@Iris Mueck, the lake is not polluted, God made the mineral deposit there and he made it for our benefit. The town is run down and wages are low because people like you don’t want to pay more for their product than they need to. The owners are not greedy, these are just the facts. Greedy socialists would force the owners to spend their hard earned money fixing up a town they cannot afford to fix. Then the owners would go broke and everyone would be out of a job. Spend some time reading about what is happening right now in Venezuela. Why don’t you go there with a can of paint and offer to help clean the place up?
Timing is here ⛳️ and please make sure route before visiting here because very bad network here . You must have long pent and shoes . Nice place
es un buen sitio para encontrar diferentes minerales
Quick in and out for a pick up. Appointment at 10a arrived at 8:45 was out and rolling 9:50. The longest part of the process was the guard gate. Driver and co or spouse must sign in and sign covid papers you’ll get a safety card good for a year. Long pants, closed toed shoes, safety goggles and hard hat required. When coming in of Trono rd turn onto center to go straight to the guard gate. Once checked in you’ll weigh then call the guard gate the turn left to either lower or upper warehouse.
It’s been good for me and my family I’ve worked here for the last 13 years
Looks like it’s the only thing keeping the whole town going, but not by much. The whole area looks run down and broken, a terrible quality of life. I hope the workers who live around this refinery find joy in the nearby national parks at least.
Searless Valley Minerals, San Bernardino District, you are the last registered coal power plant in CA. Looks like you have lots of land, can we imagine an investment in the longevity of your business and community by switching your electricity supply to renewables?
All drivers do not come here for a very long time loaded and a very long queue

Halite field trip…
Suggest dealers to register early.
There might be a limited amount of cars to go into the Halite fields. I’m passing the word from a club member to you, that this might happen sometime in the future.
Very informative .
Lots of fun! Plan to get dirty! This is an awesome experience for very little cost. It’s either $15 or $20 per car (not per person)! Bring tools and start digging. Keep whatever you find. The kids had a blast looking for crystals. You can purchase brine (for cleaning) when you are there for $1. There is no cell signal there so bring walkie talkies if you are going with others.

I found many displays of Trona history of places and people. Great photographs as well as items of historical interest. It was clean and very well organized in multiple rooms. There was a little gift shop where there were cups, magnets and canvas tote bags with pictures of sights like the Pinnacles, fish rocks and the iconic milage sign that everyone loves. Worth the stop for interested individuals.
The Old Guest House Museum is full of the history of Searles Valley, the mining companies that have kept the town alive, and Trona”s colorful past.
The volunteers that staff the museum cheerfully share a wealth of information about Searles Valley and the surrounding area. A great place to stop a and stretch your legs when passing through Trona on your way to Death Valley,
They have a lot of enviable teaching objects and artifacts of days gone by in their collection, in addition to many curios and legacy treasures.
A neat place to get a idea of the history behind the area. Searles Valley is a tiny community built around a minerals facility between Death Valley and Ridgecrest CA.
I forget
So much Trona history to see here.
They are supposed to be open certain hours but when I went they were actually closed. It’s unprofessional to say your going to be open but actually closed… too bad – hopefully it will get fixed…
