Awesome selection of brass instruments and accessories. Friendly staff and a welcoming environment. Will definitely be visiting and doing more business in the future.
Autumn was wonderful! She was detailed, answered all my questions and friendly. The price was nice also. One of the best parts was, they delivered to the school in LaBelle!
My middle school daughter was having issues with her clarinet. Henry was so patient with us, very knowledgeable, made great recommendations, and helped get her clarinet working before we left the store! My daughter was so happy, and I’m so appreciative. Thank you!
They had what we were looking for and easy parking. I found the customer service average; clerks on duty seemed less than motivated to help.
I broke a clarinet and without a problem the next day Cadence Music picked it up and fixed it very fast about 4 days and while it was being fixed I got a loner…GREAT EXPERIENCE
I will say they have made an extrodianary effort to correct the issues we had. They have a fair rent to own program. The only reason I am rating 4 stars is because it did take some time. Overall make sure you are very clear what you want and what you will get
Be Very careful with this company. They charged me for a Rental on a snare drum that i never saw or even asked for. They said they delivered the drum to a Middle school for my son and the school knew nothing about a drum. Cadence then sent me to collections for $800.00, I found out about the drum from the collection company. FRAUD
I had my oboe fixed there about a month ago and when I got it back it was still broken and it cost $150 originally for them to do nothing to it, but on the bright side they polished the keys so then it made it look like they actually fixed my instrument
The owner is extremely rude and the employees are incompetent. I usually go to Mostly Music in North Fort Myers because the owner is nicer and knowledgeable about all instruments. he is not just out to make a quick buck by ripping off students. I am going to try First note in the Cape next because I heard, from a music teacher, they are less expensive and more honest than Cadence.

There is an employee that really knows her stuff & helped me out with everything I needed, her name is denise, great customer service‼️‼️
I bought a Uke. You can find anything you’re looking for and more. Good prices
Cool and helpful staff, real easy to talk too.
Told them what i was looking for helped me find it in my price range. Quick and helpful.
Always friendly and helpful staff.
If they don’t have it, you probably don’t need it!
It’s always got what I need in a pinch when other local places are out of stock. Some good guys in the audio department that know their stuff.
The guitars on the wall are in serious need of repair! Missing strings, not even set up to play. No one is going to buy a guitar they can’t play…. when brought up to staff, it was stated that they were understaffed and unable to fix any at that time.
Was here with my husband on a Sunday. Waited in line forever. That was fine. The couple in front of us decided to leave the keyboard department and go wait in the line up front. Meanwhile another boy got in line behind us. We finally got checked out and were about to leave when the couple that was in front of us earlier decide to come back and cut in front of the kid behind us and begin yelling at him that they were in front of him before they decided to leave. I was livid at this point. You don’t get to leave the line and then come back later and cut off whoever you want. Shame on the employee that allowed this to happen. Very crappy customer service. The couple is just lucky I’m not the person they cut off.
It takes forever to check out. They make you wear a mask, but not wash your hands. You are there to test/play an instrument…. with your hands. How embarrassing stupid that is… It is a pleasure to spend my money at other online retailers and not at your store.

Love this establishment. Extremely professional and taught me to play guitar to a level that allowed me to be able to perform. I appreciate the teaching style and the guitar store they have. Would recommend to anyone at any skill level
For Guitar lessons , Bo is the best.
The owner and staff are all professionals. Everyone of them is helpful and very encouraging. I highly recommend Mr. Music to anyone looking to improve their life with music.
Nice Place but very pricey… A lot of things you can get on Amazon for way cheaper.
Plenty of parking , decent customer service, good selections of instruments , prices not that good, sales rep tried to push sales instead of suggestions.
Came to Ft Myers for an 8 day vacation – My brother has lived in Lee County for 30+ yrs & I have a winter home in Cape Coral. I Researched online for a local music store that would rent an acoustic guitar. (( I just started learning to play the guitar a year ago at age 58 and I thought it’d be nice to do some practicing while in Fla.)) All indications were that Mr Music was the place to go. My brother was going to rent it as web site states they only rent to Lee County residents. They (Mr Music) seemed unprepared for someone coming in off the street wanting to rent an acoustic guitar. The young man that was on duty at the store was Very Nice and I felt bad for him after he got on the phone with someone who told him that I would have to come back several hours later that afternoon (I had plans and late afternoon traffic in Lee County is crazy ) or I could come back 2 days later. I could tell he was embarrassed and as said earlier I felt bad for him. Needless to say, I left w\out a rental guitar. Wm. Griffin \ Lexington Ky.
Made a HUGE mistake purchasing a digital piano from Mr Music, Inc – Fort Myers. I wanted to support a small local business and I did something I don’t usually do and purchased it without looking the product up online. I figured I would be paying a little more by not buying from a big box store but turns out I paid over DOUBLE!! And the owner is very firm on the no return policy. Do NOT make the same mistake I did. I take responsibility for my lack of research but am disappointed that this small business is ripping people off so bad.
Carl says he’s “reactionary” teacher (no lesson plans). Be prepared to tell the teacher what you need to learn??? 6 lessons and what I learned is how good Carl can play guitar and that it’s a really difficult instrument to learn. What a POS! Dave (the owner) is okay.
Can’t give zero stars. If you feel like you need to form your own opinion that’s fine. But I can promise you that I never write bad reviews. Take it or leave it.

