My kids have been practicing piano and learning music theory with Dr. Julie since they were in 1st grade. I could not ask for a better experience. Both of my girls are sweet but sensitive. Julie is the most kind, caring and, most importantly, patient teacher I have ever met. They grow so much each year, even learning how to compose their own songs. They get many opportunities each year to perform for audiences, including the National Piano Guild and holiday concerts, which motivate them to perfect their practice. Dr. Julie is the absolute best!

Matt is a wonderful piano teacher – proficient, talented, and good with students. He has high expectations, but that is not meant to sound intimidating. Instead, it’s a comment on the way he challenges students to meet their full potential.

Matt has instructed both of my children, who are now both in the top jazz class in high school. He has a profound knowledge of music techniques and theory but most importantly is able to teach in an inspiring way. We would highly recommend his professional service.

I’ve had the pleasure to study piano with Matt this year, and I can say that he literally changed the way I approach the piano. I’ll never be the same, and that’s a great thing!

Matt taught me how to bring out the melody on whatever I’m trying to play, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I definitely became a better musician!

I’ve started playing the piano when I was 6, and I wish I could travel back in time and learn those valuable lessons from Matt instead.

I called the number that was posted on google and I believe that it is wrong. The person kept saying that the piano lessons are one hundred million dollars and basically being rude.

This place is probably the worst place ever. Rude, prejudiced, ignorant. Teachers with no real sense of how to deal with kids and especially special needs kids.

I was with ASM for about 6 months within those 6 months my son had 4 different teachers. They finial found a great teacher that my son loved (teacher’s name is Nat). Unfortunately it was raining very bad one evening and when I called in to inform the staff we were not coming I received the nastiest attitude. I can see if I was always calling out. This was my first time. I was always on time and I always paid on time without any issues. When I called the director, he didn’t even have the common courtesy to call me back and when my husband called he also gave him a nasty attitude. It’s very unfortunate because my son loves music.

Teachers are awesome! BUT the pressure the staff puts on their music festival is too intense. Some kids are just there to learn music not to perform in public, the staff gets extremely upset if you do not want to participate on the festival.

I have been in the phonograph and music box bussiness for over 40 years buying and selling all over the world. Some 20 years ago I met Raphael Cole of Musical Treasures of Miami and I still see him and his company as one of the best in the USA. I only have positive experience with him. He offers great items and reliable shipping.There is always a good communication. What else do we want in these days ?

I have purchased several music boxes, both cylinder and disc, over the last 4 years from Raphael Cole. I have always been well satisfied with my purchases. I have come to rely on Raphael for accuracy of item description, fair pricing, super excellent packaging for delivery, and speed at getting the item delivered to me. I just purchased a Regina Rocco disc box from him last week and it was delivered yesterday (5/2/22). He only offers excellent and beautiful music boxes, rarely seen elsewhere. He will respond quickly to any and all questions I have, and occasionally send photos and pricing on items he has acquired that he thinks I would be interested. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Musical Treasures of Miami.

Leaves negative feedback for no reason, very difficult and rude person to deal with overpriced not recommended

This business conspired with a very Bad eBay seller to harass my friend, he went to my friend house to pick up a damaged item for Guido phonograph and harassed My freind about masks and vaccination and how smart Guido is , knowing 5 languages, but never mentioned what a crook he is. They cheated me out of my return shipping on a damaged item. They refused to send shipping label.
BEWARE VERY BAD PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH. VERY DISRESPECTFUL

I called this businesses number, and could hear them pick up, and then hang up. I called back 3 successive times, and each time was hung up on. I then called from another phone, and got voicemail. I left a message, and the owner called me back.
I mentioned that I had been hung up on 3 times(assuming it was a lazy employee), and he said it was because he was in the middle of something, and too busy to answer the phone. This from the owner of the business.
He also said I was not on his known numbers.
Of course I wasn’t, as I was a potential customer, never having done business with this place before.

I explained what I needed, and he asked me to send him pictures. When I explained I was not adept at doing it the way he wanted me to, he abruptly said, “it doesn’t sound like something I am interested in anyway” and then hung up on me. I have an antique music box which I have been told is valuable, and would have been willing to drive it over to him to see if he wanted to buy it. Heck he advertises he buys/sells items, and he is open 24 hours. Needless to say I will not be doing business with him, and considering his rudeness and attitude, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else bother with him either.

EDIT – This guy lied when he responded to me bad review, which he justly deserved. He offers to buy music boxes and I was trying to figure out whether to potentially sell it, and see if he was interested in buying it. Naturally I’d need him to give me an offer, so that is not trying to get a valuation, it is just how business is conducted. He might be good at what he does, but his lack of business acumen and common courtesy toward customers is about as bad as it gets.

Amazing thank you for your service

My daughter attends the aftercare program. She participates in 10 classes a week ranging from Salsa to Ballet to Glee.The instructors are fantastic. My only complaint is when I pick her up early she sad to miss class.

