My experience at the Music Store in clermont Fl has been a great experience with learning how to perfect my vocal ability the staff here are great and very understanding.. Thank you so much for being patient with me.. MzMusic Angel
Me gusta mucho este lugar por eso le doy 5 estrellas
I really enjoyed my experience shopping here! My friend and I were looking into guitars and we had great variety, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We didn’t expect to purchase anything but we found exactly what we wanted and more here at The Music Store. I will definitely recommend this store to my friends in the future.
Yes, I also posted this review on Yelp, but I wanted to post it here on Google so more could see what a quality time we had here!
Rick was warm & friendly & it seems to have a nice stock of instruments. Tucked in the corner of the Staples building so it’s easy to drive right by without seeing it. Very little sheet music for vocalists so if that’s what your looking for don’t bother. They have an open mic night every 1st Saturday so I will come to one & see what it’s like.
Left them guitar to glue the neck, the estimation was way above market, that’s OK. I’ve decided to go to other store but during pick up I found scratches here and there. Lucky me-made a video when I did bring a guitar the 1st time. I am just disappointed- waste a month and no result. They did polish and removed scratches (not all as I found out in another store). Not a bad store with various instruments new and used, I even bought a bass, but I do not trust their guitar master. Rick is a good guy but the master is a 3rd party that occasionally appears and takes guitars home, where I guess and damage mine.
I wish I could shop here, I try to come at night and there closed before posted hours. I try to come on a Thursday at 11am, still closed when posted they open at 10:30. Must not want business.
Does not open at 10:00
Would like to see the in side but I guess not today
Their pricing is ridiculous. $250 for a used Ibanez acoustic that’s missing the electronics? That guitar sells for $350 brand new!! Also, after reading the reviews, I would bet $100 that most of the 5 star reviews were made up by the owner. Absolutely pathetic.

I just love Leesburg Music. Very nice staff. Very nice instruments.
Very friendly and helpful.
Awesome people very pleased with friendliness and helpful staff here’s to a long lasting relationship thank you
Friendly and helpful staff
Great service and great people. Highly recommend.
Nice little music shop! Their in-store selection primarily covers the beginner-intermediate range, with many b-stock guitars at reduced prices. Good deals on amplifiers, good selection of mid range basses and guitars. Great deals on amplifiers — considered an SVT350H that they had in stock. Will definitely go back and keep checking the place out every so often!
Rude staff who didn’t seem to be interested in my business. I won’t be back.
Lack communication skills and people skills
We called before making the 45 minute trip to purchase a guitar, strings and a case, only to be turned away because I brought my little service dog. It was 88 degrees so she did not have her Service Dog Vest on. I offered to go back to the car to put it in her. That wasn’t good enough. We were there less than 2 minutes. I had brought my 16 year old foreign exchange student there and he sure got a whiff of good old American culture today.
So embarrassing. Shame on them on all accounts.

Mr Arnold is a great teacher that has tons of musical knowledge and experience! I highly recommend him!
Dan Arnold is knowledgeable, patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging during lessons. He is willing and able to explain details until the subject is clear.
I have been taking drum lessons for nearly a year and am thrilled with the progress made. My success is due to hard work and the dedication of my instructor, Dan Arnold.
Dan Arnold is talented and very patient. He make learning an instrument fun!
9. Tavares Family Jewelry & Pawn
Address: 4129 County Rd 561, Tavares, FL 32778 , Astatula , Florida , United States
Dave and Carol are excellent at the Tavares location always helpful and great to work with, will always come back to this location
Love the service especially from Carolyn
What a Great experience! The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful! Great prices! Always have a good time in this shop!
Great customer service, prices are very reasonable and willing to accept any returns that is faulty .
I love family jewelry and pawn
Nice ppl
If I could give this place a negative star I would. By the far the most offended I’ve ever felt doing business with a pawn shop. Take your business else where to avoid being taken advantage of.
Horrific customer service- I wouldn’t go there if someone paid me.
I called Family Jewelry & Pawn and told them about an item I had. A Yamaha PSR 19 electric keyboard, excellent condition with padded leather carrying case original manual and stand. They told me they’d give me 30 dollars. I drove all the way out there and showed them the keyboard. Plugged it in and demonstrated it worked perfectly. No scratches, mars or defects what-so-ever. They changed there price to 15. Yes I was told 15, made the drive out there and they decided to only give me 15 dollars instead. WHY? THEY ARE DISHONEST. This place gives pawn shops a bad name. I wish I could load a copy of the receipt to prove it. The Yamaha Keyboard PSR 19 is worth a lot more than 15 bucks. What a SLAP IN THE FACE
10. Matthew Baynes School of Music and Music Central
Address: 605 S 14th St, Leesburg, FL 34748 , Astatula , Florida , United States
Very helpful and professional. I love the fact he helped me by listening to what I wanted and even played the guitar so I could hear how beautiful the sound was. Thank you so much for your help.