We purchased our Baby Grand from J&K in 2006. We traded in an old upright towards it. They were kind & fair. Fast forward 11 years… I was relocating to Arizona & the piano would not fit in the truck. Jay may not have known it when I called him to ask for piano mover referrals, but I was holding back tears. My three Sons played on that piano for years & I couldn’t imagine leaving it behind. Everytime I looked at it I saw them & the most incredible memories came rushing in. Long story short, Jay offered a consigning option but when I finally found a reasonable quote, Jay provided peace of mind by assuring me they were reputable company. Jay took time to listen & guide (he had to access his DOS computer), to locate our purchase record! He went out of his way to help me, service that is missing today in most industries but that drives loyalty. If you need a piano, please go to J & K Piano, you will not be disappointed and 11 years later they will remember you!
I am an Interior Designer and have a client who is taking possession of a baby grand piano. We were concerned about the amount of echo in the space. I originally called another piano store to ask my questions. They were not helpful and came across as too busy for me. So, I called Jay & Kay’s and spoke to Jay. He spent several minutes with me on the phone answering my questions and was very helpful. Thanks Jay!!! I will recommend you to any client who needs your services.
Wonderful, helpful people. They know their products and are willing to work with their customers. They helped our church obtain a much needed piano and worked with us to everyone’s satisfaction. If I could give them 10 starts, I would!!!
Shopping at Jay and Kay’s is always a pleasure.
Great people very helpful highly recommended
Friendly and knowledgeable … good experience!
I’m new to the area being only 4 years in Cape Coral. While our 1st home we built didn’t have room for a Piano. I made sure that our 2nd home we are building now does. With all the shortages of product inventory I decided to buy a Piano now. Being a former business owner I try to buy everything from local companies. I called Jay & Kay by phone I explained exactly what I’ve told you above. I said to Jay I’m picking up a sandwich from Parkway subs and illl be there in 20 minutes. Upon my arrival I entered the store. No greetings. I walked around for about 25 minutes. No one ever approached us. I took a card off their desk and wrote a note. Left my phone number. No one has ever called me.back. That was on 07/26/2021. Not sure why Jay invited us to his showroom with detailed instructions of their location. Waste of time. I drove down to Piano Distributors and then to Nicks Pianos. I was greeted very well by Anthony and Nick at each location. Then I drive to Dave’s Piano’s Tamps area again another professional very knowledgeable as well. I compared the 3. I made my selection and place a deposit on the 60k piano
Don’t bother going to Jay & Kay they don’t need to waste your time
Sadly to say I wanted to buy in my local neighborhood. Support the local businesses after the Covid 19 destruction.
I personally left their business card on the counter and had wrote a note on the back asking them to call me with my phone number on it. Crickets !!!
I take lessons here. The people are amazing, it’s a very welcoming environment.
Feeeels goood
Small, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Owner is very helpful. Nice selection and reasonably priced of instruments.
Decades old institution in SWFL. Quality teaching for various musical paths and a modest store with competitive pricing. Fun laid back cafe with live music rounds out the experience of this gem in cape coral!
At first I thought it was a decent little store. It does not have much of a selection, but it had guitar strings, which is what I needed at the time… then I tried talking to the sales person. He wasn’t much help, and seemed like he had better things to do.
It got worse when I was talking with the owner. I was trying to make small talk with him, but he was a bit standoffish. He Became rude when I was telling him that it was an interesting little place, but I’d come back I like it. After that he acted like I should just buy the strings and get out… which is what I did.
After that experience I have decided that I will not be buying anything from them.
Sad to say one of the worst experiences as a consumer I’ve ever had. I’m a 47 year old new drummer (less than a year) who bought a Simmons electronic kit from a private sale. My ride cymbal stopped working and I went here for help with troubleshooting the problem, remember I’m new! The employee that initially helped me was AWESOME! I explained the problem, he offered a possible solution that I hadn’t thought of, and even pulled up Simmons site to offer more help. The owner very impatiently and abruptly interuppted, told his employee “he can wait”, as the owner motioned my direction, and instructed him to handle a phone call!!! Since when do you interrupt a customer in your store, standing right in front of you, who may end up purchasing something to handle a phone call!?!?!?!?!? The owner very impatiently and disinterested listened to my story, looked at his computer, ran the cursor over the “800 number ” for Simmons and said ” I don’t carry or service Simmons products, you’ll have to call customer support”. I was half way out the door as he was saying this!!! Kudos to the employee for attempting to help a new musician!!! But PATHETIC service from the owner. So what they don’t carry simmons?! Maybe someday I’ll be ready to upgrade to a fancy electronic or acoustic kit and need a good store. NOT THIS PLACE EVER!!! I LOVE to support local business instead of big box stores, but Educators will never get a dime from me.
I couldn’t believe the horrific experience my family had at this place would not recommend. Terrible management and employees. One of employees called my mom a racial slur and everyone just laughed when she asked for a manager. They also made fun of her vehicle to her face . All of this unprovoked, It’s sad what kind of people still can run a business. If you are a p.o.c don’t step foot here .

