Incredibly nice people, prompt service, small but decent selection, best music store I’ve been to in a while
Just made a phone call to them to see if they had something before I drove down there. John answered the phone, so pleasant !! He went out on the floor, found what I wanted and then asked if I want it held behind the counter..
Perfect Customer Service!!
Good opportunity
Clean store and the store associate very helpful
Does not have guitar nuts..
As the parent of a middle school musician, this store is convenient for us and will order something quickly if they don’t have it. I haven’t been thrilled with our music lesson experience (some seem over priced and its rare that you get your full time due to so many lessons scheduled) am not sure that we will continue with lessons if we can find alternative. However, my son thinks his saxophone instructor is great and that’s an important part of the experience. He needs to be comfortable with who we use.
Horrible customer service. Don’t expect a call back cause u will never get it accept from Mike, best one in there. Ended up dealing with the Camden store where they are fantastic, helpful and never made me feel like I was a problem while trying to make the right decision buying an instrument.
Horrible store. Worst customer service and prices in the music business. This place reminds me of Accent Music….terrible. Selection is poor and prices are for the rich. I will NEVER go back into this store again 🙁
BnB Music is worth the drive. I will be commuting for my music needs from now on.
If I can give ZERO stars I will without any hesitation. They have the worst staff with major attitude issues. You walk in as a customer and ask them something, they get irritated for “doing their job”. Guess all they want to do is listen to their iphone and spend free time there !! There is a guy by name “Josh” – he is among the worst ! The second is his manger I guess, the one with the long hair. I don’t want to even remember his name. When my daughter’s flute was repaired and sent here (5 visits and yet they don’t have a clue what’s going on), these guys acted as if Kirkwood store is responsibile and was extremely disresepctful. Throwing the client files on the table and one guy almost approaching me (Josh) with an attitude to confront. The other guy with the long hair started yelling and pointing fingers. My daughter and I exited with embarassment. This is what we get for being a customer for 5 + years. Kevin from Kirkwood store on the other hand is very gentle, helpful and completely customer oriented. Middletown store – no wonder has only few customers or students walking in even before COVID. The staffs there definitely need customer service training and importantly emotional intelligence. A bunch of arrogant inexperienced men showing their anger and frustration in life on customers ! Pathetic & Horrible !! Stay away from this store if you want a good customer experience overall.
The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. A wonderful experience!
Very helpful staff.
Its an “OK” kinda music store.
Little pricey but good for getting the little accessories. It is what it is.
Great selection on guitars customer service could be better
Alot of selection here. New and used stuff. Prices are a bit high it seems, but It is a small business, so it is expected, I guess
If I could rate with negative stars I would. They have had a Peavy amp for 15 months for repair and it was never even looked at. Purchased from them three years ago. And they may have had it longer than us. WARNING go elsewhere if you are looking for good service.
No holiday discounts if paying by credit card. The salesman was great though. Too bad.
I called for a possible internship opportunity for my school summer project since I plan on pursuing a career in music education. I asked to speak with the store manager and the employee said he was not in at the moment. Usually I am asked for my information after this to give to the store manager but he didn’t ask so as anyone else I offered if he could give my information to him. The employee then hung up on me in my face. I believe his name was John but I did not appreciate this experience at all.

ottimo sito web
Great place..good service
(Translated in English)
Ajam IGNORED my phone calls after I PAID him in FULL and WIRED the money to him. He took advantage of me because I am an ELDERLY senior who does not speak English that well. He instructed me to WIRE him the money. He also doesn’t take credit card payments which is really really STRANGE. I had someone help me contact him after I kept waiting and waiting for his package.
No email, no confirmation, no receipt, no description of the items ordered.
We asked for a REFUND, but instead he shipped the package the day after we spoke to him. He PRETENDED that he sent the package a long time ago, but when we checked the tracking number, he shipped it that day.
Then he texted us and I quote, “Looks like it is our turn to file a complaint. Package was received from KETRON AMERICA last week by Mr. Tim, states USPS but no confirmation from Mr. Tim despite us requesting twice now via email..Is it therefore right we refer to you both as scammers and file a complaint as you did?”
We just wanted a REFUND and you shipped us the package instead, so that you could KEEP the MONEY.
Is that how you should treat a CONSUMER who’s money you TOOK? That is UNACCEPTABLE behavior! Sounds like a THREATENING text message. Is he even allowed to have BBB on his website when he is not BBB accredited?
