Best experience! From talking to the Owner Joe Office manager and getting a first time virtual lesson from Lauren Teacher. Everyone went above and beyond to getting me set up for Ukulele Lessons. I strongly suggest you check out Elevated Music Center Centennial CO 80122 for your music supplies, books, lessons. Located in a very cute and relaxed location on Commons, Southglenn mall. ❤️
We love the piano teachers who have been very dedicated in educating music my kids. And a big thank you to Kari, the school manager who has been managing our schedules and always making us feel so welcome!
2. Music Man Custom Home Audio
Address: Littleton, CO 80122 , Southglenn , Colorado , United States
Colin is an amazing bagpipe player and musician! His beautiful, melancholy music added the perfect touch to my sister’s memorial service. So many people commented on how much they enjoyed his performance. His traditional Highland kilt and entire outfit was a thing of beauty. For such a young man he is a true professional!
Exquisite performance, man knows how to keep a party alive
I’ve had great experiences buying vintage tubes from Fuzz Audio!
I ordered 3 NOS Mullard tubes from Fuzz audio for my 1969 Marshall. They quickly shipped. Unfortunately USPS destroyed the box.
Jon sent me out a fresh set of tubes, specially testing them ahead of time for low noise. I put them in my Marshall, and it’s never sounded better. Highly recommend!
Awesome experience doing business with them. Great service and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
No response from their customer support for various questions. Website boasts shipping product within 24 hours, but I still have an order unfulfilled after 5 days. They charged me and took payment within a day, though. This company or website may be a scam. There is no phone number or address listed, and all contact is via text or email.
Update: they answered email inquiry regarding order and upgraded one of the tubes to make up for the delay & lack of response. Which was a nice gesture. (All prior questions remain unanswered – which was about product I was intending to buy, and now most likely won’t buy from them)
Within the same day I had a fraudulent charge made on my credit card for a large amount at Amazon – which I have not ordered from for over 3 months.
Security on Fuzz Audio’s website may be compromised, or perhaps one of their employees isn’t trustworthy. I would be wary of ordering from this company.
It’s been 5 business days and many order hasn’t shipped
I messaged Fuzz Audio before placing the order as I was particular about the condition of the tubes. I wanted to have legitimate new old stock condition tubes. I wanted to spend the extra money to get clean working tubes and not have the hassle of trying to piece together all of them individually for my Deluxe Reverb. The order initially took over a week to ship out and then when the tubes arrived they were in less than “NOS” condition and the 12AT7s RCA blackplates I had requested were substituted with RCA 6201s. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to have let me know beforehand. Besides this the tubes all looked used, I got that they are old but these had noticeable wear on the glass and pins. Their were issues with microphonics, logos worn and no original boxes. Were these tubes even tested? It was a big let down. I messaged Fuzz Audio Support and after a week or so they said I could send back the tubes I didn’t want and get a replacement. I sent back a microphonic RCA 12AX7 and worn out RCA 6V6. He sent me a message and let me pick out which replacement I wanted. Which was great but then the wrong tube arrived and after he messaged me saying the one I picked had been sold. He then let me know he would message me again when he got more tubes in but then never replied to my response so I decided to just leave it alone. Now I’ve been having issues with my reverb and tremolo so I took it to a shop to be looked at and what would you know I’ve got two tubes testing low. I’m not hard on my amps and this one’s been used rarely the past 6 months. Luckily the tubes should still be covered under warranty. So I sent an email to Fuzz Audio Support letting them know the issues and no response. I re-sent the email again a week later and still nothing.
Bottom line: There is a big difference between “Tests” NOS and NOS tubes and I’m extremely doubtful these tubes are truly NOS. I’ve had multiple fail in less than 6 months, issues with microphonics, terrible customer service and attention to detail, and impressively slow shipping. Save your money and look elsewhere.
