They let me come through the drive through even though I didn’t have a vechicle. Super nice and very friendly staff
This MC Donald’s is small but clean.
Closes at 2200 daily.
Slow. ..even for ice coffee with out anything else
It’s your typical mcdonald’s
Service was not good. Yo worried about his buddies standing there. No friendly at all
got breakfast sandwiches with cheese on them even though specifically ordered without cheese after a 10 minute wait even though i was the only customer in the restaurant
They never seem to get ur order right hear

Met up with local friends and we had a great experience. We arrived early and were greeted and served promptly with water and beer while we waited. Ordered the cheese curds, poppers and a pizza for dinner. Excellent food, cold beer and service. We will definitely be back for the welcoming experience and good food. Thank you for the hospitality!
This is such an awesome place. Especially with live music in the beer garden.
The only word I can use for the Corner Tap is magical!! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was even better. I’m pretty sure I seen unicorn rainbows gleaming off my steak sandwich! Im speachless, the only way I can get through this life is knowing that I get to come back time and time again! Saint Louis loves the Corner Tap!!
Nice small town bar. Enjoyed the cheeseburgers! Food was served . Appreciate that.
Food was very good
Had an Italian beef sandwich and a beer. Service was excellent but the Italian beef was tough and flavorless. I would not order it again. I’ll try something else in the future.
Update
Tried a Buffalo chicken sandwich that was great.
Overall a good bar and good food
Terrible food. Best pizza from here to Freeport? Written by Corner Taps staff, not a poll or food connoisseur. Little Mama Ciminos, BEST pizza from Stockton to Freeport. Be your own judge 🙂
I was so happy to find a place where I could get a great pizza, and not have to drive to chicago…. well I did…
My first visit was great! Pizza was awesome, the lady was nice.. I celebrated in a sense .. finally! But then I kept going back.. each time , just a little ruder, wait a little longer.. then there was last night..
Nothing like being treated like nothing.. so I call, lady picks up, I know Fridays are busy seeing they have great food.. because I’m not ordering fast enough, she asks me who I’m talking to at the top of her lungs threw the phone.. I’m taken, I ask did u just yell at me.. the phone goes dead.. seeing I just bought a house two minutes away, I’ll go in..
WHOA bad idea. I walk in.. both workers look at me from behind the bar, and continue talking. The short blond looks me right in the face, and continues to giggle, older gentleman serves a picture of beer looks at me and walks away.. I continue to stand there, finally the blond asks me how she can help. I say I would like to talk to a manager, I was just yelled at on the phone. She throws her hands up and says, u can handle this one , and looks at the old wr guy, I tell him what happens, this man goes in the back room and gets the person who yelled at me and brings her out, she then gets in my face telling me she wasn’t yelling.. I run a store .. u DO NOT GET TOUR EMPLOYEE TO CONFRONT A CUSTOMER WHO IS PUTTING IN A COMPLAINT!
this establishment is great to the locals.. not good for us people passing threw, or who are not from here..
I’ve ordered out from here 8 times since March. And 5 out of the 8 the people behind the counter have made me so uncomfortable..
If your not local.. ur better off at jj freddies
Card said it was open, but closed at 3pm

Gary and I stopped for lunch looking for a brew and sandwich. The service was excellent and the staff was really friendly. Had an awesome cat fish sandwich! Loved it will definitely be back be back.
Buena comida
$25 for a four topping pizza??? A little pricey. The pizza was pretty good. Service wasn’t terrible, just not very welcoming.
Love there burgers
So far they were out of wings and the Ruben balls. Not a good start. Why 3 stars. Hopefully my Italian sandwich is good
Food was mediocre. They need blinds on the windows due to INTENSE bright light blinding people. Set up packs people in so tightly, it’s hard to eat without being in the path of others.
Potatoes didn’t look like they had been washed and it was old like it had been sitting in warmer all day. Our waitress didn’t come back to ask us if we wanted refills. And salad bar wasn’t stocked up. May not go back!
Not very well service was very bad

Great staff! Really know their product. I’ve known them for over 40 years and you can’t do better!
Bought a Taylor 716ce. Randy was great to deal with. The guitar arrived as advertised, pristine A1 condition.
I will definitely recommend Randee’s and would do business with them again without hesitation. Thanks for getting me a great guitar!!!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
Staff is very friendly.
Great place for all of your guitar needs!
Very knowledgeable and helpful.
Well, I purchased a Gibson guitar on line from Randee’s. It came somewhat damaged, but it had to to do with Gibson. The nut on the guitar was bad.