I have 2 children that go to Inna’s Hall of Fame. 1 that loves performing and another that is very shy. Both kids love it. And I as a parent couldn’t be happier. The kids learn skills in acting, performing, dance and music and at the same time have fun. The teachers are amazing, professional and hard working. The shows, which are often are always so fun to watch. Even now when social distancing became the norm, they put on a play performance on Zoom which was great. The school offers many classes in performing arts. I highly recommend! Not to mention Mrs. Inna is a wonderful person (as well as all the teachers there.)

The end of camp show was amazing! Kids from 4+ acted and sand beautifully for a full Nemo play.

Having moved from a big city where I can find a place to teach general music, Inna’s was the only place close to my home. The school has expanded in 2020, taken over the “unrented” space next door]. Another ballet room was added to this extension plus three small classrooms and a café.

Performing and art schools are struggling and having Inna’s Hall of Fame in the community is true blessing. Inna Moar, the owner is hard working and dedicated to the students that come in for visual arts, performing arts and now a private school for academics. This is what I would find in a big city.

The students end up at Inna’s are mostly after school but Inna incorporates the arts. Sometimes when my class is up and no students because parents are not so serious about putting their kids in the classes. This place is not cheap and no arts should be rendered “expensive” because it is a life-long learning and students who have attended at Inna’s come back and visit and remember the care that Inna takes with her students.

The only gripe is the level of students that think after care is only for games, watching movies etc. This is a treasure in our community. I have rented space for music luncheon and Inna has recitals all the time. After Covid, I hope this place is hopping again like in a big city, a small performing arts school that has so much potential. Overall, the people are warm and kids need the love and learn the arts.

Disappointing!

Worst experience ever. My husband left a review and I will add to it. We were given a price per session for our children. When she told us we would get the price, we made sure that this price would continue. What would be the point of putting our kids in for two months and spending a fortune on all the supplies and then stopping. We have PROOF…. for anyone who wants it, we have the receipt where it lists that the price continues to the next session. So Inna can lie however she wants but we have the PROOF. We spent tons of money on all these supplies and then she raised the price on us. Every time you go in there will be something new for you to buy.

There were so many other issues, it is too many to count. One of the teachers was there and she said, oh I have a fever but I’m going to teach. All the poor aftercare kids were sitting in this small room playing games. The woman who was watching them would yell at them… that really bothers me. I would stay away if you don’t like your kids being yelled at. She also made fun of one kid who went to the bathroom for too long in front of the other kids. I felt so bad for the kids because everyone else was laughing at him. Another time, a (different) teacher said bad things about my child in front of the whole class. I felt so bad for my poor little 6 year old.

The facilities are very poor. To be honest, my kids learned very little.

If you look through these reviews at least one of them (and who knows how many more) are from the owner herself. I didn’t know you were supposed to leave a review for yourself. So please beware. I don’t think anyone wants to be cheated out of money or have their kids made fun of.

Constamt staff turnover due to disorganization. Not safe, any stranger can walk in and take your child out!

Nick has been teaching my 7 year old piano for a year. Has a great way to teach kids , very patient and keeps it interesting. Focuses on making sure kids understand and able to do sight reading and have a great foundation.

My kids have been taking piano and guitar lessons with Nick for over a year and really love it. He is a patient and talented teacher who brings out the best in his students.

From the perspective of my 9 year old son who is a student of Nicolas: “He is a good music teacher, a good person, he has a good heart, he is so cool and nice.
Our family has been so fortunate to have found Nicolas and we look forward to as many weekly lessons as possible. He has a real down to earth personality and extremely talented at his craft. I highly recommend.

Omg ! What a great place. I can browse for hours and actually did. Picked up a few things this time around and wasn’t disappointed. Prices are good and just looking at all the cool stuff makes it all worth it. There is something for everyone there. I truly can not wait to visit them again. We really enjoy your place.

Great friendly people. Found a vintage top for 12 bucks..and an exact match to one of my Grandma’s casserole dishes that had been broken. Tons of fun things to browse. You can get lost in this place for hours.

Lots of china

Back in January and then again in February I sent them an email with several attachments requesting an estimate on purchasing some of my antiques. Nobody has responded to me and we are now in April. This must be a sham of a business.

Nice stuff, but no wonder why they aren’t doing that great. Everything is overpriced. Books that I could buy cheaper new. I like to support local businesses, but this place is too overpriced.

This guy’s legit

After many moons of ignoring guitar play from my earlier years due to life stuff…retrieved my early 80’s Strat from silence to have some fun noodling along with classic rock tunes. The axe needed some professional tuning and after a quick Google search Steve seemed the guy to help me. This fella is top shelf!!! Explained my history with the single owner axe and we had a great conversation about early 80’s Fender production nuances and what I wanted from the tune up. Long story short…got the guitar back in a week at a very reasonable price for the tune up. Told me…’You have any issues..bring it back and will take care of it’. 5 Stars!

