You must come to this place! So cool place with awesome neighbourhoods. Love the park near the music place. I wish i can see some live music performances while i’m in this county!
A beautiful place to sit and listen to picking, or browse thru the store. Well stocked with all things music related. They offer lessons from some of the best musicians in the area.
One of our favorite places on this Earth.
Great place
Broke a string? Lost your pick? Need instrument repairs? THE place to go!
Fun and nice
Rude and very hateful people. I have been going here for more than 10 years and I will never go back, and be treated in such a rude manner.

Absolutely lovely shop. When I visited in October while seeing family they allowed me to play one of their dulcimers and were very patient with teaching me even though I don’t have good shoulder mobility in one arm. My mother came in and bought one of their instruments for Christmas for me and they were very helpful to her— they even allowed me to call the next day and order a strap over the phone to send with my order! And when I needed the tracking number (my mother accidentally forgot it) and they couldnt reach me in a call, they actually texted me. Please do stop into this lovely shop— and don’t be afraid to ask questions and order online! I will enjoy my piece of the South in Washington when my dulcimer arrives.
EDIT: she’s here and everything I ever dreamed of!
Quality products nice people
Maybe since it was the end of their tourist season, seemed low in gift area and always the same items in the giftshop.
Nice place to see musical instruments being made. I took one star off as cashier didn’t know what was playing on speakers as we were looking through cds as we wanted that song.
Over priced and they let their cat run around, and the cat bit my son. When my son told the owner, she replied, “Yeah, she does”, so she knew!

Great experience all around. The shop is an absolute “go to” place for music heads. I could not tell you how many conversations I have over heard between the staff and customers about advice that had nothing to do with selling a product. Oh and now they have Martin guitars, they are sweet and you gotta check these out.
If I lived directly beside a Guitar Center location hours away from Palmer, I would still drive to Palmer. I’ve bought multiple guitars from them, take lessons there, the works. Customer service is killer, great store layout for both lessons and retail. No notes.
Purchased a beautiful Fender acoustic guitar. Nice facility, showroom with many choices of acoustic guitars. 6 and 12 string, and gorgeous electric guitars. Friendly and knowledgeable sales staff.
My guitar was in for repairs for about 4 months. Almost no communication was provided about status of the repair work. It’s understandable with Covid making it difficult to have parts shipped, but the lack of adequate communication was uncomfortably disappointing. I don’t blame the young individual who was working on my guitar, but rather leadership who should have provided direction on appropriate and timely customer service communication. It doesn’t matter to me that it would have taken considerable time for repairs. But the lack of communication stating that due to a backlog in parts, and it was just a waiting game, would have been enough. A 30 second phone call every couple of weeks or so to advise a customer that no progress has been made is better than nothing…it would have been enough to have left my guitar there for months longer. The ironic thing about all this is that I really like the store and the people at Palmer Music, so I will most likely continue to purchase my music supplies from them and I hope my experience there was a one-off….
Usually busy because they’re good at what they do!
I was looking at electric guitars and they didn’t offer to let me plug any of them in. How are you truly going to know if you like one or not if you can’t hear the sound.
Went in expecting to buy a new guitar on 01/26/2023. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly & unhelpful.
I found one I wanted to buy but I just didn’t really want to give my money to a person who didn’t know how to smile.
Another employee walked by and was even more emotionless than the other guy. I left feeling very unwelcome.
I will not be back.
Go to GUITAR CENTER instead (you can actually have FUN there).

Typical McDonald clean setting great place to take your little one
I realize that things happen when you work with food. I was traveling and stopped to get burger and fries with my guests in the car. As we took off down the interstate again on my second bite of my burger, I found a hair…. This is unacceptable!. I just threw it all out! The thing is I had tried to give McDonald’s one more chance….
Worst McDonald’s ever!
Awful cold food service was terrible

Very clean and organized. Love our Newport store. Great job Amy Wooten and staff!
This is the best goodwill around. I always find really good stuff here. I found a purse with $100+ on the tag for $4 once and last time got a pair of pants from TJMAXX with the tags as well. The staff was friendly.
Store was clean and the staff were very friendly. Be careful with their prices–we found some good deals, but most of the stuff we looked at was priced same or higher than new. Perfect example was a scented wax warmer that they wanted $12 for that is currently $6.95 at Walmart (regularly priced at $10). So you can get some good value IF you hunt for them by doing a little research.
I love this store. Staff are always helpful. The girl in the back that does career readiness is great, she’s helped me with a resume several times. The only complaint I have is that the carts don’t fit newborn car seats like the carts at Walmart do. You have to set the baby in the back of the cart. Which is fine for the most part, except if you plan on being there a while you’ll need an extra cart. I have never seen any bugs at this Goodwill!!
One of the workers wasn’t friendly, wasn’t overly rude but I could tell that they were having a rough day
Store was a huge mess. I couldn’t even shop or move any clothing items on the rack. Seriously overpriced. A younger girl from the back that had given me a price for an item was very rude to me. Only one girl in the front working the whole store it looked like. This place is about a joke anymore.
This place is awful. I rather go to Jonesboro store.
Managers are extremely rude! The place is NOT clean. Never going back. I’ve given it a few different chances. It also smells half the time!