Here is the catch, this was bad from the get go, so the either did not inspect the guitar, or just past the problem to me.
I had to pay 2 in shipping to get the repair. I am waiting to see how good the repair will be.
Yet, to be satisfied.
Not a bogus review. You guys did a GK-3 pickup install on my guitar and your tech left a passive aggressive note complaining about the install. Such a weird reaction to claim it’s a bogus review, glad I don’t go here anymore.
The prices are OUTRAGEOUS, their shipping is a joke, and everything is damaged. I’ve seen the EXACT SAME PRODUCTS at Guitar Center for about 2000 dollars CHEAPER! I will never be going to this place again. Guitar Centers service might suck, but at least you get QUALITY!
Randees has great pianos, however they hire cheap labor to deliver those great pianos! and drag their feet when it’s time to pay the worker!

Dropped of a couple unruly guitars a couple weeks ago for setup. Got them back today. Superb job of setup and caught a loose pu wire. Love your guitars all over again.
Excellent customer service and great selection of instruments
Came down to Rockford last night to play an hour and ten minute show at the BMO Harris Center before the Ice Hogs game. Since it wasn’t a paid gig I packed “light”. Skipped the rolling snare case in light of my “Tool Kit” which carries the basics, stick case, lightweight tom legs, stick holder, tom holder (off a cymbal stand), two cymbal stands, throne, snare stand and high hat stand. For drums I took a 4 piece,. Bass drum, floor tom, rack tom, and of course snare. For cymbals: Ride, ,high- hats, two crash cymbals. While setting up, I realized I was missing the high hat stem that holds the top high-hat and is the “guts of the stand”. Ninety miles from home and 45 minutes to showtime I zipped over to Guzzardo. The associate I spoke to on the phone was waiting and had three different pieces ready. After two misses we were down to the last piece in the store or I was going to have to buy a new HH stand, (For the record I have three). Sure nuff the third try netted us the correct piece and I was out the door and on time for our gig. Support these guys whenever you can, they’re incredibly nice and all of the people that work there from what I heard was that they are a co-op (they now own the store) are all musicians themselves and really seem to care. Thanks for being around and open to 6:00, you saved me from looking like an idiot. GREAT PEOPLE,
The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. A very wide selection. Only complaint is the smell of mold throughout. Rip out that carpet and put in wood laminate. Your sales will spike.
My first bass is from here. Was kind of expensive but got everything you need to set up your own gig.
Friendly knowledgable staff and they have a guitar tech on hand. Great for bands and band needs, but horrible for DJs, couldn’t fine one amplifier to work with my digital equipment. From the outside the place looks deserted, but once you step inside, it’s two floors of musical independent.
Needed a simple restring on 2 guitars. It’s 9a.m. There were 2 employees in the store. I was told that the guitar tech would not be till later so i had to drop them off. Then they said it take a “couple of days” remember now im in a music store thats slow and empty and between the two employees obviously nothing was going to get done. Fine.
So the next day Saturday i called first thing then i was told that no one had gotten to it and the guitar tech was off on. The weekend. That means i most likely would not get my guitar back til monday possibly tuesday. Why would somebody (spencer) not tell me that? Right from the get go. Also when i did call the employee said “well we have been slow so they put stuff to the side” so i went down and got my guitars back. I will just go somewhere else. This was my visit here unimpressed. I find it funny that no one there could have strung them up since they were so “slow”.
Avoid.
They have the worst service of any music store I’ve ever been to. Their store is literally a dank basement area and every time I’ve gone there, the workers ignore me until I ask them for something, and even then, they just give me dirty looks as if I’m wasting their time. Then, they’ll treat me poorly if they don’t have what I need, as if it’s my fault. One time I went to get reeds. I told them what type and how many, and they said, “We only have three.” When I asked if they could please check in the back or something, they gave me an attitude and told me to either get what they had or get something else. They only hold enough information about instruments to get you to buy their trash, similar to phone case vendors at the mall. They don’t care at all about helping you find what you need; honestly I don’t even know why they run a music store if they don’t even care about their customers or their instruments. How anyone can give this place a 5-star rating is beyond me, unless they are literally people from the store, trying to make it seem good with their 4.5 star review average.
I bought a new Martin from here and gave detailed specs to setup for their “certified” guitar tech. The nut action was unplayable. No mention of blemishes on the neck and finish. Won’t return my texts now. Also told me they would ship it out on early dec 20th. Didn’t go out until end of day on December 22nd. I wouldn’t recommend anyone deal with them. I am now sitting on NEW unplayable Martin guitar that isn’t as described. I’m sorry but if their tech is a professional he could simply read feeler gauges. The nut action is .024 on one side and .010 on the other. ?? Have pictures to back all this up as well.