Please be AWARE of SCAM companies like this who take ADVANTAGE and IGNORE elderly people or people who do not speak English that well. They think they can get away with this because usually these people will let it go and let them take their money because they don’t know how complain or write a review. This is very sad and needs to STOP.
He is very nice person and you feel that you can trust him but I bought a brand new ketrkn sd90, I got this item(see picturs). and then he told me its brand new after I said that its looks used and also I had another shipping label on the box, meaning it sent to someone else before me. I asked for a return he said I have to pay 20% fee for returns that’s mean alot of money because I payed few thousands.. so I opened a case on PayPal. and then got my refund. before i payed it started excellent, after I payed I started to get delays etc.. but again he is very profasional in ketron and very nice guy, but I cant trust him unfortunately. and it was very hard to put this review, but I think that its important that other people not gonna feel like I felt..
I wanted to update the status.
Ajam never paid a Penny to me yet this 2021 Feburary.
Big scam artists.
I can’t believe you do business like that.
Pay me money.
Scammers
These people are scammers.
AJ is a scammer he took my keyboard sold it and never paid me.
I have contacted him several times for over a year and 3 months and still didnt get my money.
I will recommend not dealing with them under any circumstances.
Please Aj if you see my messages or missed calls or what’s app messages remember that I have been more than patient.
I will make sure everyone knows what kind of a person you are .

The gentleman in the store couldn’t have been nicer. They helped me with a guitar and got it working great. They know their stuff. Great guys. Will always go their for any thing I need for my musical instruments. They have amazing prices as well.
Very friendly and helpful!
Cool spot. Decent selection of various instruments. Has 13 practice rooms but unfortunately are not allowed for lessons due to the current pandemic. Either way definitely worth checking out; staff was very helpful!
Played several acoustic by Guild and Takamine. Enjoyed myself.
Great place sat 3pm was crowded and they only had one staff so longer then normal for service.
I’ve had good service at this store. The staff is polite, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Ordered a bass amp there a month ago and it still has not come in. We were told it would take 7 business days to get here and every week we go back it’s a new story well this week are getting our money back and going to guitar center where they have always told the truth and we have always received our products promptly !!!!!!!! Sorry but the service there is the worst ever!!!!
Not good…. I am new in town and looking for a new music store and when I arrived here the store was dirty with parts and equipment laying on the ground. Then when I found someone and asked about a mic stand they showed me they only had 1 which was way over priced for a cheap stand then when I went to ask another question I was ignored so I just left… I really wish I could have utilized this store instead of driving to guitar center 🙁
Dropped off an instrument for repair. Told an estimated 2 weeks. Called after 1 month and could not even get an answer as to if the instrument had even been looked at! There was no one at the store that could even answer a question as the three staff members I spoke to stated they had no idea! Horrible customer service!

Great music store. Friendly staff. Always a good variety of gear and instruments. Knowledgeable staff too.
The people that work there are always nice and helpful
Mat was a great guy that works for you.Spent 4,500 this year already.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I find their prices a little higher than elsewhere, but their location is convenient, and sometimes it’s just easier going into a store rather than dealing with another music store on the phone.
Went to purchase my 8 year old daughter piano lessons back in December and was told I needed to purchase a piano or she wouldn’t succeed in lessons. I explained she wasn’t even clear if this is something she wanted to peruse but just wanted to try it. The cashier wasn’t helpful and I went out hopeless. Fast forward to a little over 2 months and we found an excellent instructor who guided us toward a keyboard to practice and she absolutely loves it. A piano purchase is probably in the near future but I won’t be returning to this shop. Just to think, this visit to the store could of altered my daughters life had I gave up.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s sad that the schools direct you to such a in trustful company. Please take advice and stay away from this place.
Signing up for lessons with this company is one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made. Their billing practices are extremely criminal. They continue to charge you after you have canceled services with them. They also bill you for holidays when their business was closed and you received no services. The representatives in the store and on the customer service line are no help with billing as they know nothing. You are billed money on a different date each month but never receive a statement for what you are being charged for. This company seems to be money hungry and filled with thieves. I would never recommend anyone doing business or taking lessons from this crooked company.

I was looking for a 5-piece drum kit set for my son, so I ordered one from Music and Arts. After placing the order online, I had trouble receiving it. Luckily, I spoke to Kevin Stocker, Store Manager and he was kind enough to chase people and track my order. He did the follow-up within M&A and ensured that I receive the product quickly. He is really a great guy, very patient and helpful. He completely turned around my ongoing bad experience into complete satisfaction with his excellent customer service. Had an awesome experience at this store. I would highly recommend this place.