6. Children’s Music Academy of Centennial, CO
Address: 7562 S University Blvd Unit BB, Centennial, CO 80122 , Southglenn , Colorado , United States
Highly recommended fun way for children to learn piano. My kids started learning at 4 and are now taking on their own musical challenges once competing the sequence at CMA. The curriculum is well written, but I recommended choosing a teacher that works for you and your child at CMA. In my experience some are better/more fun/kinder than others. Nonetheless CMA provides a great foundation!
CMA is excellent! It is so much more than piano lessons! My kids truly love music, and they have such a strong foundation that includes theory, sight reading, ear training, voice training, a good understanding of rhythm, and improvisation. CMA has been a great gift to my family. Jan Cross is phenomenal! I feel that I cannot say enough. I encourage you to trust the process. Go through each step and before you know it, your family will be truly musical!
7. Best Buy
Address: 6707 S Vine St Ste D, Centennial, CO 80122 , Southglenn , Colorado , United States
We love our local Best Buy! The staff is always friendly and even with Covid their online shopping and in store pick-up is quick and convenient.
can not get anyone to answer the phone for assistance with an in-stock item. Feels like they are making you come to the store. Improper during the pandemic
This is our go to store. Wish we could pre-order super smash brothers steel case instead of checking website every day.
Mucha electronica
It was a nice store and the employees were helpful but I was not happy or impressed with the fact that one of the managers asked his employee as they were leaving to stay and jump on the cash registers.
Decent selection, terrible service. I stood around the laptop section for 20mins and no one helped me, went to Office Depot and got helped immediately and walked out with a new laptop.
No one really helped for the longest time kinda disorganized also what I was looking for, on their website it said they had 3 in stock went there and had 0 keep in mind I drove 30min out of my way because they were the only ones that “had” the product in stock
8. Ryan Elwood
Address: 6574 S Broadway Ste 200, Centennial, CO 80121 , Southglenn , Colorado , United States
Ryan is not only a great drum player (who actively plays gigs!), he is a true educator and excellent communicator. I’m a later-in-life drummer, taking lessons in my 30s, and I’m a teacher myself, so I had very high expectations of a music teacher. He has poured out drumming theory to help my mind learn and he is extremely patient and persistent teaching my physical movements. The combination of these two things have made all the difference. I came in knowing the basics and after only a few weeks learning from Ryan, I now have a deeper love & respect of drumming as an art form. If someone can help transform your knowledge, physical ability, and love for drumming, its Ryan!
My son has been taking lessons with Ryan for a few months now, and he is an amazing instructor! My son is 12 and had never played before. Ryan is very patient and excellent at tailoring his expertise to any level drummer. I highly recommend Ryan Elwood to anyone from new drummers to experienced, looking to fine tune their craft.
I started playing drums at age 52, and then began periodic lessons with Ryan about a year later. He was really able to quickly help me focus and direct my energies as a beginning jazz drummer, to the point where I was able to start playing with other musicians within the next year. I still occasionally see him when time permits and I need a tune-up, and his direction and advice is always spot-on!
9. Modern Music Studio
Address: 4181 E County Line Rd f1, Centennial, CO 80122 , Southglenn , Colorado , United States
These are my guys! Very professional! Great people, great experience, great music! YA DIGG
I worked the front desk at MMS and it was one of the best jobs I’ve had to date. Jeremy is an awesome, fearless leader who always has a smile on his face and something positive to say. He definitely gives 110% in every aspect! The teachers have been so great to work with as well, they all care so much about their students and sharing their knowledge as well as learning with the students. Thank you for the wonderful experience Modern Music Studio!
We have been going to Modern Music Studio for over 2 years. The owner, Jeremy Spillen, is absolutely fantastic as an instructor, business owner, and human being. He has been warm and welcoming to us from the very first day we spoke to him during our search for a new music instructor and to this very day. He has always treated us like family and is nothing but friendly, professional, and there is no question that he is passionate about encouraging and supporting people – young and old – in their music exploration, knowledge, and experience. My son has not only expanded his knowledge in guitar but has also learned about music recording, the joy of sharing his enthusiasm with others, and has had fun doing it with Jeremy along side him every step of the way. My son has also taken some master classes and lessons with other instructors and the level and quality of service remained high. I recommend MMS to everyone we know who is interested in music in any way and wants to feel like more than just another number. We are proud and privileged to be a part of the MMS family! Thank you!