Don’s is fantastic! Always helpful! Great prices! A+
I spent more than I expected (my choice) but Don made so many points in customer service I felt more than compensated. Bought a Roland keyboard Bluetooth connectivity ☺️
Don knows his stuff. We bought many instruments from him and he is a great guy and cares about his customers.
Gd selection
11. Woodbine Bend Golf Course and Restaurant
Address: 3500 E Center Rd, Stockton, IL 61085 , Stockton , Illinois , United States
The food was spectacular. The service was flawless. The live music was perfect. Great dining experience overall.
I was initially very disappointed. We walked into the restaurant and it literally took a half hour to get anyones attention. The waitress next to us completely acted like we were invisible. I understand if it’s not your table but at least acknowledge us and let someone else know who is. We finally flagged down another waitress who couldn’t have been nicer and the food was great. We have been to this restaurant many times and have never experienced anything like this before. This review is only meant to bring it to the managers attention so it doesn’t happen again. We will definitely be back!
Nice course for golfing, kinda hilly not many trees. Staff is friendly and helpful
Was here for a party. Service was ok and food not so much!
Staff was less than friendly from start to finish. Nice golf course but I won’t be going back.
I fell backwards after my ball went over the green
Pro…..One of my favorite courses. Beautiful, challenging and well maintained.
Con.. will never play here again after we were accused of leaving a huge divot on the green. I informed the manager that we weren’t responsible for the damage and then was called a liar. Long story short, after several choice words with the man I told him to fu$$ off and promised I will never spend another dime there.
12. West Music Davenport
Address: 3849 N Brady St, Davenport, IA 52806 , Stockton , Illinois , United States
Not only did they repair my trombone, when I made a mistake they helped me solve the problem I created. They were very kind about it. Highly recommend!
My visit was pleasant and informative. I had a great sales person help me with making a purchase decision. Very professional yet easy to talk with. I left your store smiling and excited knowing you were available for any music needs I might need.
Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Offered to demonstrate the instrument and allowed me to to try. Highly recommend for everyone at any level.
Staff was very helpful. Picking out guitar strings for my acoustic electric guitar.
I wish the correct holiday store hours had been posted online. The website claimed the store would be open until 6p. I assume now that those are the regular hours for a Wednesday night. My family drove in to pick up a Christmas present only to find the place closed before 3:30. It put a huge damper over the holiday.
Great place. Has what you need in the instrument line usually.
Brought my bow in to get the tip replaced. They replaced the hair instead. Now I’m out for the price of restringing the hair and bringing it elsewhere to get the tip redone.
I turn over my clarinet to be repaired (the cork). 4 days later they say they’re done, but I take a look at home and they didn’t do Jack and the cork is actually worse than before! Dirty money grabbers.
Overpriced and rude employees. Go to West music instead! Employees there are friendly and helpful! Bought a violin string and charged me nearly double than what I pay at West music. Stay clear from this store. When I returned the string, the guy who did the return was very rude and condescending. I won’t ever do business with them again.
13. AM Guitar Works
Address: 2660 E 53rd St #6, Davenport, IA 52807 , Stockton , Illinois , United States
I drove two hours to get to this top-notch, full-service guitar shop. Very strong selection of guitars for a store its size. Inventory changes daily, so you’ll want to stop by often. Super-friendly and helpful staff–all of them teach lessons, which can be in-person or virtual. Their repair and custom shop can fix or upgrade any instrument. A real part of the community, many of the staff play in local bands or solo gigs. I give them my highest recommendation.
Took my daughter here to buy a ukulele. Great service and very knowledgeable staff!
Had some work done on my Banjo and I was very happy the results. Was done in a timely manner (few days) and at a pretty good price. Would definitely recommend
Always friendly and courteous. Guitar set ups are relative, depending on what your preference is. I’m used to Paul Munden’s low action setups with perfect intonation, but he’s in Texas now. Paul’s skills with guitars around here is legendary, he was offered a job by Fender guitar because of his skills, so it’s not fair to make comparisons to him. Set ups at AM’s shop have been ok but not great. The price for his set up has always been at the high end of the spectrum. And I found that extra work would be done without asking me first, that I did not ask for, which raised my bill. So started taking my guitars elsewhere but brought my amps into AM.
