Great course. Reasonably priced. Cold beer in lounge area
For a small community course… it’s very well kept and alot of fun to play. People are all friendly and the views are special. The restuarant is good for the price. My husband and I have had a great day of golf!
Safe place to live nice community
Excellent breakfast very quaint and quiet buissness with very friendly staff
Forgiving course
My wife, myself, and a couple friends were having a great time golfing on the back nine just enjoying ourselves since it was my wife’s first time playing. We noticed a group coming up behind us so we asked them politely if they wanted to pass us. The gentleman in their group said they were going slow and not to worry about it. After 2 more holes, the same man drove up to myself and my wife and aggressively stated that he was a “course marshall” but didn’t have his blue flag and that we are not to drive the carts into the dirt areas because we could get a flat tire. I told him not a problem but he proceeded to complain that we were going too slow and began to degrade my wife and her friend for playing too slow because they were women. He insisted that we let them pass and drove back to his group. We waited at the next tee off and confronted him about being disrespectful and he got even more aggressive and raised his voice then proceeded to drive off when we told him he needs to show respect when talking to people.
We are new to the golf community and don’t deserve to be treated poorly by some “Golf Marshall” because he was having a bad day and he especially has no right to speak to my wife or any woman in that disrespectful manner. You have lost a customer and I will not recommend your course to anyone.
Golf course was overall great, nice golf carts, terrible customer service. I walked in asking to play 9 holes and the front desk the guy told me I didn’t look like a golfer and then after I paid for the cart the guy tosses the key to my chest
Can’t keep a good cook
2. Properties At Valle Vista
Address: 7252 Concho Dr Suite B, Kingman, AZ 86401 , Valle Vista , Arizona , United States
This place sucks and will never do business with this lady. Too old to be selling she needs to retire or something. Valle Vista is nothing but a bunch of old folks, boring as hell and nothing to do. Everyone gossips and talk behind others back. Not a very good group of people and their gold course is horrible.
I would never do business with this Realtor ever again. I will switch to another after my contract is up.
Property values have not increased in 20 years. You can’t give these away
3. Valle Vista Station Library
Address: 7264 Concho Dr # B, Kingman, AZ 86401 , Valle Vista , Arizona , United States
They are the coolest record shop. They have a wide variety of music and you can choose from records, CDs, and cassettes. I love this record shop.
Great record shop, I look forward to stopping there everytime I visit Kingman. There’s lots of good finds, and great prices. 100% recommend
Friendly staff, lots to choose from. Got a real good deal here
Stumble across this record store while traveling thru Kingman Arizona yes “A RECORD STORE” this was so awesome made my day !!! I picked up a few 80’s classic l.p.’s (albums) and a 12” single by soft cell this store has hard to find funk/ soul , real country music classics some bitchin’ classic and hard rock, some cool jazz just to give you an idea of what You can pick up here the owner is super friendly and his prices are just right and I will be back again ….
Need records this the place
Drove all the way there during their normal business hours and the door was locked with no info as to when or if they would be back open that day..it was Thursday the 14th at about 3:30
Not really anything there but some old school large size old style records and used things like CDs and guitars.
They close too early
Was not open during their posted business hours. I drove an hour to get there and they weren’t open
5. PRESCOTT VALLEY MUSIC – PV MUSIC
Address: 8561 Florentine Rd suite a, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314 , Valle Vista , Arizona , United States
Best service around the owner is awesome and will really you give him a shot and see for yourself
Great store! I’ve been doing business with Russell for years. He has the best music store in the area. David & Trenton are so helpful & knowledgable. I always feel so welcome when I walk through the door. This store is truly a gold mine!!!
Went there with a friend.
I stopped by Prescott Valley Music looking for someone to repair my flute. Even though they specialize in guitar repair, he fixed my flute within minutes at no charge. I will definitely go back with my guitar needs.
Sadly, and most regrettably, I must report that Russell, the proprietor of PVM, used his prior good business standing to consign, endorse, solicit, directly accept partial payment for, a fraudulently, utterly misrepresented $3k instrument, that is so INTENTIONALLY damaged (a 40” gong, sawn into THREE parts, then poorly soldered back together) that it is basically rendered useless as a musical instrument. He also personally/professionally arranged for its delivery and attested to the instrument’s ‘excellent’ condition (all in email and voicemails, still retained as evidence).
Initially responsive, and seemingly aghast, he and the seller he worked with, and as agent for, now decline to correspond or address this, each saying neither or the other is responsible.
A $3k scam?????
BEWARE!!
I think all they sell is USED. Even patch cords. 🙁 Totally disgusting and disappointed.
Don’t buy vinyl from them
6. John’s Corner Music Shop
Address: 8680 AZ-69, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314 , Valle Vista , Arizona , United States
Awesome Shop. I left my Banjo down in Mexico. I really wanted to keep up with my lessons. I called John and asked if he had any banjo’s. He said to come and take a look. He had one almost ready to go. We talked and made a deal. He said it would be ready next week. I left and thought about it and called back to see if he could get it ready sooner because I was going crazy with nothing to do. He said he would work on it and call me back by 4pm. I’m super excited to start my lessons again. Thanks John for taking good care of me. I truly enjoyed sitting out front of the store talking about all kinds of things. You Rocked it.
I highly recommend checking out this shop if you’re in the market for a new (used) guitar, amp, or ukulele. My partner and I had our instruments stolen out of our van on a road trip and the folks in this shop really hooked us up. They’re SO nice, helpful, and the instruments we got are in excellent condition. High quality for an accessible price. Thank you so much, John’s Corner Music Shop.
