Mike, owner, is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Instruments, music sheets and lessons at affordable prices. Repairs also done in house. Drop in to day hi and take a look around.
Honest people work here and they do a good job repairing or maintaining gear. Inexpensive as well.
Great job setting up my DIY bass. Also leveled, crowned and polished the frets. At a great price.
excellent store, good Fender Selection, nice acoustics, lessons, and school instruments.
Ordered instrument for my son, was told to pick up the next day, went the following day to pick it up and it wasn’t there. Also bought a box of reefs for the instrument and was given the wrong kind. The gentleman that waited on us was polite, although he didn’t recognize us even though we had just been in the day before!
Staff is very friendly and knowledgable.

4. Adams Hometown Market
Address: 92 Main St, Thomaston, CT 06787 , Thomaston , Connecticut , United States
what an amazing store. Small yet absolutely loaded, well organized, stocked, incredibly friendly staff, AND THE PRODUCE..WOW!
Adams is a friendly, clean neighborhood grocery store. Prices are reasonable, and there are many sale items. You can shop quickly because it is all food and supplies without long aisles of lawn furniture, make-up, or clothing.
Good variety.
Decent selection and price for a grocery store in a town without a large chain market. Very good quality deli for cold cuts. The cold cuts are superior to most large chains.
Beware of expiration dates however. There are often times items for sale with expiration dates within the next few days. I have even come across bread on the shelf the has already grown moldy.
I would call it more of a convenience store than a supermarket. They often have specials with great prices, but regular prices are often higher than those of the bigger stores.
It’s convenient close to home deli is very good
Cashier was rude. Expensive
Limited variety of everything, high prices. Staff is nice.

5. Vito’s Barbershop, LLC
Address: 400 Watertown Rd, Thomaston, CT 06787 , Thomaston , Connecticut , United States
Vito and Steve are both great guys and great barbers. This place has a classic barbershop feel, a comfortable waiting couch and multiple televisions. Most of the time I come early afternoon and there’s not much wait time. Leave with a clean cut and a smile. Highly recommend.
Awsome folks
Best Barber Shop. They do a great job and it’s very down to earth and relaxing in there.
Great place, great prices, iffy on beard trims though
6. K&S Drums, LLC

Excellent bacon cheese burger. You MUST try their coated sweet potato fries.
Great Food, Great employees, Great atmosphere. I went there for my b-day today. Very friendly. Love it. Words can’t express how awesome it is.
We went to Crabby Als at least once a month there food prices increased so much its not worth it anymore. Their food presentation has changed now you get your food in a plastic basket and less food. I don,t know what happened but I won,t go back there.
You ruined a perfect dining experience
Good food, a little pricey
Good food, slow service, sit outside!
I am really sad to have to make such a terrible review for a place I have loved for so long. This is after 4 bad meals from Crabbys in a row. I’m not sure if they changed ownership or if they got a new cook who isn’t a real chef but the food is just horrible. After moving back to the area in June we ordered a cold lobster roll and stuffed shrimp. The shrimp had a weird stuffing and the cold roll was so over seasoned with old bay it was not edible. The next two times, the meals were mediocre but on Monday’s there really aren’t other restaurants open in the area so we kept going back. I ordered a hot lobster roll thinking they couldn’t screw it up but the lobster was rubbery and overcooked. Last night we ordered takeout from them and they said 20 minutes. There were 2 meals and a salad. It took them over an hour to give us our order. My husband waited there for over 40 minutes. The mashed potatoes were cold and lumpy and they forgot the veggies for my meal. I hate to say that we won’t be coming here as a last resort anymore but the food is just not worth it anymore.
Way overpriced, not worth it for the amount of money your shelling out. (Pun intended)
Unbelievably overpriced, 25 dollars for fish and chips that were soggy and bland, no thanks.
10. Railroad Museum of New England
Address: 242 E Main St, Thomaston, CT 06787 , Thomaston , Connecticut , United States
Excellent operating museum. A variety of special trains run. Children’s train for the holidays, twilight train with dinner stop, BBQ and whiskey train, and chocolate and wine trains to name some choices. Displays of equipment and artifacts at the Thomaston train station.
Santa train highly recommended
It is a nice ride.. I would recommend a fall rode.
Robbery with not a gun did Santa Claus was skinny it wasn’t very much thin to look at in the way there and back only two little spot with water and the rest of it was all wood nothing but trees hey was literally a waste of money
A little pricey for what was included in Santa train. Ad said there would be a sing along but there wasn’t one.
Very nice day trip and learning experience
Unkind and unhelpful staff. Short ride for the cost.
We took the Northern Lights train ride and were disappointed with the lack of covid protocols in place. They stated that masks must be worn or fines will be handed out, our entire car did not wear their mask and when we told the conductor he shrugged it off. This train is very tight then Santa and Mrs clause came onboard again with no masks on . Public transportation requires masks to be worn so not sure why this was not enforced. The lack of covid protocols made for a not so fun experience for our group. We will not be returning.
We called up to ask about the museum the person That answered the phone didn’t even work there and had no knowledge of anything involving the railroad museum. So we go over there the website says it’s open and it’s completely closed very disappointing

