I recently purchased a pre-owned Baldwin Baby Grand from 9th St. Pianos. Daniel, the owner of 9th St. Pianos, walked me through the refurbishment and restoration steps he had taken. The end result is that the piano looks great, sounds great, and the price was surprisingly very affordable……..much more so than if I had purchased from one of the Piano Megastores near me. And that price includes a very nice warranty period, should any repairs be needed. After purchasing, the home delivery went very smoothly, timely and professional, and Daniel arrived with the delivery to execute the final tuning after the piano was installed in my home. My entire family is thrilled with the addition of the baby grand, and I’m extremely happy with purchase of it. If you’re shopping for a piano, or maybe just trying to find a very nice gift for someone in your life, I highly recommend 9th St. Pianos. The quality and service are great! And you’ll be surprised just how affordable the purchase can be. I would have given 9th St. five stars, but there’s no such thing as perfection, only the ever ongoing pursuit of it. And I think 9th St. is in pursuit.

6. John Guminiak Music Studio-piano and drum lessons-serving Hemet and San Jacinto
Mr G. Rocks- He is such a great teacher! Our daughter started with him this year and every week looks forward to lessons. She loves the piano and Mr. G’s style challenges her every week while adding huge encouragement as she learns. Lessons are filled with laughter and personalized instruction. He finds ways to teach life as he encouraging my daughter to never stop learning nor give up because mistakes and challenges just means your learning something new. One of the best decisions we’ve made. The music that fills our home is more than just and instrument it’s weekly reminders of how life works. Thank you Mr G. your instruction and lesson change lives!
I’ve been a student of Mr. G’s since I was in kindergarten, and now I’m in college! He’s a great teacher and students of his will surely benefit!
My 4th grade son has been taking drum lessons from Mr. G for a little over a year. We are so impressed with how much he has learned during this time! Mr. G is truly a one of a kind teacher! He is so gifted and passes this love for music onto his students. Our 30 minute lesson is so productive and filled with learning, practice, positivity and humor! We absolutely loved the online recital Mr G. put together for his students this past year! We would highly recommend Mr G. as an outstanding music teacher!
Chad, thank you for bringing my vision to reality!! I really appreciate your honesty, integrity, and compassion for what you do. Again, thank you!!
I highly recommend Empire Guitar Works. Chad is very knowledgeable and friendly. Great experience, and my bass has never felt better!
I definitely intend on bringing more of my instruments in for future work.
You may find someone as honest as Chad, but you won’t find anyone more honest than Chad. That aside, his craftsmanship is outstanding, he pays attention to detail on each instrument he touches. We are extremely pleased with how all of our instruments(two Strats, Gibson Les Paul, Iron Label Ibanez, and a Peavey bass) have been treated.
Chad makes our old guitars play better than when new

Friendly and helpful staff. Knowledgeable about instruments and music. I highly recommend Havard Street Music Exchange for all your music needs also it helps our community thrive.
Great music store in Hemet right in the downtown area. Good selection of guitars & bass guitars. I just wish they had a larger drum section with selection of snaredrums & cymbals.
Great selectiob
Record selection is hit or miss but ever growing and well priced
This is a very nice local music store, but it is also a very arrogant and unfriendly place if you do not fit their desired profile. I wrote the owner before posting an adverse review, no response. Too bad, but they are the best excuse for not supporting local business.
Left my acoustic electric guitar to be diagnosed on Saturday for no sound output. Was promised by Jason that it would be looked at and I would receive a call Monday with a quote on the repair. Monday passed with no call. I called Tuesday to check on it and the guy that answered seemed bothered and impatient with me. He said he didn’t see my guitar anywhere in the store and had no idea what was being done with it. He put me on hold for a couple minutes and looked for it, it was still in the store. He abruptly answered saying, “I found it I call you back in a little bit” and then just hung up on me. 3 hours passed and I called back. Someone else answered and said the previous employee had taken it apart and then just left for the day. No call back again to let me know what was being done. Wednesday passed, no call back. I called today Thursday and was told they sent it to their outside technician to fix it, not quote it. I told them to just bring it back to the store so I could pick it up, I was tired of the run around and lack of communication on their part. Completely unprofessional and lack of customer service here. I will never step in this store again!
Over priced on everything…service has gone bad