Great place all around.
Great gear!
Good music store, window wraps are old and faded though
This was a fast and friendly store provided lots of information and gave us a very good deal for my son’s first guitar thank you guys it’s been a real nice guitar for us
Very friendly. Parking is at the end of the line of buildings.
Placed a guitar and case on consignment. Items were sold yet they have yet to pay me – 3 yrs ago! I have called, Chris got involved and was going to check and call me back – never happened after numerous promises. I consider Matt a thief – that is what you call someone who owes you money & doesn’t pay you. Run away from this bunch… horrible experience.
If i could give it less if I would. You claim your open till 6 on Saturdays. Nobody was home. Tisk tisk.
Sold me a broken guitar and the worker literally told me the owner would steal my guitar if I left it for repairs, but then offered to repair it for free. That’s not an exaggeration or misquote. They smoke cigarettes in store, prices are all double what any other store prices at, to even get a price for anything the worker has to attempt to get ahold of the owner Matt which can take hours. I only got my guitar back because I threatened a lawsuit. Seriously this is a horrible business and Matt is the type of guy to go to an open mic and play back to back covers of Wagon Wheel. Too bad he didn’t have the balls to reply to me, none of what I said is untrue and he can’t even bother trying to deny it.
11. Speaker Box Studio
Address: 1410 E Alfred St, Tavares, FL 32778 , Astatula , Florida , United States
I brought my sons in with two guitars in need of tuning. Chad was professional and fun for my boys. They were motivated a little more to pursue music lessons because of Chad’s interaction.
Great experience.
Knowledgeable staff and considerate.
Great customer service!
Had not been to Sam Ash for a while stopped in to pick up some guitar strings posted price on guitar strings were $5 for the Martin strings and 699 for the extra slinky Ernie Ball I was charged 749 for the Martin strings when I ask the sales guy he said well the price had gone up even after looking at the posted price on the string of $5 per set the additional $2.49 per set I purchased four sets of the Martin strings) it is not going to make or break me I would recommend that if you enter this place that you check with sales before you purchase any product I would also recommend that management post the proper cost of the item
The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but once inside the selection is good. Watch for an occasional used bargain and check out the monthly sales.
Decent store and selection.
Just got home from my first visit since our country closed down for the flu. Met at the door by two mask wearing employees. I wasn’t wearing a mask and was asked if I had one. I replied no and turned around to leave. I was offered a mask, but will not wear one. They are not required by our county and when they are required I still won’t.
I guess I’ll just feed the Amazon giant. It’s only a matter of time before Amazon puts them out of business anyway. Better get used to it.
Return process was extremely dissatisfying! They asked me a bunch as to why I was returning an unopened, unused product. When I told them they tried to steer me towards an exchange when all I wanted was my money refunded. Got passed off to pro audio to complete the transaction. More questions, more high presssure tactics to get me to exchange. Guy starting helping another customer in the middle of my transaction. Then got smart when I asked him if we could finish up first. the end he waved me off when we were through. Very unprofessional. Will go out of my way and hit guitar center next time.
I had the most terrible experience as I was looking at a guitar that I would like to buy I had an employee come up to me and say you’re in my way and you’re doing something you’re not supposed to be doing which all I was doing was testing the guitar playing the guitar to see if I like to buy it so I stuck the guitar in his face and told him here if I’m in your way please let me leave and I would take my business elsewhere
13. Music-N-Stuff
Address: 15041 Old US Hwy 441, Tavares, FL 32778 , Astatula , Florida , United States
Back in business and under new ownership: Music n Stuff is NOT out of business: it is now called The Music Lounge.
The new owner remodeled the inside, and it looks way better. Their Appeal gets a low rating only because it doesn’t look like much from the street. The inside has many new guitars and looks much cleaner than before. They also have a decent studio setup with good rates there now as well. Check it out if you haven’t been there in awhile.
14. The Music Lounge
Address: 15041 Old US Hwy 441, Tavares, FL 32778 , Astatula , Florida , United States
This music store has all the basics you need like strings and tuners and such, but they also have custom built microphones and amazing hand-painted guitars. Lots of cool unique instruments can be found here too. Breaking Ground Studios is also located inside the store. If you’re a musician who takes their craft seriously, let the engineer James work his magic into your songs. This studio has tons of mics and guitars and effects pedals to choose from, and everything is mixed in Pro Tools with pristine clarity. Definitely a cool place to visit, The Music Lounge has a great atmosphere and has been completely transformed since the new ownership. Check it out!
Awesome store! Lots of hands on, they’ll even order stuff and work with you!
