I have attended many social Fusion dancing events that Josh was hired to perform at in and around the San Francisco Bay Area as well as in Seattle, Portland, Philadelphia, Denver, and Vancouver. At these events, Josh performed his own original electronic music for huge crowds of dancers. He is a very talented musician, and has great stage presence. I love his original songs!!
I have also listened to him play great covers on the piano as he leads a group thru some late night karaoke sing-alongs 🙂
Recently I contracted him to help me record and produce a song of my own, and he really guided me every step of the way.
Josh is also a music teacher offering piano, drum, guitar and ukelele lessons out of his home studio.
I couldn’t recommend him more as both a performer and a teacher!!
Josh did a few of my friends weddings now and I will always recommend him in the future. Not only is he an outstanding DJ but he played the piano while my best friend walked down the aisle. He also does all of the announcements and makes everybody feel comfortable to dance. I am now taking ukulele lessons from Josh and was able to play after the first day. I’m not a pro but I learned four chords and that’s most songs LOL. He is great with kids as well.

I took lessons from Niels for a few years. I can’t say more about his knowledge and care for me as a student. Niels has a gift playing and teaching that translates to a relaxed and completely motivating learning environment.

An absolute hidden gem of guitars. Incredible selection, good service and really nice people. Worth making a special trip to check out!
Eric and James provide a treasured store and service to the Bay Area and well beyond. I have received expert advice on my guitars, had two expertly repaired and recently purchased another. Schoenberg Guitars is a trusted and extremely knowledgable source for all things acoustic – guitars, mandolins, even ukuleles. James is great to work with.

The person behind the counter went out of their way to help me out.
Jon Pederson, terrific luthier.
John the best.
Superb spot for the hard to find string instrument or the impossible to find.
Great local music store. Got my first guitar from their old store when I was 13. Comfortable layout and helpful service. Ask John to fix your violin or if you’re looking to take up Uke/banjo.

Great store! Very friendly staff, Dan and I talked shop for a little and he told me all about the guitar history that surrounds the area. Definitely stop in!
Great service and very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Have bought guitars, amps, and pedals all from these guys and they always treat you great. Fantastic place!
Great Customer Service as usual!
Very friendly staff and helpful. They also matched a lower price. The only negative issue was that we were ordering something that wasn’t in stock. So we paid for the item up front and then I later found out they didn’t actually order the product until two weeks later. It was a full month before we received it instead of a couple weeks.
Its cool, but not tasty. Limited selections but great staff. I gone there numerous times and walk away disappointed. But there was a time when I found an old Strat, bought it and went home and stared at it for 2 minutes, it was a great find. Keep looking it may be there.
What a great music store. For the professional musician.
This store sells loud rock gear but if you try out the gear loudly they keep telling you to turn it down. If you’re like me you prefer to hear it before you buy it. Probably better just to go to Guitar Center.
I was in the new store today for the first time. I was disappointed in the selection of guitars. They don’t carry Gibson , Rickenbacker or Epiphone. The salesmen told me that Gibson’s quality has come way down ( I didn’t really believe that). I thought the selection of amps an other gear were very limited also.
You can’t really browse there. It’s like going to a car dealership. Sale, sale, sale $$$ !! A little finesse wouldn’t hurt you. Magic Flute in San Rafael, way better choice.
