God forbid you ask a question about something. They seem frustrated answering questions and have a very “snobbish-you-should-know-this-already” attitude. I’d rather shop online than deal with the store’s employees.
I love this store if there is something that I need to pick up quickly and don’t have time for it to ship, but I would SO much rather shop online. It seems as though I ALWAYS leave there in a bad mood if I have to deal with anyone.
I noticed several of the electric guitars I tested, mostly $400 to $1000 strats, needed a better setup and/or had finicky electronics (scratchy knobs, signal cutting out). I would recommend they do a better job with setting up each guitar and testing before selling.
For instance Maple Street guitars in Buckhead really insures their guitars are set up expertly and they send less than optimal guitars back to the factory, making sure their inventory is all professional quality.
I went to the nearest store which is a 30-minute drive away from my house for a return and they said I ordered a used one according to an order number. They didn’t apologize nor try to understand the situation. They were very rude from the beginning to the end of the returning process. Finally they checked the website and realized they messed up (I clearly ordered a new one and they sent an used one with UR-Used Roland, order number.)
The service I experienced was horrible and the way they treated me was terrible.

Me gustan esta tiendas. Puedes ver variedad de instrumentos. Y si quieres tomar clases de música de cualquier instrumento, este es el lugar. Puedes encontrar diferentes tipos de instrumentos. (Viento, Percusión, cuerda, etc.)
Good selection of accessories
Everyone else was very polite and helpful so kudos to them , their service was good.
If you need to get repairs or looking for new instruments. Go online or guitar center. Please don’t waste your time here. They have no clue how to treat customers.
Also: They don’t have any good equipment for musicians actually wanting to play. If you want some cheap guitars or any other instruments. You wont finde any there worth buying. And they also don’t have any high value gear. Things are over-priced, damaged, and/or not what they tell you it is. The return policy also has many flaws. Don’t come here to try out things. Come here if you want to waste some money and buy cheap quality gear.

I had billing / accounting problems with M&A on two separate instrument rentals. Their rent to own contract is very confusing, not sure why my children’s school recommended M&A. To cap off the accounting issue, M&A does not provide balance or payoff information for your rental. I find it useful to know my rental balance and early payoff balance each month. It helps me make good financial decisions, but I do not believe M&A wants you (the customer) to make financial decisions that negatively affect their bottom line.
I’m curious if M&A will respond to this review. Usually companies with a strong customer service culture do.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering a keyboard, keyboard stand, and stool from Music and Arts, and I must say that my overall experience was nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, this company has displayed a complete lack of competence and customer service, leaving me frustrated and furious.
First and foremost, the lack of transparency regarding the availability of the items I ordered is inexcusable. It wasn’t until I called them in late January to inquire about my order that I was informed about the backorder situation. I wasted over a month eagerly waiting for my package, completely unaware that it wasn’t even close to being shipped.
Finally, in late March, I received the keyboard, but to my utter disbelief, there was no sign of the promised stand or stool. Naturally, I contacted their customer service department to rectify the situation, only to be met with complete apathy and indifference. They claimed that they couldn’t help and that I wouldn’t receive the missing items. This level of disregard for their customers is absolutely appalling.
To my surprise, a month later, I received a second shipment containing another keyboard, stand, and stool. At this point, I was beyond frustrated. Instead of providing clear communication and instructions, Music and Arts remained silent. I waited, hoping they would reach out to resolve the situation, but instead, I received an invoice in the mail, demanding payment for the duplicate order.
Determined to resolve the matter, I called customer service once again to explain the ongoing issues. Initially, they assured me that I wouldn’t be charged and that everything was under control. However, my hopes were crushed when, a month later, I discovered that they had charged my credit card for yet another keyboard. This not only angered me but also meant that I would have to pay interest on an item I never even wanted in the first place.
Attempting to rectify the situation, I contacted their customer service yet again, only to be met with further frustration. They insisted that they would not process a refund until I returned the unwanted items, putting the burden on me to take time out of my schedule to deal with returning their mistakes to UPS. This added insult to injury, as it is their responsibility to resolve their own errors promptly.
To make matters even worse, the following day, I received a bill from a collections agency, demanding payment for the keyboard that I had never authorized. It is unfathomable that Music and Arts would make an unauthorized purchase on my credit card, showcasing their complete lack of professionalism and respect for their customers.
All in all, my experience with Music and Arts has been nothing short of a nightmare. They have consistently demonstrated incompetence, apathy, and a complete disregard for their customers’ time and money. Not only did they fail to provide the items I ordered in a timely manner, but they also made unauthorized charges on my credit card and showed no urgency in resolving the matter. I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with Music and Arts to steer clear and find a more reputable company that values its customers. Music and Arts, you truly suck!

After looking at other reviews, it seems that the owner is just a jerk by nature. I didn’t even see any responses to good reviews, only negative ones. So apparently you enjoy tounge wrestling. I feel sorry for the people that have to deal with you daily. Bless you anyway sir.
Update: Every business was NOT closed. I didn’t call my son did several times. You left a nasty vm on MY phone. And who has no class?? It’s definitely you…

He always touts that blues music is where all music originated from (incredibly false btw) so anyone who has been there in the last few years should know who I’m talking about.
He was trying to make a sale and while I was still playing one that I was actually considering buying b/w ( I was a customer too) he started playing a guitar so loudly that I actually had to get up from the stool I was playing and move. He also moved so close to my stool that he almost knocked me off mine.
The mother noticed my annoyance and said that she was sorry about that and the employee then looked at her and said “no he’s fine.”
I didn’t buy the guitar, left and never went back. I guess because I was a young ish looking guy at the time he thought my money didn’t spend or I wasn’t important.
Don’t go here, the employees only want to help as I would say “certain” people and if you don’t fit that then they don’t want to help you or they basically run you out of their like they did me. Basically if you aren’t friends with them, and are a young guy non female, they think your money doesn’t spend.
Absolutely zero professionalism from that employee and should be removed.
