Love this store, and for brass and woodwind instruments and accessories.
Wonderful it’s always a good experience dealing with the staff!!!
The store employees are always helpful and welcoming when you come into the store. The remodeling also brightens up the atmosphere. If you are looking to buy an instrument, music, a guitar or want to take lessons, just ask for the store manager John and he will fix you right up.
I wouldn’t say it’s the most amazing selection, but the staff are quite nice and the prices aren’t terrible. Descent local music shop
I have been there years ago.
The staff and employee was good but the guiter instructor was so bad old white men. For my experience, one day i wanted tell him I want to quick. And I said that. And then he walks around us and said to me ” I am a good teacher…” I have right to quit my lesson and he do not have right to treared me. It was so bad happen and I very frastrate that he still there.
Item priced 9.99 & 1.99 each and I was charged 34.99 and 10.99 respectively at the register. They refused to honor the price marked by their code on the packaging. Dishonest & unethical.avoid.
Horrible service. Took my son’s instrument in for two pads to be replaced. Took an entire week to get a quote. Was then given a $300 quote of all this work that needed to be done. Spent the next 2 weeks asking about the status of my repair, not understanding why replacing 2 pads was taking almost 3 weeks. They don’t call back when they say they will and I wouldn’t trust them with your instrument. We had to speak to the regional manager to get our instrument back. They were also suppose to compensate us for our inconvenience and yeah that never happened.
They charged us for saxophone lessons during the holidays, when we said we wouldn’t be there. They refused to give us credit or money back. This store never has a manager to speak to and there is no communication when it comes to music lessons.
3. TR Music & Voice Lessons
Address: 301 Watermark Dr, Peachtree City, GA 30269 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
My son loves taking guitar classes with Noah,he’s great! We enjoy that he gets to select the music he learns to play, and I’ve definitely noticed the growth my son has made with playing the guitar. We feel like Noah is really helping my son with the foundations of a life long journey of expressing himself with a musical instrument.
Great job! My grandson has become a more confident and expressive pianist thanks to Ms. Anna from Taylor Robinson Music. Anna is a patient and supportive instructor who always provides helpful feedback and encouragement.
We have purchased lessons, instruments and had instruments repaired here and every experience has been good. If you’re taking lessons, keep in mind they run on a tight schedule and you have to be on time. If you’re buying an instrument, part of the benefit of coming here vs shopping online is that you get advice from knowledgeable people who truly want to help you find the best fit. And the prices are comparable. We plan to purchase another instrument that’s more pricey, so we’re happy to learn they have a rent to own program and that my child can trade in the instrument as he grows and needs to upgrade size/quality.
4. Goodwill Thrift Store & Donation Center
Address: 130 Stephens Ct, Tyrone, GA 30290 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
Nice and clean on the inside. I didn’t even notice that “Goodwill smell” that is normally present in the stores. Everything is well organized and the staff are friendly and professional. The store is also fairly new and easily noticeable from the highway.
Mondays 2 tickets of color are displayed for discounts. Today red was 1/2 off
Blue.99€….. So id say my visit was a great one!
Clean and always has a great variety of options! They are still requiring masks to enter.
Great used items
Meh. I go back and forth with this Goodwill. Sometimes I find amazing deals. Other times the shoes are so outrageously priced that I laugh. Usually the employees are very nice, but tonight I had a woman come up to be at 8:35pm tapping her wrist telling me they close at 9. DUH. I know what time the store closes and it’s not 9 yet. There were at least 4 other people shopping in the store, so I don’t know why she felt the need to come up and tell me that. Overall the people that work here are nice, but this incident did not sit right with me.
Easy and friendly drop off!
Had a rude experience with staff, I saw an open changing room and went to try on some pants, After a minute I heard someone taping my door shut. I asked the employee what she was doing she began telling me “you’re not supposed to be in there” in an angry voice. I then tried getting dressed again and she kept knocking on the door and telling me to get out. When I left she then told me I should have known this one was closed because the other two had tape on the door. There were so many ways she could have handled this better.
Don’t understand how they say u get half off the color of the day but I didn’t they charged me twice the full price then took off half.
Then the manger had the nerve to say I’m supporting people who cant work. OMG! Really
Must wear a mask in order to be allowed in. Don’t think I’ll ever return.
5. LDM Productions
Address: Millbrook Village Dr #555, Tyrone, GA 30290 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
A very nice store thats familly owned and always happy to help.
Good advice several choices to choose from awesome place
Great experience and the employees with was super friendly
Good customer service. Not a lot of music choices, but I was able to find a Rubank methods book.
Not enough room to display musical instruments. Cold hearted atmosphere
It was obvious that my presence was causing discomfort to the manager/cashier/whatever. I was not allowed to play a certain Epiphone Les Paul (not even a Gibson) because ‘they wanted to keep it clean’. I am a frikin professional guitarist with 11 years of experience and no music stores have ever denied me of handling an instrument. Highly offending for a first time visitor’s impression.
