They sold me the perfect gig bag for my 12 string guitar….the guy was very patient and helpful
They are the best.
Whether you want to buy something or are looking to get something repaired they are the local go to guys.
Highly recommend.
Nice people to buy from.
Firstly, this shop provides great service on guitars, setups and string changes. But beware of purchasing a guitar that is not currently hanging on their shelf. For example, the Fender American Professional II Strat, comes in 9 different colors. If you want a color that isn’t hanging on their wall, they will offer to get it for you, but it will be considered a “special order” and not eligible to be returned. This is an odd policy since they are an authorized Fender dealer. If you order the guitar direct from Fender, or Sweetwater, or any other online retailer, the guitar is eligible for return no questions asked. So essentially, trying to support a small shop will eliminate any guarantees offered by the manufacturer. Understand, I realize a small shop has limitations and must do what’s best for their bottom line. However, it was never communicated to me “hey if I order this guitar for you, it’s unreturnable.” The thought never crossed my mind to ask, since the item I ordered was a stock offering from Fender, nothing special or custom about it. It’s extremely surprising that a Fender dealer is not able to provide the same customer satisfaction policies that are in place by Fender themselves. Most of the guitars hanging on the walls are mid-tier or entry level guitars, so if you want something better, and you want the peace of mind to return it if you’re not happy with it, then I suggest looking elsewhere. If you need a great setup on your guitar, ReMix can do it.
We bought a guitar here for our son a couple weeks back. One guy was way too salesy and talked too much but I like supporting local so we bought one.
Friendly’s staff knows equipment.
I will never deal with them again,
I would like everyone that may read this to know that this business has absolutely NO AFFILIATION with Lee Hight or the original Musicians Pro Shop in Springdale.
The fact that they are trying to use the name as their slogan is very disappointing to me & my family and misleading to potential customers.
Please quit trying to profit off of my dad’s legacy.
Edited to respond to your response:
First, the response you gave me here and the response you gave on Facebook present two different ideas: one playing dumb and one asking permission. That alone shows your dishonesty. At least be consistent.
Second, my uncle Larry did not own the Musicians Pro Shop. He’s an easy going guy but he cannot give any real permission to use a name of a business that he did not own. I do not blame him for this though.
Third, the fact that you are sticking to the legality argument just shows that you lack morals because we are well aware that what you are doing is not illegal. My family has been reached out to numerous times regarding your awning and billboard by people that are furious. I worked at a music store for 6 years in the area and met dozens and dozens of people who told me they knew my dad and shared great stories about him. Your narrative that “no one remembers the business 25 years later” is very rude and naive to say. I’d be willing to bet that no one will remember Remix music in 25 years.
Last, you could have used your response to apologize, show empathy and explain yourself in a much better way that I would’ve respected you for. Instead you chose to gaslight me and be defensive.
As a local business, you depend on your community to pay your bills. Angering your local community is the last thing you’d want to do. This is a bad look for you and it will come back to bite you at some point. Best of luck.
Didn’t like the guy’s attitude or the prices. I probably won’t be back.

Paid 540 to have a complete refurbishment of my alto sax only to get home, start to play and realize they one of my keys clanging against the guard. After inspection I realized they failed to put one of the red felt buffers under the key guard or it was knocked out in the cleaning and was missed upon the final inspection.
Update 4-19-2023
Upon realization of the their mistake, Palen’s store manager contacted me, set up an appointment to meet me at my house, took the instrument back to the store and brought it back to me several days later with the error corrected. I understand that we are all human and mistakes happen but what makes up for it is the customer service offered. With that in mind I must say that Palen’s customer service is amazing and they have earned a repeat customer.
Great service. Great music playing while I waited. Grateful for the help and thoughtfulness of having loaners available while one is under repair. Thanks!
I brought in a horn that was new to me here for a cleaning and general check up, but was informed of some larger issues with the horn that I had not noticed before. The diagnosis was quick, and the turn around on repairs were extremely fast. I got my horn back and it felt brand new!
I wouldn’t take a tuba anywhere else.
Knowledgeable rep who answered all my questions.
Friendly and careful repair. Would give 5 Stars if a more affordable option/tier of instrument was available to increase accessibility. We rent to own and carry insurance, paying about $45 a month for each instrument.
Very easy to rent an instrument for my kiddo. Packages are affordable, website was very user-friendly.
Nice store
I did not want to provide contact information for a relative in case I don’t make my payments. There was no other option when renting from Palen. I think it’s wrong to want to hit up extended family if I don’t keep my committments.
I have never had an instrument fixed properly. I don’t know if their piccolo person is just lazy or they don’t know. I will get my instrument and take it back and extra time or two to get them to actually fix what I asked them to fix the first time. I’ve even had my instrument come back more damaged than when I sent it in. Make sure you take extensive note of the condition given and condition returned. Make sure you give it a very good once over when you get it back too.
