Been coming here, for a while, to buy strings, capos, and what not. Bought a guitar, here, finally. (Only the 2nd guitar, I’ve bought, in 20+ years). Really like this place. They aren’t elitist, like the downtown place. They encourage you to pick up an instrument, and try it out. They give you positive feedback, and that means alot. I bought a keyboard DGX-640 from this store which is cost $920. Then I realized the keyboard was not brand new and there was no box at all. Later, I did a research online, (Ebay, Amazon..etc.) and found that the original price was only $599 including everything. Most of the keyboards they are selling are not brand new at all. Be ware!
I showed them the kind of guitar strings I needed specifically not knowing entirely the name because they’re the experts right? I said I needed bullet strings for two fender guitars… they sold me a pack of “strings with the ball on the end” and when I opened the package they weren’t what I needed. A musical instrument store where the workers don’t know anything about musical instruments. Don’t waste your time or money or money, you’ll just be gaslit.

I’ve only been there once but I was pretty impressed with it. It’s kind of a hole in the wall that reminds me of a place where the VIP’s of music would go to and be able to strike up a jam session without being bothered. The owner is VERY knowledgeable about music and really likes to help out any way he can. He has a wide variety of accessories for your guitar. Some that are hard to find. His prices are cheaper than Siglers and Ben Jack’s too. He has a variety of guitars ranging from $50, for the beginner, all the way to $500 for the more advanced. I like Rockabilly’s and I do recommend them to my friends and others who want a place to go for their guitar needs. They get ALL my business!!!
These guys are the most knowledgeable people out there. I’ve been coming since I was a kid with my grandfather.
My uncle and dad are the ones who work there and run the place, but is actually a very nice place where they get things done but if they can’t help you they will give you other places where people could help you. the’re very helpful

I bought strings here a few times.
Called just now to ask if they hard guitar technicians, got a “well yeah”. I asked if they could help me set a neck on a guitar kit i had bought, “I dont have time for that, i can do it, but i dont have time for that”. I can buy strings anywhere. Haha. Goodness. I dont have time for that.
Open just for certain customers, they are going out of business because everyone is using the web to buy. Alot of old vintage instruments in there.
Decent prices on a wide variety of instruments. That comes at the cost of them fleecing you on trade-ins, however. I recommend selling elsewhere, but buying here. They’re the only local music shop I go to anymore.
the staff is helpful. Just check the things out before you buy, the stuff is used so check it out and make sure it works the way you want it to work.
Friendly people but kinda pricey
This is one of only a handful of places in the River Valley you can buy instruments and accessories from. It’s a place I can drop in quickly for new strings or sticks. They offer some set-up/repair services from entry to intermediate difficulty. Keep to the kids close (or at the house), as various instruments and/or parts are laying around in some areas of the sales floor, making for somewhat treacherous terrain and unclear pricing. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, though you may have to approach them directly for help. I prefer this myself. Glad they’re here.
Dropped a guitar off for the owner to look at. He told me over the phone he’d give $150 for it and only a few hours later when I came in to get the money he prints me a ticket off and hands me $100. I reminded him that wasn’t what we agreed on and all he said was “that’s all I can do unless you want me to undo the transaction”. Not good business in my opinion. And now he’s calling me a liar. This isn’t some story I made up when I was bored, it actually happened. Remember the guitar was dropped off so it could be appraised. I don’t enjoy writing bad reviews but this one was earned.
Bought a brand new acoustic guitar here after years of using this store for my musical needs. The guitar wasnt staying in tune and i noticed the intonation was a little off as well. I took it back 4 days later and they offered me 100 bucks for it. It was brand new and i spend 400 on it and bought a 150 dollar case as well. Thats not the way you treat repeat customers. I will never be returning to this store again.

This gentleman, Ben Jones, gave me a tremendous deal on a Yamaha keyboard that normally is run on sale for$199- $229, without power adapter @ the online stores. This was a display model, probably never even played , with a $50 survival kit which has the adapter, foot pedal, headphones, and tons of software for only $200 !! I was impressed, and Will be back!
The people are great. Having a repair capability is surprising. Having both new and used equipment to purchase is nice. I will continue going back – even so, a few pieces (albeit they were used) have underperformed.
Ben and staff were very personable. It’s cool to be in a music store where you can look over the counter and see a guitar being built from scratch. They have a nice array of inexpensive instruments. They have the brand of guitar strings that I always had to go to guitar center (Fayetteville) and get. They have more than one gauge of banjo strings, and the knowledge to tell me why.
He had a guitar of mine for over a year and never got it fixed. Never communicated with me about anything. I had to always go to his store to find out what was going on.
Would give zero stars if I could.
Bought some gear. Didn’t use it. Asked if I could return it or get store credit. I had inadvertently put a cord in the wrong sleeve. Even though I had the receipt, which the guy wouldnt look at, He rudely accused me of being a crook trying to get a refund for merchandise I hadn’t bought there. The return policy is not posted, nor is it on the receipt, so I asked. Never been treated so inappropriately. Don’t recommend. Won’t return.

Absolutely love this place!!! I went here last year to get my son’s clarinet repaded and looked over he did it very quickly it was very fairly priced I would recommend him to anyone, this year came back my son was having problems with one of the pads he repaired it replaced it for free! and now I always buy my cleaning supplies for the clarinet here he is just amazing he goes above and beyond I will always come here for any band instrument repairs I’ll need thank you for loving what you do!
My flute that sat for 13 years is now in a better state then I purchased it in. It’s hard to imagine it’s the same instrument.
I was going to give this company a try. Told him several times I was going to be there by 3:30 on Friday. Good luck with getting your instruments back.

This is the place to turn dreams into reality! Walked in and immediately felt at home and comfortable with singing when I had never done it before, they will teach you anything you’d like to know about becoming a musician and they are so VERY talented at what they do. 10/10 recommend.
This is my favorite page in Facebook or anywhere because of the pure talent.I heard Dillon play at his grandmother’s house and he was totally amazing.picked up a song after hearing it just one time and mastered it. He is a very honest young man and is kind and helpful to everyone. And i seen our lead guitarist of 23 years also in Dillons garage Also a lead guitarist and songwriter.Dennis Crouch.And Dillon is Ray Adcocks nephew who is very proud.we watch everyday.God bless this amazing group and amazing talent.