I recently took my fender vintage tube amp in because it would cut out on me off and on. After a few weeks the amp was finally ready. When I went to pick it up I was told the problem was just a loose socket. But Alan decided to do a mod on my vintage amp that cost a lot more money without contacting me first and asking me if I wanted it done. I was told that he is getting out of the amp repair business because it takes time away from his guitar work. I have no problem with that, but when I noticed I have a cricket sound after I got it back home and contacted him to see if he could see if it had anything to do with his mod, he dismissed it and said he told me he used it for teaching sessions after his repair and never noticed the cricket sound so it must be a new problem. And then told me again he doesn’t repair amps.
I’ve been a professional salesman for a Fortune 500 company for over 28 years. I went out of my way for my customers and busted a gut to make them happy, and gone the extra mile sometimes at my own expense. Nice guy at AM, but under the surface seems more concerned about the money.
14. PM Music Center
Address: 4411 Fox Valley Center Dr, Aurora, IL 60504 , Stockton , Illinois , United States
You need anything music related? They got it. I rented my violin from there and they’re pretty awesome. Totally recommend.
Great choice of instruments and accessories, friendly staff and simply nice place. It is advertised as a music school on the web site but it is a great music shop as well.
Amazing customer service. The tall gentleman at the front and the other guy is truly amazing and helpful. They are also patient and knowledgeable. Thanks.
Great place with very friendly staff members. They’re always willing to help. I used them for instrument rental for a couple of my kids.
Very friendly and welcoming place. Had an issue with a repair but they corrected the problem. Took more than stop to resolve the issue, so 4 out 5 stars. Would still recommend and will continue to shop here.
Good
15. StringWorks
Address: 327 Franklin St, Geneva, IL 60134 , Stockton , Illinois , United States
Evan is a very resoectful guy, I came in with hundreds of questions from strings to technique…. he took so much time with us and offered much help! He’s a great guy, with lots of knowledge and wonderful to work with!
You have to come to this shop!
Evan was super helpful and very knowledgeable. I went in for a viola bow and case and ended up getting my viola inspected by one of their luthiers as well. Everyone was polite and happy to help me. What a great place!
A wonderful experience buying this cello. I had been playing for 6 months but my first cello was a plywood laminate and as I progressed I felt like I was having to fight it to make a sound. When I contacted Evan he was so patient and explained things at my level. Somehow he found me the perfect cello. As it was being shipped to Canada during winter, he watched the weather patterns between their shop and where I live and found the perfect window for shipping. Arrived well packaged and protected.
I had bought the Michael Todd III Special Edition, thinking I would upgrade it in the future; but this cello is amazing. It sounds as good as my teacher’s $10k cello and it has not even had a chance to open up yet. My teacher was extremely impressed. The set up is amazing. I can play for hours on this without hand pain and tension, which was an issue with my old cello.
And just and FYI to any Canadian shoppers – there is no duty on string instruments. So no hidden/extra costs upon arrival.
Nope! I am going to let the pictures speak for themselves. This was supposed to have been worked on by the head luthier, took 3 weeks to arrive, AND cost $1,500! looks like a junior high project that would have gotten a poor grade. I could not ship it back to them fast enough! Utter trash.
So very disappointed. I guess they are lucky that I am not reporting them to the BBB.
16. Swing City Music Co
Address: 1811 Vandalia St, Collinsville, IL 62234 , Stockton , Illinois , United States
So happy with everything they’ve done for me, from customer service to repairs to my guitar.
Screw Guitar Center, Dude here actually helped me
The staff at this store is amazing. Very helpful and fair. George was great in helping me to purchase a D-18. Massive inventory. I highly recommend this music store for any musician at any level. Thanks again for your help, guys!
A good old school music store.
It’s a really good place. Sorry, we were the ones that crashed intk the building
My experiences their have been very bad. Only 2 people in the store know anything. The owner who name is Art is a complete and total jerk!!! Don’t expect him to respect you unless you are spending loads of Cash. His workers are nice. The store though just feels dusty everytime I walk in their. This has been my experience. Use to like them now Im just fed up with customer service. They do have rare gear tho. Which for me is why I liked visiting their.
The entrance was beautiful the photos of all the different artist and musicians was wonderful and gave me an idea of what I could be some day. I was greeted appropriately, and they answered all my questions, but that was just what they did. They didn’t ask any further questions or give me a reason to be there and learn about the infinite possibilities of music from them and their instructors. It seemed like their knowledge of music and instruments had become just a job.
When renting a violin be prepared to purchase the moment you go to a full size otherwise you loose all credit built up over the years. Such a RIP off
