We are in the process of recording our next album at Promedia and are extremely happy with the results so far. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, there’s a good selection of pro microphones and Keith specializes in getting a good and pure recording from the source into the digital realm. Highly recommended!
Ordered an Aztec chai, Mexican mocha, hibiscus ginger tea, fox sandwich and the mother lode avocado toast and they were all delicious and well made. Highly recommend stopping over for their amazing drinks (especially loved the Aztec chai) and food.

Decent coffee but pricey
Pretty disappointed. Veggie sandwich took 20 minutes to come out, while the place was virtually empty. Staff wasn’t very friendly and didn’t seem to care. Won’t make an effort to return here any time soon.
I ordered a medium fox tail and Tuscan breakfast burrito. I was 3/4 finished with the burrito and a little less than 1/2 of the coffee when I had to go to the bathroom. When I came out, the table was cleared. What a waste of money, coffee, and food. I won’t be back.

I am always excited to go into Nicholson’s Music. The staff is delightful! It is always a treat when Nick (the owner) is there, which is often. They always take their time with customers to answer all their questions, even when it is super busy.
I read the reviews below and want to say most of them are unfounded. I have been taking lessons there for over a year so I have seen A LOT of customer interactions both “good” and “bad”. Even when a customer is being rude to the workers, I have seen nothing but the upmost professionalism from the entire staff.
People seem to be getting irritated that they can’t just grab instruments off the wall. There are signs all over the store requesting that you ask for assistance. As they are a small store, that is generally pretty busy, you more than likely will not have someone walk up to you and ask if you need help. Literally walk up and ask for help. They are more than happy to help you with ANY PRICE POINT of guitar (or other instrument for that matter).
Again, people are gripping that you need to be escorted into the expensive guitar room. Again, as mentioned, they are an independent, small store so if a customer screws up a $10,000+ guitar they are going to definitely going to feel the hurt. Along with that, I hate to say it, but there are a lot of thieves out there so again, if someone bolts with a guitar they are going to be effected.
The only thing I will agree with is, if you are planning on running in and out, you are probably not going to be very happy. I can’t mention enough, THEY ARE A SMALL BUSINESS, which means a smaller staff. Since they take time with each customer, you are probably going to have a little bit of a wait, but not an eternity like people are saying.
If you want to have someone essentially ignore you so you can just “do your thing” with a guitar and not have anyone there to answer questions, go to the “big box” store. You can find someone that will leave you alone and basically have zero knowledge. If you want a personal experience, with people that love music and helping musicians (of any skill level) go to Nicholoson’s.
Great customer service
I haven’t played the flute since high school. I wanted to buy a used instrument that was in good condition so that I could play for my own enjoyment at home. Well, it was my lucky day! I found a lovely used flute for just $350 and also bought a new book to reacquaint myself with easy music passages. Thank you Nicholson!
The staff are very nice and attentive. They make sure that everyone is being help to the point of different staff asking the same person severely times. If you are in the neighborhood or you just need a friendly professional place that will take care of your stringed instrument (violin, guitar, viola, etc.) stop by to say hello.
I’ve experienced a good customer service however all sales are final.
I need a stand for tomorrow lesson because mine broke. It is closed on MONDAY the service is good but the prices for rent are high for rented items.

The staff is cool, and so is the person giving violin lessons. However, the owner is rude to paying customers and even to children.
The owner says you can try out guitars, but really, he will micromanage and demand you buy it if he decides you’ve “used his strings too much.” Why even bother letting people try out guitars if you’re going to make people take off jewelry and anything that could scratch the guitar, and then still find a way to act like they are an inconvenience for playing a guitar when you said they could play? Very bad ownership.
Don’t spend money here, especially on your kids. My kid was given permission to try out a guitar by the staff, and then the owner literally ripped the guitar from my kid’s hands, scolded him for using up too much string, demanded he pay for the guitar, and then kicked us out while our other kid was in a PAID violin lesson. Would give 0 stars, never coming back. By the way, we’ve spent enough money at your store previously to pay for that guitar, let alone the fact that we could’ve paid for it. Way to lose money for yourself And next time you want to disrespect someone’s kid, don’t. Sorry you can’t afford to replace $3 wholesale strings on guitars after customers try them out. Maybe just don’t let people try the guitars since you seemingly can’t mentally handle that. And before you try to lie, we were not disrespectful or damaging your property in ANY way. My kid is very respectful. We actually thought you were joking until you kicked us out. Praying for you.
This shop is close to my home and has a reasonable selection and decent prices for its size. I don’t mind paying an extra 10% over what I would pay at Guitar Center if I can support small and local business. BUT the service here is pretty sparse and harsh.
As someone else said, customers are not permitted to handle any instruments (including $150 guitars) without assistance, and the assistance can be hard to come by. I kinda feel if you’re gonna spend 4 figures on a piece a gear you outta be able to look it over, feel it, and play it without having someone hovering over you. There are some products customers are not allowed to even LOOK AT, much less handle, without an escort. After all, it’s a music store, not a museum. I understand they don’t wanna have to discount products because someone mishandledthemt, but if that’s your policy it would be nice to have customer service that actually services the customer.
I bought my Martin at the store five years ago and they were very friendly but I recently went in to buy a sound pick up for my guitar and the man was immediately very rude to me.
I told him I would do my business somewhere else and I walked out.
Joel came out and helped my severely neglected piano. It probably hadn’t been cared for in twenty years at this point and he helped it sound nice again. Joel was very knowledgeable and helpful. He taught me how to take the piano apart, showed me how it worked, and explained the anatomy to me. He was so patient with all of my questions. He also cleaned the piano for me and it was shocking how much dust was removed and how clean it was afterwards. A very positive experience!
Joel has moved, tuned, cleaned, and sold pianos for me. He is super knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate his flexible schedule and quick response times. If you need any piano services, I’d highly recommend United Piano!
Joel was very detail oriented and worked on my piano with care and explained what he was doing and why. It sounds way better after his tuning and he even cleaned it without being asked. That’s a first.. I will definitely call him for my next appointment. Also he was very pleasant and friendly.
Jamin is an excellent music teacher! He has such a wealth of knowledge and is clearly passionate about teaching. I would give him 100 stars if I could!
Steve was meticulous, thorough, careful, and moved our Chickering Piano from Galt to Rancho Murieta without a single issue. I hope I never have to move this piano again but if I do, Steve will be hired again in a second!

