I sold my violin to Sites Violin Shop and he took great care of me. He paid me more than I asked because my violin was worth more than I was asking. He told me what he was going to do with it.
I’ve spent many years playing the violin, and it wasn’t until I went to Sites Violin Shop that I really excelled as a player (even helping me win multiple fiddle contests). Jacie and Joe make playing fun, educational, and exciting. Their experience and understanding of the violin is outstanding, and their ability to instruct students in way that is understandable to them makes all the difference. As an adult, I couldn’t have enjoyed my time taking lessons more. With complete confidence, I would send any student to them. I highly recommend Sites Violin Shop to anyone who is looking to learn or improve their violin/fiddle skills as adults or children.
I only got a quote from him, but he is very polite and very clear about his pricing.
Overpriced for violin bridge that was dipped in varnish. Prices are cheaper online for an actual Aubert bridge. Not very open to bringing your own violin parts to have installed.
Update:
I installed a self adjusting Aubert Mirecourt Violin Bridge myself for the price of $21.99 online from Fiddlershop.com. The cut was exactly as the one you showed me on your bridge. I removed your sound post and will be installing a new one myself. The process is not difficult, but requires some skills that can be learned. I don’t profess to be a luthier, but the quality I get out of doing my own repairs are better than what you have shown me or what I can get here in the local shops. The next best would be to go to Utah for a decent violin repair store.

We come here for piano lessons and love this place! I don’t have a musical background, and the staff were super helpful as I asked questions. Also, I highly recommend Helen for piano! She is so friendly, patient, and creative!
Best music shop in town! They support local artists and have a great selection of guitars and amps at reasonable prices.
Great business! Employees know what they’re doing and are very helpful
I feel like the name on this music store is a little misleading. Should be called “No Limit Piano Co.” … because the electric guitar selection is very limited. Having said that, the acoustic guitar selection is very good and the prices seem to be on par with the national averages for things like Martins, Taylors and even PRS. Lots of pianos and other instruments that are not typically found at a guitar store. Overall, worth a visit. I haven’t bought anything yet but definitely might consider one of the many solid acoustic options.
Decent place for piano recitals.
Formally the Piano Gallery, this place has a very good choice of pianos, stringed instruments, and lots of other stuff. Their selection of upper end guitars and basses is impressive, specifically the Martins and Takaminis that played and sounded really good. And they were set-up pretty nice for good playability.
The store was pretty messy. In addition, both guitar rooms were locked making it difficult to see, touch, or play them (i.e., you have to ask permission). Some music stores do this to minimize scratches/damages from careless/clueless customers. I get that, but minus one star to music stores that uses the ‘lockdown’ method. Still…
Recommended.
Don’t buy anything here! They don’t stand behind what they sell. Rulon is a liar and I have the emails to prove it. Been trying to resolve a problem and he wont get back to me at all…..STEER CLEAR!

