It has been an absolute joy going through MusiciansBuy for my purchase! I received my Concert Ukulele kit in record time, no shipping charges due to the dollar amount I spent, which was really great! What followed next though, is what really made me want to write this review…I got my kit, opened it up and started unpacking it, and after about an hour I got around to looking at the Gig bag that came with it. I had accidentally received a bag that was for a Soprano Uke and not a Concert Uke, I emailed them back (after hours) letting them know this, and that I would be happy to return the smaller bag for one the correct size, and I’d also be happy to pay the difference. The next morning I already had an email waiting for me from Chad, and he was telling me to KEEP the Soprano bag, and that he was going to be sending me out the correct sized bag later that day FOR FREE!! Sure enough, later that same day I received the email with my tracking info in it, and it is on its way to me, just as Chad promised it would be! Even though I may not be ready for another instrument real soon (gotta learn this one first), I promise anyone reading this, that when I am ready to start shopping for another, I am going directly back to MusiciansBuy’s website, and I will also be referring them to all of my friends and family that ask!! This company exemplifies what QUALITY customer service is all about! Thank you!!
I have never wrote review on the store, but this time I want to express my sincere gratitude to employees of MusiciansBuy and especially Quinn Whiteside who was my sales person and help me to get my dream machine Ketron Audya-8. My experience with the store was awesome. I dealt with the store over the phone (store is in Florida and I am in CA) and they help me every step in the way. First of all I could not get this instrument anywhere else and MusicianBuy got it for me, quickly helped me to resolve charge issue to make sure it is applied to my credit card only when instrument was shipped from the store to me (not when it was shipped from Italy). And couple words about instrument – this is unbelievably super sophisticated gear which is truly an instrument of 21st century. Thank you MusicianBuy for helping me to get this awesome instrument I enjoy every minute when use it. There are a lot to learn how to use it, but whatever I can use it for now is still fantastic.
A Big thank you Chad! I’m loving my Yamaha piano studio and doing well with it. I appreciate your continued contact and do not need anything right now but you will be the first call I make when I do. Your products are great but your customer service has been exceptional and that makes you top on my list!
Thanks again,

I went to Jupiter Music Store for the first time to buy new strings for my acoustic guitar. I was met by Alex who offered to restring it for me as I’m a beginner who has never done it before. He was super friendly and efficient and showed me all of the tips to do it myself in the future. I can’t say enough good things about Alex, he was awesome! I would highly recommend Jupiter Music Store and Alex to help you with your needs.
Super helpful staff! They fixed my daughters guitar for free…We were very impressed by the way they treat customers.
I needed a special case on short notice, and the manufacturer had an unforseen delay on delivery. Steve was able to find something comparable from the local inventory that suited my needs.
Walked in and checked out the merchandise without being greeted by any of the staff… small showroom with new and used low end to mid range entry level instruments.
Because its name is Jupiter
And I liked this name
The man working in the store was friendly and helpfull.
Spent a large sum of money in this store for my daughters Christmas gift and also set up lessons. 1st lesson was set with Adam, daughter was so excited to start. I was called 2 hours before her lesson cancelling the lesson because Adam has a “gig”. Extremely unprofessional. Had heard negative reviews about the store but went against what I had heard because they are close to our home. Shame on me for not listening. Overpaid for the guitar too. Not a good reputable store. Shop elsewhere. Get lessons elsewhere.
First of all the guy behind the counter would not get off the phone to assist me. Then he took my sheet music order for Jolene by Dolly Parton. Said he’d call but lost my phone number and now I have to wait another week for the sheet music. This is very poor service indeed
I have brought in 8 guitars for service over a 4 month period and they were only able to complete 2 .The first was a simple tuners swap.
No drilling. I supplied the parts.58$
The second was soldering 3 wires on a pick guard. Only 10$ but took 3 weeks and they “lost “ my 40 year old pick guard screws! The others were apparently beyond their ability to fix.One memorable reason for not being able to drill an 8mm tuner hole to 10mm;” I don’t have a drill bit, I guess I could order one “Fastest turnaround time is 3 weeks even if they do nothing.Your guitar will spend that time as mine did, on a dirty floor in a high traffic area. I prefer to use small local business over say, Guitar Center but, in this case?…..