Awesome food and friendly staff! New to the area and definitely will be back!
Debbie one of the owners waited on us . She was very personable and treated my girlfriend’s son like he was one of her own .
Food was Amazing as well as reasonably priced . Our first time there certainly not our last . Pizza looked really good , gonna try it next visit
I thought the pizza was really good and I absolutely loved the garlic knots, probably one of the best garlic knots I’ve had. So crunchy yet so soft, it’s hard to do but it’s amazing. The service was great, waitress was super nice. I liked the inside, good amount of seating.
I like this restaurant, the staff are always pleasant and the good is usually good. I do dislike when what I order is completely ignored by the kitchen! To be honest this seems to happen in restaurants frequently. I ask for rare meat, it comes well-done, I ask for avocado on something, the waitress delivers fried onions, explaining “they are out of avocados” as if that excuses the fact I’m left with food I don’t want to eat! I guess I’m unusual as I expect servers to want their patrons to leave happy. I would prefer they give Me the choice, as I want to only spend money on something I want!
As always the food is fresh and fantastic = )
I live 1 1/2 mile from the restaurant. The large lobster pizza that I ordered came to us cold. The delivery guy had a insulated delivery bag. So our lobster pizza was very disappointing.
Food was not very good
Staff was very friendly.
However we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered pulled pork tacos and the meat was so dry with no flavor. We had to ask for BBQ sauce so there was some flavoring. The side was ridiculous. It was random veggies tossed together with a few pieces of lettuce. Very unappetizing. I had such high hopes for this place… I really wanted to like it. It was so close to home and would have been wonderfully convenient
We also ordered a pizza to bring home at the beginning when we placed our lunch order… A few bites into our lunch and we already regretted even going there. By the end of the meal we forgot about the pizza and our waitress came over saying it would be out soon… We actually asked if we could cancel the pizza because we were so disappointed with the rest of our order and the waitress told us no. So we brought the pizza home with us.
Now to be fair the pizza we ordered was something we thought we’d give a shot to. It was weird. Had lumps of potato on it with dried out shaved steak pieces. We we told the onion was cooked, however it tasted almost raw. I was just so disappointed all the way around.
The food was horrible. I had the Tater tots Shepard pie. With gravy that came out of a package. We have eaten there in the past and the food was great. Even the service was horrible. Not once did the waitress come over to see how our food was. She came over with the check and we had to ask for coffee. Extremely disappointing

Our 13 year old son has been taking private saxophone lessons at ” The Music Shop” for over 4 years, starting with Leo Liddle. Keith Wilson, a very talented musician took over as his teacher and we love his dedication and perseverance to help expand our son’s musical knowledge with the sax, while also making it fun. The expansion of his new location makes the updated atmosphere a wonderful learning environment, and also has great on site repair service.

Keith took great care of me! I’m a beginner guitar player and broke one of my strings, had no clue what to do. I purchased the strings there and he taught me how to put them on right in the store. He even tuned my guitar, and gave me some tips to keep it maintained. Service like that is RARELY found. TY Keith!!

We highly recommend Judah’s Camp! My son (6) takes private piano lessons and has been learning so much. Esteban is super patient with him, keeps him engaged and makes lessons fun. I am amazed at how far he has come in just a few months.
My son and daughter (4) also participate in the Intro to Music classes for homeschoolers. Last year, we did not incorporate music into our studies and were very fortunate to find this program. My kids look forward to music class every week. You will not be disappointed!
Love, love, love this studio. Esteban is such a great musician and engineer. I’ve been afraid to start my music career for so many reasons. Some reasons being that the music won’t turn out great… or just fear of not performing up to my abilities.. Esteban provided an environment that was welcoming and encouraging. He pushed and was kind all at the same time. He understood my vision and added value to it. I would recommend the studio to all artists and creatives.
Judahs canon is one, if not the best recoding studio and professional atmosphere I’ve ever been in, I recommend this spot to any and everyone, who’s serious about recoding music and learning how to master their craft all at the same time.