10. Music & Arts
Address: 5158 S Broadway, Englewood, CO 80113 , Southglenn , Colorado , United States
I’ve had great experiences the two times I’ve visited this store. The most recent time I visited I got my banjo restrung and tuned which was done very well.
This is easily the best Music & Arts or music store in the Denver metro as far as I am concerned. Eddie and John customer service and passion for music is unparalleled!! They definitely went above and beyond while assisting my daughter in re-stringing her Cello and continuing her music career.
They will have all my business moving forward, Thanks Eddie and John!!!
Highly recommend this place had a wonderful experience!
I have 6th grader playing percussion this year and they were extremely helpful in getting us set up with a rental kit for him that has everything he needs for class! They also offer classes!! Shout out to the employee Corey thanks for your help!
Nice place check it out
i guess its okay if you want a 99$ beginner acoustic or an overpriced pair of drum sticks…
Decent sheet music selection. They do repairs but send the instrument off for them to be done. Double check the repair receipt as mine was overcharged by $120.00. They did fix the error, but only after I argued 3 times with the workers. Satisfactory but not my first choice. I do love the accessory selection though.
It is the worst and cheating place. Be care full if your children miss the class. We had a very bitter experience. Skyler the violin teacher who failed to take 3 violin classes in the month of May. The store manager and Eric who agreed us to compensate the classes in the month of July. We went and asked them for compensation class. They don’t have any reports and not maintained the proper records for missing classes. They are treating us as an animals not even communicate with us properly. We had been to store more than 3 times and they are not responding to our query and also not even call back us to update the scenario. They discriminate the people based on Nation.
Just walked in the store, not a customer in sight, 4 employees huddled and not one spoke to me or offered assistance. I headed to leave and asked “are you too busy to assist a customer?” They said no but I still was not offered assistance
Today I called the sister store guitar center looking for Hal Leonard’s key stickers for all keyboards. They stated they did not have it but that Music & arts center would. I called your location in Englewood asking for that specific product. I spoke to Garret on the phone; he stated they had the exact product I was looking for. I drove 35 minutes to pick up said product. When I arrived no one greeted me instead a man stood in a corner looking at products (leading me to believe he was a customer) and a random voice coming from underneath the counter by the registers but no person standing there. I proceeded to look around from my product which was no where to be seen. Finally I approached the man seeing if he knew who could help me. Turns out it was Garret himself, at which point he pulled out the exact opposite product I drove 35 mins looking for telling me that is all they had. Turns out the voice behind the counter was an employee talking about fighting someone on her personal phone during work hours instead of helping me.
The customer service at this location is awful. If he would have paid attention to me on the phone I could have drove 2 mins to get the same thing he had me drive 35 mins for.
Also if the other employee wasn’t bringing her personal problems and dealing with them on company time I wouldn’t have had to walk around the store looking for a product I didn’t even need.
11. BBE X IMME Music Studio
Address: 5350 DTC Pkwy, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 , Southglenn , Colorado , United States
Got my guitar here manager was super nice and understood what I wanted and helped me in every way she could
Every time I walk in I always feel welcomed and the employees are always amazing:) highly recommend
Very limited options. Good for beginner or any starter . Cheaper instruments and cheap music stand. Not recommended for intermediate or professional needs :/
Your one stop shop whether you want to buy or rent or repair musical instruments. They have friendly staff with reliable service and they do have branches at many places in Colorado
Good selection of musical gear, instruments, some sheet music, and other necessities. The rental prices are high – the markup on their instruments is, too- but overall it’s a good store with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Helpful staff, but totally under staffed. If you roll in expect a huge line and pack a lunch. It is a very poor experience.