Great service and friendly help. Highly recommend.
Quick turnaround on bass setup and quality tech.
Super nice people!
Love this place! If you’re in South Florida and feel the need to visit a real, actual musician-oriented guitar shop…look no further. Businesses like this are a real treasure and getting harder to find everyday.
The photos on the website were misleading. This place looked inviting. This shop looked like a place where musicians came to meet.
I wanted some info on the banjo. I’m looking for players, lessons, books, ..anything.
It seems that since I wasn’t in there to BUY an instrument, (…really..the same question 3 times?) I was asked to “sit tight” and wait to speak to someone.
After 20 minutes, I figured it out. No one was coming, so I left.
I always prefer the “little guy” to big corporate stores.
Wolfe Guitars has changed my mind.
I would not recommend Wolfe Guitars, here’s why:
I sent an email to Wolfe Guitars on July 09th, 2013 with a specific list of things that I wanted done to a new Strat to include a PLEK and asked for pricing in this email.
I stated that I was a good three hours away and wanted to schedule an appointment to bring the guitar in (I also planned to look at the Heritage Guitars while I was there waiting).
I received a response from Jay Wolfe on the 10th stating they could handle the work but they were short a PLEK tech and wanted to know what day worked best and wanted to know where I was located but Mr. Wolfe did not give the requested prices.
I responded to Mr. Wolfe’s email on the 10th (within 15 minutes) stating that before I commit, I needed prices for the things listed in my original email, I wanted to make sure I was dealing with an experienced PLEK tech and I advised him of my location and flexibility for the appointment.
As of the 12th I had not received a response so I sent a follow-up email and as of today, the 24th, Mr. Wolfe still has not responded nor has Mr. Graham Zebedee who was cc’d.
Sadly this place isn’t what it once was, it WAS a customer satisfaction driven company. In the past I bought three guitars off them and an amp. Recently my wife wanted her bass guitar rewired and I thought I would take it back to the Wolfe where I bought it and let them give it some love. We dropped the guitar off and told them what we wanted done, the young lady there said “It will be done by the end of the week” … That was six weeks ago!!! The guitar was “Finished” last week and when we went to pick it up it my wife tried it out, the volume know was stiff and didn’t want to turn and the tone knob really didn’t work, even though the young man helping us swore up and down he could hear the difference (Minimal difference at best), he even turned the amp up louder so we could hear it wasn’t working even louder…. Lmao!!! Quick side note, the guitar has all chrome hardware on it, the tech put a black switch in.. Real classy. So we left them with the guitar and came back the following week. Yes it works correctly now. The young man was apologetic about us having to drive down from Stuart twice because of their mistake, I asked if he could show us how apologetic Wolfe guitar is on the bill… After conferring with someone we were informed basically the bill has been written up so the price is the price… That is the last money they will ever get from us!!!

Mr. Capitelli is one of the nicest men you’ll meet. He makes you feel comfortable so you can learn to perform your best. He’s very knowledgeable and offers decades of experience. He has helped me overcome 15 years of stage fright. When I moved across the state, I decided to keep up my lessons with Mr. Capitelli via FaceTime!
Capitelli’s is the perfect place to go if you need any kind of music lessons.. he is a genius musician .
This is a very nice store. The owner Fred is a great teacher who cares about his students. He is a very nice guy. I would recommend to come here to anyone looking too learn more about music. 5 stars.
Owner sucks! Needs work on customer service.

Great place to have a brunch and get some work done! I love their breakfast food and smoothies. The staff is nice and the food is great. Excited to see what the expansion brings.
