We don’t have many issues with this location, but we also only get the coffee drinks. The drive thru always looks pretty busy, but it seems to go pretty quick.
Just spent 20 minutes in line waiting on my 30 minute lunch. No one seems to know where the manager is. ANGIE NEEDS TO GET THIS STORE AND THE SULLIVAN STORE UNDER CONTROL. PERIOD!!! BOGUS LIKE ALWAYS
First they only gave us 1 large fry, and we ordered 2. The fries we received were cold and stale. I then noticed the burger had the exact opposite toppings I ordered. Not a good experience here.
This McDonald’s does not cook their french fries long enough. They are par fried. Been here 3 to 4 times in a year. Same issue every time. I know they are on a timer but they are like this every visit.

Needed a USB and an outlet plugin. Found what I needed. Great service. Thank you for being there when I needed you.
Great shower, friendly staff, clean and well stocked with great selections to choose from, love the fresh options mostly. Thanks yall God bless
Good place to refuel
Clean restrooms
Friendly people and place.
Clean
Horrible customer service. Operations Manager Joshua was rude and unprofessional.
Total disregard for customers & lack of common sense. If you’re out of coffee why are you stocking the sugar & creamer instead of having a sign that says no coffee? Make it make sense.
Horrible service for repairs and tire services!!!!!!!!
The only reason that I gave them a star is because I was forced to in order to leave a review.

Great store . Mattoon is very lucky to have such a store. GREAT EMPLOYEES, INSTRUCTORS AND OF COURSE THE OWNER!!!
Sound Source has knowledgeable employees and a nice variety of musical instruments as well as PA systems. They also offer music lessons and sheet music.
Love going there and stuff but idk if it was one of the employees or just a customer, but this older guy walked up to me and my friend and made a really rude comment about our colored hair “did you wake up late at a party or something?” How the actual heck would anyone think that is an ok thing to say?????
That was one of my favorite music stores to go to and now I’m not so sure, if it were an employee who sayid that. I’m pretty sure it was because he walked to the back after that. If you have colored hair and you take hate comments too seriously, be careful.
In the late 90s early 2000’s this was an awesome store. Used CD’s, Ppl who loved to talk about old bands and music culture, It was different. Mind you, they still have great instrument selection, and fair prices for a small business. Some staff is decent, some have the personality of a week old gym sock. I’d say if your local, pick up your kids first instrument there and support local small business. Idk if the lead dude from x-crush still works there, but he was awesome. but it’s a lottery.
I remember your Christmas store at the Mall always used to eye the Bass in the box and now i am playing that a Jazz Bass i bought i am now in Tennessee so thanks for helping with my dreams
My family came in just a few minutes ago and they were very ride to us. My boyfriend, who is normally a very strong person, just walked out of this place in tears because they made him feel embarrassed. Smh. Rude rude employees who act like musical elites.
So you want to call on the dude behind me in line and not even greet me or tell me to have a nice day? Poor way to run a business. The old white guy at the front is rude and inconsiderate. He chose to serve the man behind me in line, likely because I’m a woman, so congrats on losing not only my 42$ purchase I got refunded today; but all future purchases from my multi instrumentalist husband that has been a customer here for over 6 years. I’ll buy from Amazon before giving my money to rude old men. Do better. Hope it was worth it for that dudes 12 dollars worth of strings.
11. The Music Shoppe Inc.
Address: 27 E Marketview Dr, Champaign, IL 61820 , Tuscola , Illinois , United States
Music Shoppe is my go-to store for all my music items. Friendly staff and very easy to work with.
I teach drumline students for two different schools and the Music Shoppe makes it easy to get the equipment and supplies i need to keep the programs running. I trust the staff to help make recommendations and to help me make decisions on equipment.
I also play guitar and uke, and have found the Music Shoppe very helpful in purchasing my supplies such as strings, cases, stands, etc.
Recently recommended them to my father (an avid uke player/collector, with a small fine-motor impairment) and the staff assisted with a string change on the spot. They go out of the way to help musicians out!
The Music Shoppe crew is amazing!! Definitely my 1st and only music stop!!
The Music Shoppe has always provided quality service. We have purchased one instrument from them, but had other instruments serviced. They have knowledgeable staff and I have never been disappointed with any repair or maintenance work they have completed. They bent over backward once to help us in a pinch.
My only complaint is that they are so busy with schools, it is hard to get personal instruments in. (They told me 3 weeks before they could even look at my daughter’s instrument.)
These people are consistently quality professionals. Over the last 5 years I have trusted their service and have not been disappointed.