Go to Guitar Center and avoid this place, you’ll be glad you did.
Expensive, great variety
Guy was on phone the whole time…and we waited. Not sure this is the norm but it was my one and only visit
7. Guitar Center
Address: 186 Banks Crossing, Fayetteville, GA 30214 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
Bryan in particular. He’s very knowledgeable, courteous, and just down right friendly.
Much applause !!!
Good selection of guitars, drums, keyboards and recording gear and all associated items. If you’re a modern musician you will likely spend an hour or so just browsing.
Great staff and great collection of instruments and accessories to choose from
Great customer service, had everything my daughter needed, and was very knowledgeable.
Wish I had more time to shop
Nice place for music instruments!!!
Worst customer service ever! Not one person offers to help and reps routinely walk off and leave you unattended. Finally went to front register for a 10 minute check out. Unbelievable.
Wish I could say more, but the service here is almost non-existent
Good place but not a lot to choose from
8. Publix Super Market at South Hampton Village
Address: 1512 GA-74, Tyrone, GA 30290 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
I ordered three very unusual sub sandwiches and the employee was very courteous and patient with me. The subs are always the best!
Thanks
I always visit the Publix in Tyrone to get a great catered meal for my team at work. We’re never disappointed with the food.
20 minute wait for fried chicken at 1pm. Not good during lunch time.
I like Publics because it is clean and well organized.
Nice place to shop. Very good salads and nice staff
Great place shop the place is very clean and the people are very friendly
No love for the sheriff office.. beware they profiling and pulling people over on 85… looking for them thangs.. no love for the sheriff office at the door. I ain’t shopping with opps
Prices are way to high.
9. 4Heroes Thrift Store
Address: 992 Senoia Rd, Tyrone, GA 30290 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
Just a shout out to some of my favorite places to shop. I absolutely love this store! I love supporting my friends and their small businesses. Shop local and small.
One of the best places to find thrifts for cheap! Nothing is overpriced and helps out for the community! Thank you
10. The Yellow Daisy Antiques and Community Marketplace
Address: 1003 Senoia Rd, Tyrone, GA 30290 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
Cute little shop – I got a great price on a marble washstand, just what I had been seeking!
Cute little shop in a cute little town. The store is great for decor and gifts, SEC lovers gifts and signs. Great customer service.
Nice little place in small town Tyrone. Warm and friendly staff. Made a couple of nice purchases as well.
I’m only giving 3 stars because we were in the car for over an hour to get there and was really disappointed at how small it was. We had to come to the area for something else so it was a fun stop anyway. Some super cute items. My stile, but no-must haves today.
Small store with home furnishings, metal yard decor, and a few small antiques. Friendly staff.
11. Legacy Theatre Conservatory
Address: 1175 Senoia Rd STE D, Tyrone, GA 30290 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
This is such an amazing place! My husband and I have been to many shows and every one is just wonderful! The theater is beautiful, the production is top notch and the performers are Broadway caliber.
Our kids have participated in the Legacy’s conservatory for the last three years and have found a home! During the pandemic, this place is what helped them hold it together. Teachers checked in with the kids and how they felt before jumping into online instruction, and when they returned to the building, safety measures were taken seriously. They treat every kid with the same respect and value, regardless of natural talent. They gently push kids out of their comfort zones to enable growth. They don’t treat kids without a burning passion for theatre with any less importance than the die hard theatre kids. This place is wonderful. We’ve also enjoyed professional shows produced at the theater through the years. We are so grateful we found Legacy when we did!
Love this place! Great teachers and staff and a beautiful theater.
I have 7 kids and was a professional al dancer for many years. We are new to the area and have loved how kind and caring this studio is. They truly care about the kids total well-being and focus on developing them as a person and not just a dancer. They have excellent communication and are on top of every little detail. It’s been a blessing!
12. Elliott’s Bargain Bins
Address: 994 Senoia Rd, Tyrone, GA 30290 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
Great deals, friendly staff and cool shopping music!
What a fantastic bargain store!!! On my first visit I landed a great expresso maker for $1, online price $65!!! On my second trip i got a super pair of Ecko camo pants, 33 Cents!!! Fun shopping and buried treasures!!! Try it!!!
Nice place for some great bargains.
Haven’t been to the store yet but live auctions are awesome!
UPDATE: finally made it there, it really is one of the most magical places on earth!! I want to leave 5 stars but it wont let me edit or add another review!!
Good deals. Its a good idea to call ahead to see if they are open despite what the hours say online.
Very small with very little worth even the “bargin bin” prices.
Yikes, looked like bins of trash on “restock” day. Waste of a 30 minute drive.
I do not understand these reviews. This is horrible place to shop. There are no deals at all. I have seen the Facebook page so please do not respond with that. I appreciate the confidence in your business but you think your junk is worth way than it is. I am not trying to be mean but I drove two hours to shop and there was nothing to shop.