Nice place
Our first time in this morning! The egg & cheese croissant was by far the best breakfast sandwich we’ve had. Their black peach tea & carwmel latte is on point too! Our toddler enjoyed the sweet staff & etch a sketch to play with. We will be back 🙂

Way better than Starbucks
Holy smokes does this place hop. It is located in a quaint part of Tequesta. I went there on a Saturday morning around 10:30am and placed an order to go. The place was jammin’ with people, mainly millennials, and the tables outside were filled. I waited for my sandwiches. They were good yet expensive – over $10.00 for a breakfast sandwich and a very small cup of fruit. The vibe deserves a 5+. The food was a bit above average. Be aware of the parking in their small shopping strip. You may have to park multiple stores down and walk a tad.
Wonderful outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Great healthy tasty food.
They need better service. Good selection of food, cold atmosphere.
The place looked beautiful, sadly the coffee tasted horrible. Do not recommend.
Staff is rude.
Perk is the close to my home. I figured we would be frequent customers there because we love our local coffee shops.
They had no decaf and refused to make any. I was overcharged for something similar.
They had no kombucha in the flavor I wanted and told me I had to pay 3.00 more for the one available. I said ” 3.00 more because you are out of it?”, the woman at the register looked at me, like she was irritated at my very existence, and said ” well, you don’t have to get it if you don’t want it.”
I wanted it. I was willing to pay 2x as much as publix for it, but not 3x as much after you were rude to me because you were out of everything I ordered.
The right way to handle the situation would have been to offer your customer to wait for decaf coffee to be made ( which I would have waited, but it was never even offered) or give them the alternative at the same price. Also to give the customer the kombucha you had at the price of what they wanted to purchase.
For a small business you really should be more accommodating to your customers.
It’s not my fault you had nothing I wanted.
It’s not about the money at all, but I won’t pay 12.00 for 2 hot chocolates and a decaf coffee that tastes like water again only to be treated like I’m an annoyance to your business.
I should have left, but my kids wanted hot chocolate.
We won’t be back. Disappointed. Truly disappointed.

Lisa is a great teacher. She has guided my learning very effectively and helped me progress faster than I thought I would. I highly recommend her.
Excellent instructor!
She is amazing…. She is a perfectionist and very dynamic. Since taking Lisa’s class my grandson has improved and is much more motivated. He loves going to his piano lessons every week …
Thank’s Lisa!
13. Piano Distributors
Address: 240 W Indiantown Rd Suite 104, Jupiter, FL 33458 , Tequesta , Florida , United States
Inviting and comfortable store. Steve was nice and helpful, but also gave me lots of space and time to go and sit down and play and sample the full range of what was out the floor.
The pianos I played were also generally well tuned and in good playing order from what I could tell as piano novice (musician in the past, but upright bass).
Nice selection of various Yamaha and Bosendorfers on the floor during my visit.
Jupiter is a little far from me, but it’s so worth it when buying a piano. I had no knowledge on pianos, nor how or play piano. I just wanted to learn for fun, since I alway love the the piano music. I am very glad I met Steve, he helped me picking out the right piano for me which I love it very much! He reached out to me after the purchase to teach me how to take care of it. He even suggested me on how to start learning without any experience. So far, I am working on it and really enjoy the time with my piano. If you are in the same situation as me, go to the store. Steve is the right person for you!
Very nice people. Great service. Delivery people treated the piano like it was a real baby. They did extra things for me.
14. West Marine
Address: 285 US-1, Tequesta, FL 33469 , Tequesta , Florida , United States
Big thanks to West Marine Employee Faith for the great advice on what paddle board to purchase! Great job.
Very helpful and pleasant staff.
Always a pleasure to shop here. I don’t care about price. I care about friendly workers and great customer service which I always get.
I called to verify they had the anchor chain I was looking for, I went there and surprise it wasnt. I love my Westmarine and the people but please, its basic inventory management to check quick.
Knowledgeable staff
Great selection!
This is the worst west marine store in all florida. They never keep a good inventory.
If you drive to stuart, jensen beach, or palm beach you will find the product you are looking for.
Don’t waste your time coming here.
Un going problem for at least the last 5 years.
Nice people but probably the wrong manager.
They had a sale and we bought a 15 inch round grill that was $50 off the price. Went home and did some searching online found the same exact brand grill for $100 less than their sale price!! Definitely price check when you shop here!