This a great place, great people. Honest business. I would highly recommend it to anyone. They’ll take great care of you.
It is a great place to have lessons and buy from
Great little music store with just about everything you need. Great staff too.
Good selection. Carried amps by Dime.
Sí hay una variedad de instrumentos musicales
Great store, very knowledgeable folks and informed!
I was given 2 piano books for my birthday and I need the easy print books…so I asked my friend where he bought them..Mike’s music….so I went in and tried to exchange….said not unless I had e a receipt… its NOT like anyone gives the receipt with a birthday gift!!! What a jerk….I wont go back EVER
Only buy stuff when certain people around, won’t be back
Terrible customer service. Everybody that answered the phone was unhelpful. The manager was arrogant. They had a used version of a specific guitar I was looking for but were asking 50$ more than the guitar was brand new on multiple web stores. Horrible experience, will never go back.
5. Chesbro Music Company
Address: 327 W Broadway St, Idaho Falls, ID 83402 , Ucon , Idaho , United States
Great guitars and other instruments, as well as good customer service
From the moment I walked into chesbro, I had a phenomenal customer experience. The staff was very hands on to help me find the right strat. They had great amps on the floor to try out the guitars and hear them in their full glory. I was even given access to their pedals to hear how the guitar responded to overdrive and fuzz.
One negative is that this shop didn’t carry Gibsons. It wasn’t an issue for me because I was going in to buy a strat, but figured I’d mention for the sake of others who wander into Chesbros.
I started buying guitars and music equipment at the age of 14 and the year 1974 from Chesebro s. I had to go to the store in Rexburg just for some strings never been interested in going there I have bought guitars from everywhere Sweetwater guitar center you name it every shop every place every town I have an amazing studio I wish I could post a picture and I say I have an amazing studio so that you could actually realize just how many people I have dealt with buying.equiptment over the years.so after going in to buy some strings I’ve bought two guitars so far in a very short time and I just want to say with all the MANY people I’ve dealt with Michael takes customer service to a new level that I have never experienced before he makes you feel like the store is your home he meets every musical need you could ever possibly want and a customer service level I have never experienced anywhere.Michael I can’t thank you enough . I would say more but I don’t have enough room to say it thanks again Michael.
Friendly service had what I was looking for
Always fun, a good selection for most things and the staff is always friendly.
They had amazing set up, music stock, instrument stock, and friendly people. Great place to go for most music needs. Repair for instruments is around the corner, though.
I would never shop at this store, I made the mistake of signing my son up for their rental program which is nothing more than a high interest, high harassment loan scam. These guys are a complete joke. The complete lack of customer service, along with the harassing phone calls, and creepy home visits are enough for me to contact law enforcement. DO NOT give this company your business!
Not thrilled at all with the service of piano, lessons 110.00 a month for a child only, once a week totally outrageous. Piano gallery was way, cheaper and nicer .
I went there, asked to borrow a guitar cable, and the old guy there said “what for?” After explaining the obvious, he said he didn’t want me playing anything unless I was going to buy something. He then tried to force me to use an amp that I didn’t want to use. After he walked away, I plugged into the tube amp that I wanted to use. He then came back and told me that I wasn’t allowed to play any of the tube amps that were out for people to try. My question is this: why have the tube amps out on the showroom floor if people aren’t allowed to try them? I’m never coming back.
6. MusiCare
Address: 391 W Broadway St, Idaho Falls, ID 83402 , Ucon , Idaho , United States
Quick turnaround knowledgeable friendly. Wasn’t cheap but seemed to be a good value
This is my go to team whenever my guitars, my wife’s violin, or ANY of my family’s instruments, need servicing. They REALLY care about the work that they do, and their expertise shows in every inch of their work. Thank you for always taking care of me! Because of you I can relax and focus on practicing, but let me know if you figure out how to do that for me too!
My son is a music lover, so we stopped by the MusiCare shop while on our way home from our trip and it was definitely worth the stop. We got a live performance and filled with musical information Very nice people and very knowledgeable! My son loved it!
Just a little expensive but they had what we needed
The guy that was working there was not very friendly but they got the job done
Spencer is just absolutely incredible! I can’t say enough good things about my experience purchasing my first ever baby grand from Teton Music. Thank you!!
A wonderful selection of Pearl River pianos, and a great inventory of sheet music!
My wife and I were very pleased with the restoration work that Spencer was able to accomplish with the keyboard on our 100 year old Farrand grand piano. His price was very reasonable considering the amount of work it took for him to make the improvements and repairs. The piano looks and plays much better than it did before. We may have him return in the future for some additional work the piano still needs.
Set up a appointment for a piano tuning for 01/27/2023. I waited a month for this appointment. The day finally came and they no called no show and I even call the store to. I waited till next week again to try and contact them and still can’t get ahold of them. I do not recommend this place for piano tuning.
It was a very positive experience. The movers were very professional, courteous, and conscientious. The customer service from everyone was among the best I’ve experienced in a very long time. Ethan, Harrison, and Gabe were friendly, fast, and professional. Highly recommended for all your piano moving needs.
Excellent customer service and quick shipping. I bought a used guitar online and they inspected it and replaced the noisy tone knob before shipping it out (the next day) at no charge. It doesn’t get any better than that.
What a delight to have our piano moved y Piano Gallery. I received quick contact and the price was very reasonable. The guys were really helpful and polite and made quick work of the move. I was very satisfied and will definitely use them again to move our piano! Thank you!!
Great music store mostly very nice pianos but why post all these piano teachers on your website if you don’t really have teachers to give lessons??? I called to see if I can start my son on lessons and they told me that they don’t give piano lessons, but was kind enough to give me a few numbers of teachers to call but unfortunately I got not a single call back from any of them. So a 3 stars is for the misleading website.
True to their name, they have a lot of pianos. I was slightly disappointed in the lack of electric guitars because of their new “No Limits Guitar Co” name. But they had accessories I needed. And the staff was helpful.
Walked in to look for a up right bass wondered around for 30 min no one else in the store no one offered help then when I asked some one they said they where on the phone with a customer like maybe I would of bought one or paid for some lessons . If I had some help . But a very warm and welcoming place just not staffed on a Thursday
The amount of religion in this store, along with some skeezy fake nice salesmen, makes you want to blast Rob Zombie in the parking lot. I have money, but I wasn’t suited up enough for the slimey sales guys who straight up ignored me for the nearest new customer – they just assumed I wasn’t in the market for a new guitar. In part, that is true – I didn’t want one from that store, it would probably be possessed by Joseph Smith’s ghost. High yick factor in this store.
It’s a good store but more expensive compared to other music stores. Good quality yes. But definitely not priced for a small budget musician.
ibanez good

