I can hardly find the words to express what a wonderful and special experience I had at my sound bath with Becky at Sacred Sound of Soul. To say that it shifted both my mental and physical state would be, well, an understatement. What a beautiful gift to give yourself or someone you love. This made my Sedona trip one I’ll never forget.
Beautiful, wonderful, amazing experience and so thankful I was able to share the experience with my best friend on her birthday! Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful. My experience left me centered, grounded and fresh.
My husband and I were looking for something to do and we found that Sacred Sound of the soul was open. So we decided to go and check it out since we are both into it. Well the women that greeted us at the door and forgot to put a sign up on the door that she was in a session and pretty much rushed us out of there very rudely kinda ruined our experience visiting Sedona. Well someone should change their yelp and say it’s by appointments only cause the sound bowls looked beautiful. I guess we will take our business elsewhere. Looked beautiful would have been a awesome experience, we are Just disappointed and I wouldn’t recommend it to any of our family and friends.
2. Sedona Music Boxes
Address: 336 AZ-179 a209, Sedona, AZ 86336 , Sedona , Arizona , United States
Beautiful, high quality music boxes. You can even order custom pieces. Nan, the shop owner, has helped us select the perfect music boxes for our style over the years.
A great little shop in Tlaquepaque, beautiful music boxes, gifts and more.
Music boxes were lovely. Staff wasn’t interested in speaking to us.
The products were very charming; however, I will not be returning. The owner shows blatant disregard for covid precautions and went so far as to inform my mother and I that she will not mask. We were both masked and she waited until we were mid sale to bring up the topic and announce her stance. She also has a sign spreading blatant misinformation. I am a healthcare worker who has watched patients die of covid-19 and I will not support a shop run by someone with such blatant disregard for human life.
The woman working there was incredibly sweet and helpful. What spoiled everything was this ridiculous and offensive anti mask wearing sign at the check out. If I had seen it before I started shopping, I would have not spent money there. In the future, I hope the owner will seek a doctors advice before spreading dangerous misinformation.
Had this horrible horrible sign in the store. Very irresponsible (and with no sources??) when people are dying
3. Bonanza Flutes & Jewelry
Address: 273 N State Rte 89A ste g, Sedona, AZ 86336 , Sedona , Arizona , United States
Very knowledgeable and friendly. Great selection of native american flutes.
Based off the reviews I made it a point to go this this shop. I have been wanting to get a native flute and I’m so glad I did. Clara was so helpful. She took the time to show me how to use it and how to play actual music with it. So happy with my purchase. Thank you Clara!
I am delighted with my Butch Hall Flute which the owner helped me chose and test. She also gave me playing tips, scales and a fleece carrier. She was helping other customers in the same way. I heard her giving very frank and honest advice, as she matched the flutes to customers ability. Yes, I might have gotten it a little cheaper elsewhere, outside Sedona. But her advice and demonstration on various instruments was priceless. The whole experience was a wondrrful journey of discovery.
Wonderful flutes, drums and healing bowls
4. ALT Books and Records
Address: 336 AZ-179 Suite C203, Sedona, AZ 86336 , Sedona , Arizona , United States
I discovered this place after wandering up a beautiful staircase in Tlaquepaque and decided to buy some records as a gift, but had only a vague sense of the gift recipient’s taste. Frank who works there helped me pick two PERFECT albums, drawing from his extensive knowledge, and the recipient LOVED them. And it was the perfect end to my trip as I was actually excited to go home and give these gifts. Thank you, Frank!
Amazing place, great selection, super friendly staff. I definitely hope to go back and would highly recommend it
Cutest little vintage record and bookstore with every eclectic genre you can imagine. Newton was super helpful. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in Tlaquepaque Village!
Visited a few weeks ago and got two records. After listening to them I realized that though they were marked “VG”, they were not in that great condition for the price I bought them at. I bought a Mamas and the Papas record for $16 and it skips which is very disappointing. Had I known, I wouldn’t have bought them. I’ve bought cheaper records in better conditions than here, though the collection was pretty good.
Great selection of used vinyl but be careful
when purchasing their use vinyl.
The condition rating on the price label seems to be only for the cover not the vinyl record.
Being a tourist I paid top dollar only to find out when I got home the record cover was “VG” but the record was in poor condition.
Good atmosphere, book, and record selection however an odd experience. I picked up a book that on the jacket said 27.50. Unfortunately, when it came to purchase it I ended up paying 40. I’m not sure why used books are marked up instead of down, but oh well I guess. Unfortunately my social anxiety was in the way of me saying anything although I should have. My friend was charged $70 even for her two vinyls, and paid the woman $80. We never received change. Almost seems like we were taken advantage of. Probably won’t be back.