The staff at Music & Arts are very thorough and courteous. Elijah was very helpful and on point in assisting my daughter and I with getting her saxophone for band.
This is great shop having very friendly staffs they answer your all questions you have with patience and with their good knowledge. Here you can buy or rent different musical instruments and different music classes also by great teachers in the area.
My oldest came here for lessons and we purchased an intermediate trumpet back in 2019 that we were very happy with. Fast forward to 2022-23. First we bought a Yamaha intermediate trombone but the mouth piece was missing so they gave us a replacement “in kind”. This fall he dropped it on the ground and ovaled the shaft. This is where the fun begins. I drive the 30 min to the store and ask for a replacement, but they can’t find the sale in their system. I remembered the issue with the missing mouthpiece and the replacement. Unfortunately the clerk couldn’t get the internet to work to verify the size and sold us the large shank. Wrong! So now I have to spend another hour there and back just to return it. Amazon was more helpful but a search revealed that the “in kind” replacement from a year ago was a cheap version and the wrong size. They got me twice. Thankfully this is the last kid so I won’t have to go there again.
Friendly staff , good service
Nice staff! Nice instruments, some violins, chellos, stingray basses, music courses. Very nice music store
I purchased a single set of music lessons from Music & Arts, and they auto-billed me for recurring lessons. After multiple trips to the store, and the personal assurances of the store manager that the incorrectly billed lessons would be refunded, I eventually requested a chargeback on my credit card after they failed to refund me.
Then they re-charged me for the amount I got back in my credit card chargeback, and immediately sent my account to collections!
They will charge you for services not rendered, lie to your face about fixing their own errors, and then damage your credit score when you have to take matters into your own hands to address their theft against you.
This is quite literally the single least ethical business I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Stay far, far away.
This low rating is not a reflection of the Kirkwood Highway store personnel but rather Music & Arts Corporate and their “customer service”. We have been a customer of the store for years including lessons, instrument purchases and instrument service and repair. Everyone we’ve ever dealt with IN THE STORE has been lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. At the beginning of the summer we signed up for weekly lessons for half of June plus July and August in preparation for marching band season. I cancelled, in store, (on August 13th)our weekly lesson effective end of August and specifically requested that the auto debit be cancelled effective immediately as we had already paid for August. In spite of that we were charged for lessons for the month of September. I called the store immediately and was told they had cancelled the lessons on their end but were experiencing issues with a new company-wide system. They put through a request for a refund that day. After a week I called the store again and told them the money had not been refunded. They assured me it had been reported to corporate and that was all they could do from their end. Today I called the corporate number and experienced the worst possible customer service. The woman was cranky and short with me right off the bat and would only tell me that a refund would take 4 weeks. When I asked why she said, “that’s our policy”. She had not bothered to ask my name, my location or any dates. When I requested confirmation that the refund was in process she reluctantly took my information and treated me like I had interrupted her lunch break. And then, she told me she couldn’t tell me anything, had no idea if my refund request had been made, told me to wait 4 weeks and call back. When I said that wasn’t a good enough answer she told me I’d have to call the store. So, total waste of time, including the 15 minute wait on hold. I did call the store back and though they were apologetic they could not do much as they have no control over the refund process. Kevin, the store manager, took all my info again and said he would email the lesson coordinator and his district manager and would let me know if he had any further information. I understand this has happened to a number of customers which is outrageous. In this day and age how can a large corporation not be able to timely cancel an auto deduction or at least have a system to log refund requests and be able to tell you if the request has been received? Further, why the hell would it take 4 weeks to refund my money? Absolutely unacceptable. I can’t imagine we would deal with Music & Arts again and certainly would not recommend the company which is a shame because the employees and teachers are great. Seriously, who wants to deal with illegitimate automatic deductions from your bank account???For that matter who wants to loan M & A’s $150. (interest free) for a month at a time??? Imagine if you had 2 or 3 students and were out $300-400 for that amount of time?!? Ridiculous!
Music? I don’t think so. I really can’t describe it. They seem to make their money renting kids instruments for a fortune. They do offer lessons by local musicians and have a lot of sheet music. If you’re looking to buy an instrument, go to Accent Music farther west on Kirkwood. That’s a music store!