I rented a trumpet for my daughter and as I was returning it, one of the workers said that I could get a hundred dollars credit for a different instrument. I told her that I would wait until my kids were out of school so they could pick which instrument they wanted. Last Thursday, I went in with my kids to return the trumpet and find a new instrument. I gave the trumpet to the man at the cashier, expecting him to complete the process with the credit opportunity. Without a word, he returned the trumpet without mentioning the credit opportunity. When I asked about it, he said “Sorry I already returned it. I can’t do anything about it.” This employee scammed me, and his response was a pathetic excuse of an apology. I am incredibly disappointed. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Purchased a viola starter pack at a school rental night. Was told it would be delivered to the school within a few days. It is now more than a month later and my kid never got the starter pack. To top it off the customer service line does not answer the phone. I sent an email to see if I could get it resolved and the same day I got a random $30 charge on my credit card. This has been a very frustrating experience and my daughter still has no viola pack!

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Thanks for all your help!
Great place, wonderful staff, awesome equipment. Highest prices.
Great warranties , they always repair my music equipment fast.
Great service
Address of particular store is,
9647 E County Line Rd
Englewood, CO 80112
I purchase a guitar processor ( used ) upon getting it home to plug it in to play around with it the unit won’t even power on. I have played guitar ( acoustic ) for years but only recently started playing electric. My neighbor before moving here was a significant guitar player from a big 80’s band. I am not going to included name as he has nothing to do with the issue and I have no idea of his business relationships just know he was a cool dude and could party like well a ROCK STAR. The stores answer for this issue was you can return it for a refund. I myself am a very busy man that works 18 hrs a day
( how I afford live by 80’s rock star’s ) and my time is money I lost. So now not only did I not get what I paid for I also lost probably about 2-3 hrs of my time with ordering, pickup, returning unit, and all for nothing. I have no working product and if I want one I will have to do the process all over again as it wasn’t offered a exchange, perhaps discount towards the purchase of a different unit, or any other sort of compensation for the time I have spent to get a product that is worthless. It has nothing to do with the money of the matter yes it was a used unit but I as I’m sure most people do held guitar center to a standard of quality and trusted that I was getting at the very minimum a usable product. Well don’t make the same mistake I did and think this of the company, they know that the sale of one person of my stature ( nobody in music business ) won’t hurt them one bit and may as well told me to F**k OFF and we as consumers have allowed them to be able to do this. Now I grew up in small town with small business the damn guy seen you 5-6 times a year knew your name what strings and pics you wanted and if you did have a product issue would have drove to your house with a working replacement if that’s what was need to satisfy a customer. I’ve ramble here long enough so I’ll go ahead and wrap this up with a BIG F**K YOU GUITAR CENTER learn to stand behind your products and appreciate the fact that you have customers because the small local places sure did before you put them out of business.
Was gaslit by the cashier when I went to buy a new guitar that had really bad fret wire.
Like, they were sharp and would leave shallow cuts in your skin.
Told me it was normal and was likely due to the humidity. Yeah, that was a lie. And thanks to the random woman who chimed in to also gaslight me into buying a guitar that wasn’t in sellable condition, for full price too..
Purchased a couple of drum heads from GC about 3 months ago. One of them broke last week with me just playing normally. I took it back to GC expecting that they’d would recognize that it had to be faulty. I was VERY disappointed when they told me that they would not exchange it for me. I have been going to GC for all of my instrument needs for many years and spent tons of money there. No more. I will find a new place to get my equipment. Very poor customer service here.
Stephan and his team are an amazing group of people who are caring, patient, fun, hard working and talented. Playing music at Littleton School of Music is the highlight of my week. I have made some excellent friends at the school who are part of my life for several years now. I am really looking forward to the day my daughter is old enough to start lessons at LSM. Thank you for all you do Stephan!
I researched a number of music schools for our daughter and Littleton School of Music was the most passionate about their mission. The instructors are all fantastic and obviously love what they do. My goal was to find a place that would make learning fun and keep my child interested and looking forward to her lessons. This is definitely the right place!
