After a recent surgery kept me off the slopes, this guitar store was a godsend. Jonathan let me try out dozens of guitars including the new Bob Weir Bedford model (which plays like a dream). His customer care was spot on.
Comfy couches, Vox and BluesCube amps to play through made for a very relaxed and overall great experience. Normally, I play PRS, but will likely add one of theirs as well after trying them all out.
Such a gem in Aspen. Shane was super nice, laid back, and knowledgeable. The showroom is comfortable and the guitars are gorgeous. I visited three times, including nearly an hour killing time before a show at the Belly-up. I felt welcomed and I enjoyed the experience so much…I bought a 12-string.
Great showroom for guitars, amps, and pedals. The guys were extremely helpful and friendly. Store pups were a bonus. Comfy tee shirts
Great find- been playing guitars for decades and happened to stumble across this store.
Very impressed with the guitars and the showroom.
The store manager was very helpful and explained the brand in detail to my friend who accompanied me. He was knowledgeable, friendly and NOT pushy.
Def felt comfortable inside the store with their couches. Place was well appointed and very clean and tidy!
The guitars seemed well built and had great action and time.
Def considering this brand when I’m ready to increase the guitar herd.
Beautiful guitars! Walking into the store, you see the beautiful guitars and equipment out and ready to play. The staff here was nice and welcoming. Sadly, I’ve bought too many guitars in my life and couldn’t get another for the guitar’s sake. If, in the future, I ever want to buy another (for some reason), this is probably going to be the first place I look. Overall, I absolutely recommend these guitars for their good prices and amazing craftsmanship.
8/10
3. Jazz Aspen Snowmass
Address: 2000 Brush Creek Rd, Aspen, CO 81611 , Snowmass Village , Colorado , United States
Loved the village and the festival. We will keep coming back!
Been coming to this music festival since 2013 and have yet to be disappointed. Great open venue, food choices, bars and activities. Music acts that are astounding musically and relevant.
Great lineups, get tickets early
4. Fuel Cafe
Address: 45 Village Run Cir, Snowmass Village, CO 81615 , Snowmass Village , Colorado , United States
I don’t know about the food, but the coffee is good. Bring your own mug and it’s only $1.50 to fill it.
Great little cafe. I had a coffee and smoothie and both were good. Love the location.
Fuel has always been such a great place. Every thing is so delicious. Cant wait til they open back up for summer season!
Coffee, breakfast burritos, paninis and smoothies. Place seems to have changed hands recently, but the new owner appears to be all over it. Always a line but it moves quickly. Some indoor and outdoor seating. Price is reasonable for a resort area.
Used to be amazing but some recent changes knocked it down a peg. Still the best breakfast in town. Calling ahead is the move.
forgot my coffee and server seemed to be uninterested in serving
To the previous owner, all the locals know who you are, we miss you. Fuel has been sliding down hill ever since you left, both in quality and customer service. This place just isn’t the same anymore.
Terrible coffee
Good service and coffee the first time BUT on second visit the server was very rude and couldn’t be bothered helping us to get the type of coffee we wanted. Not going back for a third visit.
5. Snowmass Mall
Address: 105 Daly Ln, Snowmass Village, CO 81615 , Snowmass Village , Colorado , United States
A mall with beautiful gardens and yummy restaurants.
Great spot for grabbing a bite after a long day on the slopes. Lots of restaurants to choose from (but recommend booking in advance as there’s usually a wait for a table or it’s fully booked).
Loved the ice sculptures out during New Years! Beautifully lit up over the festive season.
Love this place a beautiful village a lots to do great restaurants and amazing views
Love this place…plenty of great shopping and wonderful people watching too!
A bit dated, a few good places but most of it feels like you’ve traveled back in time to the 70’s…except for the prices. Go to Zanes on the top floor and get a bourbon butter fried chx sandwich and a stiff drink or Venga Venga for a marg and fresh made guac with the best view of thr ski slooes
Neat area, free, short-term parking in Lot 6.
Minimal shps of interest.
I don’t hate places. Just not my thing.
Not very child friendly, and there’s a little amount of food selection
6. Mad Dog Ranch+Studios
Address: 955 Snowmass Creek Rd, Snowmass, CO 81654 , Snowmass Village , Colorado , United States
Hi there as a former resident ( originally from Liverpool England) musician lover many of my local musician friends would talk glowing about tge place i was wondering is your studio open to the public ( even for a quck visit) or do you have to book the whole studio? Thanks Thomas ✌
War noch nicht in Colorado
Marc is a beast!!! And the studio itself is so beautiful!!!
7. Snowmass Chapel & Community Center
Address: 5307 Owl Creek Road, Box 17169, Snowmass Village, CO 81615 , Snowmass Village , Colorado , United States
we see their services on YouTube we don’t hear the Church Bell ring like we usually do when the service starts on video today I got to ring the church bell after church however I got permission from the pastor to ring bell after the outside service
This venue is incredible!! The acoustics, the wall to wall guitars, and the comfortable theater seats. Great place to see local musicians leaving it all on stage. Also able to meet Steve, and he is a genuinely beautiful soul with a passion to share this space and enjoy good music. Our little mountain town is lucky to have this venue, what a gem.
Steve’s Guitars is a National treasure. Check out all the live streams at grassrootstv.org
It’s ok
Intimate venue blanketed in an eclectic collection of guitars. Great for solo or small acts to play in, especially warm acoustics.
Intimate, beautiful guitar display. Fun nice place to get to know musicians upclose. Byob.
This place chronically doesn’t pay their musicians who play there. 50% cut of door sales?? No response when folks try to collect their earnings?? Support local music – not this place.
10. New Belgium Ranger Station
Address: 100 Elbert Ln #115, Snowmass Village, CO 81615 , Snowmass Village , Colorado , United States
Ashley, the best server! Her service is always impeccable!
Great place to eat near the slopes. Close to slopes and tasty food. Can’t go wrong here.
.
The staff is the reason to keep coming back,
Probably skewed because i was in off season, but kitchen was closed at 7pm. Place is close enough to the westin that you can use wi fi. But its a small place inside. Solid for a rally point before going out, but maybe not a destination.
Friendly staff and the fire pit was Awesome to relax next to. Ordered a bacon bloody Mary and was told they are out of bacon after they made my drink but the the regular bloody Mary was pretty good regardless. We’re staying at the westin and the bartender at the hotel sucks… Happy we cam down stairs to to you guys.
Great spot at the base of Snowmass! Super friendly staff, great vibe.
I Wish they had some guest beers on tap, and a few more food selections.
The bartender was AWESOME. Have them select a flight of beer for you, delicious! The two stars is for when we sat outside. Our server was rude, inattentive, and messed up a couple of orders. We had a party of 7 and we’re ordering drinks but she never came around for food or another round. We had to chase her down to order. If you’re going here, go to the bar!!!!
We tried ordering food off their menu from the website and it turns out it’s an old menu. So when I asked them to tell me what they have they reply with “we are too busy to tell you what we have”. I understand that you can be busy but my family’s food order is just as important as the next. We were very upset with the customer service of this place.
Had my passport for ID purposes and no drivers license. They would not accept it as a valid form of ID, for whatever reason… and I was unable to get a fresh brew on a hot summer day… major bummer