13. Attina’s Music Store Inc
Address: 155 Jonesboro Rd, McDonough, GA 30253 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
Got my sax fixed for $45 and it was completely fixed, even stuff I didn’t know I needed really good and fast service at a low price! You can really tell they’ve been in the music business for a while! Awesome experience!
Been coming here since I was a child. Always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Every few years when I get nostalgic for my high school music days, I’ll come get an instrument repaired or get a lesson book to mess around with. They answer my random questions with care. This store is timeless and magical, like that hogwarts wand shop vibes or something. Good vibes.
Best music store still around. Family based small businesses rock!
Quick and efficient service! I called to confirm that had an item in stock, and they did. When I arrived, they had the item at the register, I paid, and left. Perfect! I was there all of 5 minutes!
Has or can get you anything you need
They were friendly, but we kinda felt they were stand offish because my husband was asking all kinds of questions and we kinda felt that they was tired of being asked the many questions that my husband asked. They had a low selection of items and we felt that we was being pushed out of the store because he asked us a few times if we was ready to check out. So after a few times of being asked we checked out and left. Not sure if we will be going back or if we will make the hour trip to Fayetteville for all of our needs.
14. Nimbus Tattoo
Address: 105 Stephens Ct suite g, Tyrone, GA 30290 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
Loved coming to Nimbus! Chris and Emma were awesome and made the experience a 10/10. Chris nailed the tattoo and far surpassed my expectations. He’s the best in the business and you can tell. Beyond getting an awesome tattoo, the shop is beautiful, clean, and welcoming and the kind of place you just want to hang out at. Honestly can’t say enough good things about Nimbus and the people there. Highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone!
One of the best in the business.
15. Record Heaven
Address: 127 W Taylor St, Griffin, GA 30223 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
i have been going for 12 years or something, mr.b has an ecstatic personality
Very professional environment!
I would highly recommend Music Schools International in PTC to anyone interested in learning music and the piano! Mr. B has a talent for engaging children with a desire to learn music. His natural charisma and teaching abilities keep the children interested and willing to learn. We highly recommend this school to all of our friends and plan to attend for many more years to come!
While it felt a little too long, we had a wonderful evening and were so proud to see our daughters perform! Mr. B is truly passionate about what he does and teaching his students!!
Would have liked to see older students play more solos instead of group performances….overall the kids did a great job! Thanks Mr. B!
Nice effort from Team MSI. But as seen in other kid concert, we need to encourage children to Sing Song ( instead of notes) along with playing, when performing outside.
18. Ramos Piano Studio
Address: 403 GA-74 Suite F, Peachtree City, GA 30269 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
My daughter is improving by leaps and bounds! She absolutely loves going to her weekly lessons! She feels at ease with Mr. Ramos and is always looking forward to her next lesson.
19. Music Go Round – Atlanta/Duluth, GA
Address: 3675 Satellite Blvd # 100, Duluth, GA 30096 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
Great prices on used equipment. Great staff very knowledgeable and helpful
Very helpful guys. I wish all business’s were as organized like they are . It’s hard to find good service today. “Free Bird”
Genial
These folks are incredibly friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable. You are absolutely encouraged to test the equipment before you buy to see if it does everything you want it to. They’ll even help you run the test.
I would have rated five, but they aren’t buying passive speakers, and I have some to sell
Stay away and do not support this joke of a music store…Look at anything advertised on their site. Then look at the shipping cost! For example, they charge $96 to ship a 3 pound cymbal! What tops the cake is the worst customer service you receive via phone or direct email. “We rather sell it in the store that’s why we charge so much for shipping.” Yeah, you read right: I actually was verbally told this via phone…and to back this up, they refuse to give the business owners name and claim the “Floor Manager Naeem” is the store owner and shot caller…who is the reason behind this disgusting practice. Ann Wood is the owner. Be sure to call and ask for her if you have the same issues and she’s the real problem. This review was posted after experiencing the same situation twice here, and four other times nationwide. Do not buy anything here, shop where service and fair market value is the standard.
The drive threw took 20 minutes so many cars in line to order inside was closed. They need more help inside so people want have to wait so long on the order.
Dusty and disorganized. No temperature room like Guitar Center.
20. Firehouse Guitars & Music
Address: 612 Medlock Rd, Decatur, GA 30033 , Tyrone , Georgia , United States
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Small store, but they have a lot to look at and sell quality brands, new and used.
Bought my Yamaha acoustic there last week, the guy working was friendly and helpful and the guitar plays great. Prices were in line with everywhere else seems like. I’ve been in guitar center and half the guitars on the wall are set up so badly they’re unplayable. Happy to support a local business over them. Will probably be back to buy an electric soon.
Nice place decent prices knowledgeable and friendly staff
This is a pretty good little store. I bought my guitar and amp here
Rip off.go elsewhere. I use to really like bringing my daughter here but they must be under new management. Prices have gotten ridiculous!!!
