Mark and his Team were terrific and very professional. He’s my go to piano aficionado. He’s done quite a bit of work for us over at First Baptist Church Pompano Beach and we love doing business with him.
I’ve used Piano Showcase 3 times to do a local move for my Yamaha (G2) baby grand. Always show up on time or before, very professional, respectful and take special care when moving my piano. They are pretty quick in taking it apart and putting it back together, always asking where I want it, are you sure? Then giving it a good polish afterwards. Even though it was extremely hot today, the movers were in good spirits as usual and I could tell are very passionate about their job. Thanks again, Mark.
The customer service was nice and the owner Mark was very nice also. He delivered my piano straight away, and the day that I wanted it he was not late at all. He delivered it very carefully and helped move the furniture. He sold me the perfect piano that fit me right and it was the right price. I am so happy that I got it, and please give him a five star review, because he is the perfect man to buy a piano from!! By the way this is from an 8 year old so I know what’s going on!!
A variety of pianos both new and used, all the way up to a $100,000+ Schimmel; everyone was very helpful.
Though it may sound out of place, strategically placed chairs and a television kept my young son busy and let my friend relax while I was “in another world” looking at the pianos.
Edit: I was attempting to delete the original review after owner did call to apologize for his attitude and the fact that he’s having a bad day. However google doesn’t let you. He also did attempt to give 2 numbers to possibly assist on a repair. So I am adjusting my review to 4 stars
In regards to owner response below, being that your in a small business and that your search page reports repairs. It shouldn’t matter where a person made their purchase .
If you possibly change your mindset you could possibly have more business from such calls.
I had an upright I needed to store for a short while and chose PS after a brief internet search. Long story short I didn’t want to setup an auto pay with my debit card and unfortunately ended up missing a payment due to hurricane Irma soaking up my resources. Essentially I forgot I hadn’t paid and only realized I missed it when I received a statement at the end of the month reflecting a $125 late fee charged at $5/day. More than my monthly rate for storage. Granted I was late and forgot, I found that to be excessive. It should have a cap on it rather than charging indefinitely. I asked for a break on the charge and was flat out denied. Needless to say I paid up and got my piano out of there as soon as possible. Most I can say is make sure you understand their policy before doing business with them. Upon making arrangements to move the piano out at the beginning of the current month they had the nerve to tell me I wasn’t going to be charged for said month. What does that tell you?
Mark is a cunning and deceptive man. Sold me a defective digital keyboard under false pretense. I would save the trouble and find business elsewhere.

Horrible experience, this is the worst piano shop in the area. Racist comments from rude salespeople, who think the customer is beneath them! Even more horrible attitude if they see you are an immigrant, who speaks with an accent. A complaint needs to be filed to BBB, and it will, eventually.

Came in looking for guitar picks. They had a great selection with bins where you could get brand name guitar picks from 25-75 cents a piece. They also had packs of multiples available for just a few dollars. Very big assortment of instruments and accessories. Will be returning if I need to pick up something else guitar related.
Honestly this place is pretty great. Prices are competitive and you can get anything musical here. Staff is super friendly. They even have a set of retro fishbowl shaped drums upstsirs.
Good for sales, lousy for service. I brought a mixer to be repaired there. It had a couple of bad switches and dirty pots. After weeks of waiting, they gave it back to me with no improvement. They told me that they cleaned the switches and pots. My interpretation is that they tried to spray some contact cleaner into it. Unfortunately, the pots are sealed and the switches needed to be replaced. They charged me a pretty penny too.
They send out the repairs to an outside person (who lost accessories I sent in with it) and had a hard time getting in touch with the guy when I asked for an update.
It’s a shame because I like the people there and shopping there, but I will never bring anything to repair there again.

Went to go buy an SM58 grill for my microphone and Jerry said it was 20.00 so I bought it when in fact it was 8.99 poor service and ol’ Jerry in the audio dept is a scam artist! I will never go back and I warn all of you to do the same! Stay away!