My girlfriend and I were passing through Sedona and were excited to see that there was now a record store. Turns out it’s just a tourist trap. If you are a serious collector, you shouldn’t bother because everything is outrageously over-priced. In the racks you’ll find literal dollar records priced at $20-$30. These are things you can buy from Discogs still sealed for $1, or find in the bargain bin at brick and mortar shops. Anything that is actually rare you can expect to pay much more than you should. In addition, the owner has another store in a less busy part of town that we also visited. When we got to talking to him he bragged to us about how he can overcharge for records at the primary location, and people still buy them. This isn’t a case where the owner doesn’t know what they’re doing. They are preying on people who don’t know any better. Ridiculous. Their book selection is okay, and the woman working behind the counter was friendly.
Do not bring any kids! Owner was a massive jerk. Screamed at my 5 year old for just touching his record player, and I mean just a touch. We have a well tempered child who just made a small mistake that didn’t break a thing. But yet he demanded a apology instead of looking at how he treated a small child.
5. Chamber Music Sedona

The quality and caliber of all the performers and programs are always extraordinary. The present performance location is just perfect (not a bad seat in the house!). Really worth supporting with membership and their “perks”.
Always a very high standard of music
6. Le Fay Studios

Most epic professional studio around. Nic’s got the set up for whatever your creative heart desires to make .. highly recommend if you’re trying to take your music to the next level. A+ vibes , sound , and company !!!
Nic Leo is a kind heart, a great listener, and above all a devoted musician. His keen ear for tone and music goes beyond this realm and into that of the angels ~ he and his studio are equipped with a masterful ability to bring delicate musical intricacies and harmonies to life and into the light, with ease and grace. He was ready to do what needed to be done for my original song to feel good in the body when listened to. I appreciate his masterful work and performance deeply, and cherish my time collaborating with him. Many thanks and blessings ✨
Absolutely love working with Nic! We are recording an album together and he’s been so helpful and patient throughout the process. Nic is also an amazing bassist and has accompanied me on a few tracks. He produces a super high quality sound and he’s really supportive in helping artists bring out their vision. 10000% would recommend! 🙂

Kirk was amazing and super helpful! Found all the goodies, and definitely will be coming back! Thank you
Beautiful store. Thank you.
definitely one of my favorite spots in Sedona to go to
Great selection of crystals and other beautiful productions ( for example jewerly, music cds and oracle cards )
If ur ever in Sedona..check out this place, good prices on stones.
Been visiting this place almost every time we visit Sedona. Lots of choices for crystal.
The place is off,use to have great energy, not anymore.all I pick up in that place is greed!!! All about the Benjamin’s.feels like a thrift store with extremely high prices.
Nice selection of merchandise. Just wish there were more mask enforcement to keep everyone safe while shopping.
Fake psychics not good
8. Studio Ei8ht Sedona
Address: 28 Finley Dr Unit 4, Sedona, AZ 86336 , Sedona , Arizona , United States
Love this space! Luther Flowers is a warm and welcoming owner, who’s happy to accommodate musicians in any way he can. He’s also an excellent multi-instrumentalist. Eclectic, friendly & supportive vibe for rehearsal & production. I had a fun, inspiring experience first time there. Look forward to returning!
I’m biased on this review because I love the people who run this space. Very homey, family type atmosphere to relax and practice or record music at very affordable rates, also doubles as a day space to hang out and work on projects when no appointments are booked for an hourly rate that includes all the coffee or tea you can drink. Byo instruments if you have high standards, their equipment is not top tier, but definitely a great value for the price. They have put a lot of hard work into developing the business since moving into the new location and it shows.
No frills music studio managed by an accommodating, friendly, down-to-earth gang of music enthusiasts. Anticipate this spot blooming into a trice scene once essential equipment upgrades (addition of mounted drum kit toms and less finicky high hat stand) are realized.
Awesome experience and want to do it again! Thanks for an amazing sound bath Valerie!
What an incredible experience!!! Valerie came to the AirBnB where I was hosting my Get Sparked LIVE! retreat and managed to fit 12 of us in the combo living/dining room on the most comfortable cushioned mats. Ten of the 12 had never had a sound healing experience and it was profound for all of us. Many breakthroughs and inspirations came through. The next time I’m in Sedona, Valerie will be a part of my itinerary. She’s amazing and also has an incredible backstory, which you’ll have to ask her about, but it’s all about fate and patience. ❤️
Valerie is an expert in her field. She gave us a thorough introduction, asked us what we expected, performed her amazing sound therapy, and lastly concluded with a two way summary conversation.