Unbearable to shop here anymore. Company’s AC has been broken for over a month now. I have to buy a shirt every time I leave because I’m usually drenched in sweat. “Customer satisfaction” has really gone down hill.
15. Lighthouse ArtCenter 3D Studio
Address: 395 Seabrook Rd, Tequesta, FL 33469 , Tequesta , Florida , United States
They have a fantastic array of classes for adults and kids!! And the people there are SO friendly, down to earth, wonderful, sweet. Lovely community of local artists and creative souls. They also have a separate gallery across the street, and events and shows. I love this place!!
This place is the best kept secret in the Jupiter Tequesta area and I Just found out about the Art Center and I’m looking forward to taking my Girlfriend there and signing up for some worshops… Sue is Awesome and a real Asset to the Center…
The Lighthouse Art School is a fabulous place to learn all art mediums. The personnel are caring and service oriented. The instructors are excellent at their craft and are well able to convey their expertise and enthusiasm to the students. All ages and abilities are served. Never evers are welcomed as well as are accomplished artists, who always seem willing to share their expertise and opinions with those new to artistic endeavors. The environment is pleasant and casual. A most enjoyable and rewarding experience. I highly recommend this wonderful center for learning many aspects of art.
16. Jupiter Pointe Club and Marina
Address: 18753 SE Federal Hwy, Tequesta, FL 33469 , Tequesta , Florida , United States
We just become member of the boat club. Everything went good friendly people and we got our first initiation. Looking forward to enjoy boating in this club.
Very busy weekend for them. They are doing a great job though. Patience required.
Super agradable
Great place
Nice view and atmosphere.
This review is for the Boat Club. Not the restaurant next door which is a completely separate business and I wish people would realize that. That is Blue pointe grille.
The boat club is in major disrepair. In dire need of management. The kids that all run this place could care less. The last 3 boats we have taken out have had steering issues and were NOT clean when we took them out.
The other big thing here and ive discussed it with others is the gas scam. We have taken out boats and not gone further than the sandbar for a few hours and our gas bill is $60. That’s insane!!!! None of the fuel tanks work on their boats and none are accurate. NONE of them.
Been on about 12 different boats so far. Wasn’t impressed with the maintenance on any of them.
You have been warned. We won’t be renewing our membership.
Don’t really care if you come or not………..
Tried to visit on our boat. Thought it could be fun. Windy day. No cleats on the intercoastal side. Couldn’t tie on to tiny dock north side. Too rough. So went into south dock area. Not a single boat tied on. Room for like 20. But club members only. Pulled up, asked if we could tie up for 1/2 hr – 45 mins and have a drink and snack because too rough to tie up in public area. NO WAY!! Those are the rules!!!! Bye Bye. Won’t be back. Been there drive up two times. Food quality really spotty.
A lot of the shells were out of stock and certain items the store was not clean
17. Bagel Bistro Tequesta
Address: 173 US-1, Tequesta, FL 33469 , Tequesta , Florida , United States
What a great little spot for a quick bite OR a long casual breakfast meet-up with friends. A lot of bagle shops have a get it and go type of vibe. Not here. Their seating arrangement makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. I had the sausage egg and cheese on a jalapeño bagel. It was pretty fantastic. They have about 6 or so varieties of coffee hot and ready for you. I can’t vouch for all of them but the Jamaican blend is on point. The staff was super friendly and my sandwich came out much faster than expected. 5 stars all day.
Coffee great. Bagels great. Wraps great. Crepes great. Sandwitches great. Salads great. Its all great!
Yay ..real bagels and lox ! Heaven…
Good place for a quick breakfast, lunch…good bagels and coffee..
Excelente desayuno!!
Great local Tequesta bagel shop with plenty of breakfast options. Bagel Bistro serves some of the fluffiest bagels I’ve ever eaten.
They even offer all you can eat pancakes!