Great collection! Awesome hole in the wall spot for some rare finds and the owner is knowledgeable about his goods. Will definitely return.
Cool place with a great selection and very reasonable prices.
Bought most of my comic from here
Huge selection. Not enough space for everything. The people were very nice! It’s hard to find good customer service now-a-days.
When I was there, records did have a price. Has tons of records. Lots of rare ones. I got a nice deal on one. Only big complaint: the owner has a Trump/Pence bumper sticker.
Great place, huge selection for a smaller place. Guys were cool and friendly
The owner is a liar and a cheat
As a vinyl collector for nearly 50 years I’m always on the hunt every time I travel for stores. Out of a half dozen or so in the Ft. Meyers area I decided on this one. Lots of interesting pieces here. Lots of things I would have been interested in buying, but quite a few were well above market prices. Probably explains why a lot of it was still there. The place is so packed it’s actually damaging some of the sleeves. It is a great dig. When you dig you stand a fair chance of coming up with some in market range. I did walk out with 5 that were definitely unique and within market prices. The ridiculously uncomfortable conditions make it difficult to spend more than 30 minutes in there. I occasionally will spend upwards of 4 hrs or more on a good dig. Couldn’t do that here Finally, he uses price stickers attached directly to the sleeves. Not the easy to remove ones either. Cheap ones that damage even the best coated sleeves. This is a showstopper especially at some of these prices. If you want me to pay top dollar I want an absolutely pristine product. Not something that the art has been married by dime store price stickers. It would be worth going back but there are a lot of other places to explore.
I went there to buy some key issues and the owner and his son told me they keep all the good books for them self and only sell people their low grade books. I then asked if they could help direct me in the right direction after telling them the types of books I was looking for and the owner says you don’t even know what you want after me just telling him exactly what I was looking for. 100% do not recommend unless you are just looking for low grade low quality books. Any books of any decent grade or value they will not sell to you and they cherry pick all the best books for them self. Don’t get me wrong I understand a comic store taking good books for them self. However they should at least leave a few decent books for their customers to have a good experience when coming coming in. Don’t go there unless you want a book valued at under $200 and at that it will be overpriced in terrible condition. Also owner told me numerous times high quality books are expensive and that I probably couldn’t afford them. Worst experience ever!
Camilo is easy to work with and very professional. He adapts to how you work and focuses on giving you quality sound. I’ve done 4 projects with with and all of them can easily be on radio
Dope home studio, full recommended
Dope studio great sound and engineer

The two guys that are always working are great to there customers the owners are not unless they no you on a personal bases
Very professional. Staff answered questions to the best of their ability appreciate the kind and friendly environment
Helpful, honest and always a great place to buy!
I go in often to purchase. You have to hunt for the best prices. Many times I don’t understand how they price things. Sometimes almost retail without a warranty.
Very friendly staff…fair deals…what more do u want, it’s a pawn shop after all! They do have some gorgeous jewelry though (nice suprise)
Use this pawn shop allot they two young guys that work there are awesome always there to help me with what ever I need. The owners wife is nice but fake nice and the owner looks at you like your trash. I don’t care for them at all I’d rather deal with the two guys they always have been good to me
Bought an amp. 3 wks and 6 days later to the date of purchase it just stopped working. First guy spoke to had a complete attitude. Ask to speak to the manager and this guy gets on the phone and wanted to know what I wanted from him and I told him I wanted a piece of equipment that worked properly for more than a month after purchase granted that amp was only $150 but still doesn’t make good on a normal purchase from any pawn shop I’ve ever bought from. First and last time I will ever be at this pawn shop even though they own a lot of pawn shops in the Lee County area or shall I say Fort Myers area I think it’s very unprofessional they’re rude and once you buy an item oh well…that’s their motto!!
Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone yes people are nice but the guy in charge had a clearance table that’s obviously been there for a long time in almost worthless stuff and it wouldn’t sell me four dollars worth of Screwdriver bits because he was afraid of losing a dime on a debit card transaction, so I assume he’s going to hold onto it for another two years
They have THEE most annoying local holiday TV commercial in the history of annoying local holiday TV commercials. For that reason alone I will never set foot in one.

This is a lovely thrift store with great prices and lots of items for purchase. Customer service is top notch as well. Stop by and see what treasure you’ll find!
Great prices and always a warm welcome and smile
This store is amazing!! They have everything I need and more!!! I will most definitely make time to come to this store again!! It is truly one of kind!!!
They sell broken appliances. They do not offer a return of refund. I would avoid at all costs, unless you enjoy spending money for nothing. TRASH!!
