Best quick stop hut to get food from, like 5 star food for the road.
Chicken Ceasar wrap is amazing, so much chicken, not like other places. Drinks are amazing as are the owners. Rachel and Justin make you feel welcome as if you were at familys.
Everything is good, but the breakfast sandwiches on homemade yeast rolls are absolutely phenomenal!! Always fast and friendly. If im in Salcha, I stop at drips if that sign is on!
Great cafe for soldiers in the field!!
The go to place when I’m on the road south wether work or the treck to delta . Brisket burrito is amazing get there early … Pizzas delicious . watch for weekly specials Employees are friendly no complaints !
Drips is a nice little coffee hut about 2 miles south of the knotty shop in North Pole. Overall this is a quant little place to stop for a coffee, smoothie or something to eat.
Personally I think the food is better than the coffee, but none of it is bad. Service is always good, but Ravens Brew coffee is not a good coffee IMO. The food is tasty and on Fridays stop by for their brisket.
Little pricier than most coffee shops, but it’s in the middle of no where and last place for a decent cup of coffee for 15 miles to North Pole and 75 miles before Delta Junction. But food is worth the stop either way.
Bad call service
Slow service every time
They charge way too much for extras. Good food otherwise.
3. Music Mart & Studios
Address: 413 Noble St, Fairbanks, AK 99701 , Salcha , Alaska , United States
David’s really helpful and sweet. It’s fun going in there. Has a wide range of products and ~3 brands to choose from for the things most people need.
This store is amazing for Fairbanks. I went in to look around, didn’t buy anything but as someone who’s been doing music for 13 years.. I had to go check this out. There is no Guitar Center in Fairbanks, so this is the next best thing and to be honest, it has more than GC. Violins, cellos, old historical instruments, etc. You name it, I guarantee they have it. Great store!
I have been going to Music Mart for over 35 years, and it has always been great. Great customer service and a really nice and relaxing environment.
Not a wide range when it comes to violin accessories. Still a good music store though.
Cute little shop that’s been there forever. Only down was being treated like I didn’t know what I was talking about.
Walter is awesome!
I came in with my dad to look at guitars and to ask a price on his old banjo. I know my instruments and how to find the correct prices on used items. The lady who helped us, gave us the correct price, but she was talking down to us the whole time. I have never seen my dad treated so rudely.
Not impressed by their customer service, although I did get what I needed done, thus the 2 stars. I’ve been a few times over a period of 7 years and both times they were rude. I’ve also known people who have said they were rude. I’ll try Pro Music next time perhaps.
Expensive
4. Pro Music
Address: 300 Front St, Fairbanks, AK 99701 , Salcha , Alaska , United States
Super cool place for music lessons, instruments, and mining equipment. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Even our dog gets excited when we visit Music Mart! He loves that he gets to go in AND they have treats.
Great Place, in the heart of Homeboy Park.
Always helpful, I enjoy the cutosmer service! Rock on Craig
Good selection of mining equipment and friendly helpful employees, never bought music supplies. The owner is unfortunately both rude and condescending. Additionally, the prices on smaller items (pans, screens, matting) is extremely inflated. You can get the exact same stuff on eBay or Amazon for a fraction of the price even if you have to pay shipping to Alaska. It is a shame that a local store is so inattentive to customer service that we have to turn to online stores for mining supplies.