Sadly consistency in the kitchen seems to be an ongoing problem. Last time I was there my eggs were rubbery and covered with some sort of oily film. The quality of the bagel and cream cheese isn’t the same either. When the owner cooks things are better but……we arent talkimg gourmet here just eggs and bacon
Too bad because wait staff works hard and goes above and beyond. Customer service isnt the problem…..quality control is. C’mon…..no reason to drive 20 minutes for less than mediocore scrambled eggs.
My last visit….best of luck.
Cinnamon raisin was the worst I’ve had. Breakfast sandwich was incomplete. Took over 20mins.
Ordered a loaded box bagel sandwich. It had almost no fish and weirdly almost no cream cheese.
When I took it to the counter, I got a lot of bad attitude, like they were doing me a huge favor fixing it by giving me some cream cheese.
18. Pennies For Heaven Thrift Shop
Address: 400 Seabrook Rd, Tequesta, FL 33469 , Tequesta , Florida , United States
Really nice merchandise and displayed in a boutique fashion. Lovely clothes, home goods, etc Priced fair for pre-owned items. I always like going there to shop.
Love this store! Great finds!
Always fun to shop and look around. Have found so many great items and supporting an amazing cause.
Awful experience here today I never leave bad reviews but I felt I needed to with today’s experience. I have bought items from this shop multiple times in the past and after today I will never go back. Today I was judged solely based on my appearance being that I have visible tattoos and was wearing gym shorts and running shoes and was treated nasty by the older woman who works there. I was interested in purchasing 3 sets of furniture of which I went to go look for help to see if they could work a deal with me being that I would be spending close to $700 in total. One set was marked at $375, the other at $225 and the last item was $200 which I bought, I told her I was a dealer and asked if she could come down to $275 on the one set and $200 on the other set which was not anywhere close to an unreasonable offer and she took one good look at me and immediately said no we are firm on prices, assuming I was a man off the streets and not a serious buyer… I was fine with that, if she didn’t want to negotiate that was fine I was not upset about that whatsoever. As I proceeded to walk to the cash register with the 3rd piece which I did in fact buy for asking price, she then rung me up and prior to paying I told her that I had my Tax Exempt Certificate. I then asked “do you want me to email it to you or text it to you?” she then proceeds to tell me purposely trying to give me a hard time “I can’t accept that, I need a paper copy”. I have been in shops accross the country and never once has a person not accepted my tax exempt certificate through picture… I then proceeded to tell her exactly that and that I have bought stuff here in the past and I have never had an issue sending a copy of my certificate through picture so I knew she was just trying to give me a hard time.. on top of that when I asked if she wanted me ti email it to her or text it her she then responded “I am not comfortable giving you my personal contact information”, she could have just easily asked to email it to her as opposed to making a rude comment to me.. Unfortunately I was not wearing a suit and tie today being that I was loading my 15′ full of fresh inventory so maybe I didn’t look extremely professional but regardless that is no way to treat someone who is buying items from you! BUYERS BEWARE, she was completely rude, condescending, and judgemental of me, I will never ever ever go back to this shop ever again
Should be named Quantum House ‘Retail’. Do yourself a favor and google their items many are retail price and some way over retail. Good luck with your new retail business but you are excluding collectors, resellers and other potential buyers.
Unfortunately I too had a bad experience here. I will say I love the display of clothes and furniture. I found the prices and quantity to be very good. I especially like the daily bonus sales. Out of 6 pairs of shoes I bought, 2 were broken. To be fair, the older clerk reduced the pricing on the damaged shoes. Of the clothes I liked, a few were stained. These were to be sold as is without apology or discount. I was told if I didn’t want to buy the stained items, they would remove them from my purchase. I felt they shouldn’t be on the floor to begin with or at least discount the item as it will be the customers risk to try to remove the stain and the charity will benefit something from the sale. Were they putting them back on the floor to sell them? The amount of stained and broken items was significant. I caution anyone purchasing to look closely for defects! The volunteers working to get the items on the floor were lovely. I found the older blonde woman and younger black haired woman to be fairly rude and condescending. The younger one especially, putting down the volunteers as not knowing what they are doing as they are “just volunteers”.