After many repairs and custom wound pickups over the years, I can sum it all up by saying, Eric Daw does amazing work!
Eric is the best.
He made me the best Telecaster in my life, I had 50’s ,60’s originals, Fender custom shop, other luthiers built , but Eric’s got 50’s sound, looks ,feel and modern playability in one guitar. Everything is right !!!!

Dean at Gem Pro Audio in Idaho Falls Idaho did an absolute amazing job on my 1963 Hammond B3 organ I had a massive preamp problem and a vive Rado scanner issue along with the synchronous motor issue. He was able to correct all issues and bring the Organ back to correct values as per 1963 specs, and then some upgrades with that as well. II highly recommend this place.
This guy knows his stuff!!!
Never met a more honest person. We brought in our keyboard and without even charging us, he looked at it for two seconds, he told us that it was the power cord and explained in detail the type we needed. Very kind and experienced. Ended up just talking with him about life for 40 minutes. I highly recommend this place!

Great! I find it interesting that a lot of these diner gems are in the middle of “nowhere,” as it were. And this one is worth seeking out.
I enjoyed the atmosphere. A sign on the door kindly asks you to put your phone away and talk to each other. As music by Johnny Cash and the like play in the background, you’re treated to friendly service, a concise menu, and delicious food. The wait time was just right.
I had the broccoli cheese soup and chicken fried steak. Recommend.
Happy eating!
Love the food, price and service. Highly recommend.
Great food
The hamburger was good but have had better and its expensive. Over $30 for two people for lunch.
Food is super good here and all homemade! Try some pie!
Quaint little diner, clam chowder was awesome, fries and fish were good.
We went in with high hopes having moved in near by. We made a reservation and were sat quickly. We sat for about 10 minutes without menus or service. I finally went and asked for menus. Our server came and took our order then Someone brought bread to our table. There were six of us and the bread was slightly larger than a dinner roll. However it came with a bowl of butter that was larger than the bread. A while later they brought one of three salads. We waited and waited and waited then I got up and had to go ask for our other salads. We could see the server stacking baskets and figured she forgot. They then brought one salad and we had to ask for the other, I had to explain what we order and salads came with three of our dinners. Then we had to ask for a drink that never came For our kids meal. The food wasn’t bad but it was just a disappointing experience all around. I would love to see them succeed but we probably won’t go back. The fries are great!
I understand that everyone has an off night. Especially in the food service industry you cannot be 100% 100% of the time. With that being said, tonight’s experience was beyond frustrating. I would go as far as saying humiliating and belittling. When I was asked if there was anything wrong with my meal and I explained that there was nothing on the menu stating about a certain food item and that I was allergic to that said food item what I was told was can I just scrape that off your plate. Really! That was the best part of the night. If asked to go back I would be hard pressed to return even though I’ve had great service before and I’d be hard-pressed to recommend.
Ordered a 22 dollar steak asked for a med and it was completely well done and to top it off each bit was soooooo salty it was hard to eat.