I just have to say John is an awesome guy. I have been a customer for years and he’s always been
there in a pinch. I had a bad cord and need a new one so I could produce some music tonight. Called John up. He said call when I get there and he’ll meet me outside. Called, met outside and got the cord I needed. Great customer service. Thanks John. Keep it up. I’ll be back.
wouldn’t give it even one star! I just went in to grab some guitar strings and was never once acknowledged the whole time I was there. Not even a greeting. needless to say I walked out. Not sure what the deal is in this town but I have yet to encounter any sort of professionalism with the businesses here!!!
Low quality gear that is way over priced.
7. The Blue Note
Address: 3250 Gateway Blvd #262, Prescott, AZ 86303 , Valle Vista , Arizona , United States
Rick was phenomenal helping my daughter get her first guitar. Thank you!!
I had a PRS in need of some work to make it playable. Rick did a great job installing new pickups, new nut and a set up including adjusting the intonation. It’s like night and day. I was very impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to go back in the future if my guitars need a “tune up”. 5 stars.
Best guitar shop I’ve ever been to! Fantastic customer service, went to several different shops looking for a first guitar. None of the other shops showed the same respect for a beginner artist.
The owner is a pretty cool guy. Very knowledgeable on everything in the store. He has also made guitars for some of the biggest names in music history.
Listed as open on Monday. Drove from Spring Valley to find them closed. Need to correct this.
The owner of this establishment is beyond rude, he didn’t answer any questions (which I believe is because he has 0 knowledge of anything pertaining to his little business) and he over prices everything. I understand it’s a local business so prices will be higher but his USED banged up instruments are at least 70% higher than anywhere else for the same NEW instruments which is unreasonable.
I’ll be shopping at a honest local music shop.
Thank You
8. Jacob’s Music Shoppe
Address: 1682 E Fry Blvd, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 , Valle Vista , Arizona , United States
Very nice and polite staff. They are cool and laid back. I took my 12 string in to be restrung and tuned. Jon straightened her neck and even played a song for me on my guitar. Highly recommend! I will be back.
Great prices on repair work, fret sprout, truss rod adjustment, etc.
Please support your local music shop in Sierra Vista. Sure something might be cheaper on Amazon here/there, but I’d rather help keep a great local business going, than further fuel Jeff Bezos yacht fund.
Great place to get your musician related needs
Nice place. Good range of instruments for reasonable prices. Friendly people.
Everything went great in my business dealings with them until I went to their bank to cash their check. The bank did not want to cash it- they made me wait 20 minutes while the teller had a conference with the manager. Long story short National Bank charged me $8.00 for the privilege of getting real money. I was to get $400 for my guitar but I only got $392 this is not fair. I think Jacob should give me the 8 dollars to make it right but he will not pay in money, only checks. This is not right.
9. Guitar Center
Address: 8949 E Indian Bend Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85250 , Valle Vista , Arizona , United States
Jordan M is great. Went in knowing nothing and wanting to learn to play guitar. Got me set up with a beautiful guitar and amp while keeping my budget in mind and got me out below under budget. Very informative and made sure my needs were met. Helped me carry gear out to car as well.
Staff was helpful and friendly
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very clean and organized store.
I had really good service. The tech/ manager was really helpful.
Bought a guitar. Couldn’t help myself.
Bought an item that looked like it had been opened before and had to pay full retail. I wouldn’t have bought it if I didn’t desperately need it. I know that the device probably works fine but most places add a discount to open box items.
Please do not shop for guitars here if you care about quality. Buy a guitar from a shop that cares about what you think of an instrument, how you play it, and ultimately you as a musician. You will be unpleasantly surprised to find out how much is wrong with a new guitar from here everytime as soon as you bring it to a professional for set up. I’ve been gifted three guitars from here and can guarantee you I’m done shopping here.
I took an old family Dobro to them and they repaired it beautifully. The sound is wonderful and the music brings us great joy.
I have been looking to purchase a Warwick Corvette $$ GPS for some time and I found a beautiful 2015 German built bass on Reverb. Seeing that the Reverb account was local I inquired and managed to negotiate a good price. Alan in the brick and mortar store, Guitar Pickers, was ready for me when I arrived, I tested the guitar and purchased right then and there. A great place with really friendly folks and an in house shop.
I would recommend them to anyone!!
Great staff. Great location, great selection, great prices….super experience, second to none…..
Nice family owned place.
Nice guitar selection but not many to choose from. The prices are higher than any other guitar shop in town.
Decent selection but definitely priced at the very high end of the scale
I took my guitar in for a total fret job because I had extreme divots in a few of the frets due to play wear. I had the money set aside and I specifically asked for a total replacement fret job. I was told my guitar had enough life on the frets to do a level and crown so I gave the consent for that and even paid up front in full. A week later I picked up the guitar and brought it home. After just 5 minutes of playing on it in the living room the divots in my frets reappeared. I then pushed the G and B string down against the frets and rubbed it back and forth. Metal shavings started coming off the frets! I called the shop and was told that they filled in my fret divots with soldering wire metal. What!!!!!! Who does that? Soldering wire is soft. Only a beginner working in their Mom’s basement would think that could be a good idea. When I dropped off the guitar I told the repairman that I play six nights a week on this guitar and he fills in my frets with soldering wire???????? I got burned. He told me to bring it back and he’d fix it but why would I do that? He burned me the first time on a paid repair. Why would I allow him to touch my guitar on a free fix? Ive been told he makes some wonderful acoustic guitars but he treated me like I was some 15 year old kid who had a 75.00 guitar. I’ll never refer anyone to this shop for a set-up or a guitar repair.
Do not do business here. Youve been warned. Terribly dishonest people.
I would never spend a penny here. Shady business practices, no regard whatsoever for the Craigslist community. Should change the name to house of SPAM. -1 Star