AAA Piano is very professional, great customer service. They moved a piano from the seller to our house and they made it very stress-free for us. Steve communicated the moving plan very well. They also tuned our piano. Steve seems very knowledgeable about pianos, he shared a lot of information about the piano with me and kindly answered all my questions. I highly recommend their services.
Worst customer service ever. I would not call this guy for help if he was the last man on earth. Spend the time to get past this listing and find someone with kindness.
Owner Steve is not trust worthy person. He quoted verbally different than writing when about to charge the fee. Bigger problem is that he delivered my piano with different condition than he picked up my piano – couple keys are not working any more now, but he doesn’t want to be responsible for fixing. He took $1300 for delivery and storage and mess up my piano and don’t want to have responsible, so future potential customer please watch out. I would like to give zero star for my rating, but the lowest one is one star, so I chose one star.
I used AAA Piano to move a piano. When they quoted the job I said 3 steps up and 1 step down. It turns out it really was 6 steps up and 1 step down. For the extra 3 steps they gouged me an additional $25. Their argument was that they had to pull out a 6 foot ramp from their truck instead of a just 3 foot ramp. It could not have taken 2 minutes more time, yet they had me over the barrel. To put this into perspective, this was a 40 mile round trip piano move that would take about 1.5 hours, and Steve Stokes added 9% to the price on the spot because the number of steps was 6 instead of my estimate of 3. This simply was not honest and fair, so I will never use them again for any reason

One of their employee’s named Ryan sold me a broken Playstation 2 on Craigslist. He told me it worked perfectly fine, but when I brought it home, it didn’t work at all. I tried to get him to give me a refund but he wouldn’t. If they hire someone who is seriously that dishonest, I wouldn’t trust my car with them at all.
Here is my Yelp review. An absolute disaster. A nightmare of an experience. Poor customer service. I would not recommend Anderson Automotive doing business as the Toy Shop. I originally came in for a brake job. According to their team, the rear seals were leaking and had coated my rear brakes in oil. The job would be approximately $1,000. The very next day, I received a call from George letting me know there was a “small” issue with my truck. Overnight, my truck fell out of the lift and landed on another vehicle. There were multiple points of impact along the driver side of the truck. So now I had to get my vehicle into a body shop to repair all the damage. A week later, my vehicle still had not had any work done to it because there was a problem with their insurance as they had just taken over as new owners. 2 weeks after that, my vehicle was finally ready to be picked up from Kniesels. The Toy Shop tried to get the vehicle from Kniesels ahead of me in order to hold it for ransom so I would have to pay the full amount. I told my rep at Kniesels not to release my vehicle under any circumstances. The Toy Shop also had the audacity to have Kniesels’ secretary “remind” me that I had an unpaid balance with the Toy Shop. I spoke with the Toy Shop and explained to them how incredulous it seemed for them to expect me to pay them in full after they had dropped my vehicle and had caused me to be without my truck for 3 weeks. Rather than do the right thing, rather than treat a customer right and have them as a repeat customer, the owners decided that the absolute best they could do was charge me the job “at cost”. In summary, I had the worst experience ever with this car mechanic and I would encourage others to look elsewhere. It doesn’t matter if their equipment failed or if their employee failed. The bottom line is they screwed up royally by damaging two separate vehicles. I hope the other owners post their experience as well. I’m curious to know if they were forced to pay “at cost” as well for their vehicle.
