Always a great place to purchase musical merchandise. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Good prices!
Great place great deals
Best music shop in Springfield
Friendly,has most anything
Pretty good inventory from starter instruments to grand pianos. Laid back atmosphere.
Great music shoppe with a great and large selection of guitars!!!
Took in a brand new bass to get a pickup replaced. Not a scratch on it, never played once. The supposedly simple pickup replacement took a week and a half only for them to give me back my new bass with the back of it covered in scratches and a huge glob of dried glue stuck to the fretboard that won’t come off. They absolutely wrecked my new bass before I even had a chance to play it. Worst possible experience. I am sick to my stomach about how poorly they treated my equipment and would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.
I hate doing this because I want to like music stores but if service is gonna be like this, everyone myswell DIY at home and heed this warning. I’ve had a few guitars setup there which is what I’m always needing done, new guitars etc, well I happen to be changing the strings on my Chapman that I had setup there and the low E saddle of the Floyd Rose came loose and the saddle screw fell out and that’s strange as you tighten them down. Well here’s what I discovered. Either dude lost the original saddle screw or he broke it somehow, but sitting in place of the original saddle screw is a too small saddle screw from a different bridge! It had been set in there and the string was tightened until it held the saddle in place! Like magic no screwing required! This guaranteed that as soon as the string tension came loose the saddle and screw would come loose every time NOT like it’s supposed to. Soooo sad service especially since luckily here at home I have many of those saddle screws laying around. It would have been better service to call me/order the correct part than to wait for me to get home figure out that I have the wrong part and have to deal with it myself. Smh.
I am giving two stars because Matt Waldhoff took the time to speak with us in the store. Other than that, I’m not impressed. We were going to consign an expensive Clavinova with them. Upon looking at the contract emailed to us they wanted 40% of the price it sold for, which was satisfactory with us. What was not satisfactory was even thought they only charged $100 to pick-up the clavinova it appeared from the contract they wanted $100 to deliver it to the new owners. Also, they would take no responsibility for any damage that may occur to the unit while it was in their hands. As we had questions regarding that contract we contacted Matt Waldhoff two times via email, asking him to clarify certain aspects of the contract. He never responded back so I assumed they did not want our business. I ended up selling the clavinova on my own and kept the 40% they would otherwise have received. It is inexcusable to not return emails to clarify a contract and I can only assume he took offense that we had questions regarding a contract where they took the profit, but absolutely no responsibility for damage.

Wonderful customer service. Beth went out of her way to make this transaction as easy and pleasant as possible. Thank you for your amazing service. The product’s price was very competitive as well.
Best music store for New and used Acoustic-Electric Taylor, and Martin guitars. Friendly, and very knowledgeable staff.
Staff is helpful and they have lots of instruments to view. One bad thing is that they always seem to make you feel like they are waiting for you to steal something. I realize there is lots of theft that happens but you don’t need to follow me around while I browse.
Selections ok but lacks depth if you follow… staff is okay but not engaging at all.
Very helpful staff was able to guide me right to the different snare heads needed making it a quick and easy stop!
This place will go the way of the rock shop if they keep treating customers like suspects.
It was not like this at the Stevenson location.
Great food, great beer. Try the Reinstone offerings; local brew done right.
We just ate there for the first time. Had the tenderloin and the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Also tried a couple of the pale ales. Food was great. Good portions for the money. Great atmosphere. Had outdoor seating. Service was great considering everywhere you go is short on help. The two pale ales are worth a try. Will definitely be back. Now have tried 2 places in Sherman. Both excellent food and value. Recommend.
Great food. Find a new favorite each time I am there. Great service as well.
The oven gives everything a delicious smokey taste, our favorite it the crispy bread with artichoke dip and we keep returning for it. I wish there was more of a protein centered options but only due to personal preference.
Okay food. Great service. Catie is an amazing server
Loved the service the food & pretty fair prices .. Been there multiple Tim
es from south of Springfield love the mushroom & Swiss burger !!!!
Overall, our experience wasnt to bad due to cold drinks and good friends. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly and the appetizers weren’t very good. Our friends said they will never go back.
Not impressed. Paid $28.00 for two walleye specials that were overcooked. Waste of money and time. I won’t be a returning customer.
Place is good over all. It’s been a mixed bag though when it comes to the staff. One time the hostess complained to me that she would actually have to clean off a table to seat me! I left rather than stay and listen to more of her issues. One waitress was great each time I was in. One bar tender never checked my credit card, which says SEE ID, to verify it was actually me using it. Food is good, drinks are cold and the help is lukewarm. The bartender tonight, while friendly, didn’t tend bar that well. People had to wait for service while she talked to friends. Not the best way to serve your customers! Meal was delivered without the salad and then she had to run back and get it. Then asked if I needed silverware and condiments. Thankfully, both were already there, if not I’m sure it would’ve been a few conversations with friends before I would’ve gotten them.