I believe sound therapy is a very effective way of meditation and I was confirmed by this experience.
If you are in the Sedona area, and want some deep meditation through sound, call Valerie! She will blow your expectations away.
I don’t know how she is technically. she got really good recommendations from the friend of a friend but when I showed up she was not vaccinated! For health care worker not even to tell the potential client about her vaccination status is unethical as far as I’m concerned
11. Sedona Crystal Vortex
Address: 300 N State Rte 89A, Sedona, AZ 86336 , Sedona , Arizona , United States
The women working there were so welcoming and helpful. Very happy with my purchases.
Amazing staff! What a great place to have your questions answered, and to explore things known and unknown. <3
Have recently went there 1 year ago the person who worked there was very nice and loved her job there was many crystals and gems and geodes wich i love but overall this is such a great place and some day when you go to sedona if you do take a stop there whith your family i will bet you you will get something there its very chep 🙂
Beautiful but getting too crowdy!
Mágia kameňov. Shopping for crystals in Sedona.
I like this place but because Sedona is a center for healing arts and attracts many tourists, the stones are overpriced.
The aura photos are reasonable at $30 but almost everything in this area seems overpriced. It’s a great place to stop but the only downfall is that it is over touristy, so they can charge double to triple because of the high demand. I think that I might have come on the busiest week of the year by accident.
The aura photos include extensive analysis of several energy fields and turned out remarkably scienctific. I’m not completely understanding of the energy fields and quantum physics that explain them but then again neither was Einstein or Stephen Hawking.
This is definitely a good place to stop and if I was a tourist instead of just returning home from road trip I would want to buy several stones and support the beauty and healing arts of Sedona.
Was going to go in for an aura picture, but I stepped foot into the shop and total negative energy. There was someone or a few someone’s putting off negative Vibes. I’ll try again next visit, but as of right now, nope!
Upon entering I was greeted pleasantly, but shortly after that I overheard two of the employees alerting each other to the “two Mexicans in the corner”, who they suspected of stealing. Allowing me to hear this conversation was unprofessional right off the bat, but because I did hear it, I too began to watch them and saw no suspicious behavior at all, which made me feel kind of like they were profiling the only brown people in the shop. That was kind of unsavory in my opinion but I continued to browse the selection and pick out a couple of small things, at which point every single employee approached me multiple times each asking me if I wanted a basket, which I repeatedly stated I did not as I knew I was only buying a few small items (because their prices were astronomically above market value) and then one of the employees clung on to me and fallowed me everywhere asking me question after question at which point it dawned on me, oh, ok, they weren’t profiling the Mexicans they just treat every single person who walks in like a potential thief.
As a shop owner myself, I understand and appreciate loss prevention as I have to employ those tactics as well, but these people crossed a line. No one wants someone hovering over them asking endless questions while they’re trying to shop, not even honest customers with money to spend. It was especially disheartening to learn they essentially knew little to nothing about the crystals, I felt like I was hosting a free course in gemology to all of these young, under educated employees who also didn’t realize many of their high end crystals were dyed(and sold as natural, that’s a big no no). I remained friendly even though I was a bit annoyed because I went their to shop not to give my entire life story to random people who were treating me like a common thief and not a serious collector(which I am.) maybe the whole experience was just soured by the initial witnessing of them profiling the people of color, perhaps if I hadn’t seen that I’d feel differently about the unusual amount of attention they were giving me, but unfortunately that’s just my experience as a whole.
I paid for a reading which was $40 and got the most vague description. She would ask me questions and agree with whatever I said and didn’t really give that much input. And she asked if we wanted to wear our masks as if a pandemic isn’t currently in place. The staff is super knowledgeable about crystals but the psychic reading was a miss. Save your $$
12. Music Inspired Collections Sedona
Address: 101 AZ-89A D22, Sedona, AZ 86336 , Sedona , Arizona , United States
Incredible warm love high vibe energy in here. I bought the most amazing cards and sound drum.