Only place I’ll take my guitars for repairs , plus he has great prices on used name brand guitars

I love this store! Even if I don’t buy anything it’s always fun to look. Gorgeous jewelry and packed wall to wall with cool stuff. I always a good calico quilt here. The owner is very nice as well

I was trying to go to the Cooper City Antique Mall and accidentally found Fine Lion in the same plaza. You have to be buzzed in and I wasn’t going to ring the bell but the owner Marsha saw me peeking in the window and opened the door. She has a small dog in the store so I can see why she wants to keep an eye on the door.

Founded in 1990, the store has 16 different dealers. It is under a new partnership with Marsha. Fine Lion is crammed floor to ceiling with small items of furniture, vintage jewelry, porcelain, artwork, bronzes, and collectibles. Once you enter the store you are free to wander at will but Marsha is at the ready for any help you might need.

As soon as I entered the store I saw a teapot in my Grandmother’s Royal Rose pattern that I collect. I have several tea pots that I have picked up here and there for a few dollars and this one was marked $45. I loved their collection of uranium glass that fluoresces green. If I ever figure out where I can set up a blacklight in my house I might start picking up some pieces. They had a number of gorgeous teacups and saucers that I used to buy until a cat took out my collection. The jewelry selection was interesting and several gem stone earrings caught my eye. They had a room with several acoustic guitars in the back of the store. They also had a darling pink and white table and chair set that I adored. That is just a few of the items off the top of my head. You can spend a lot of time looking through everything they have and if you know what you want Marsha will steer you in the right direction. They also buy and trade antiques so you can bring in what you have. There are so many artifacts of history here and I really enjoyed my visit.

I have found a number of items at this location she has a ton of stuff, it’s a little crowded, and you might have to move stuff to get to your treasure. Prices are a bit higher here, but she will take money off if you buy more than one item. Happy hunting.

Won’t be coming back , very mean and unwelcoming. The store was empty and when I entered she quickly locked me inside the store. Felt so uncomfortable, I don’t think she would have done that if I was older. Would buy from the antique mall that’s in the same plaza , they are super nice and welcoming.

I collect 1800’s, early 1900’s photographs. I’m assuming the owner thinks people don’t do research, but these items range between $2.00 and $5.00. She tried to sell me each at $10.00. TEN DOLLARS EACH!
Later I found the same style photographs at $2.00 at the Vintage Mall.
I have purchased large ones at the Palmetto Bay one so much cheaper (highly recommended!), so if you don’t mind driving, better go there.

I believe, like you said, items as delicate and fragile should be taken care of as such. The photographs I intended to buy where stuffed in a literal bucket located on the floor, in one of the rooms. (Please see attached pictures)

Three months ago, the three photographs on my second pic, the lady in the store wanted $5 each. This Sunday I returned to the store and she was asking $10 per photograph. I addressed this concern with her and said they are valued $2 at other stores, so she “lowered” the value and offered 10 photographs for $75, claming “they are selling so fast”. Wow.

For reference, this rare memento mori from 1800’s was priced at $3 at the Palmetto Bay vintage market.

Thank you again for taking the time to reply to my review. I understand you have a business to run, and a profit to be sowed, but this feels like mockery.

I hope you can preserve the photographs I wanted to purchase with the same enthusiasm.

Unfortunately I’m another young person who had a negative experience here despite new ownership, albeit I’m in my early 30s. I am visiting the area and purchased from this store before with no issue, in fact I had a pleasant experience. I am a serious antique buyer, among my interests are antique books. My partner and I tried to buy a book just now that was unfortunately unpriced. The (owner?) barely tried to contact the vendor for a price and mocked my partner (literally one of the most patronizing laughs came out of her mouth) for asking if the 10 written in the front of the book was the correct price — not outlandish considering that’s a common place prices of books are listed. She quickly scanned eBay to say it was listed on there as 225 and would therefore feel uncomfortable pricing it, sure we said and left because of her unfriendly behavior (which included not even bothering to say hello when we entered or goodbye as we left despite seemingly staring us down). We checked eBay and that was the price of a *signed* copy not to mention the other books next to it were listed as $25 & $75. Had the owner treated us with basic respect and an ounce of friendliness given we were ready and willing customers she would have gotten a sale from us and we would have returned again in the future.

Terrible customer service especially if you have an issue. Prices are garbage and they will take advantage of you if they think you don’t know any better. Mae gives small businesses a bad name

It’s MickeyD’s. The only thing I eat here is the fish filet sandwich. But the new menu makes me want to try something else when I’m in a hurry a need a quick lunch.

Slow drive thru service

I was stuck in the drive thru line for 28 minutes this morning, if you can’t handle holiday traffic, don’t open your restaurant!

I made a mobile order for a large fries with extra salt and they didn’t put any salt

Took prox 30 minutes in line waiting and then after we ordered…never had to wait like that before