My son loves his teacher, and he has really improved.
I cannot speak for the lesson part of this establishment but If you’re looking for work go to school of rock. I did an interview and a background check then waited for a month without so much as a email or call and when I called I was told I couldn’t be guaranteed a call from anyone and was laughed at. When I tried for school of rock I was hired in under half the time.
I am not angry about not getting the job but I am frustrated with not being told. It is hard to make it in the music industry you should be looking to help those who are interested in working for you not making it harder.
Ps. As a reply to the owner, again I’m not angry about not being hired I’m angry about having no communication, about being laughed at when asking for communication and for not being able to talk to the owner.
I cannot speak of the instructors since we never got that far, but can only speak of administrative issues. My husband requested info for getting our son into banjo lessons. He was immediately responded to. But when I sent an email asking about their COVID policies, and whether it would be too much to ask our son’s instructor to wear a mask since our son has a lung disease and is high risk, I got nothing. I sent 4 emails asking for a response. I was completely ghosted. We were so bummed because this seemed like it would have been a great fit for our little guy.
20. Music Go Round
Address: 8055 W Bowles Ave #2C, Littleton, CO 80123 , Southglenn , Colorado , United States
Great Place To Shop !!
Littleton’s Best Kept Secret !!!
Customer service is 100% the best
The people there are very helpful and knowledgeable.
Great place to look for used gear! They have a decent selection of everything especially if you have kids! and the employees are nice. I’ve sold a few thing here and I’ll say they offer the absolute lowest price they can when you don’t take store credit… If you have something to sell and need the cash quick it’s great otherwise you have to be looking to trade for something in the store for it to be worth it.
I had high hopes but just wasn’t impressed. Compared to the Aurora location, this store falls short.
The guitar area was decent with everything displayed nicely but the biggest disappointment was the amps. All the amps we’re covered in dust and we’re absolutely filthy compared to any other store I’ve been to. NONE of the amps were plugged into the power strips so you had to ask for all the cords and power cables just to try anything. That made trying to really test the sound of any guitar a nightmare.
The acoustic room was decent but everything good was locked up so one really couldn’t try much without assistance.
The keyboard section was ok but they definitely needed to be cleaned and at least plugged in for one to try.
The glass cases displaying pedals, audio interfaces, microphones and other accessories was good and decently organized.
All in all, it’s an ok store, but some serious attention needs to be paid to the presentation of all items, ESPECIALLY the guitar amps. All items need to be thoroughly cleaned and then put out on the floor with proper presentation with included power cables so every piece can be tested by the customer. No one wants to have to ask for all the missing pieces just to try something out.
Musical Go Round is a great place to find certain used gear at a decent price if you know what you are looking for. It is a fun place to look around. I have bought guitars, sound and drum gear over there. I like the fact that they have a variety of instruments / other gear there too. They also do guitar set ups here too. I have to give Doug props for making my old Squire Affinity play nice again.
Bought a DJ mixer online and paid shipping. Called up after 3 days as I didn’t receive any update about my order. Guy told me that they sold the mixer at the store and will just issue me a refund. What a joke of a store.
I’ve been going here since I was like 6. When I decided to start playing guitar they helped me pick out the perfect one. I go here to buy pretty much all of my gear.
Edit: this place has really gone down. Went in today… took them 15 minutes to even acknowledge I was at the counter… I was trying to sell something, and nobody was in there, and they told me they wouldn’t have time to get me in that day even though I went in at 4, and they don’t close until 8… and it wasn’t even just this last time that was bad, it’s been the last several… it’s gotten so bad I’ve started going to spaceman guitars in a sketchy part of town.
I wish this place was cool, but the prices are a little too high, the trade-in value is half of what you’d sell on Craigslist/Facebook, and the staff couldn’t care less. Nice browsing opportunity though.
Edit for owner: thanks for your response, I “understand” now.