I refer many friends for angel and other cards. My doggie even loved being here. ❤️
Absolutely incredible experience at this little shop today, the employee working (my apologies, I did not get her name) with the hot pink hair was incredibly kind, calming and intuitive. She demonstrated a crystal bowl for us and was more than happy to make conversation. She was playing some of the beautiful instruments there while we shopped and we felt a wave of calm over us in this store. It relaxed and recharged us for the remainder of our day. We will definitely be returning in the future due to the wonderful customer service, affordable prices, and calm atmosphere!
My wife and I ended up here after briefly researching spots in Sedona to get aura photos taken. I was admittedly drawn to the aesthetic of aura photos I’d seen online. The photos taken here are, well, not quite that. They’re taken on a little webcam and then printed on paper. When you Google “aura photo”, the results you see are shot on something called an AuraCam 6000 with film – that’s not used here, though I’m honestly not sure if anywhere in Sedona uses one. If you’re mostly after the experience of talking through your aura results, I think it could be fun and might be worth your time, but I kind of feel like the results are just randomly generated and then justified after the fact. I could be wrong though! Important side note – the aura analyst kept his mask off in a small room which was a little weird. Buyer beware!
Cool shop
Expensive gems
I visited this store a few days ago with my sister . My sis shopped there for souvenirs. There were many stones & jewelries & huge amethyst stones & native American feather things …etc. The young lady helped us was very friendly & also sweet ! But, she didn’t seem to know much of crystals & stones !! Everytime my sister asked a question , her answer was similar to others. This is why I am giving 3 stars , although I wanna give 3.5 stars !! If she was very knowledgeable, I would have given 4 stars !!
My sis bought red stones from the area which she said someone collected those from the sides of highways !? They were $3 each & she got 5 of them. We think they will be wonderful memory & tokens !! Also some amethysts & something else . She spent around $48 ~ $68 ? I recommend this shop for souvenirs. But, I really wish if she was more knowledgeable !! I think this kind of shop really fits for souvenir shopping in Sedona !!
Way too expensive.
15. Center For The New Age
Address: 341 AZ-179, Sedona, AZ 86336 , Sedona , Arizona , United States
J.a.n.e.t was wonderful! Very gentle and accurate. I can’t wait to go back to Sedona and see J.a.n.e.t again. The store is amazing, filled with wonderful things. Wish the store was online.
Great selection of stones!
Wonderful staff and products. Especially the astrology prints by Paul LaWrence Curtis.
cute place but extremely overpriced.
easy access, many different types of New Age products
Lots of hocus pocus but cool if youre into that sorta thing.
luck of the draw. Sedona is a Mecca for psychics. Center for the New Age has many psychics available..i am a psychic that used to work there.dont judge by looks. Psychics look normal. If someone is dressed like a gypsy with a Bindi on their forehead, that does not mean they are a gifted accurate and sincere seer. Most of the clients I had were seeking a fun novel experience. I gave them that but I also addressed a real problem they were experiencing. As far as picking a good psychic from the concierge desk use your own intuition. I traded readings with other psychics. Some were good. Some were not..use your own best judgement.
So we are visiting for a bachelorette party and I (the bride) was really excited to go into this little shop. They were incredibly rude and we all felt like it went past the COVID stuff and capacity. Aside from that the guy up front was talking very rude and making fun of us as we were trying to get out of a very crammed parking lot. Not worth the time.
Beautiful store. Terrible vibe.
Hope those ladies find some joy.

Had a fantastic time at creekside. We stayed in Sedona for a week and found this place after 3 days. The best quality coffee around and over the last few days we had the bacon egg and Brie breakfast sandwich, the baked French toast (my favorite) and last night had some wine and their signature cheese platter. Great service and great food.
They had good coffee at normal coffee shop prices, free WiFi, and great views.
Best cappuccino I had while in Sedona. They are know for their flavor infused coffees but I didn’t try those and I cannot speak for that. Great view as well.
Really cool place. Good coffee, lattes and good food. Pic is of the Mediterranean toast w cucumbers, hummus, tomato and tabouli.
Great coffee and views! Lovely atmosphere and furniture. Has it’s own character. Limited parking. Look to park at telaquepaque and a short walk up.
Tasty breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Not so tasty COVID because only about 50% of people were wearing masks. Sigh.
I have had worse coffee, but not much. If you’re desperate for espresso, it will suffice. $6 for a 16 Oz Americano is absurd.
Good coffee, but horrible COVID policies. One barista is wearing no mask at all, another has it under her nose, and the last one is wearing a bandana that feel to his neck 5 times while I waited for my coffee. Not to mention the fact that despite local regulations, half the people in the shop are allowed to walk in and order without masks. Felt very uncomfortable, will not be back