To acknowledge continued excellent service by your employee, Tony Turner. His positive persona makes shopping at Walmart a pleasurable experience. His conveyance of warmth and hospitality translates into a win-win situation of doing business with a company that cares about its customers. I feel special having encountered his forever-smiling hello, taking action for quick resolution no matter the situation, to keep customer service running smoothly. What a friendly reminder of customer service he represents, revered by customers flocking to seek his assistance as he is known for his dedication.
A returning customer.
It was great excellent service by debbie.
Love going to Wal-Mart in the middle of the night, but now they close early.
Need to have more checkstands open.
Not really friendly employees anymore not helpful at all
It,s got everything at reasonable prices
As usual to hot in there not enough checkers as always
I noticed today they had a beautiful Little Mermaid stand with nice hair products but noticed someone hid it in the corner of some shelves in the beauty section barely visible to anyone and I don’t know why it was out there. If it was done on purpose please teach the workers not to be racist and please put it out for everyone to see. Thank you.
Came in at 1040pm and the line to check out was so long and they had one check stand open. The line went from 14 down to 5. This place doesn’t care about there costumers. I will be shopping Stater brothers for life now.
Every time I’m there the staff is so on point when I need to find a game that check the computer to see if thay have it in stock and if that dont thay tell me te nearist game stop that haves the game and I get the game so if u need a game go to gamestop.
I FELL THAT IS WILL BE ARE LAST EXPERIENCE THAT WE CAN GO IN STORE LOOK FOR GAMES WE WHAT TO PLAY We will be buying online
They are always awesome. Thanks for great experience.
Ok
Stop in
Slow employees
I’m trying to call the store and it keeps asking for a remote access code.
don’t trade in your consoles here, I brought my ps4 pro in because they called and offered me a trade in towards my xbox series x for $200. they gave me a 200$ credit but then said they can’t test the consoles in store anymore and some other BS and then wanted to charge me almost $100 in fees to send it out to be tested. so alot of BS from them. there is a reason this company is on its last leg and won’t be around much longer.
petes music kicks ass!every time I go i walk out satisfied.
Pete is a total sweetheart and the service guy Mike is very knowledgeable about all kinds of instruments. I’ve only personally seen him work on guitar repairs but he knew everything there is to know about my flute too. I’d trust them with any musical instrument I owned, and if I ever need to rent or buy again, I know where I’m going!
I have been coming to Pete’s Music since I was a little kid for lessons and gear. Today I called to see if they could repair a bass with active pickups that a friend had gifted to me. I spoke with Mike, and he assured me with all the confidence you want to hear from someone who is going to be operating on your gear that he absolutely could. So I brought the bass in after work and Mike was ready to get started right then and there. He had a pretty good idea just from our brief phone conversation where to find the problem, and sure enough there it was. Before my very eyes, he had the issue fixed, the bass cleaned, and the whole thing buttoned back up within 20 minutes. He is a top-notch fellow, extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and Pete’s Music is a local staple and an excellent place for all your music needs. Thanks, Mike!
In a era when local music shops are hard to find this one is a gem. Great service, great staff, fair prices. Their guitar techs are top notch and extremely reasonable…
I had some questions about a guitar repair on 9/23/14. I called to talk with Pete but he was not there. I talked with someone else about the needed repair. He couldn’t help me and when I tried to get some more information about when Pete would return he was non-helpful and then he told me that he had “a room full of customers.” Or in other words, this phone conversation is over. Am I not a customer? Just another employee filling a seat over there. I gave 3 stars for my rating only because Pete is awesome, but my experience with his fill-in was in complete contrast to working with Pete.
I’m so glad they got rid of “Dr. Evil.” It was the best decision they’ve ever done in my 20 years of coming here. Buying guitar strings from him was like pulling teeth. I heard he was eventually assaulted, which is unfortunate and kind of reflects on the managers for not getting rid of him sooner.
The bearded gentleman that replaced him is worth his weight in Gold.
Give that man a RAISE. He deserves it.
Place is so uncomfortable. 3 people working. Complete silence. Just staring at you. Wanted to look at guitars but felt so uncomfortable.