It’s a good place for renting and buying instruments. They repair and provide loaner instruments.
Last time I came in here I had an employee make fun of me/my instrument because it wasn’t high end (which I knew). Now that I work on my own instruments I know better than to put up with snobby musicians like the one I dealt with here. Three stars because I can’t condemn the entire establishment because of one or two rude employees.
I went in to have my saxophone serviced. The saxophone I play is pretty nice. I mentioned that I played it in marching band and the woman belittled me for playing a nice instrument in marching band. Sorry I don’t have an unlimited supply of saxophones.
I went to get my clarinet fixed and they tried to up sell me on getting all my pads fixed and thought I was a child and were annoyed I came in the store when I came to pick it up. I will not be using these services again because of the horrible service I received from the workers.
Looked at stuff for over 20 minutes without getting attention of any staff members on a very slow day. I literally was carrying a list of items I needed. Prices were way out of line. Selection was slightly better than Guitar Center.
12. Corson Music
Address: 71 E University Ave, Champaign, IL 61820 , Tuscola , Illinois , United States
Knowledgeable staff, great equipment & accessories
The place was fantastic. It’s old school music store. Ben is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Good selection of guitars.
Super friendly and helpful staff with an amIng collection of guitars. They have a nice collection of ukelele , harmonicas too.
Very knowledgeable
The s place was a big help been to a few other guitar store and they couldn’t help but this place could I’ll be back!!!
Decent selection, comparable prices to the big name stores
I called today to ask about get the action lowered on my guitar. Keep in mind that I am a beginner and don’t know a whole lot about this type of stuff. The person who answered the phone was far from helpful. He was condescending and rude and didn’t answer my questions. Instead he just cackled when I asked clarifying questions and responded with sarcastic answers. I will absolutely NOT be taking my business here and did not appreciate the customer service or lack thereof.
Stinky, dirty place, and not friendly at all.
Nice products but bad service. The gentleman at the counter obviously didn’t want us in the store even though it was empty.
Tried to make small talk and the guy wasn’t having it.
13. Taco Bell
Address: 1104 E Southline Rd, Tuscola, IL 61953 , Tuscola , Illinois , United States
The best customer service I’ve had going to a fast food restaurant, they were fast friendly and fresh food!!
The crew is always friendly. They have never messed up an order yet, and my husband asks for changes to items all the time.
It’s taco bell
1104 E. SouthlineTuscola, IL 61953
The food portions were appropriate unlike some locations that short you.
The staff were all polite except for when they thought no one was in the lobby.
They were horsing around in the back room when we got here and we waited around 7 minuets for somone to see us and come take our order.
During our wait we heard a few obtuse lines such as “Hey, that’s my drink Ni..a” and a few others.
The lobby was absolutely messy. Food and trash everywhere.
I’ve included some pictures.
Overall the experience wasn’t horrible. But maybe clean the lobby and watch your mouths when working.
Slow service at the drive through. Food seemed a little undercooked.
4 times more lettuce than beef??
Potatoes sucked, they didnt offer us any sauces, didnt give us napkins. Overall i will not be returning, really bad service.
Cold food and rude employees. I shouldn’t expect anything less from Taco Bell.
14. Sound Bank – Vinyl at The Vault
Address: 100 N Main St, Tuscola, IL 61953 , Tuscola , Illinois , United States
Assessment: ★★★☆☆
3/5 based on 2 evaluations.
Reviews
I stopped in at the Sound Bank at the Vault and was blown away by the vinyl selection on offer. I wasn’t expecting much from a little record shop in Tuscola, but it easily bests any here in Madison, WI. They have thousands of records, old and new, and the prices are absolutely stellar since their overhead is probably a lot smaller.
I was really impressed with the condition of the records, and I was informed that they run everything of value through a professional VPI record cleaner, so this makes sense. They also sell record cleaning fluid at a great price, especially with no shipping costs to deal with. It looks like several bands and indie labels use the Sound Bank as their store front so they also have a lot of rare small-run pressings that you probably can’t buy online.
In addition to the records they also sell hi-fi equipment like phono preamps, receivers, turntables, and even a beautiful German record cleaning machine.
All in all, I am completely in awe of this hidden gem. It’s a record buying mecca that I would probably have traveled a long way to find if I hadn’t been passing through. The Vault is inside of an eccentric old bank vault that has been transformed by the local art community into their gallery and center of operations.
Definitely put this shop on your record hunting circuit, if only for the experience alone. Five stars to the Sound Bank at the Vault for the incredible selection of great wax they’re selling.
The sound bank is gone the man at the counter said he came in and took all his records out