The best school in the Fort Lauderdale area. I was having a very hard time finding a music teacher to come and give lessons to my children for both piano and guitar. No one would come out to my home that could teach both piano and guitar. Elite Music Instruction had one teacher that teaches both Piano and Guitar so it made this whole thing even easier. I recommend Elite Music to all my fiends and to you too.

A quality experience with violin lessons.
I have been trying to call to get information about/set up guitar lessons for my son. No one ever answers the phone, and the voice-mail box is full.
Absolutely horrible, I’m disgusted by the way both my mother, and I were treated. The owner (or so she claimed to be) is such a hateful, impatient, and unpleasant lady. If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m glad I discovered this before I gave her my money, and wasted my time.
I decided to learn to play the piano again, and felt this would be a great place to do so considering that I live 5 minutes away from this store. I made an appointment, that I was unable keep due to the fact that my mother’s dentist appointment kept her later than expected. My car is in the shop, so I had to rely on my mother for the ride. Things happen, it’s life, I missed my appointment. I call the store at the time of my appointment to apologize and reschedule.
WELL, that did not go as planned. I call two times, a mean lady answers by screaming “HELLO” and then suddenly hangs up. She did this two times before I got upset. The third time I called, she answers “HELLO” so I tell her “Please tell me that we have bad reception and that you did not hang up on me.” She responds “EXCUSE ME?” She was trying to intimidate me, which did not work at all. I repeat what I said and she goes on to tell me MY connection was bad and that nothing is her fault. At this point, I realized, she knew I was the one who missed my appointment and this is why she was treating me bad. So I explain to her my situation, I even apologized and told her how my mother didn’t make it back in time to take me.
She assumed I was a child because I said “My mother didn’t take me”. I’m 21 years old, yes young, but old enough to understand mistreatment and stick up for myself.
Whether I was 14 or 42 you do not treat people like this.
My mother went in there after her dentist appt which is right next door to explain to the lady what happened and to reschedule, and my mother said she was rude and short tempered with her as well.
My mother is a very soft spoken, sensitive, christian woman, so I get very upset when anyone that takes advantage of her kindness. I cancelled the appointment for my Piano lessons and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. She ruined my great mood, and now I am looking elsewhere for lessons. She almost discouraged me from continuing to play, but i had to tell myself not every place is going to be like this.
AND FYI IF YOU’RE NOT A PEOPLE PERSON, AND DON’T KNOW HOW TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE… DO NOT OWN A BUSINESS! Simple as that!

AAAAA+++++ The Best Choice for guitar adjustments and repairs in Fort Lauderdale. I’ve vacationed in the area for many years and have visited just about every musically oriented spot. I am very impressed with Mitch’s work. He runs the ship and has skill and years of practical experience. He identified the issues on my electric guitar within 30 seconds when it was UNPLUGGED. You can’t really hear the natural sounds a guitar makes when it is processed through a circuit board. Within a few hours he had solved the fret problems without having to raise the action. Now the wide bends I like to do are possible without fretting out and the intonation is spot on at the string height I’m used to.
Mitch actually knows how to play guitar, so he understands playability from a rhythm AND lead guitarist’s perspective. He gets it. That’s really important to me because I have to do both. I wanted my $300 guitar to play as well as my $3,000 guitar and now it finally does.
I highly recommend Mitch for whipping your guitar into professional playing shape.
His shop is very cool and has an eclectic mix of instruments, accessories and gear as well. Check it out.
Unique place worth visiting. Lots of guitar from second hand
DO NOT recommend! Guitar was shipped with no protection in two boxes that had been cut to fit and taped together, only one small piece of styrofoam in the bottom. The guitar arrived broken and is unable to be repaired. Request for a return and refund refused.
Horrible service. This guy will promise you the world and deliver nothing. His work is extremely poor. His turnaround time is even worse. This is one irresponsible business owner/operator. Take your business elsewhere. Don’t trust your hard earned money with this guy.
I am dumbfounded anyone can be giving this place more than one star. Complete hack. Brought a guitar in for a routine procedure, was most sloppy, amaturish job I could ever imagine. If you value your instrument at all, avoid this place at all costs. This is not a place for serious musicians or collectors. Is a tourist hole at very best. Beware.
